Peri Peri Original Chicken in Croydon

Such a disgusting I ordered and this is what I got the chicken skin is black from inside so much and they don’t even refund the money back

If u looking for great tasting halal peri peri shop don’t look further,great food and great service,reasonable prices so recommended.

The restaurant was really good and it was my first choice when i wanted something quick to eat. The staff was friendly and patient and service was quick and efficient. Value for money compared to the other options.

Never been to croydon branch but I was in Tooting branch bought few chicken for take away went home try to eat it but it was very smelly call back for complain but the manager was very rude and don't want to know any thing ang just hang on me very rude shame on you you tooting branch the way you are behaving I tell you one thing this shop will close very soon remamber my word shame shame

Genial para tomar algo rápido y en el ir si quieres un alimento de pollo ... no su hamburguesa estándar de pollo, pero más.

He pedido de estos chicos y 2 horas más tarde la comida estaba en mi casa frío y horrible. Lo más nuevo uso de ellos otra vez.

Me and my family visited this restaurant and had a great time, it's far more better then most grill restaurants that I have been to. I especially like the decor of the restaurant.

chicken in delicious especially in the burger with the hash brown. staff are rude but i dont care its cheap and delish. open til really early in the morning so if you need a 5am dose of chicken then go here!

I saw this place open and keep thinking I should try it. Finally did, but was underwhelmed wit the food I like spicy food, but what I had tasted a bit bland. Staff were great, maybe a different item on the menu would be better. No hurry to go back here. There are tastier fast food outlets around, which are cheaper.

Great food, lightly spiced, good service and very quick. Food was very good with genorous portions. Eating alone at all hours makes it hard sometimes to find the right restaurant but this one did a great job for me on a few visits. I highly reccomend the butterfly chicken breast, very tasty!

Vi skulle egentlig lengre ned i byen for å spise, men det regnet så mye så vi stakk innom denne indonesiske restauranten. Her var det også thailandsk mat og malaysisk mat på menyen. Valgte indonesisk og fikk servert et deilig måltid. Servisen var ikke helt topp, noe som sikkert hadde med at det var veldig mange kunder inne og få på jobb så det ut til. Men maten alene får full pott!

with the myriad of Peri-Peri take away opening up in places like Tooting and Harrow i was really please when i spotted this yesterday evening near where i live in croydon.. i ordered and presented a debit card and was gruffly told there is a 50p charge..seeing as my potential order was over £20, they would wot waive it. we simply walked out and went elsewhere, however not deterred and armed with cash this evening, i went back this evening in anticipation...what a let down, ordered a peri peri wrap meal. where do i start? the chicken was overcooked and tasteless, i don't think the peri-peri flavour even kissed it, only two small pieces of chicken, small wrap about the size of a McD's taster and the re-fried fries. Didn't enjoy it all...sorry.

I was out shopping in croydon and saw this new place peri peri original chicken and me and my friend thought lets check this place out. Good atmosphere and seating we ordered from the grill menu as they do both fried and grill, this gave as a good choice between eating healthy or choosing from the fried menu. we sat down i ordered a whole grill chicken hot flavour for £7.99 and my friend ordered burger meal, good service and staff were friendly. I really enjoyed my meal so i took some home for my husband too, definatley going back there and it is much cheaper than nandos

Not Bad great to see a alternative to nando. Since seeing previous reviews i must say service has majerly improved food has a really good taste and very cost effective in comparison to nandos overall 4/5

Well, it seemed like a fast food joint, but i've had gourmet meals served quicker. At least in Nando's you get to sit and wait with drinks while your food is being prepared. Seating was cramped, I had to get up while I was eating to let the guy next to me out. Food was standard but not really worth the wait.

Having seen that a halal alternative to Nando's opened in the area I thought to give it a try. As I went in it didn't seem overly busy, but the chap behind the counter didn't appear as if he wanted to serve me. What seemed to be the owner of the place was just leaning on the counter talking to his own staff. All I ordered was a standard burger and chips deal which took absolutely forever. There was a pretty lady whose ticket number seemed to be after mine and whose order was a lot larger...yet she got her food first and also the staff behind the counter threw in some free wings!! The food was like any other joint, nothing spectacular, service was awful, not a single friendly smile.

This is a new place on the high street that could just be like any other chicken shop locally. It isnt. You can sit in or take away and the menu is split between peri peri chicken and fried chicken. Havent tried the fried chicken as I am more interested in Peri Peri. Been there a couple of times now and its consistently good with a chicken menu pretty much the same as Nando's and you choose your marinade (extra hot is very nice) and you can even have the Nando's style chip spice on your fries. Much cheaper than Nandos and the quality is better than the Croydon branches anyway. Fast service with a smile, great food deserves to do well.
