I as an Uber Eats driver collect from here . I also order some of the quality cod and chips and it’s impeccable. The curry is good also with it and it is my local preferred place to eat from order delivery and even like to deliver from here too.

Excellent fish and chips all lovely and freshly cooked.

Gonna keep this quite short and spot on. Good value chippy, good quality, great atmosphere. No more to say. Staff is very friendly, you can have a nice chat with them while you're there waiting for your order, and seriously for what you're getting, the price is more than reasonable. My most preferred fish and chip shop in Penryn/Falmouth. 10/10 would recommend, been there more than 6 times this year and each time everything was spot on 🙌🔥

The delivery was really fast… but when you see the food you will understand why. This was honestly the worst meal I have ever had from a fish and chip shop, sausage is undercooked, curry sauce is basically water, and the chips are hard. For the price they charge this food should be 10/10 not 1/10

WOW best fish and chips we have had for ages! A generous portion, fish fresh and crispy batter - one of the biggest we have ever had! 👍👍lots of chips and freshly cooked. Highly recommended and also to top off price was excellent!

It’s ok here. They do a deliveroo style delivery service and this often overtakes in-person orders, making pickup slow. Food is nice. Good place if your not in a rush. Could be a little cheaper.

Tasty fish and chips, new ownership has been a massive improvement. Stopped coming here about a year ago because the quality dropped off. Big portions for reasonable money, friendly staff and quick cooking time.

Got me and my son some cheesy chips, haven't been here for over a year and I must say the new owners are doing a fantastic job! The portion size is fantastic and that's how you do cheesy chips! Hate places what go shy on the cheese! Overall a lovely place and a lovely owner, they have a wide variety of food on the menu and they also deliver, even though I like Mariners up the road, this is definitely a must try, fantastic food!

Portions are huge. Grub delicious and the new owner and his son are lovely.

We stayed near Penryn and fancied Fish & Chips. The food was great and the staff were really friendly. Large portions and wasn’t too badly priced. We will be back if we visit Penryn in the future.

Just about the worst hot wings I have ever had and I never ever post bad reviews. They were just that bad. Too crunchy and extremely bland even with adding my own seasoning. Just awful

Was standard chips. But a potion of chips, cheese and a curry sauce cost me 9 quid. How on earth. Nice place but make sure you take out a mortgage If you go here...

Best place I've come across in this area. I asked for "Special chef'slick" (which isn't on the menu) and I was very satisfied. 👍🏻Will go again 👌🏼

There's a reason this fish and chip shop has changed name and owner three times in the past six months. Terrible service, greasy and bad food. This is the kind of place where they'll serve everyone, take your money, then tell you it'll be 15 minutes for chips because they've just used them all. Worst chippy in the area.

New owners they have only just got shop, but I must say they know there fish I had for bites an chips , a friend had fish too, taste was unbelievable!! It was that good I live in redRuth an I came straight back the next day to get the same , ow the curry sauce hits different the best fish an chips iv had since living in cornwall the last 10 years top guys will be coming again soon

First time eating from here and the fish was awful, tasted fine but took one bite and found 5 pin bones and saw more sticking out of where i cut, ate further and found even more that i couldn't count, the bones were even embedded in the batter. Besides that, it was affordable, the chips were very nice and staff were friendly.

Website says open at 12, drive to shop at 12:20, in darkness and CLOSED. Look at opening times on door it says open at 12:00. ????

First and last time I would buy from here placed an order for £35 all went in bin shocking , sausages was not cooked , chips was soggy , fish batter was dark brown and tasted of old fat waste of money

First class. First time I’ve tried here and it was great. Light batter, perfectly cooked flaky fish, chip shop chips, rounded off with mushy peas and curry sauce. Very pleased, great value, nice staff and a definite repeat!

Their fish and chips are always very well cooked. Staff are friendly, and they take phone orders so waiting time is reduced.

We had a reg fish and chips, which was disappointing. Everything was lacking in flavour, the batter was oily and more of it then fish.

Only 2 of us waiting to be served. No one there the staff were in the back for at least 15 mins then we had to wait. But I wouldn't of minded if they were nice fish and chips. So fishcake smt very fishy and looked like a cows pack oand was not very nice chips were warm and rubbery. And my curry sauce was freezing. I only drove to the key to eat them

Amazing comeback for this shop! My partner and I were looking forward to trying it out, as the place looks fresh, clean and welcoming. Gotta say, we were not disappointed - we got a burger for him and a good ol’ fish and cheesy chips for me, topped with a bit of gravy on top. Great taste, super fresh, literally finished everything in minutes! Definitely will come back!

Used to be decent but it's gone downhill for sure. Fish was dry, chips were hard, and the mushy peas were basically just a pot of vinegar. Really gross

This used to be the best place around but in the past few months it’s really gone downhill. Stale refried chips and the prices have gone up dramatically - so annoying because it used to be so good.

Had great meals before from nemos. However this time the chips smelt of ammonia and were inedible the fish dripping in fat and very unappetising. What has happened to a great fish bar.

Previously I gave Nemos 5 stars but have been twice in Autumn/Winter 2021 and it's totally changed, wouldn't recommend now. Chips were chewy and didn't have that delicious beef dripping potato flavour and the fish was thin and dry. But here's my summer 2021 review, hopefully it'll go back to its best again soon! "We get fish & chips about once a month from here, wouldn't go anywhere else. The chips are an absolute delight! Every time my Mum comes to visit from up north she asks to come here. Sometimes there's a big queue but other times you get lucky and barely wait"

Expect fresh fish being close to the coast. Had large haddock and chips, only the price was large....

So disappointed. What used to be one of the best fish and chips anywhere has become the worst. New management means chips are soggy and batter isn't crisp like it used to be. Very greasy and quite unpleasant. Such a shame to see a fantastic place ruined by new management

Nemos you actually let me down tonight. Your receptionist if that's what you call it clearly needs manners on how to confront and acknowledge a complaint. Would never come here again.very poor,even the fish is below par now. New owners looks like....but food standards have gone downhill rapidly.

Not a fan of leaving negative reviews, but this was truly horrific. Arrived here at 1800 on a Wednesday evening. It took around 10 minutes to get served, the place was empty and the guy was just standing there cooking something. Didn't even acknowledge us. After being served we waited about 40 minutes outside for the food. We order X2 battered sausage and chips... Chips were soggy and both sausage and chips were cold. Really disappointed at both service and quality. Hopefully this is a one off, but I won't be returning to find out.

Fantastic chippy! Great food and wonderful staff. We stayed on St Thomas Street for a weeks holiday 27/8 to 3/9/21. Popped in for fish and chips when our evening meal plans went wrong in Falmouth and we were glad they did! The food was delicious, freshly fried fish, lovely chips, curry sauce and mushy peas. Even the dog got a treat! After that visit, my daughter went every day, at least once a day to see her chippy besties. Thank you Nemo's for being so kind and welcoming to my daughter, she will remember you always

Amazing food and staff are amazing as well. Had the fish and it was simply outstanding.

Previously been pleased with our food from Nemos but today made a bigger order and when it didn't all arrive I phoned to ask if they could send the remaining meal to be firstly told I was wrong and it was all there, which we double checked, and it wasn't. Then told they couldn't send the rest as was ordered through deliveroo. Unfortunately won't be placing any future orders.

Fish and chips don't get much better than this!

There was no flavour in the fish the oil that the fish was fried in was dirty my mum said she could taste pork while she was eating her fish the chips were very stale and went straight in the bin its terrible just go to harbour lights instead they have better food for the same price

Good portion size, sausages were lovely however the chips were very crispy tonight, over baked which is a shame as they have been good previously. Curry sauce thick & lumpy

THE Best tasting chips in the whole Falmouth area by far! Under new ownership & portion sizes are smaller but prices have gone up. Still a great taste to the chips & beats the Falmouth award winning Fish 'n' Chip shops in the area, where you pay for the views. Recommended 👍

Portion is great, taste good. Good price. Though Part of the batter got soggy when I had it (We live 5min away) If you see a queue there, I’d suggest you don’t bother it as it took forever. ( we called to order, and they said we can come and claimed in 10min, waited another 30min at the place lol)

Ordered online tonight for an 18:25 collection. Just as I walked in, the fish & chips was being served. Massive portions for the price and I'm pleased to say the food was delicious. The server and chef were friendly and polite. First time ordering from Nemos but it won't be the last.

I would usually give nemos a 5 star service, this is not a review on their food as such, as the food is amazing and the chef there does an amazing job with all the orders that come through along side deliveroo, More the the fact of the absolutely awful customer service that the (I believe to be new staff) gave, 1 of them managing the phone, was stood waiting to make my order for 20 minutes, and everytime she come off the phone she would moan and complain about a customer Infront of everyone, then once she had finished moaning about the previous phone call, the phone would go again instead of taking my order , Once taken my order to attitude was awful no respect or professionalism in her voice whatsoever, constantly moaning about deliveroo drivers and customers out loud so all customers outside the shop could still hear, Also having attitude with her co worker for not being able to read her handwriting and asking a simple question with a childish response and mini tantrum, And after waiting a further 15 mins for my food, which I don't mind at all as I understand it was in peak time and busy, I went in and picked up my food but I had forgot to order my cans of coke, Asked if I could quickly just pay for them, and I had back a massive huff and reply with urgh ok pay card to her and she will do it, I mean it was just 2 cans of coke out the fridge, which really doesn't take much effort, Long review but I really feel that nemos deserves much better than the 2 new girls as a guess their new, but they need to have much better attitude to customers and not complain about people Infront of their customers

Very good chips , probably the best I've ever had shame I live 5 hours away or I would visit more often.

Massively overpriced. Asked for cod bites, each cod bite was about 20% cod 80% batter. Chips were funky in flavour and many were hollow inside. Lots of scraps of batter in chips. Sausage was anemic and very artificial. Disappointing for our first meal of our holiday. Should have taken the advice of the pack in the house and gone to Mariners.

This was the worst chippy I have ever had in my life... and I’m not young... and I’ve had a lot of chippy’s. Over £9 for the smallest, bruised and battered (no pun intended) chips. To the general public - do yourself a favour and don’t waste your money or taste buds.

Great quality, but got a large cod and chips here two weeks ago which was much bigger (both the fish and the chips) than what we got today, bit disappointed tbh.
