A wonderful dining experience. Simple quality food that just tastes amazing and service to match. Super clean and pleasant surroundings make this for us a compete “must visit” The staff are super nice

First visit to Pieminister in Derby - won't be the last. Had the Mistlemoo which was delicious. Leah, our waitress, was friendly and attentive. An excellent lunch - even had a glass of wine.

The food was delicious and well presented. The service was amazing. There was a really good selection on the drinks menu, with some fantastic cocktails.

Great food, friendly and helpful staff, good value. 2for1 cocktails were amazing. Desserts looked good but couldn't manage one.

A great choice of pies, I chose the Moolia Rouge, a great choice, perfect with the cheesy mash and peas with gravy .This was 5*.

Myself and 3 friends went for the brunch and it was delicious. Special shout out to the staff - Issi, Jade and Merrick were helpful, attentive and welcoming.

Myself and a friend went for bottomless brunch. Choice and quality of food and drinks was good plus service from Issi was excellent.

After a nightmare of a day with our car breaking down. The staff were very accommodating of our situation and were able to amend our booking for a couple of hours later so we could still attend.Jade was extremely polite and friendly and made us feel welcome. Would highly recommend. Food is great and the place feels warm and cosy.

Had a lovely lunch at Pieminister Derby. Plenty of choice for a vegetarian and a vegan and the food was great. The staff were all friendly and welcoming, particular shout-out to Issi who was attentive and cheerful.

We enjoyed a lovely meal with family members. The food was delicious and served promptly, and Merrick looked after us extremely well.

Really great food, nice atmosphere and helpful staff. The service as quick and would definitely go again. The oyster mushroom calamari was amazing and would recommend.

This is becoming a bit of a regular spot. Good selection of pies and sides means you have a very good meal. Always a friendly welcome. Close to city centre attractions, theatre and cinemas. Good vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options

Being a cockney from East London this was not the Pie and Mash i expected ! But what a delight it was to experience the choice of pies on over.The restaurant is trendy in style with a very friendly and warm atmosphere. This restaurant beats many of the far more exclusive restaurants i have been to in Derby and local areas for food served.The deserts are original and great in taste. I will give the Pieminister 100% in presentation, good food and service !

Excellent food, nice and hot and very tasty. Pie mash and minted mushy peas is a great combo. Staff are very nice and friendly. Restaurant is nice and cosy inside as well. Will be back to try another tasty pie.

Was looking forward to eating here and wasn’t disappointed. I had a gluten free moo pie with mash which was delicious but now wish I had some more sides, so will have to go back soon and try them. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere is good, the restaurant itself could do with being a little bit warmer but other than that it was fab and we can’t wait to return.

We visited for lunch and had the Kate and Sidney pies with sides and gravy. We really enjoyed the meals and the service was great. The restaurant was clean, roomy and quiet and we could sit and talk without feeling hurried.

I was really looking forward to this, but was so disappointed. The chicken pie I had only 2 pieces of chicken, the chips were so crispy and greasy. The gravy had a weird after taste. My boyfriend had the steak and ale pie that had carrots inside but not stated on the menu and was like mushy meat. We were hungry after an hour. Was really disappointed with the experience and food for the price.

The staff weren’t very attentive, mostly standing at the bar & talking, with us having to ask them to come over each time when we wanted to order something. In terms of the food, it was just about edible, everything seemed to be extremely hot, basically microwaved!

Great place for lunch or dinner. If you like pie then this is the place to go! Food was excellent and so was the service. It's somewhere different to the usual dine in places. Would highly recommend!

Why are people not talking about this restaurant more? I understand its a recently opened venue, but the pies are simply delicious! The servers are very polite and talkative. Myself and my partner had the steak and stilton/Cropwell Bishop (Moo and Blue) pie and it was phenomenal. The restaurant is modern throughout with ample lighting. It was a Monday night so was very quiet. Affordable and not expensive at all. I would expect this restaurant to be overflowing once word spreads around. Which I am more than happy to recommend dining there. Well done to all the staff and chefs!

I actually used this place through online ordering with Uber eats and to be honest the pies are really good very tasty and full of content however what has let it down are the “sides” I ordered the £13 pie and 2 sides deal for myself and my partner, we both had the mash and when it came there was probably only a small dessert spoon of mash it was very pitiful and for the price I was charged I felt like it was a bit of a rip off, it’s a shame because the pies are really good and tasty I can only hope that they change their portion size in the near future.

Lovely place, great food and friendly service. Went there for their Sunday lunch special.. excellent value, absolutely delicious.. washed it down with one of their amazing cocktail.. 241! What’s not to love! I’ll be back for sure

Having eaten at Pieminister many times before in different cities, we were thrilled to learn one was opening in derby. As usual, lovely staff, great food and nice calm atmosphere. Definitely recommend!

Enjoyed an early evening meal, the staff are very friendly and quick to serve. I had the wild sroom which was amazing along with the rosemary fries. The pies are very filling but I couldn’t resist the sticky toffee pudding on the desert menu. We will be back to sample some of the other amazing sounding pies!

Called into this new restaurant with our family. Nice stylish decor and the staff although new were very friendly and helped us out on a couple of queries on the menu. We had a variety of pies between us and all we’re excellent. We will...
