This is a gem in Stokesley and always busy with lovely staff. I had the chorizo and mozzarella bagel with a side salad - delicious and filling. All the cakes are homemade by the staff and well worth £4 as they are amazing! Could have eaten loads as so much choice. We will be back as it’s a great atmosphere and value for money!

Mum and I came for lunch. Read rave reviews. Ordered a bacon and maple croissant and a slice of quiche and latte and tea. All tasted nice but portion sizes lacking. Croissant was pleasant and came with a small side of salad. Quiche was a small slice also with a few bits of salad. I was hungry and it did not fill me at all. We were going to indulge in cakes which did look nice but we saw some being served and slices not very large for £5 ish each. We had ‘huge’ cakes elsewhere They asked for £19 something, which I questioned. They were charging £2.50 each for a tiny tiny bit of salad, more plate decor than anything. We left feeling hungry and a bit cheated if I’m honest. Sorry!

Wonderful little establishment everything absolutely perfect. The best smelling bacon ever only wish I’d chosen it’s well . Can’t wait for a return visit, even though it’s 50 miles away .

Small but perfectly formed...... we stopped off for a coffee and indulged ourselves with a slice of Quiche. All was quite excellent and the quiche is so good we have ordered a full one to take away in a week's time for a family lunch. Lovely place, well served. Recommended.

Well it's not far off the High Street, but given the quality of Coffee / Cakes / Gelato / Service it's a mystery to me that it is not in Stokesley's Top Five. Let's keep it our secret. Top quality Cortado and our Hosts enjoyed their Cappuccino worth Oat Milk. The Frangipane was out of this world. Moist, delicious and packed with Raspberries. We started outside, in the shade, then moved in when a Table became available. There must be thousands, tens of thousands, of Ice Cream lovers who simply don't appreciate the superiority of Gelato. Served at a slightly higher temperature and with less water the flavours are much more intense. We will return. Hayling Seagoon

My wife and I were looking for a place that did a takeaway lunch menu and Street browsing TripAdvisor went for here. Friendly little place with a great fell to it when you walk in. My wife ordered the cheese and tomato quiche with side salad and I ordered the omelette wrap and I have to report both were delicious! As a treat I also ordered a slice of raspberry cake and a slice of lemon drizzle cake with the raspberry winning it for me. All in all a lovely lunch and I will be returning on the very near future.

Went on Saturday and tried to go in but the windows were steamed up making it difficult to see how full it was. Heard many great things though so after waiting outside for a moments went to go inside to see. A gentleman behind the counter looked at me and when I asked if there were tables he simply and bounty said “we’re full”. No attempt to say “would you like takeaway?” Or “we should have a table soon if you’d like to wait outside” Rude. Would not return.

My favourite place for lunch or a takeaway treat. Gorgeous pancakes, platters, salad and sandwiches and the cakes are out of this world. Highly recommend the chocolate orange cake and lemon meringue tarts, also the brownies, victoria sponge and scones. Gorgeous drinks too and always great service. By far the best place to eat in Stokesley.

I have visited this small intimate coffee house several times over past year. The two ladies who own/manage it provide very tasty home cooked fare. However, I've never found it particularly welcoming, the best you can expect is perfunctorily service. As a result I have now ceased to frequent the establishment as there are more friendly cafes close by. Sorry!

On a walk around and stopped for some refreshment. The beer was well kept and the bar staff was polite. We observed a local having a Ploughmans Lunch and what a plate full.....we shall return in better time to this proper family friendly country pub......

We called on spec today for a quick lunch prior to visiting friends in the area. The welcome was friendly. Staff and customers were most welcoming to our two little dogs. How nice this was. The food was most acceptable . Decent-sized portions and a lovely selection of seasonal vegetables. Pity not all pubs are so accommodating.

A warm welcome for all your doggies here at the Fika Room cafe! We have visited several times now with our rather large Bernese Mountain Dog and we are always greeted warmly and have been happy with the staff, the cakes, the drinks and the way that dogs are accepted and welcomed indoors. The staff have always been chatty and very pleasant. Well done! We will be back!

What a smashing hostelry. Cosy bar with happy chat, great menu and tasty home cooked food to order. Really enjoyed a very pleasant hour ( found purely by chance). We will definitely be back for more and longer. Thank you.

Quality is good. However, the portion sizes have massively decreased, the Parmesan for example is half the size it used to be and is very very thin. Chips are only provided to share between the table, so this is a clear way of trying to save money. The Bay Horse always used to be consistently good when booking a large group. Unfortunately , this will be the last time I visit until they sort out their portion sizes for the price they charge I ordered and paid for drinks at the bar which cost me £40. 2 pints of Pepsi 2 J20 2 sparkling water 2 half pints of lemonade 1 lime and soda 2 lattes
