Phat Buns (Evington) in Leicester

Ordered from uber eats. Delivery time 60 mins. We were ok with. 90 minutes later tried call several times and no answer. Finally 2 hours later our food arrived and was stone cold. Couldn't eat as the cheese sauce had made everything awful. Granted your busy but don't accept the Ordered of you can't keep up with them.

My slenders in the burger were the size of my little finger, they must have ran out of slaw as well because that was missing. This place has lost it...never again !!

we accidentally made the wrong order at Sheffield instead of rowlatts and a young man tried his best to help us with contact support as the one in Sheffield would reply and offered us two free drinks as an apology behalf of Sheffield as we lost £10

The sesame seed sauce is delicious with the chicken wings the burger was nice. The drink selection is brilliant.

Last time I ordered was in 2020 and the food arrived burnt, 5 years later ordering in 2025, it appears not much has changed. The burger was disgusting. Serves me right for thinking they may have improved!

WORST FOOD EVER. Absolutely awful food, had the box meal it was cold. Overcooked and tastless. I took one bite and threw it away. Mac and cheese was not edible. Chips were dry and chicken oily

Ordered through uber eats our order was wrong complained to uber and them over the phone no one who works here can speak actual ENGLISH my wife ordered a chocolate brownie which came with hairs in the brownie food hygiene rating of 5? I highly doubt it be cautious when ordering drastically disappointed i will not be ordering again and i will be telling other people to avoid also

Place was not busy at all and they still managed to mess my order up. Missed the tots in my order and I asked to put the sauce separately for the wings but they dint add the sauce to my order. My wings had a raw piece inside. I called them to complain and they could not understand my problem and had no idea how to rectify this issue.

Ordered for the first time and was really disappointed with the meal. The food itself is not that great and lacks flavour, they even managed to get one of items wrong. Raised the wrong item issue with the delivery company, they provided a small refund but the whole meal was ruined.

Ordered a take out here a few times now, plenty of cheerful staff for a speedy service, food has always been great, good quality with generous portions! 👍🏻

Me and my family loves Phat Buns. We have never had an issue with the food, and the service is amazing, too. The beef burger and potatoe tots are to die for, and my daughter loves the jalapeno, cheese bites. The drink selection is reallllllllyyyyy good too. Xx

Absolutely discusting I ordered from uber and the picture looked amazing with a beef patty and a brisket patty and cheese, when I received the order I got only one normal 2OZ beef patty with no brisket and no cheese and a horrible excuse for coleslaw will not be ordering from them ever again.

Food arrived cold! And I man cold not warm COLD! Spoke with manager who wasn’t helpful in the slightest!!! Left with a cold order food was left sitting on the counter ready for collection for a long period of time.

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE WORST FOOD EVER Chicken strips are frozen with drizzled sauce on They give you about 10 chips nothing loaded about them & the worst watery pasta can’t even call it mac and cheese they charge 6.99 for a tiny pot of watery mess absolutely abysmal, & the burgers are small and dry, do not waste your money here

I'm giving it 5 starts because majority of the time it is excellent but you always get the one off like my last order of bao buns which was very underwhelming. Buns weren't the usual soft texture and the sauce was almost non existent.

You have to try new places I guess. Competition amongst burger restaurants is high. This place is going to struggle unless it improves. Barely better than McDonald’s. Poor filling, anemic burger. Couldn’t see the chicken tenders for the tons of sauce. Coupled with the 3/5 on hygene means I won’t be ordering again

Ordered food via uber waited 1 hour which is normal for this place. Kids were starving and waiting, but to my complete disappointment the kids food was missing!! Tried calling branch 79 times but they did not answer 😒 disgusting service. Had to request refund from uber but the kids had nothing to eat as my food was too spicy. Complete disappointment. I ordered the lunch meal which was £10, a standard size. The burger was okay, the crinkle fries were cold but there were a lot of them and the cola was rather small and leaked on the way. This meal was the highlight. I ordered the wings in garlic parmesan for £13.40 for 8 which is a pretty steep price - these were cold and quite frankly disgusting. They were hot wings, slightly stale tasting with garlic powder sprinkled on top. Two stars for the burger and fries being edible, if it was just the wings it'd be 0

Corn ribs have changed, CANNOT GET THEM CRISPY. I didn't get a full refund. burger was perfect though.

Used to really like this place, we put an order in over the phone, the shop called me to confirm and said 7:30 for collection. I got there and was told 10 minutes. A good 25 minutes later the food was finally ready. Disappointingly the tots were cold, chips cold and burgers like warm. Don’t think I’ll bother again, for the prices they are charging the service should be a lot better

Pricey for what it is, and the food takes a while to prepare. But food always tastes consistently good.

I recently tried the Spicy Buffalo Burger at Phatttttt Bunnnn, and it was quite disappointing. The burger featured a ready-made patty that was fried and dipped in buffalo sauce, and it cost around £10. Additionally, they don't offer meal deals after 5 o'clock, so you have to purchase the drink and chips separately for an additional £4.50. The total came to £14.50, which is not worth the price for what you get. In contrast, some of the best burgers I've had are from Boo Burger and Grizler in Leicester. For this experience, I'd give Phatttttt Bunnnn just 1 star.

I've never eaten in, but have got takeaway from here several times. Their burgers are always amazing and my son absolutely loves the little potato tots. This time we also got some chicken wings to try and they were perfect. Nice, big and juicy with the perfect crunch and flavourings. Halal food.

I used to really love Phat Buns but in the last year to 18 months, things have slipped which is disappointing. My latest order was yesterday, the s'mores milkshake arrived having not been sealed properly, so it had spilt in the bag. The food bag seal was ripped and there were no staples in the bag to secure it more firmly closed. The Mac & Cheese has increased from £3.50 to £6.99 and is such a small portion, definitely NOT worth the price! The fish patty was overcooked and the burger costs £10.20 which is outrageous because it's so small! The skins on fries were well overcooked!

I had the cheetos burger upgraded to 6oz and mrs had the limited edition Rib Sandwich! Burger and the Sandwich were delicious… just melted in the mouth, bursting with flavours! One of the best smash burgers in Leicester! get the sandwich before it’s gone! Restaurant was clean, staff friendly and food prepped fresh and cooked to perfection! Definitely visit again!

Had the Cheetos beef burger, fries, & chicken wings. The fries were hollow but edible. The wings were ok, my fault really as I should have asked them not to drown them in sauce and dipped instead. The burger was really juicy, toppings were fresh but I wasn't a huge fan of the Cheetos.

Food is here is banging and the staff are lovely too!!! Must try

I went back after a few months and all i can say is this place is amazing! The cheetos burger was perfect and had a kick to it due to the flamin hot cheetos spice and the soft beef patty that melts in your mouth with every bite. The loaded chips were nice and saucy and went well with the southern fried chicken in them. Wide variety of fanta and coke slushes availble to cool your mouth from the cheetos and the service and time taken to recieve my food was fast and efficient and food was fresh! Overall i would give this place a much improved 5 stars and if i could go higher i would. Well done to the phat buns team for making me look forward to the next time im back.

Vinain and Abisheck made uus some amazing food. We went for the 8oz burgers with tater tots. Order was done to the individual requests. We got 15 wings with three flavours - all were amazing. Thanks for making this now my fav go to burger wings spot
