I've been meaning to come here for quite a while and as we were travelling back from from Dorset we called in on a wet and stormy Thursday. We had a warm welcome, and decided on sourdough bacon sandwich and a toasty with a mushroom coffee ( a first for me ) Food was very tasty and clean plates for my partner and I. You can tell that care, attention and love are put into the menu and I love that its organic. The choice of cakes were too temping so I came away with a coffee cake for once we got home! What a lovely tucked away gem, I can imagine on a beautiful day, the scenery is stunning and very relaxing. The farm shop being on the same site is very handy with a good choice of organic produce for sale.

WE booked the whole place out for a late lunch/early dinner on Sunday. The Farm Cafe is normally shut on a Sunday but Olga agreed to open especially for us for a birthday celebration. It was simply superb. 13 of us, 9 adults and 4 tiny tots 6 months to 4 years. It was so relaxed with the kiddies being able to amuse themselves a bit with some indoor toys as well as on the swings in the play area outside - and of course we were all able to enjoy the fabulously tasty food that Olga and her waitress helper Hannah, served up for us. Olga really knows how to cook and with Hannah to help they served up a real treat of a three course meal starting with some tasty 'amuse bouche' which we gobbled up to accompany the Cava which we had taken with us. We took our own drinks as the cafe doesn't have a licence to sell alcohol but that was no problem at all. We're frequent visitors for morning coffee, a light lunch or afternoon tea and we're never disappointed. This Sunday birthday feast a the cafe was a new experience and we loved it in every respect. Thank you very much Olga and Hannah.

We decided to divert from A303 for lunch and what a stroke of luck to find this oasis of natural living. Brilliant lunch of sausage/cheese sandwiches with seedy salads/carrot soup/ homemade cakes some with petals. Sweet cafe with indoor and outdoor seating and composting toilets. Camping and Caravan approved site and swing and slide. Huge variety on drinks menu. There were traces of petal in the tea! Pretty pottery cups. Memorable and deserving of recommendation.

What a hidden gem, so peaceful. Stumbled upon the cafe & farm shop by chance when out walking my dog. Great coffee & a devious salad. The place has a nice feel to it & I loved all the plants. Will return for sure, I fancy trying the chocolate & banana smoothie.

Quiet place with countryside views located on a farm with camping nearby. The scrambled eggs on sourdough with cooked greens were of good quality. The service is always friendly in a good clean environment. I would recommend a visit should you be in the area.

The Crepes are absolutely gorgeous, and staff lovely. My husband and myself shared two crepes from the new Saturday menu, Cheese & Bacon AND Cheese, greens & eggs Crepes. We didn't know that was what we wanted, but in the end, it was exactly what we needed! Our taste buds and bellies strongly approved our choices. We loved both, but particularly the cheese, greens & eggs, and this is saying something considering we love bacon & cheese. It was a hard call.:) We without a shadow of doubt will be back to have our crepes fix, and anything and everything on the menu. :)

Visited for the first time on a cycle ride for coffee stop and brunch. Great service, friendly staff and food was superb. Perfect portion and super fresh and tasty. (I had garlic greens on sourdough with 2 poached eggs for £7.50 - and it was excellent). Lots of space to park bikes and sit inside or out (covered veranda or garden tables). Will definitely be coming back. Thanks!

I recently visited this unique little ‘gem’ of an eating place here in beautiful Somerset, and spent an evening with friends, enjoying one of the most delectable culinary experiences I’ve had, in such a happy atmosphere. Lilly and her team were delightful accompaniments to a succession of delectable dishes, obviously cooked with love and respect, enchanting the tastebuds with every mouthful. The flavours were sublime. We cannot praise them more highly.

Popped into the cafe for the first time for a quick lunchtime snack not really knowing what might be on offer, I chose the Posh Pork sandwich - delicious. There were lots of other tasty looking temptations but the sandwich was a meal in itself. Lots of vegetarian, vegan and gluten free items on offer from the look of it too, although that's not my thing.

Having seen such excellent reviews here on TA, and as it is so close to home, we decided to give it a try, and what a good thing that we did !! The place is spotless, beautifully laid out and most welcoming. The lunch selection was to die for, organic and just bursting with flavor. The staff are absolutely charming and nothing is too much trouble ( I can't remember when I last had bubble and squeak for lunch !!) Needless to say, we will be back, not only for the amazing food, but also for the splendid farm shop. Well done Pitney Farm Cafe, see you again soon !!

Popped in to the farm shop on the recommendation of friends and extremely pleased that we did. Lovely organic free range fruit and vegetables, also their own meat. The little cafe is superb. Everything home made. A really inventive small menu. We had a home cured bacon sandwich on sourdough bread. Absolutely divine. Vegetarians and gluten free catered for. Loose leaf tea in a pot. They take their responsibility for the environment very seriously, there's even a composting loo! (nothing to be afraid of) We're lucky enough to live reasonably near so will definitely be back

This place takes a bit of finding, but a combination of google maps and the helpful signs they have placed in Pitney village got me there without too much drama. And it is well worth the effort - super friendly and quick service, and a wide range of excellent food, sweet and savoury, at decent prices. There is also a farm shop next door to take away some healthy and tasty goodness.

This has got to be one of Langport and Somerton's most serious challengers for the best local cafe. No mean thing as there are other strong contenders. What makes Pitney Farm Cafe stand out? Well, the outrageously short distance between plough and plate, dishes with a wonderful mixture of classic, modern and foreign influences, the lovely-small-sustainable-purpose made-crowd funded building, lovely engaging staff and owner and sheltered outside seating. There are menu changes and specials to suit the seasons and an evolving list of prototype cakes. And, of course, an on going ethical approach to just about everything. I could go on and on, but the proof is in the pudding!

We loved the menu - very fresh, seasonal food from the farm beautifully presented and so tasty. I enjoyed garlic kale, homemade sourdough bread, poached egg and bacon but the other dishes looked equally delicious! Also very grateful for the warm welcome and kindness towards our little one - they provided a booster seat and toys to keep her happy.

Visited for breakfast and had a lovely meal of bubble and squeak. Really tasty with veg grown on the farm and fresh eggs. The coffee was also really good. We also ordered a sausage sandwich which although really tasty wasn't great value - it had one sausage cut into slivers of four pieces. Very friendly staff and a warm cosy setting but maybe two sausages in a sandwich next time?!

Recommended by a friend who lives nearby - we met for lunch on a very pleasant mid-October Saturday when it was warm enough to sit outside on the sheltered verandah. A menu full of organic delights! We had agro toast (tomatoes on toasted sourdough - very simple but absolutely delicious - and beetroot soup, followed by chocolate and beetroot cake and quite possibly the best banana cake I've ever eaten, accompanied by very good apple juice (mine was apple and ginger), tea and coffee. Dogs are made very welcome.
