We stopped off at Pinchin's Farm Shop on our way to Norfolk as it's just off the A17 (southbound) and therefore convenient, if a little tricky to find. The farm shop and cafe are in what looks to be an old barn. From the outside, you'd be forgiven for thinking you'd come to the wrong place, but overlook the uPVC door and you enter a delightfully quaint old barn with a great selection of vegetables, fresh meats, cheeses and other local produce with the cafe tables taking up around half of the building. We we warmly welcomed and quickly seated with menus. I ordered a baguette with Lincolnshire sausages whilst the other two in our party ordered a plain sausage sandwich. Whilst the sandwiches did take quite a while to arrive, they were definitely worth the wait. The baguette was freshly baked and the sausages perfectly cooked. It came with a small side-salad which was fresh. We all agreed that the sausages were fantastic. Pinchin's Farm Shop cafe is a homely little place and definitely worth a visit if you are passing.

This beautiful quaint farm shop was the absolutely perfect stop for my family and I. We had a spectacular lunch - delicious food at an affordable price and the staff were friendly, charming, and excellent company! We also wandered around the farm shop and bought a selection of cheeses, eggs, and juices. The quality of their produce is unmatched! Be sure to stop by here for a real treat!

First time yesterday. Took my Mum for lunch for a treat some where different. Small place but busy. I had steak baguette with salad. It was yummy. Couldn’t fault it. However on the other hand Mum had chicken sitzel and chips. The chicken was hard and dry and Chewie. Very disappointed. Highlighted this to staff. Waiting another 10 minutes or so when staff returned. Finally addressed the issue and Mum decided to choose a cheese omelette instead. By now her chips were cold and waited a further 10 minutes or so for the replacement. Customer service not great. Not an offer of any compensation for the poor quality item and the extended wait. Paid full bill with amendments and not even an offer of a free drink or a slice of cake to apologise. I would give it another try because one meal was yummy. However this experience has put me off. There are plenty of places to eat and I would rather spend my money elsewhere. Shame really. Love supporting the smaller family run businesses. Poorly handled in my opinion.

Called in early to have breakfast whilst killing time. We arrived earlier than opening time but were treated by a very pleasant lady who invited us in. So glad we stayed as the breakfast was superb. The sausage, bacon and eggs were all sourced on the farm to which the shop / cafe belong. Will be going again when over that way.

This place was a great find. It’s signposted off the A17 but is down a little back road. It was the best breakfast I’ve had in a long while. It was a really good size breakfast and great value. The bacon & sausages are from their farm. Both are really tasty especially the thick Lincolnshire sausages. The eggs were cooked perfectly and lovely fresh tomatoes. The best bit by far was the black pudding. A thick wedge of the tastiest black pudding I’ve ever had. Will definitely be coming here again.

The owners of this place were extremely welcoming. The shop has a great rustic feel with a great range of products. I was just passing through so only took a snack and a coffee (which was good) but the menu looked fantastic. I was informed that they use as much of their own produce as they could. I was actually heading off to stay in a hotel which was a shame as I would have loved to also buy some of their meat and veg to take away. It was all laid out well, the place was spotless and served me well for a toilet stop. Would return without doubt. Seeing a local farmer pull visit on his tractor surely has to be a good sign too!

Popped in to pick up an order from the recent chocolate event and stayed for lunch. Good call! Although our first choice schnitzel wasn’t available, the ham, egg and chips we chose instead were excellent. The proprietors, Henny and James, have recently bought new, square tables that are ideal for two and can be configured to suit any size party. They’re a perfect height to accommodate my partner’s wheelchair, too. We never mind waiting for freshly cooked food, which is always what you get at Pinchins. The butchery counter is definitely worth a visit - the meat is top quality - and there’s a good deli counter too, as well as home made cakes, pies and sausage rolls. Easy access off the A16 and A17. Closed Sundays and Mondays.

Met our friend at Pinchins but , there has been a change here in regards to tables ! They are no long round ones but, all square 3 are still large tables the rest are 2 persons but you can push them together . For a change I had a chicken & bacon baguette with salad it was beaut ‘ , other half had his steak & mushroom in a Yorkshire pudding . We missed out on giant sausage rolls for supper, so got some ham & Barnsley chops for Sunday . Also, going on was the seasonal chocolate tasting this was full of ideas for Easter, Mother’s Day & Fathers Day prices reasonable & demonstrator comes round with samples to try while your waiting or after your meal xx

Well it looks a bit unprepossessing and it did take a while for my sausage baguette to arrive but it was delicious and the chips that came with it were excellent. Like others I found the staff/proprietors very friendly

Pinchin's Farm Shop & Cafe is just off the A16 (although you would never guess), not far from the A17 interchange. The shop sells a huge range of meat, fruit and vegetables which all looked very good quality. The cafe was the reason we went and the food was delicious. It took a little while to arrive but was clearly prepared fresh to order (I think even the hard boiled eggs for the egg mayo sandwich may have been done specially). There is table service and the owners are friendly and helpful. The prices are very reasonable. We went back later for tea & cake and the cakes were also superb. I will definitely visit again next time I come this way, and will almost certainly buy some of the produce from the shop too.

Just had a short break away and as we were trying to find an alternative route due to an accident we stumbled across this farm shop by chance, what a great find, we had a nice meal and a pleasant conversation with the owners who were very friendly, its a pity its not closer to where we live as i would definitely go back to buy there to buy there own reared meat, its well worth a visit if you are in the area.

We live quite close to this farm shop and have never paid any attention to the fact it was there until one day my husband had some time to kill and decided we should go out for lunch, at which i point blankly refused to be taken to a nearby fast food restaurant! We saw a small sign and decided to pop in. What a hidden gem lies within! A fairly big shop full with lots of local produce and from various other counties. I couldn't resist a jar of Lincolnshire honey which I believe was sourced from Alford. Highly recommended but was £4. The cafe is nicely set out to one side. We ordered Lincolnshire sausage baguette and chips. It was so tasty, very filling and reasonably priced. The young lad who took our order came across as a little shy but he was polite and courteous and various other staff members came to talk to us about where we were from once we had finished our meal. A proper Lincolnshire farm shop. I cannot believe it's been on my doorstep so long. Will definitely return more regularly from now on.

We found Pinchin's Family Farm Shop and Tea Room by accident on the way home from a holiday. Ready for a stop and a break we spotted their Advertising Wayside Board and pulled in. Importantly for travelers a toilet is available in the car park. Importantly this was also very clean and a contrast to many that can be encountered en route for the motorist. For the cafe and shop, the barn like outside appearance belied the pleasantness of what lay within, Whilst not in the same order of surprise as a visitor entering Dr Who's fictional Tardis, the feeling walking into Pinchin's Shop and Tearoom was, for us, somewhat similar in nature. The tables were set thoughtfully with good spaces between and the service was warm and friendly. The food on offer was also more varied than we had expected and was clearly locally sourced. Our order was taken and the food prepared in good time but without any compromise to quality evident. Having been on holiday and a little isolated from news, we appreciated the pile of news papers available to peruse during our stay. Prior to leaving we also took the opportunity of buying a few items from the extensive range of cheeses, meats, vegetables etc that were displayed in clean cool counters in the shop area of the cafe. All in all, a really lovely find for us and what we imagine to be a boon for those living nearby who can get along to visit more often.

This is a Farm Shop with a cafe inside.Stopped here on the way home from holidaying in Norfolk after several recommendations from family & friends. We ordered sandwiches and tea and although it took a little while for it to come out, the food was hot & delicious. I had the steak baguette & my wife & auntie had pannini's. You could tell all the ingredients were fresh and had probably come from the shop. They also had homemade cakes and these were really reasonable for nice big slices. We plumped for 3 slices of carrot cake & it was soooo good! If I had room I would've had the Fruit Cake too as this looked properly good! The Food was a really good price, £4.00 ish for a massive baguette and the Cakes were only £1.75. A pot of tea was a very reasonable £1.25!The produce looked so fresh, we bought a Pork Shoulder Joint to do pulled pork with & some of the Homemade Black Pudding. All of which was very very tasty! No issues with giving this place 5 Stars! Well Done Guys!

Visiting the area for the day, we located The Thatched Cottage via Tripadvisor. Booked a table for late lunch. Fortunately a pleasant day as having our furry friend with us we had to sit outside. Our lunch was as good as hoped for; a generous portion of roast lamb, served on a bed of lovely mash, accompanied by red cabbage, yorkshire pud, roasties and apricot stuffing. The sides of creamy blue cheese leeks and trio of carrots, french beans and swede were colourful and tasty. Our meal was served promptly and the half pints of Doom Bar washed our lunch down nicely. Friendly service A thoroughly enjoyable lunch, a good find which we would recommend We may not have booked had it been a cold wet day, delighted it wasn't. Note to TTCR, perhaps look at a doggy owner corner in your bar for diners over the winter months?

Nice family atmosphere, good service and super friendly. We have tried a few things on the menu now and they are all good but particularly enjoyed the Indian taster platter (enough for two), the fish and chips, ham egg and chips, pie of the day and tonight we tried the carvery and what a treat! Looking forward to sampling the Indian Buffet when we get a free Friday.
