Booked a table requesting to be seated upstairs and was taken downstairs where the smell of urine and dirty toilets was overwhelmingly strong and very off putting so had to be moved upstairs. The downstairs was also very dirty

Comimos de nuestro bono Virgin Experience más algunos extras. Algunas buenas elecciones allí, pero no volvería. Estábamos en una pequeña mesa con vistas a otra, nuestros entrantes tardaron mucho en llegar, y el servicio al cliente era un poco mixto. Y yo estaba muy, muy enfermo de camino a casa. Suficientemente agradable pero no lo suficientemente bueno cuando tan kuch competencia cerca.

Estábamos en nuestra experiencia virgen para un almuerzo en Pho & Bun. Encontré la hora del almuerzo un poco ocupado y solo 2 personas para gestionar todas las mesas, pero fueron muy atentos. La comida no era nada extra especial pero sabroso. Lugar muy congestionado, parece acogedor pero no se pueden estirar las piernas ni los brazos ya que no hay espacio entre las mesas. Resulta que al ver su cocina abajo mientras esperaban el baño, muy sucia y cocina llena de agua sucia, no limpiaba nada... me sentí mal porque tenía la comida de esa cocina... Espero que lo investiguen. Además, tenían quemador de velas en el inodoro y todos los rollos de inodoro apilados al lado! un peligro de incendio especialmente el inodoro está abajo y nadie mirando por allí, uno no debe dejar la vela en el inodoro de esa manera. En general agradable pero no tan impresionado con nuestra visita.

Este era un lugar pho sabroso y auténtico con una amplia variedad de opciones de platos principales y un montón de grandes lados. La decoración es básica pero acogedora y el servicio fue rápido (aunque quizás un poco desatendida). No es el restaurante pho más barato en el área de Chinatown, pero tenía las mejores opciones vegetarianas por un largo margen y las porciones eran generosas. Genial para una cena rápida entre semana!

Usamos un vale Buyagift en el restaurante vietnamita Shaftesbury Avenue en Londres. Había una gran variedad de platos en el menú incluido en el vale y una copa de vino. Comida muy sabrosa. Personal amable y encantador. Sin duda volveremos a visitar. Gran valor.

No tengo ni idea de cómo este restaurante tiene algunas críticas medio decentes. Las fotos de gestión de la comida se ven increíbles. En realidad, no es así en absoluto. Las costillas estaban demasiado cocidas y como masticar cuero de botas. Los rollitos de primavera eran viles y no podía comerlos. Plato principal Pedí el pollo al curry con vermicelli. El pollo (muslo) era de pésima calidad y sabía muy raro. ¡Ni siquiera podía cortarlo con un cuchillo! Dejé toda la carne y me comí los vermicelli. Al limpiar los platos, el funcionario preguntó si la comida estaba bien, así que cortésmente le dije que no y dijo que hablaría con la cocina. Luego nos sirvieron postre que estaba bien, y mientras comíamos postre, otro miembro del personal se me acercó con un menú y me pidió que eligiera otro plato principal gratis. Bastante bien, pero estaba comiendo postre y no quería más de su comida. Visité los baños y eso habló mucho y es una experiencia. Viendo lo sucios que están me dio gracias que no había comido mucha de su comida. El plato principal de mis maridos parecía agua de vajilla con trozos de carne de vaca demasiado cocidos en la parte superior.

Increíble lugar que vinimos. Habíamos renunciado a algunos de los restaurantes más populares y fuimos aquí y fue la mejor comida que conseguimos en Londres (y tenemos un montón de buenos). Cada plato era hermoso y tan lleno de sabor. Elegimos el menú con dos entrantes, uno principal y otro de postre. Toda la comida era increíble, pero el postre era el siguiente nivel, como una rosquilla con helado de coco y llovizna de cacahuete. Este lugar tiene un ambiente fresco, casual y subestimado - una gran recomendación de un grupo de cuatro; mi esposo, nuestra mamá y yo. ¡Todo el mundo lo amó! 🙏 Ps. This was a voucher experience meaning the menu was somewhat reduced from the full a la carte. We were warmly welcomed on arrival in what proved to be a popular site. Decor was somewhat basic, but reminiscent of Hanoi. The food itself was interesting but lacked some of the fresh zing of Vietnam. Our dishes were not what we ordered, with ribs being replaced by tofu. All around decent but nothing special.

Lovely little restaurant, the food was delicious! We had 4 courses, ribs with peanut sauce (great!!) prawn and beef salad wraps which were tasty when dunked in the sauce, nice and light. I had the chicken curry which I would highly recommend, so much flavour. My partner had the beef bao bun which he enjoyer but wished he got the curry. Dessert was not amazing but tasty, coconut ice cream with coffee cream. The downstairs was okay and did not smell of urine which I was expecting from other posts. The staff were lovely and attentive, food did not take long to come out. We will definitely be back again for the ribs and curry!

Half decent foods, bad service and not very hygienic place the basement stinks so bad and I felt a bit sick after going to the toilet I would stay away from this venue

The venue is a total disgrace. We had been gifted a Virgin Experience ‘Vietnamese Street Food Experience’. Which turned out to be a complete waste of money. The Virgin Experience ‘menu’ shrank from over 100 items, to 6 Starters, 6 Mains, and 2 Desserts the choice of 3 beers or house wine. The Starters were 'reasonable' but the Main Courses were practically inedible. Both our dishes were disgusting. My wife’s was a favourless mush of rice, apparently with shiitake mushrooms, which were actually plain mushrooms. It resembled a bowl of rice, with some pale unappetising chicken and week old thin gravy poured over it. Both our Main Dishes were ‘Chicken’ based and in both dishes the chicken had died from old age. They were Chicken Thighs that were so tough a knife could cut through it and holding it in my chopsticks and trying to shred it with my teeth was impossible. Chewing the Chicken Thigh was a contest in trying to eat old boot leather of tractor tyres. The service was diabolical. I asked to order a cocktail, and was refused, I asked for a wine list and was refused, I asked for another bottle of beer and was refused. The initial knife and fork offered to my wife, still had the remanence of the previous user’s ‘meal’ engrained into the fork tangs and there was a faint image of lipstick still on the fork. The knife was dirty and stained having not been clean and dried properly. I stuck with the chop sticks at least they looked like they were hygienically wrapped. This was a complete waste of money for my daughter to have spent as a gift. Totally the worst restaurant that I have ever be conned into believing was going to be a delight. The Service was pathetic, the food was pathetic, and we could wait to get out. We left, under 30minutes, without 'experiencing the choice of two desserts' so disgusted with the experience offering they had just ‘served’. Absolutely awful and a disgrace would definitely suggest avoiding!

I bought a groupon voucher for two courses and a drink for two, to treat my cousin. Service was terrible and the food is absolutely awful. Ive eaten in many Vietnamese restaurants and this just does not compare, its the worst meal that I have had in years. Our food was inedible, and even after telling them that we could not eat the food, and they saw that the food was not eaten, there was no concern, a shrug of the shoulders and no attempt at all to rectify or offer an alternative. Seriously do not bother going! If I hadn't paid in advance with a voucher, I would not have paid at all, and I got the feeling that they couldn't care less because it had already been paid! Very unhappy!

Good food but 12.5% service charge is a bit much as dishes are not big and quite expensive. One of the dishes ordered was BÚN CHA HÀ NỘI and just realised we didn’t get the pork patties. That’s a bit disappointing.

Do not understand the positive reviews. I generally never leave reviews. We go out a fair bit and travel often. This though was well below par. Seats uncomfortable. Squashed together. Starter bland. Main, Pho noodles reminded me of the left over contents of a washing up bowl. Beef fatty, liquid flacid. Noodles meh. Barely got through 10%. Had a few really good Pho noodle elsewhere. Flavoursome and interesting. This was so poor. Partners main fatty too. Said starter (chicken wings) okay. Grabbed some street food straight after as starving! Shame.

Visited the restaurant and used a Buyagift voucher which gave us four courses and an alcoholic drink, in our case two beers. We got to pick two starters, a main and a dessert each. We then shared everything, except the dessert which was tiny! (But delicious) food was served hot, easy to use voucher, no issues and good value. It’s a very small restaurant upstairs where we sat, the staff are polite and friendly. The tables are close together but this did not bother us.

Visited here with a Virgin gift voucher. It is a small very traditional Vietnamese restaurant, that you could easily walk pass without noticing. We were warmly greeted, seated & voucher taken. It is fairly small upstairs & from what I remember from visiting Vietnam very traditional in its style. Food was fabulous & plenty of it. (Although not too keen on deserts,but then deserts are probably not that popular in Vietnam 🤔) Only reason it’s not a 5* is that the toilets (which are downstairs & stair very sticky carpets) could seriously do with some attention!!!

I recently visited Pho and Bun on Sunday, March 3rd, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. I felt compelled to share my concerns to shed light on the issues I encountered. Upon my arrival, I ordered a glass of wine and a beef pho. Shortly after placing my order, the manager, an Asian man with glasses, requested that I move to another table. Given the cramped space, this was inconvenient and challenging. My dissatisfaction heightened when I received a glass of wine noticeably below the 175ml line. When I questioned this, the manager responded aggressively, stating, "If you don't like it, you can leave!" while waving the menu in my face. As a lone female customer, I felt threatened and uneasy, prompting me to stay despite my discomfort. Furthermore, the £15 beef pho I ordered was disappointing. It lacked an adequate amount of beef and noodles, and the broth was notably flavorless. To add to the distress, the two girls sitting nearby witnessed the entire incident and opted to leave without placing an order due to the manager's shocking behavior. This experience has left me with a negative impression, and I regret to say that I will not be returning to Pho and Bun. I hope that my feedback can contribute to improvements in customer service and overall satisfaction.

We had 4 course voucher and it didn't disappoint. After reading some reviews I was a bit worried but the food was fabulous. We had spare ribs, chicken wings, squid with salt and chilli, fresh prawn wraps, pork and prawn spring rolls, BBQ pork with rice, spicy pho (soup) with beef slices, tofu with noodles and bao buns with pork. Dessert was coconut icecream with coffee or caramel flan (like creme caramel). Amazing meal, all of us enjoyed every course.

Came here after a recommendation and it is a popular place no doubt. But I'm mystified as to why? Crammed together on small stools with pretty poor service and average to poor food. I had the honey BBQ pork which was overcooked and tasteless, served with a mountain of overcooked boiled rice. My wife had a chicken rice bowl which she said was OK, but nothing special. Poor food, poor service, noisy, uncomfortable place. I don't see the attraction and I would not recommend.

Cosy retreat from the hustle and bustle of london busyness the staff were attentive and friendly and didnt hesitate to explain dishes we didnt understand and make recommendations to myself and my fianceé who both werent familiar with the style of food truely a little gem of a place 10/10 must be on your food bucketlist

Para ser Londres y en una calle céntrica, la relación calidad-precio es, más o menos, aceptable. Pese a que la carta es de comida vietnamita, lo que más abunda son hamburguesas preparadas al estilo de ese país. Lo que no nos gustó en absoluto fue el trato recibido por los camareros (bastante antipáticos, por lo menos, los dos que nos atendieron) que prácticamente te estresaban para que pidieras rápidamente, y te quitaban el plato en cuanto terminabas. Por otra parte, como el local es pequeño, en cuanto abrían la puerta, entraba una corriente polar que no hacía demasiado agradable estar comiendo allí. En fin, creo que, para comer, existen mejores opciones en esa misma calle, ya que cuando nos fuimos, vimos restaurantes cercanos más apetecibles, mejor decorados y de similar precio.

This would have been a 4/5 if it was purely on the food however when arrived the upstairs restaurant (small) looked lovely. We had made a booking, we were taking down the stairs and instantly were hit with the smell of urine from the toilets. I think they are aware it’s an issue as there was a diffuser on. I had bought the virgin experience for family members Christmas, I did offer them to leave as the smell was horrible. They were happy to stay. The service wasn’t bad but not very quick took a while for them to initially come over. The food was the saving Grace !! Gorgeous food but they must sort that smell out downstairs it’s disgusting xx

Really excellent food! We had the Virgin four courses with a bottle of wine for 2 (or 2 beers or soft drinks each). The food was all delicious and the service was great. The ribs were amazing as was the Vietnamese chicken curry which they were happy to swap to rice instead of vermicelli. Both the desserts offered were lovely, one was like a coconut affogato and the other was like a creme caramel with coffee. The service was fab, we had a lovely Portuguese waiter who was also the front of house host and he was brilliant! Our first experience of Vietnamese food and I’d definitely eat there again. Would recommend booking as it’s a small restaurant and there are queues outside to get in!!!

Came to P&B on a Virgin Experience voucher, booking the lunch as a prestart to a few days in the City. The place is only small with a number of covers, so I am pleased we booked. The service, food and atmosphere were really good. We had a four-course set meal, with the food being of ample size and really tasty. This was our first experience of Vietnamese food and we really enjoyed it. I think we will return when next in the area.

My adult daughter and I visited using a Buyagift voucher for 4 courses so on entry was given the Buyagift menu that had a good amount of choices and was simple to follow. Staff friendly. The restaurant is small and tables tight together - benches not chairs. The food itself was very tasty and portions large. The 4 instead of 5 stars was for the extremely dirty toilet and the broken restaurant entry door - we were right in front of the door so each time it opened, or was left opened it was very cold plus it didn't actually close fully anyway so there was a cold draft plus behind me was a plug socket that had holes around it which was letting a strong blast of cold air constantly through it. Perhaps we were just not on a good table because that aside we did enjoy ourselves.

A handy place to pop in for lunch when seeing a Shaftesbury Ave show, which was what we did! Delicious food, served quickly by a charming waitress. Good value as well. The summer roll starters were very good.

The place was small and we got lucky as 10minutes after we arrived there were no seats available, pho was okey it could have better broth, but the summer rolls were great, the sauce that comes with it was magical! It was a bit expensive but it’s London :)
