My salad was on time - very tasty and included the extra chicken I’d ordered - thank you

Order two pittas without Mayo and one with Mayo yet all three came with Mayo on them

Ordered 2 chicken and halloumi wraps and when both arrived contained no halloumi.

Wasn’t impressed with the food no salad and the bannoffee pie was disgusting think it was made with squirty cream and just thrown together. Don’t mind payin extra for nice food but very disappointed in the quality especially for the price 🙁

I mistakingly thought this was the aintree 1 which I order from.food hasn't arrived,tried to call restaurant and its an unknown number.absolute jokes.avoid!

My first time ordering from here, I was very happy with my meal, lovely fluffy warm pitta wasn’t cold a rough, sweet potato fries was absolutely delicious. Will be ordering again!!

Great quality food and piping hot which is hard to find from most take aways! well done!

Late, horrible food. Tasted off, like a starting blue cheese but didn’t contain any on my food. Chips soggy a not nice. Couldn’t tell the difference between the chicken and halloumi, dried rubber. Really not a good order.

Communication was so amazing and the food was yummy!

Chicken didn’t taste nice atall was like rubber I didn’t eat it and to much salt on chips I didn’t eat of of the meal normally nice from here too

Food was minimal for the price we paid the chicken was dry with hardly any sauce on no side salad like you used to get just seems expensive to pay £22 for half a chicken and a chicken wrap that was poor quality

Happy with food, kept in contact, the delivery lad was polite and pleasant

I get the same thing every time they probably think I'm insane but it hits amazingly every time, early most of the time and it's always delicious

Food was hot, but dry in texture. Chilli sauce turned out to be sweat and sour . Half our order was missing, drinks and desserts ... Tried 3 times to call the restaurant each time no answer. Won't be ordering from them again ...

Food was 10/10 but this order is 2/10 no seasoning in chips an no way is the half chicken . More like quarter chicken. There isn't even a leg

Having chased my order a couple of times food arrived with extra portions. I would prefer if the food is going to be late change the arrival time rather than have me chasing up!! Delivery driver was apologetic and polite which made the food being late not so much a problem

Awful , near £50 for chips a wrap and a burger , waited hour and half only to be told going to be another half hour for driver to get there , and then get to us , joke . Asked for refund off just eat . Won’t go here again

Poor quality food. Spicy rice was literally some boiled rice with a bit of piri piri sauce on top. Caesar salad was absolutely tiny. Have 2 stars rather than one because the chicken was OK. Would not use again. Not worth the money

Chicken, ribs & wrap were perfect the garlic bread was a little over cooked on the bottom but overall the food was v good, hot & good quality. I would defo order again.

Hummus halloumi wrap had no hummus and full of boiled onions. Had a southern fried chicken wrap with no sauce, and asked for stuffed mushrooms and got cheese bits. Mix of someone else’s order/forgotten fillings.

We used to love the food here, the last few times it’s been awful. Keep giving it another chance in the hope that it goes back to how it used to be but clearly that isn’t going to happen. The flavors have completely changed and everything is tasteless and bland.

The food order was completey wrong and we were given sauce on a wrap that we requested have none due to the person being allergic. We than tried phoning as they were still open only to be ignored after 15 phone calls.

So my food hasn't shown up even though it says delivered... And the restaurant has clearly taken the phone off the hook because all its doing it beeping like it's engage constantly. Almost 40 quid spent, no food and no contact?! What a joke.

Just eat app was telling me different times so called the restaurant and they were so polite and helpful, food was gorgeous. Will be ordering from them again. Thankyou

Unfortunately I did not get what I ordered, I ordered chicken and halloumi wrap, with bbq sauce, and half way thru eating, noticed chicken very dry, opened up wrap and saw no halloumi and some sort of breaded chicken and no sauce. The peri fries which we received were incredibly salty which made them hard to eat. Disappointed as we have had these lots of times and love the peri fries.

Food was good and early. They kept in contact with me the whole time. Highly recommended

A sad end! Have been a loyal customer since it opened years ago. Food quality has been declining steadily and tonight was the final straw. The flavours have changed, the chicken had a strange smell, was overcooked and didn’t look or taste fresh. After a mouthful it all went in the bin. Won’t be ordering any more, such a shame!

Won’t be going back. Food has been getting worse for a while. Sauce doesn’t look or taste the same. Looks like it’s congealed. Threw it in the bin after a few mouthfuls

We requested a specific sauce on each meal but had none on any despite the boxes being marked as though they were hot or medium very disappointing and average also spicy rice wasn't spicy at all its a shame as previous orders from here have been really good

Been ordering from piri piri for years and always same order,my last order as disappointing, but i thought it was just one off. This time food was horrible, had to bin it and drove my lids to get kfc. Fair enough its came dead quick but i would rather wait longer and freshly prepared meal. You was a little gem before, but i would never order again, was just waste of money, such a shame

As always - delivered within time and delicious, we had half a chicken and a full set of ribs with rice and chips, plenty for two. Mango chicken is gorgeous, we love the ribs plan- super tasty!

The food is delicious from Piri Piri Express it’s always a win in my house we love the chicken breasts and the piri piri chips the best

Over priced. Poor quality. Bad taste

We order from here a lot but this time has put us off, usually the chicken is fresh and we get the hot sauce and spicy rice. The chicken did not taste fresh at all and the sauce was completely different, it was not spicy on the chicken or the rice it tasted sweet and was a funny colour. Gutted because we usually love it here

I ordered a meal deal but only half of it was delivered, I only recieved chicken and chips, was missing salad, drink and sauce, very disappointed, what arrived was nice but the meal deal was expensive and delivery driver just said he didn't have it. Very disappointing

Food was cold and one wrap the chicken was hard as if it had been frozen then put in the microwave. Food came within 16 minutes of us ordering the food so clearly wasn’t freshly cooked

I left a lengthy review a few months back about being a little disappointed with the food quality and that I’d only be ordering one last time. I made that order a few days ago and low and behold, the food was literally spot on perfect like how they used to be when we first started ordering! I’ve just made another order hoping we get that same quality! I’ve also noticed the delivery has went back to £5 from £10 which is great too as I’m fussy and hate paying delivery as it is haha. Thoroughly enjoyed, thank you!

Wasn’t an issue that it was a little bit late. The flavours are amazing. I ordered the combo and I was expecting it to come with salad but it didn’t. There were drop down boxes when you put the order in but only 3 drop downs when there should be 4 sides

£8.99 for gambas, these were little shrimp, not worth the price. Overcooked. Half grilled chicken with lemon sauce, no taste of lemon at all, looks like it’s a already made sauce. Asked for piri piri chips, I had plain ones. Very poor for Portuguese cuisine. Sorry.

Best food I’ve order on just eat. Too small a portion of rice considering the price and for £60 odd pounds plus £7.99 delivery charge something free wouldn’t go a miss. But can’t knock the food, and I’m a fussy eater.

I’ve been ordering from here for about 3 years now and it has unfortunately gone really down hill (yet the prices have increased loads which is disappointing as it’s put me off a few times, especially with the £9.99 delivery!!). The past few orders, the chips have been so undercooked and crunchy that we just couldn’t eat them. I used to really love this take away and kept telling myself that the undercooked chips were probably a one off, but today was the last straw after not only were my chips undercooked for the 3rd order in a row, I also bit into a halloumi fry which was either undercooked or had gone off because the texture was a weird crunch instead of the usual rubbery texture. It was so gross, I just spat it back out. I’ve also noticed the halloumi fries look and taste a lot different to how they used to? I know one person complaining isn’t enough to change the way the food is cooked but I’m hoping this feedback will make some impact. I’ll probably order one last time and if it’s the same again, I don’t think I’ll be ordering no more. On the bright side, the cheese garlic bread was on point hahah.

Food was on time, hot and made well. However our 3 meals came with hot sauce instead of medium, so we all struggled to enjoy it.

It's great that I could order from this place earlier then other take aways. And I consider the food to be healthier then other places. Chips could have been better though.

This place has really gone downhill food used to be gorgeous food came tonight stone cold nothing tastes like it used to bread was burnt and so hard it was inedible really disappointed as we usually love ordering from here it’s usually restaurant quality take away but tonight it definitely wasn’t

I eat a lot of times from piri piri but today the taste of the rice and the chicken is not good, the chicken feels like was not cooked inside just outside.

Ordered chicken burger and chips and my daughter the kids chicken nuggets , it was over 2 hours late. Cold when we got it, and the order was a cheese burger not chicken, my daughters chips were missing and instead of nuggets she got chilli cheese bites 👍🏻 I can’t help but think this was the weirdest accident ever…..

Food had to be re heated - literally like it had come out of a fridge! Try doing that with a **** burger

The food was delivered on time, the restaurant rang to get detailed delivery instructions as we are not on Sat nav, the lady was very curteous. The food was hot, plentiful and good quality. Will definitely order again.

Half Chicken was nice but the burger and wrap weren’t the best. Overall very overpriced for what you get. Our chips were cold and the spicy rice was literally a tub of plain boiled rice with a little bit of “Nando’s” sauce on the side

Meat, rice and chips are tasteless, feel like I am eating paper. I have already bought the same menu several times and this is the first time this happens. Not happy at all.

First time ordering from this place. I had low hopes for the hummus wrap but was actually very nice and far exceeded expectations. Chilli cheese bites are DELICIOUS - I have no earthly idea why they are £8 but I’m the sucker who bought 2 so I guess the business model works. Garlic bread with cheese was very sad and small and just tasted of butter and nothing else. Peri salted chips are average, a bit cold but that can’t be helped with the distance. I ordered some peri mayo with them which is weirdly thick and stodgy but so am I so I can’t judge. Overall quite nice but ultimately a bit too pricey for what you get (£8 for these bites??). Delivered on time and was a nice temperature though :)

Cooked chicken with some sauce on. Rice was plain rice or, for spicy rice, plain rice with a dollop of spicy sauce thrown on it. Not impressed at all.
