I have been using this chip shop for some time but have noticed the standards drop both in food and service. On Thursday 8th August I ordered fish and chips (x2) and paid £10 cash. I was told it would be 10 mins so I popped next door to the Arms for a drink and when I returned 20 mins later the guy behind the counter (I have not seen him before)said he had forgotten to cook my food!?! Rather than wait I just asked for my money back and he said abruptly “we don’t do refunds” ... after another request he just turned out his pocket and promptly slammed my £10 on the counter and said “don’t ever come back” ! To say I was gonna smacked was an understatement ... as if I was ever going back ! I can only imagine he is the new owner (good luck) as the previous guy was very friendly ... I would avoid this place like the plague ... apparently I’m not the only one with a bad experience ...

Ideal on the way home from the pub. Food appears to be cooked fresh each time.. Friendly staff. Reasonable choice.

Devon Cliffs Holiday Park, Sandy Bay
Popped in as in area for Sunday lunch. Full roast x2 for £18. Now you may think I bet that was awful. Well it was very good. Hot and tasty. Had a lunch in South East at good restaurant last weekend which was nowhere near as good as this. Thanks. Got to give credit when due. Big portions for price as well. Sat on terrace with great view 👍👍

2 Lime StHaven’t been into this fish and chip shop for a long time but was always good in the past so thought I’d stop by to pick up fish and chips for myself and my partner to share .Having ordered I was very taken aback at the price of £20.40 for a large cod and chips and a curry sauce and even more shocked when I opened the wrappings to find a piece of cod that would barely pass for a medium let alone a large,it was so greasy and the batter over cooked I felt really ripped off and definitely won’t be going back !!! EVER!!

Littleham VillageWe stayed in Haven Devon Cliffs in August 2023, and The Tythe Cottage Restaurant is on the left-hand side from the entrance. Lovely little Cottage with beer garden and old style inside which we loved and small little bar. Toilets are outside. Kid friendly . Kiddies Corner on the menu and great selection. Very reasonably priced. Staff and the atmosphere were very friendly.

Four Elms HillThe only good thing about this place is the parking, because no one is ever there. Poor service, poor food, poor attitude. Would never recommend!
