Arirang in City of London, Westminster

This is a restaurant I found in London. Kimchi stew, soft tofu stew, and beef bulgogi were delicious. I was hungry for Korean food, but I went in and ate it well. My 6th grade daughter ate half a bowl of kimchi stew because it was so delicious. We visited in the evening and the only Koreans in our family were foreigners, but they gave us extra side dishes because we were Korean. Thanks to you, I had a pleasant dinner.

I was a bit disappointed by the famous restaurants in London. Yesterday, I happened to be looking for a restaurant near my hotel. Very friendly, especially the food doesn't taste like seasoning. It was so, so delicious that I came here for dinner two nights in a row. We really need to spread this delicious Korean food in London. Even if I didn't know, if I was a little late, there would be no seats. Still, I hope all travelers like me who visit London know this.

Real Authentic Korean food not fusion. The side dishes, appetizers, and main dishes all tasted Korean and delicious. The music was good and had Korean songs. I went as a walk-in and was quickly shown to my seat. The servers were also friendly. I would like to introduce it to my foreign friends as well. 😃

It was so dirty. everything. And the old man who worked at the till was talking about all of customers in Korean. I could understand what he said and it was really disgusting and he was so rude.

The best restaurant in London! It's different from other London restaurants that only imitate. Even compared to Korea, this restaurant is great :) Not a waste of money!!

My friend and I had a lunch there 2 weeks ago and were seated in the spacious table. The waiting staff offered a very friendly service and the lunch set was good vaule for money. The food was tasty as well.

Best Korean Restaurant! Especially the Budae Jjigae Kkanpunggi BBQ is delicious. The part-time workers are also friendly. One thing that is disappointing is that it is a bit expensive.

The amount of food that you get for the set menus are huge, all of the different dishes were amazing. Easy to use service to order the food directly to the table.

Food was excellent soup amazing

Our favourite Korean Restaurant in London We have been coming to this establishment for the past 10+ years and each time the food, service and atmosphere is always on point. The managers really care and you can see the effort they put to ensure each and every dish arrives at their expectation. We highly recommend the seafood pancake and chapchae (glass noodles), soup and of course the Korean BBQ - Short ribs being our favourite. I would recommend for families, dates and at the rear / lower level they have space to host larger groups for a unique experience. There is a reason Arirang has remained here despite the growing number of Korean restaurants in the area, a must try if you visit London.

Nous sommes tombé par hasard sur ce restaurant, et que dire…. Commençons par l'accueil, qui est très bien, le serveur nous a directement trouvé une table, il y a des option Halal dans le menu. Nous avons pris un barbecue coréen, plus du poulet avec du fromage râpé. Nous avons était déçu de la quantité de viande, on avait a peu près 300g de viande pour 2 personnes, mais elle était très bonne, il avait des accompagnement qui était pas mal, j'ai vue aussi une des serveuse du restaurant nous regarder très mal…, on était vraiment mal à l'aise, et faite attention nous avons eu 13% de commission dans la facture, donc faites vraiment attention.

The food portion was a joke! The picture below was a £44.99 worth of BBQ meat platter, which can hardly cover a medium plate. We were shocked by the portion, and loads of smoke during the BBQ process. Starter not even served after the BBQ was finished. This place is a complete scam please do not go.

쇼핑중 지나가다 우연히 본 한식당이였습니다. 한국인에게 한식 놓칠 수 없어 들어왔다가 맛집을 발견했어요 ㅠㅠ 사장님은 물론 직원분들도 다 유쾌 친절하시고 음식맛은 말할것도 없이 너무 맛있습니다. 또 런던에 방문한다면 무조건 들릴 맛집입니당. 완전 추천!!!

간만에 한국에서 방문한 가족들 모시고 구경간 런던 시내에서 맘 편히 식사했던 한식당. 서빙하시는 한국 남자분 되게 친절하시고, 종류별로 주문한 bbq도 직접 다 구워 주셔서 영국 놀러오신 가족분들께 잘 대접한 기분이 들어 더 감사했습니다…^^* (한국도 요즘 불친절하고 턱없이 비싼 식당 많아서 식당가기 싫다고 하는데… 여기가 한국보다 더 친절하다고 하시네요~~) 특히 양념 치킨은 뉴몰든 닭집보다 훨씬 싸고 더 맛있었음! Bbq 너무 많이 먹고 양념 치킨 남아서 집에 포장해 왔는데, 다음 날 식은 치킨 그냥 먹어도 맛있어서 더 놀람!!! (강추) 추운 늦 가을에 수박이 후식으로 나와 쫌 신기했음!!!

The food was superbly tasty! Kimchi is a must! I very much love the Kimchi soup, too! It was the best one I have ever had in ages. Very generous and friendly staff! The quality of the food is excellent, and the price is affordable.

Wow the kalbi is delicious and they cook for you. The tongue is a bit chewy. And no free side dishes which is odd for a Korean restaurant. You will smell like kbbq, as there are no vents.

갈비탕 국물이 순대국밥 국물 맛이 남! 생각한 갈비탕 맛은 아니였지만 순대국밥맛? 오히려좋아 밑반찬도 주시고 후식도 주심! 밑반찬 존맛 ㅜ 근데 국물류 시킬 때 밥 따로 +£3.00 해야되는게 쫌 아쉬웠음 비싸게 느껴짐 ㅜ 포함이였으면 더 좋았을듯!

recently came here for a bday meal with friends and the staff were really friendly and attentive! the bbq meat is good quality and delicious, so are other dishes such a Kimchi pancake and vegetable sides. the vibe is quite homey and quiet which is great for an intimate meal with friends n family as a hard to please foodie this place definitely checks all the boxes and ill be coming back again

Amazing staff, super friendly and wonderful service. The food was delicious I just wish we had been able to do the KBBQ ourselves so we could’ve kept the 삼겹살 hotter and crispier! Absolutely loved it though. 정말 감사합니다 아리랑식당!

미국사는데 친지 방문차 런던 지금까지 4차례 방문 했는데 매 올때마다 최소 2번 이상 일부러 들려 점심이나 저녁식사를 꼭 함. 이런 한식 맛집이 런던에 있어 깜짝 놀랐음. 밋반찬(김치, 오이무침,숙주나물) 다 맛있고, 고기구이 맛있고 (차돌배기추천 생갈비는없고 양념갈비있음) 탕종류도 (육개장, 갈비탕, 우거지 갈비탕) 맛이 정말 훌륭했음. 한인이 더많이사는 내가사는 미국 대도시(미중서부)에도 이정도 퀄리티 한식당 없음. 주말 예약 안하면 기다려야함 (런던 쇼핑/관광지에 위치함). 외국손님 많음. 반찬과 밥 따로 차지 유념하시고. 그러나 충분한 값어치 있다고 생각 함. 처음본 사장님 사모님 너무 너무 친절, 멀리서 왔다고 공짜반찬들 챙겨줌. 열무김치맛도 정말 최상. 미국돌아가서도 생각 날 식당. 다음번 또 런던오면 다시 꼭 또 방문 할 식당. (참고로 런던 서버브 한인타운 H마트 (런던시내에서 기차타고 한 1시간) 부근 제법 알려진것 같은 한식당에서 식사 해봄. 그러나 아리랑과 비교 않됨). 런던 옥스포드서커스역 부근 아리랑 아주 바빠 기분 좋았고 (같은 동포의 마음으로) 계속 대박 나세요.

Decent Korean restaurant in the heart of Soho! Enjoyed my dinner there and the taste of my cold noodles, although the sliced beef in there was just very tough and over cooked, but the broth was nice and the noodles had great chewiness. The tteokbokki were flavourful and a bit too spicy for me but I know it was fine for my friends! The fried chicken was a bit over cooked to me, the flavour was there but the texture just wasn’t the best I’ve had. And then kimchi pancakes was good when you picked the side bits that were crispy, but the middle ones were a bit too thick in my opinion.

Dining at Arirang restaurant was a great experience from start to finish. I was impressed by the warm invitation of the staff. The staff here were really nice but won’t get full 5 stars for the service as they let me sit and order online with no conversation or asking if everything was ok, etc. Every dish I tried was a perfect taste and quantity. The flavors were both authentic and exquisite, a true testament to the skill of the chefs. Beautifully presented, the Korean barbecue offered a unique and interactive evening. The variety of options on the menu ensured that there was something for everyone, from vegetarians to meat lovers. The attention to detail in each dish was evident, and the quality of ingredients was top-notch. It’s an ideal place for a day time meal, a gathering with friends, or a special celebration, but not really a romantic place. The restaurant’s decor and lighting was a bit dated but still clean and functional. I would definitely return and savor more of the foods here, especially the spicy mushrooms, yum!.

Great place for Korean BBQ and Korean food. It is a self service restaurant where you’d order by scanning the QR code on the allocated table. Once ordered, they will serve the food and cook your BBQ for you. Service is good.

Vi var her for en bursdagsfeiring.De var raske med maten, men litt forstyrrende at kelneren henger over deg for å steke maten slik at du føler at du spiser inne i armhulen hans.Etter måltidet måtte to i følget gå, da begynte kelnerne å dekke av noe vi fant veldig forstyrrende. Vi spurte om de trengte bordet, det gjorde de ikke sa de.Vi likte ikke deres overivrige oppmerksomhet mot bordet vårt, de tok av glass som ikke var tomme og spurte om vi skulle ha mer av maten. Nei, vi fant ingen matro her dessverre.

Todo el lugar estaba muy limpio, los procedimientos de Covid perfectamente en el lugar y todo el ambiente allí era tan agradable, acogedor y relajante. Sus baños olían y daban la impresión de que era un lugar de spa, nunca vi algo así. Teníamos entrantes, platos principales y al final obtuvimos la sorpresa de un melón realmente refrescante como postre. Precios: increíbles, realmente baratos. Toda nuestra comida era súper fresca y deliciosa. ¡Definitelly regresando! ! !

Fui a almorzar la semana pasada y pedí una barbacoa y sopa de frijoles. ¡Estaban deliciosos! El restaurante estaba muy limpio con partición de prevención de covid. El camarero fue muy atento, amable y cortés. Aunque un poco caro para el tamaño de las porciones, recomendaría este restaurante.

I was here for an early dinner and ordered the ginseng chicken in soup. It's a classic Korean dish and Arirang did a good job with its version. Service was attentive and friendly. It's a good option for Korean good in the oxford st area.

Had a nice meal here one evening recently. The restaurant is quite small and cosy, with friendly staff. The food itself was well presented, very tasty. I particularly liked the complimentary fruit at the end of the meal.

I ate here recently with a friend on a Saturday evening. The restaurant was quite busy but the service was nonetheless friendly and efficient. There's a wide range of Korean dishes on the menu, and the food is very good quality, although the drinks prices are a bit high. This wasn't my first visit and I'm sure that I'll be going back.

Mi comida favorita es la coreana y una de las pocas cosas que siempre pruebo es la especialidad de la casa "kimchi", no me decepcionó en este restaurante. Pedí carne de vaca dol bibimbap y sogogi dup bap y ambos platos estaban deliciosos y también probé el tradicional sikhye (bebida de arroz dulce) y fue absolutamente refrescante. En general, este lugar está lleno de verdaderos sabores coreanos.

¿Quieres comer algo especial? Tal vez un kimchi picante con salsas picantes o un poco de carne de res. Este restaurante te hará lamer los labios sin parar. Le recomiendo que coma en el restaurante, para los niños reciben dulces gratis cada vez que comen bien.

Went in without booking and they were very welcoming to us with smile and restaurant was very busy with Koreans as well as all nationalities.I’m half Korean so have eaten lots of Korean food all my life & do cook at home occasionally for my partner but as he hasn’t eaten all Korean food we went for their best set meal and it was lovely as we could both have bit of everything that Korean food is all about.Our Waitress was so lovely with great service.Definitely go again when we are in London.

Une bonne adresse où je suis allé dîner pour le réveillon de Noël 2019. C’est le plus ancien restaurant coréen de Londres. J’ai apprécié le barbecue intégré dans la table, le décor cosy et la courtoisie du personnel. Les tarifs sont assez chers par rapport aux quantités proposées, mais on y mange bien. J’y retournerai avec plaisir.

Por recomendación de un amigo coreano, decidí reservar una cena de despedida para algunos amigos griegos. Me sentí como en casa desde el principio, el dueño es muy dulce y amable, los camareros brindaron un buen servicio y la comida OMG OMG, el mejor restaurante coreano que he probado hasta la fecha. Me encantó la barbacoa las pequeñas salsas, la variedad de platos. Seguramente volveré de nuevo. Lo que también mejoró la confianza fue que la gran mayoría de los clientes eran coreanos, por lo que habla por sí solo.

Ran into this place while walking around London. Fantastic place. Their bulgogi and sogogi dup bap were very delicious. Service was courteous and efficient and they cared about the customer experience.

Food, well BBQ anyway, was out of this world. So were the chopped onions and the souce/paste that was served along.

Nous avons pris un menu pour deux (des grillades) et avons bien mangé. Le personnel est très poli les plats sont arrivés très rapidement. Ensuite le personnel était souvent présent pour nettoyer notre grill entre chaque viande et nous a donné de bons conseils de dégustation à la mode Coréenne. Plusieurs viandes, des sauces, des légumes, quelques découvertes intéressantes et de bons souvenirs en somme.

We were looking for a new Korean option in London after Dotori has lost its original owners and we decided to try this place. Well, a Korean friend warned me that there are no decent Korean places to eat in London and boy is she right!

Came here on a Saturday night, was quite empty which was surprising but we wanted kbbq and got a grill table so didnt complain!

Been there for the 5th time and not even let down once. Highly recommended to anyone who is looking for good Korean food with bbq option. Staff are well polite and friendly as well.

焼肉が食べたくてロンドンで初めて焼肉屋さんへ。コリアンバーベキューということで、お肉は店員さんが焼いてくれるのでとっても楽！念願のカルビ、牛タン、サムギョプサル、プルコギなどなど、久しぶりの焼肉を堪能しました。日本のレベルの高い焼肉を求めると普通ですが、お値段もリーズナブルだし、居心地もよく満足です。7時半を過ぎると満席になり、店内で待つ人もチラチラ見かけたので、早めに入店するか、予約するのがおすすめです。

Me and my boyfriend went casually in this chorean restaurant and we didn’t ever tried chorean cuisine. The staff was very kind and entertaining. We chose the menu set C which was a combination of different plates served in succession. The menu was very abundant and the noodles and teryaki chicken were the best I ever tried!

Very tasty traditional Korean food. The daily menu with the small appetiser, soup and rice was a great deal.

La barbacoa coreana permite tener un momento agradable alrededor de una parrilla común integrada en la mesa según la tradición. En Arirang, encontrará una carne que parece una buena calidad para disfrutar de la experiencia, el propietario parece conocer bien su trabajo y el servicio es bastante bueno. Comparado con otros, dice que está fuera de un proceso de gran cadena y ha sido suya desde hace bastante tiempo. No esperes ir allí por menos de 30 a 40 si eres un buen comensal y te gusta una pequeña bebida. Pero compartiendo con amigos y tomando una cerveza simple, puede salirse con 20-30 y la comida permanecer bien en mis estándares de barbacoa coreanos (el precio es casi igual al de Londres sin tener que ir a direcciones de lujo). El restaurante es bastante tranquilo, ya que no es muy grande en comparación con muchos lugares de Londres y mantiene un ambiente sencillo alejado de la locura del circo de Oxford que está cerca.

Had a wonderful shared meal with Korean friends at lunch today. Those of us who were not experts allowed our friends to choose the dishes and it was amazing.

This was honestly the best restaurant I’ve been to in terms of the food. The flavour and seasonings in their meat are absolutely spectacular! The staff are also very accommodating as my partners and I only managed to arrive 1hr before closing, they allowed us to order over the phone whilst we were en route so our food came out within minutes of us arriving. I loved the live cooking of our food in front of us as well! Would definitely go again and I would highly recommend anyone to go!

Tenía la carne cruda Yook HWE-800 (con pera y pepino), papá tenía el tofu, y ambos vinieron chili a menos de 10 minutos de hacer el pedido, junto con el kimchi arroz frito que pedimos para compartir. Ambos estaban deliciosos, y sin duda vamos a ser mis amigos para comer demasiado, y la selección de música también era genial!

Best Korean I’ve had in London. Most of the bad reviews complain about price, presumably from tourists, normal London prices... I went with my wife we shared a starter, three main courses and a bottle of wine for £80.... food was amazing. The thin stripped raw beef bibimbap was outstanding. Go and enjoy...

Este restaurante ofrece una amplia variedad de comida tradicional coreana, incluyendo Kimchee Bibimbap, mariscos, picante/Pancake Tteok - bokki (fritos, pasteles de arroz) con ramen, sopa, japchae con ginseng barbacoa picante pollo, cerdo, pollo frito picante del vientre, y aperitivo de algas. Tuvimos platos como se muestra en las fotos, y acabé bastante completo. :) cada uno de nosotros pagamos alrededor de £25, que es un precio razonable para la comida coreana en Londres. La copa es bebida pedí ponche de arroz, que es coreano dulce pero interesante.

No me malinterpretéis, no es un mal restaurante. La comida es sabrosa, aunque nada espectacular. No es su culpa que el olor de la comida tarda más de una ronda de limpieza en seco para eliminar.

Mid Range, value for money, tasty Korean dishes. Good varied menu, I really enjoyed my Kimchi and it was great to have other options to the usual barbecue style.

Visited this restaurant with two other friends - great Korean food however the price is definitely a bit too much (we spent about £45 per head) for this level

Pedimos el Bu Dae Jeongol y sabía como ningún sabor. No es picante o lo suficientemente amarga. También pedimos un crepe de mariscos y fideos fritos luego cuesta como 70 libras. Ninguno de esos alimentos está muy bien hecho. Es demasiado caro para la comida normal como eso.

Mi amigo y amor comida coreana y así están haciendo en todos los restaurantes de barbacoa coreana en Londres. Nos mostraron una mesa en el sótano, el servicio era lento, el tamaño de las porciones eran pequeñas, y el extractor de aire ventilador no debe haber sido trabajar como era tan humo que nuestros ojos estaban deliciosos. No fue una gran experiencia y no volveremos.

Vicino alla fermata metropolitana di Oxford Circus in questo ristorante è possibile gustare pietanze della cucina asiatica, in particolare quella coreana. I tavoli sono dotati al centro di un barbecue su cui vengono arrostiste le carni o i pesci presenti nel menù. Abbiamo preso dei noodles, spaghetti di riso con verdure, ed un misto di carni e pesci alla brace, gamberi e calamari. Il tutto accompagnato da un vino francese il beaujolais villane, che abbiamo preferito al sakè. Alla fine del pasto ci hanno offerto della frutta sbucciata e presentata in maniera coreografica. Buono ed efficiente il servizio, i prezzi con vino compreso sono intorno alle trenta sterline che per Londra non sono alti.

김치찌개 진짜 진하고 맛있습니다. 다른 한식당처럼 기본 반찬은 안나옵니다만 김치찌개랑 소불고기 시켰을때 양이 조금일까 걱정했는데 그런 걱정 안해도 됩니다. 진짜 맛있었어요. 지하도 있고 넓어요.

Ci siamo passate per caso con mia figlia e abbiamo deciso di fermarci. Ottimo ristorante, un po’ caro il barbecue rispetto alla porzione ma ne vale la pena. Ambiente accogliente ma senza pretese.
