I particularly loved the crispy bacon on tge menu. What I got was entirely different. When I complained, the guy at the counter said "so do you want it free?" I said, no I just wanted to tell you it wasn't crispy bacon. He then said "so how much do you want to pay." It became an uncomfortable confrontation with attitude. Stay away! Was it me? Was I wrong? Was this crispy? A sorry could have been so much better.

it was BRILLIANT!!! metrocentre is a very tiring place,and it exhausts you with all the shopping. petite delice is a welcoming restaurant with many amazing staff,(especially ela bozdogan!!). i was served a tuna panini, and some red velvet cake. even though its from costco😒😒😒. BUT ANYWAYS, i highly recommend this place..🎉🎉🎉🥳🥳👯‍♀️👯‍♀️

AVOID!!!!! Extremely poor, ordered a baguette which was burnt and had hardly any filling. Infact it was supposed to be bacon and brie and i couldn’t taste either. Very strange atmosphere aswell.

Greeted and served by a very pleasant lady. The coffee was nice and the scones were delicious. Would definitely recommend.

After a knackering shopping trip I suggested we stop for coffee and a savoury bite to recover. Petit delice had at best three tables in. We took a seat up on the balcony as there was a large sign saying it was waitress service and to take a seat. We read the menu and picked our order out, I browsed my phone. Noticed another family come in and sit down and get served. The guy then walked off and ignored us We voted with our feet and left after ten minutes waiting to be then ignored in Costa as well. What a day. Nil points!

Great staff very helpful very friendly. Staff have a great sense of humour food is lovely and if anything is wrong they are very apologetic and will sort it out straight away. Would reccomend this place to anyone also child friendly

Dined here with my family today and the service was great, breakfasts were lovely and the portion sizes were just enough! All staff were so lovely and welcoming! I will definitely be back- Thank you

Absolutely fantastic little cafe shop food is delicious and to a high standard and the waitress and waiter's are brilliant polite and always helpful. Plus it was clean and tidy and a great atmosphere

I was starving so me and my friend went to petit delice do to food. I got a stale jacket potato with a few slivers of cold corned beef on it. She got a sausage sandwich which looked like it had been made by a toddler. Absolute joke. Do not go

Visited with my husband and daughter yesterday . We all ordered the all day breakfast, mine without beans, the lovely waitress offered a replacement for the beans, which I declined,however an extra sausage was added anyway. Everything perfectly cooked and we all enjoyed our meal. Efficient friendly waitress and lovely cook/ owner. Obviously care about their customers. We were sitting near the counter, and while we were there every single customer complemented the food , (at least 6) while they were paying. We will definitely eat here on future visits to the Metro centre. Thank you.

100% recommend visiting!! all the staff were lovely and so sweet!! the food was excellent and we will definitely be coming back again! the whole place had a friendly welcoming atmosphere which is just what you want!! i’d definitely recommend popping in if you’re in the metro!!

A beautiful hidden gem at the metro, honestly started to hate the restaurants at the metro there over rated and well over priced and this place is the opposite. Lovely staff and very attentive, you can tell this place was made with love. Soup of the day was delicious as well as the cheesecake we had to share I’ll definitely be coming back. Seemed to have some regulars and older customers. Located in a quiet spot and a perfect place to have tea and cake. Thank you for a lovely visit x

Went yesterday at 12.30 the café was empty - got a seat no problem the lady came over and told us we would have to wait possibly 30 minutes to be served as they were busy, I said you don't look busy but she said the staff haven't had a break, what so they all take it in the middle of a busy lunch time. We should have walked out but we didn't the 30 minutes then went to 45 minutes she wouldn't even bring us a cup of tea or clean the table. If the guy running around flapping his arms around like Basil Faulty actually did some work and if she had made cups of tea instead of apologising to everyone then maybe people would have stopped to eat. Utter shambles and they weren't even doing the help out eat out - my advice DONT GO THERE!!

Enjoyed a light lunch here. Tuna melt was really good and the service very relaxed. Good little spot to watch the world go by. Reasonably priced too.

Visited this place last tuesday and will not be returning! I ordered a corned beef and onion toasted sandwich worst ever!!! I only wish I had taken a photo to pass onto the Trading Standards it was an absolute disgrace. How these people are still in business is beyond belief. The filling was like a couple of razor thin spots of corned beef which had to been seen! My husband and I actually had a good giggle at the cheek of these people. Don't go.

Fantastic service from walking in, the lady was absolutely great with my little boy. Thoroughly enjoyed our jacket potatoes/omelette. Would definitely recommend and definitely come back! Thank you

I visited this cafe dor a light lunch with my son. It was busy - not full - and the waitress was racing about. The chap behind the counter wasnt helping - there seemed to be total confusion. Worst part - my "warmed" cheese scone was heated to ruination.Best point - the waitress was "touchy feely friendly" Italian - which I like.

It is the first time and I took a friend from the south for a treat. The two breakfasts were served with hash browns which had obviously gone off. They were bitter and grey inside. Complaint made and no charge for the breakfast. But astoundingly they served breakfast to a table behind us after our complaint and served the hash browns again which were off....my tea cake I didn't eat all of ,was somewhat burnt. Never again.

Greeted by the owner/manager- who took control of my wheelchair, pushing my partner away when they intervened and ignoring our requests to let go. Service after that was slow and indifferent, food was crap. Absolutely not worth the money. In particular the BLT that was served as a barely cooked bacon baguette- everything else in a heap on the side. The bill, once we managed to ask for it, was shouted at me from the counter. Truly somewhere to never return.

We arrived and were there first customers of the day. Friendly welcome and quick service. We had 2 mozzarella and tomato panini’s and chicken and stuffing baguette. 2 orangina and Pepsi. Would certainly return.

Went here today for a light lunch, first time I’ve visited this cafe. We ordered a cold baguette with tuna sweetcorn & spicy mayo, also a hot panini with the same filling with a bowl of potato wedges. The tuna filling was awful really bitter tasted like it had either vinegar or lemon juice in it and to much of whatever it was! I scraped all the filling out and ate the crusty roll only. The hot panini was not as bad however when we opened the panini there was very little filling in it? The potato wedges were nice enough, sorry I won’t be visiting here again in future.

Passing this nice looking little cafe in the Village area of the Metrocentre and being rather thirsty, popped in for a drink. It specialises in continental snacks & delicacies and it appears to have genuine French staff which helps the authenticity.Choosing a couple of bottles from the chiller, I took them to the counter. The chap commented that they weren’t cold so would change them.Nice touch, but little did I expect the bottles to be changed for two glasses of a similar drink being poured from a carton.It was ok but not what we selected.Quirky French influenced decor and layout which includes a lovely little bridge between the lower and upper sitting areas. Popped in here for a quick snack; it wasn't busy being midweek. I ordered a cheese toastie and a coffee. The coffee was piping hot and not luke warm like other cafes I've visited, tasted nice too. Cheese toastie was rather flat (thin bread) and served with salad. It was alright, I didn't have any complaints. I did notice however, that the staff were rather miserable. Costs nowt to smile now and again. I'd call again if passing.

Went here for an early lunch or late brunch. We all ordered the all day breakfast, mainly because the menu writing is so small even with my glasses on I struggled to make out other items. The breakfasts themselves were very nice, small portions of everything, but tasty. The biggest let down and my reason for 3 stars was the service. We asked for tea for 3 with the teabags left out as we prefer weak tea. The tea arrived with 3 bags in and a smaller pot of hot water. Even quickly scooping the teabags out the tea needed the full pot of hot water plus another. When I asked the waitress for the second pot of hot water, she actually turned and walked away while I was still talking to her. All the staff gave the impression we were intruding on their time and space. Needless to say we will not be returning. Had the food not been tasty it would have gotten 1 star.

I honestly can’t personally understand the bad reviews of this place. I visit the Metrocentre regularly and I always pay a visit often taking my elderly nana who also loves it!

We found this place and thought hmm good for a quick snack and not too busy, maybe it was the 80s decor???

Decidimos tomar dos de mis hijas para café y tarta. Cartel en la puerta de dicho servicio de mesa, así que nos sentamos y nos sentamos, no hay camareros! Fui al hasta sólo para ser preguntó si todo estaba bien me señaló que no había sido atendida, pero había sido sentado esperando. Me dijeron que la camarera despertaba era por su propia cuenta, no decir que si era demasiado problema que podía ir a otro sitio.

Buscando un aperitivo ligero y nos gustó la distribución. Dice el servicio de mesa, así que nos sentamos.

Buscando un lugar para comer a un precio razonable, encontramos este lugar escondido de la zona principal, el servicio era excelente, con una camarera amable y un caballero que posiblemente era el propietario o gerente. Nos sirvieron rápidamente, los precios eran razonables y disfrutamos de nuestro desayuno durante todo el día con una enorme taza de té.

Visited yesterday - briefly! Location was lovely, we entered the cafe and the sign said take a seat and waitress service! We decided to sit outside on the littler terrace. It wasn't busy - just about 3 tables were taken - the majority of the others had dishes on them. The waiter passed us as we sat down. Passed us again to deliver some food to the table opposite. Passed us again and then we knew there was not really much point sitting there any longer. Another couple had just got up and left too. We had been there over ten minutes and ignored. Plenty other nice places to eat in the metro centre!

Petit Delice es un lugar muy agradable para una comida ligera a cualquier hora del día. Hay un buen menú, tuve el desayuno durante todo el día de hoy y fue excelente.

El personal es alegre, pero la comida es muy decepcionante. Pedí una sandwichera y mi pareja pidió un panini.

Visited this for the first time today and was very disappointed by the quality of the food. We had soup of the day (vegetable) which was served hot but was poorly seasoned and tasted of very overcooked cabbage. Portion size was mercifully small!! My daughter...

eran tiendas en el centro del metro y tuve un antojo para las judías en tostadas y un huevo frito Después de probar unas cuantas cafeterías (que no tostadas, o no tenían pan y sólo podía ofrecer un teacake) decidimos ir aquí! Sólo tenían huevos en pan tostado o judías en tostadas en el menú, pero pedí tostada con huevo y frijoles y el lo hizo por mí. Frijoles eran increíbles ... como literalmente no soy uno a algo tan sencillo como complemento de alubias normalmente, aunque estas últimas sabía muy bien, y se dio en el clavo. los huevos estaba preparado exactamente lo que había pedido. Partner sólo optamos por unas tostadas y una taza de té. Nos sentamos en la pequeña terraza y éramos los únicos ... minuto siguiente casi cada mesa estaba lleno!

Petit Delice es una gran cafetería en el metro Centre, el personal es amable y eficiente. Teníamos una taza de té por 2, pastas danesas y un bollo de queso. Nos sirvieron rápidamente y fue una gran relación calidad-precio.

Así que mi madre y yo estábamos muertos en un viaje de compras y no podría convenir en un lugar para comer, así que fuimos al sitio más cercano que por desgracia estaba aquí.

I was bowled over with the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff. When my wife spent more than a couple of seconds searching the litte bowl containing sugar, etc. a very polite foreign man appeared from nowhere and asked if he could help asking if we needed sweetener. No sooner than he appeared he vanished and returned with sweetener..After that I watched him milling about the tables being equally as attentive with everyone else.When I went to the counter to pay I noticed the size of the pastries, they were massive. If I had known that earlier I would have ordered one!This little place has far better customer service than several, so called, high class establishments I have dined at recently.

Daughter was hungry so we headed towards a cafe that is no longer there in metrocentre! instead stumbled on this little gem. Daughter demolished a cheese scone, proclaiming it yummy, I had a baguette as did the hub.Lovely friendly, genuinely friendly, staff, even provided a cloth to get the jam off the youngster. Will certainly go back, an inexpensive impromptu lunch.

Situated in "The Village" this delightful restaurant serves good food; the staff are very friendly but we waited quite a while for our food, although to be fair, it was quite busy. Would not put me off going again when next visiting the Metro Centre.

After having spent time shopping in the metro centre we didn't expect to wait 40 minutes for sandwiches to be served! I appreciate it was a bank holiday (which we were reminded of) but there were tables empty and it wasn't overly busy! Drinks were ordered and were dutifully brought. Then the waitress took our order..... There were only three of us and it wasn't complicated! The same waitress came back 20 minutes later to ask us if we'd ordered food! A bit dismayed we made it known not only had we ordered food but we had been waiting quite some time. In the mean time others were ordering food and being served! Were we in an invisible bubble! Another waitress then came and asked us if we'd placed an order! Unbelievable! My husband is usually a patient man but was unable to sit quietly. The waitress did offer us a free drink but when all you want is some food we declined. However waiting yet another length of time to be served was unacceptable. Other customers had also complained about the length of time they had waited (we discovered on leaving). My advice to the owner would be to sort out this catastrophe before others do the same as us and walk out. A shame as my sister fondly remembers the place as having been a nice little tea room serving lovely cakes. If you want a long sit down watching life pass by without food then this is the place to go!

Been to this little cafe many times and not disappointed, Ahmed and his staff will are very friendly and service very good as is the food. Customers return time after time and they remember you.
