We ordered from here at 4.30pm on a Friday for delivery. At 17.50 I called the takeaway and offered to collect. I was told it was out for delivery. At 18.30 I called back as I hadn't received it. I was told they would call back when they spoke to the driver. No call back. I called and cancelled my order as it would be too cold. I was told I would be refunded electronically. Over a week later and no refund. I Think I was just told I'd be refunded to stop me calling. Its not appropriate when people are spending their hard earned money.

Ordered online 60 min wait...almost 2 hrs later the food came...cold burnt pizzas...cold fries...luke warm wings !! ..this is after i rang to see where order was to be told just cooking it now....3 minutes later food arrived !!!....last couple of times not been great but tonight was the final straw !!! Taking full pizzas back tomorrow getting refund & won't bother again....customer service shocking !!! Food shocking !!!

This is the second time in 2 weeks now and both deliveries have been over 90 mins late. Keep being told 5 mins is not good enough

Been coming here for over 15 years both with my parents when I lived at home and now with my own family. Have recommended far and wide and have been loyal to this takeaway for so long. Recently has been so poor, always arrives late, food nearly always cold, chips like bricks, pizza looks like it’s been tossed about. Today the icing on the cake when pizza from my order didn’t arrive and I the rest of my family had to eat without me whilst I waited for it to be re-delivered for it to arrive absolutely stone cold which seems like the pizza was sat in the car all along. Absolute let down. We are going to have to look for somewhere new as whilst when an order is good it is exceptional, the frequency of this actually occurring is very rare at the moment.

Won't be ordering from here again ordered a chicken n dinner kebab and the chicken is not cooked so won't be ordering again

I don't know what the bad reviews are talking about, we love Pit Stop! The pizzas are amazing and we usually come about once every fortnight. The kebabs are lovely too. I recommend the garlic bread, hot n spicy pizza and meat feast pizza. Can't recommend enough and the staff are lovely.

We wanted to give a try for a new placed and did not order from one of our usuals this time. Big regret, won't ever again order from this place. Food was fatty, only warm, but not hot, naan bread was raw, döner meat tasteless and bony... At least they can read and there was enough salad.

Absolutely shocking food ! Took over 2 hours to come , when it arrived it was freezing cold , missed my son's food off and the kebab ... well the picture speaks for it self . Do not bother ordering from.here if you don't want to be disappointed I've had to put 1 star as my review wouldn't submit , I wouldn't give it any star

Very good pizzas - would recommend the vegetarian sweet. Huge Donner kebabs - enough filling to make two if you order extra pitta bread. Chicken kebabs recommended as healthier option but hey, it's a takeaway, so not the best place to go if you're watching your weight.

Absolutely love this place. I order from here at least once a week and the food is amazing. We have the Mexican hot and spicy wings and they are so tasty and delicious. Food is always on time or sometimes early, Always hot and well cooked and always tastes great. Can't recommend it enough.

Ordered mixed kebab, doner was amazing, fresh and lovely, hardly greasy or fatty,Chicken was delicious. Partner had a pizza, looks amazing and he said it was really tasty. Got free garlic bread which was really nice, and fries were just right, not soggy, not over done or reheated, and not swimming in grease. Definitely will be ordering from here in future. Thanks

chicken kebab = chewy chicken and the bread broke up as I was eating it. I ate some chicken with a fork but threw half in the bin. The hash browns where soggy. I ate two of 6 and in the bin they went too. Thought it was a little bit cheaper than everywhere else and now I know why. shame really.

I am not a fussy eater at all, generally I eat anything but it was awful, my son normally polishes off whatever’s left and he didn’t even eat his own. Bottle of Pepsi was completely flat and warm

This takeaway has been our go to; for Pizzas for many years. £30 worth of food ordered by phone this evening. 2 pizza's Special Mixed kebab 6 Hot Wings Quarter pounder Cheese Burger A few dips. 1 portion of Shish. Super quick delivery, friendly delivery chap. Food arrived piping hot and well wrapped. Upon un-wrapping food, instead of hot wings we received chicken nuggets, after a quick phone call the mistake was rectified and hot wings were delivered, piping hot and in a very, very short amount of time. Pizzas were exceptional, buy 1, get one for a £1. We always have these as a treat. Cheese Burger was fine. Special mixed kebab looked good and smelt great with the exception of the Shish, which was largely very tough and un-chewable, although some pieces were quite tender, but not many. The same goes for the portion of Shish, pieces were quite hit and miss for tenderness, maybe it was a bad cut of lamb. Hot wings were good, and didn't blow your face off. Chips were cooked just right. Salad was cold, crispy and fresh. Very good take away, most notably for Pizza.

Food was shocking quality has all ended in the bin. No sauce or salad on the burger even thou it was order and the bun was soggy. Hot dog came completely plan in a stale bun donner meat was burnt. Please don't waste you money

well... firstly my order went to the wrong address! I was at work and not eaten for 24hours, rang takeaway and they said I had to pay for another delivery to the RIGHT address!! THEN... my chicken wrap had no salad or sauce. just two DRY small pieces of chicken on and dry wrap... garlic bread was greasy all over my hands!! I order a chicken burger and a chicken beef and donner burger came! Donner meat was burnt with no salad as I requested and chips were dry and cold. NEVER AM I ORDERING FROM PIT AGAIN!

Ordered an hour and a half ago, food not turned up phoned restaurant three times and food not even made even though I was told it was on its way the first time. Cancelled order as it’s not even been made, won’t refund my money which I paid online saying I have to ring just eat myself - currently number 17 in the queue. Poor service all round

This is our local pizza takeaway and has been for the last 10 years . The staff are friendly , the deal prices are unbeatable and the waiting times great . I know of friends who have moved more than 10 miles away who still travel at the weekend just to get the best pizzas around . The toppings , the soft crust and skilful cooking all combine for divine pizza .The Americano is my favourite and the Hawaiian /ham & pineapple is a firm favourite with the other family members . Try it , you will not be disappointed.

The potion of fries was the small variation and not the large potion , I asked for a variation onto a pizza and paid yet I think they did not read .... This place used to deliver fab food , the food tonight was edible yet nothing special that would make me reorder ! i'l leave this place for another 2 years to improve

Only took 18 minutes from ordering to getting it delivered. 3 miles away. Can’t fault the speed but with the speed came under cooked jelly like chicken. Doughy garlic breads. Strange sheesh. The worst donner I have EVER eaten. And whoever put the food together must’ve used a catapult to load it on the breads. The chips and onion rings were ace though. Sadly won’t be going here again.
