Super delicious fish and chips, great place for lunch if you’re in the area! We had the large battered sausage and it was really good.

Man behind the counter was extremely rude, seemed like anyone ordering was hassle for him. Told me it was 'takeaway only' upon me sitting down as he had to accommodate other customers-the restaurant was empty at this time with 4 free tables. The food was poor, hair in the soggy battered sausage and overly not great. Far too expensive for what you get, steer clear and go to a different fish and chip shop.

Fish and chips, chicken nuggets and cheesy chips, mushy peas and curry sauce - all very nice, cooked to order, opted to eat in, pleasant gentleman behind the counter serving 😊 would definitely come here again.

Small and friendly. The server was polite and cooked the food to order, we had fish and chips for over 60s. It was piping hot and just the right amount, the cup of tea was made fresh The environment was clean and the owner cleaned the tables as needed whilst he was waiting for food to cook Highly Recommended will definitely visit again

Rude staff and the burger was a totally mess ! Lettuce mayo and hard roll. The owner seemed like he just wanted us to hurry up , the girl long hair went in my cup of tea when turn round

This chip shop is the best in Sheringham without any doubt! Would highly recommend it over any other chippy for miles around. Staff are great there too. Price is good. The burgers are really good from here also. They also use special oil that makes the chips etc a lot less fattening than most chip shops so another reason to go there. I'm local to the area and never go anywhere else.

Went in to eat after being disappointed at Crofter's Restaurant opposite. Staff were friendly and helpful and the freshly cooked food was lovely. Clean and bright. A great experience.

What a change to have a nice quility fish and chips , no grease or oil on the bottom of the tray . Well worth the wait as everything is cooked to order. The batter was really nice and light with good thick chips .

Had plaice and chips and haddock and chips , and I can honestly say the service was good we ate in and we thought they were the best fish and chips in Sheringham

I have used this family friendly seaside establishment for fish and chips on a number of occasions. The staff are extremely friendly, the food is fantastic, always good value and indoor seating available too. Highly rated and well worth a visit.

Food was excellent, best fish and chips we have had in Sheringham. Sad to say the service was the worst I have had! I have never known such rudeness from staff! There were so many disgruntled customers, due to the long wait. When one customer asked how long it would be as they had a show to get to (they had been waiting a while!) they were told "As long as it takes " Having waited for nearly 30 mins, when it was finally ready, one item was still cooking so I was given part of my order only and asked to wait. I said "I can't wait any longer." They weren't happy and told me exactly what time it was on the clock! They were annoyed as they told me they had put my item on specially! I was not prepared to let my food go cold while waiting for the remaining item. All of the things should have been served together. A bit of politeness and helpful communication wouldn't go amiss eg "We are sorry for keeping you waiting " and informing customers how long their order would be. Two of us were given the same ticket number and a group that came in after me got their food first! It's the only place I have been to that has to have a minimum spend to use a bank card. In these days, and especially since covid, nearly all places take it as common place to accept cards for any amount. I do understand they were rushed off their feet as the place was packed. And I do want to point out the high quality of food they serve. However, due to their manner and rudeness, and the way they treat their customers, we will not be going there again. This is a shame as the place seems clean and we loved the food. Come on staff, a bit of politeness and informing customers of any delays would really help you to have a lot more happy and satisfied customers!

Found this place today..what a gem it is..I was with my wheelchair bound friend..the staff were so attentive and friendly..and the food, lovely..the fish was fried to perfection..lovely golden batter..no curled up yucky dark brown fish..it was straight and golden and it was not swimming in grease..and the chips were lush..well done everyone..we will be back 😄👍

Best fish and chips in Sheringham. I had Roc, my husband had haddock. Well cooked, crispy batter and white fish. Chips good too. Eat in. Comfortable and clean. Friendly staff.
