10/10 Lovely Fresh Food! The ploughman’s baguette, was the most tasteful thing I’ve ever tried! So yummy! Clean and the staff are friendly the two ladies. I would definitely try the breakfast next time! You must go! Toastier and baguettes are the one!

Wasn’t going to write a review as it was two weeks ago I went to this cafe, but it’s played on my mind. We went in got sat down at a table, and that was it we waited and waited to be served but no one came not even to ask us what drink we wanted. The waitress just stood talking to the cook. So we walked to the counter said we are going as our parking fee will be finished by the time we get served and the waitress just said ok. That is no way to treat customers and we will not step back in there again.

The fact that the place was empty shoud have told us something. We ordered a sausage sandwich and an egg mayonnaise sandwich, as they did not have soft rolls only baguettes. Also two coffees, which were fine. This was for takeaway. When we picked them up and opened the packets, we were amazed. The bread on each sandwich was two inches thick each piece. One sausage inside one sandwich, but no butter on the bread. The egg mayo must have been just a tablespoon inside this huge amount of bread, which did have butter, but nowhere near the crusts. I am only giving it two, as the lady serving was very pleasant. Also it was not cheap. £10.60 for two sandwiches and two coffees seems a lot.

Mushrooms looked like they had been boiled instead of fried. Very greasy food! Price is okay but no hashbrowns- I think for the price you can definitely get better quality and more options elsewhere. Only accept cash which in this day and age is a pain- my partner had to walk all the way down the street to get cash out. Th joke of it is they have WiFi but no way of paying card. Our first time visiting today and will definitely be the last.

Had a takeaway Yorkshire pudding with sausage, mash and peas. Reasonably priced, great for a little takeaway! Defiantly will have to come back to sit in. Portions were great, only downside was not enough gravy.

Visited Piggys Hollow Cafe today with my friends 2 year old daughter to treat her to cake and ice creme with a hot chocolate! as well as going to order food and drink for myself. After being told they had no children’s cakes OR ice creme I decided to go and get the little one a kiplings slice so she could at least enjoy something with her hot chocolate. But no, I was REFUSED service because I had gotten her the Kipling slice! Appalling customer service doesn’t make sence to me turning away a paying customer AND losing return custom as won’t be going back there again! Also told me anywhere else would do the same! Now enjoying food and drinks in the church cafe, and yes they let her have her Kipling slice! 😊

I nipped in here to grab a quick take out lunch with my daughter. There were 4 staff and not a smile between them. After being ignored for a few minutes, I approached one and asked if they did take out and she perked up a bit and said they did. I mentioned I only had 15 minutes left on my parking and she said it would be plenty of time. We ordered a kids tuna sweet corn sandwich and a bacon, Brie and cranberry. The lady serving was unsure of pricing so asked another lady who spent quite a while tapping numbers into a calculator to announce the kids sandwich would be 10p cheaper than an adults. When it came it was one slice of bread making up two tiny square sandwiches, so theoretically for another 10p it would have been twice the size! I had also been told that they did bacon and Brie, so the cranberry sauce counted as another ingredient...so was charged an additional 55p for it...which then wasn’t even on the flaming sandwich when I opened it up to eat after leaving! The rest was ok, but bland and tasteless Brie and a little too ‘yellow’, which was a tad concerning. However, it had all taken a while so now had to run back to the car. We won’t be going back.

Ive been to piggys a few times now and first impression is that ive gone back in time to the 70s! Its very dated and lacks that 'i cant wait to go back feeling'. Having said that the staff are very friendly and it does look very clean. Excellent choice on the menu and the foid in general isnt bad though the sausages can be a little tough on your teeth! Having said this i wouldn't hesitate on going back.

I have been twice now, once with my daughter and once with my son. I don't expect extremely high standards in a cafe but a few things let this cafe down. It's got some positives so I will start there. The place is really clean and we found the wait times for cooked breakfasts to be good, under 10 minutes on Saturdays which was good. The staff are pretty friendly in the most part, unless you have to ask for ketchup, brown sauce on every table but no ketchup to be seen and our waitress seemed a little put out having to find some for my 11yr old son.My biggest complaints, is the pricing. Example £1.65 for a milkshake with a fancy name and it was a nesquik with a trace amount of chocolate and warm milk in a small glass. No offence but that is laughable pricing, probably 15p in product costs and charging £1.65 because you give it a fancy name is poor. Then you want a tea or a coffee? if you want sugar then you have to be screened by the waitress how many of the 2.5mm sugar sachets you want from her apron. If you are a cafe and don't want to put sugar bowls out then at least leave the sachets stocked and on the table for the customers to help themselves. It's silly that they are so protective of the sugar, I fail to see the thinking behind that. Finally the quality of the produce, the sausages are terrible, Iceland rejects I imagine. For £6 a breakfast the price is right but I would pay more for a sausage with flavour and an egg cooked properly, too risky to gamble on the egg as it looked watery and undercooked. My kids both want to eat somewhere else next weekend and I'm relieved. Shame though because it's not a million miles away, free the sugar and give the eggs another 30-60 seconds and bin them horrid sausages and it's a 5 for me.

Took over ten minutes to make a single sandwich for take-away (which was more bread than filling), despite a small lunch crowd and there being four staff. However, it's clearly important to periodically leave the kitchen to stare at inanimate objects, as one of the staff repeatedly performed this essential action.Won't be rushing back.

Ordered a crusty bacon cob without butter for my daughter and myself. It arrived dripping butter, I said that I had asked for our food not to have butter. It was taken away and when it returned it was a bacon sandwich, the bread was so thin that it was hard to pick it up and the bacon was the original bacon, so still covered in butter. When I complained I was told nothing else could be done.I will never return.

My first visit, and to Hinckley but not my last. It's a rather small cafe which as been well thought out. The decor is fresh and vibrant with quality furniture. I counted at least twelve tables in an uncramped area.My wife and I both ordered Pannini's to eat in (they also cater for the takeaway trade). I had a cappuccino and my wife had Earl Grey tea. The food was very nicely presented and tasted delicious. The milky coffee was very nice, as was the tea. The menu is very well thought out, with lots of choice, with the food sourced locally where possible. Although I didn't partake, the cakes also looked very nice, with the large cakes being made in-house. The staff were very good, friendly and helpful. I noticed that they were on first name terms with other customers, so I will definitely be returning. Thank you for a pleasant lunchtime experience.

Came in on Thursday for a nice spot of lunch, had some lovely service from zane and he made our visit a delight and served some lovely food from chef suzie, wasn't too keen on coming up to the bar and being ignored from the tall blonde/ginger man who was too interested on his conversation after acknowledging us however this didn't detar my experience. I do recommend others to visit for zanes service and food from the chefs was spot on good job
