Petare in Lambeth

This was one of my favorite meals when recently visiting London. I have to eat gluten-free and after talking to the employees, ordered the Arepa Bun. The bun is made of corn flour, light not heavy The chicken was wonderful-the perfect blend of sweet and spicy. Now that I’m back home, I’ve found a Venezuelan restaurant that serves a similar dish. Wish I could find this restaurant in the US.

We are crazy about south American food , we visited a friend and decided to order online , but the food did not arrive , What exactly is the matter with these restaurants i don't understand i use to be in love with another restaurant before called El pollote but that place has let me down too .. well i no more south American either Mexican or chinese :D ..

I went to Petare some months ago for the first time and the food is really delicious, also the great vibe that Stefano and Gabriel have, always with a smile and great attitude, make you feel really welcome! The arepas are amazing, and the yuca fries are the best ones in London. Definitely recommended to anyone visiting Pop Brixton! Gracias chicos!

The place, food and cocktails were amazing. Gabriel and the staff were so nice and friendly. It's a must to go if you are in Brixton!

The way these guys cook their chicken is sumptuous. Love it. And the plantain. Probably the best I've ever tasted

Excellent Venezuelan restaurent which makes you discover the essence of Venezuelan food. With a simple “arepa” they make you travel to their country. Welcoming, friendly, funny, good hospitality. We will be back. Muchas gracias!

I am a Venezuelan and I have try a lot of Venezuelan food in London but I can say this is one of the best, I had the spice chicken and to be honest is one of the best I have try. my friends had the arepas and the had 2 each and they told me the love it!!!. the staff are nice guys and very friendly.

First time here, found a nice spot on the top floor that served amazing cocktails (and shots)! If you’re looking for a good time check this place out!

Great food and service. Gabriel was attentive and fast. Guava marinated chicken was so tasty we ordered another portion straight away!!!

I love the vibes is in this place, The staff is super friendly. Specially Gabrielle. I spent the night with my friend having a bottle of wine and the meantime we had tajadas and fried chicken really tasty by the way. we we are coming back for sure! I really recommend It! Viva Venezuela!!!!!
