Went here with my daughters. We had lemon chicken and veg spring rolls for out starters. These were quite tasty. For main course we had Sichuan chilli chicken, sweet and sour chicken and black bean beef with noodles and egg fried rice. The Chilli chicken was not very nice - loads of dried chillis that weren’t really edible. It also had a slight taste of fish which I presume was fish sauce but it didn’t taste good. The sweet and sour chicken was quite good but the black been sauce was gooey and the beef sloppy. Rice was good. We had this and 2 small cokes, 2 small lemonades and one small bottle of beer - total cost was just under £80. But then they are charging £4 for a coke and £4 for a lemonade! We won’t be back

First visit and place looks nice and was busy but food not the nicest. Prawns were chewy, chips were dry and special fried rice couldn't be eaten. Waste of £20 so I'm gutted and still hungry.

10 of my group ordered the lovers banquet. Overall food was very ordinary and in particular the amount for 10 people was extremely poor. For eg, 2 small dishes of rice and 8 main meals between 10 of us. Then to be charged £500, was extortionate. We were very disappointed. We actually had to get some food once home. We won’t be recommending this establishment to anyone I’m afraid.

Absolutely awful, waited forever for food, got a starter, 1.5 hours later still no main course. Ignored by 2 waiting staff despite being sat right in front of bar area. Could hear arguements in kitchen. We left as we're concerned what the food would do to us if it ever arrived. Truly shocking.

We have often walked past the Peking Garden and have rarely seen people eating. We decided to try it out last Sunday for an early dinner. When we arrived at about 7pm two other tables were occupied, one by a couple and one by a group of 5 or 6 people. They left before we did and no one else came in so it was very quiet. The restaurant was spacious and we liked the decor. It felt relaxed and comfortable. The food was good. We shared a selection of dim sum and then had a main course each, a beef with black bean sauce and a sizzling lamb. We had one portion of boiled rice and one of egg-fried rice. We drank jasmine tea with our meal. We have had more impressive Chinese meals elsewehere (not in Wilmslow) but we enjoyed our dinner very much. The waitress was pleasant and efficient. I don't know why the restaurant isn't more popular.

We ordered a takeaway for 7pm for my birthday, it is now 8pm and we are still waiting. After contacting the driver many times we are still waiting for our delivery. Terrible service

Just had takeaway from here. Ordered set meal for three. Very disappointing. Food tasted ok but very poor value for money. One container of rice for three? Would not recommend for takeaway.

Amazing hospitality. Staff could not do enough for you. Greeted with prawn crackers sauce while you perused the menu. Food was totally amazing. Fresh delicious and fantastic portions. Great selection including vegetarian. House wine - Sauvignon delicious. Restaurant - fine dinning - well decorated, clean and modern with a cultural classic twist Minna was outstanding. Knowledgeable friendly impeccable service with a smile. Thank you for a lovely evening.

They currently have an early bird menu which is fabulous. Soup, prawn crackers, choice of main, ice-cream and a soft drink for £15. A bargain and delicious! The beef in black bean sauce with fried rice was really good.

My friends and I went here for a meal after the local bonfire night, and it was one of the best Chinese meals I have had in a long time! The food was absolutely delicious, and the staff could not have been more helpful and polite. The restaurant was lovely a clean. The only issue, was that I was in there at the same time as HannahBo (left a 1 star review below) who is the rudest most obnoxious person I have ever had the misfortune of sharing a restaurant with. He kicked up such a fuss about his food after eating his starters and half his main. He shouted and swore at the staff and told them he wasn’t paying for any of it, before telling his wife to put the bottle of wine they had ordered in her bag; which she did. The complaints he came up with were pathetic, and it was blatantly obvious that they were just scamming a free meal from these lovely hard working people. They had no shame! So, to my point, this place is lovely. Make sure you check it out.

TERRIBLE! This place is under new ownership, it has drastically gone down hill! Me and my family have been a good customers for years however we will never again step foot in this place. The final straw was when they took our order wrong then agreed to put it right and then rang us back and withdrew their offer of putting their own mistake right. ZERO STARS OUT OF FIVE!

We booked a table for 4 and it started off good enough the after about 30 minutes a large party of about 12 lads came in and all the service went to them, most of the other people eating had to wait whilst all the staff ran after these lads. We asked 3 times for a desert menu and still never got one and then decided just to get the bill and leave and we had to ask 3 times for the bill meanwhile the lads were getting all the attention. Very poor service and i will definitely not be back.

Extremely attentive service and good food. All courses were brought out with sensible breaks between courses. Lovely staff.

I was super excited to try this place out but I was so disappointed by the taste of the items I ordered. I had to add salt to the salt and pepper chips because they had barely any flavour, the beef in the black bean sauce was tough and the flavour of the dish was not nice and the egg fried rice was basic as can be. Wish I could have enjoyed my experience more.

My daughter and I decided to dine here before going to the cinema, which is very close by. We were greeted by friendly staff and seated by the window. A young man came to take our drinks order and was delightful. The food we selected was all delicious and the service was exemplary. The atmosphere and decor is pleasing and all in all it was a memorable experience for all the right reasons. We shall certainly be returning. Thank you to all concerned.

I had the beef last night...it smelt funny in the bag taking it home...once I’d eaten a couple of pieces I realised that the meat was smelling and well gone off.From 2am to 5am I was in a bad way.Please don’t play with peoples lives Never eat somewhere that the restaurant owners are prepared to serve you dangerous food they obviously don’t care about your well being.

From the second we walked in we were greeted like long lost friends by Raymond and the rest of the staff. The service was seamless and food delicious . We found something for everyone on the menu and my husband and son said the roast duck was the best they had ever had! Such a friendly, happy place with amazing food. We will be back and highly recommend.

Me and my partner visited peaking gardens, as soon as we sat down there were other customers complaining which put us off but we thought we would give it a go. We ordered a sharing starter , when the bill came we got changed for twice because there was two of us? We also ordered duck, egg fried rice and a bottle of wine and the bill came to over £100. Not worth it and we were very angry that we were charged twice just because there were two of us!!!! And we’re honestly not the type to complain as we both previously worked in hospitality.

Great Christmas family meal, after receiving a warm and friendly welcome. In a lovely Christmas environment, the staff are very friendly and the service was fast and very efficient, the food, well it was perfect, the portion sizes a good portion and the flavours where flawless! Will certainly be back again. Would recommend to any one looking for a sit down meal in Wilmslow.

Ordered a takeaway for delivery for my partner and I,Food was delivered one hour late, however I accepted the delivery as we were starving.Just wish I’d refused it, food was just awful, chow mein with a strange fishy taste, although supposed to be chickenMy advice avoid!!!

This was our first meal at The Peking Garden since its change from Yang’s and so we were optimistic. Everything about our experience this evening was appalling....the officious andImpatient waitress taking our order, the wrong food coming, the right food coming but in the wrong sequence, food arriving cold, drinks not arriving, and fundamentally badly prepared food, too much is pre-prepared and too much is sugary and salty. The other young staff try hard but with no guidance, struggle.The final straw was when we enquired whether the staff get the service charge that had already been included on our bill. We were told no, that it goes to the management. That is unforgivable.

Went to Peking Garden in Wilmslow for our wedding anniversary as a first visit. The restaurant is very clean and well set up to deal with Covid 19, with sanitizer on tables and staff wearing masks. Tables were also well spaced out. We had the Lover set menu and the food was absolutely delicious. Our evening was made extra special as we were given a dessert with a lit candle to celebrate our anniversary.We will definitely be returning to this delightful restaurant.

First night out since the lockdown, we were so excited and had a wonderful night. Most importantly, they have well-thought safety measures and guideline in place to make us feel very safe. Well done.From previous review, I understand why some people have confusion about the pricing in disposable takeaway menu. But If you eat out regularly In wilmslow, you should know takeaway price in dining will be too good to be true.From restaurant point of view, i can see it is all out of good intention and they have clear explanation about the dining price difference only if you can spare a moment to read them. Ate there tonight, can’t complain about food but the way they are communicating the menu is a scam. They put a take away menu on the table and tell you it’s the only one you can order from, they then charge you based on the menu on their website that is approx 25% extra and include a 10% service charge. The manager said that customers keep getting confused but they continue to do it. If the correct menu had been put on the table then I wouldn’t have an issue with the price, but this was clearly misleading.

We had a nice meal there. The waitress brought the bill and the card machine at the same time. I did not get the opportunity to see the bill. I added a tip. After the waitress left, I added the bill up in my mind and then asked to see a copy. We had been charged a service charge. There was no mention of a service charge on the menu. Quite deceitful in my view.

Had several brilliant take aways over the last few months but this was our first we have eaten in. Service is really friendly and the food was amazing. Will definitely be returning!

Ordered food online and collected. Not cheap but previously this has been a really good takeaway.The food was terrible, some dishes tasted just of vinegar. Vegetarian Spring rolls were meat ones. Sent an email explaining how poor the meal had been and got no reply, so I presume they're not interested in customer satisfaction.It may be due to C-19 but I would definatlely steer clear, not a place we will be visiting anytime soon.

The food is bland, the portions are tiny, the prices are ridiculously high the service is terrible but will give them that due to the current environment with covid19. But no excuse for poor quality food and portions at those prices. Any chinese in wilmslow is better than this place. Think they are capitalising on the fact that no other chinese takeaways are open at this time.

We have ordered from this place many times before however during the coronavirus pandemic they said the wait was between 30-45 mins. We have now waited for 2 hours with no way of contacting the restaurant. We have no idea if the food is coming or not and have to now cook a meal. Very unsatisfied this time.

Visited last night with a friend and chose a buffet menu. From the second we walked in the owners/staff were so welcoming and friendly. Service was top notch and the food was delicious. Could not fault a thing. Perfect meal thank you.

Table service was very slow as the restaurant was busy but clearly they had too few staff to cope. It took them 30 minutes to even bring us menus let alone ask what we wanted to drink. Ordered food took far too long to arrive at the table. The quality of food for the price was poor value with our dishes being lukewarm rather than sizzling as advertised and portion sizing was small. As this was our first visit impressions count and sadly we won't be back.

We visited on New Year’s Eve, no acknowledgement when we arrived, eventually shown to our table, it was a good 10-15 mins before anyone came over to give us menus or take a drinks order, the drinks too an age to come, the food, when it eventually arrived was not the best. We ordered more drinks, they didn’t turn up for ages, same when we asked for the bill, huge disappointment to New Year’s Eve, would not return, they only had 3 staff to cope with one of busiest nights of the year!

Eaten here several times since the ownership changed. Food has been consistently good, friendly service, reasonable price. Recommended

We had a fantastic meal to celebrate my birthday. The staff were friendly and helpful, the food was amazing.

Had a set menu - reasonable. Ordered food for our children to take out and a sweet of banana fritter to eat in whilst waiting for take out. 20 mins later still waiting. Finally caught a waiters eye (who I might add took the order) and he said he would check. Came back and said it would all be ready in another 15 mins. Cancelled my dessert. No apologies. Not enough staff on. Very disappointed

Had a Sunday Buffet today with family. The variety of food is very good. All fresh and hot. Empty dishes are quickly replaced. Staff are helpful and friendly.

Dined here for early evening dinner and it was delicious. The service and ambiance is brilliant and the food was top class. We will be back for sure and a big well done to all the team.

Wanted to place an order online, however there were no prawn crackers - so rang the restaurant to ask if they could add them to the order, which they had no problem with. It said online that the food would be delivered within 30 minutes of the order time - this delivery took us an hour and a half to finally receive, after having called them multiple times being told that it had left on all the occasions we rang.. WITH NO PRAWN CRACKERS (which considering we had soup was a massive let down). We then rang the restaurant who said they would send someone with them to our house and would be with us within right away- this time, they never actually arrived at all. Disgusting and we will not be ordering from here again. We gave them multiple chances to explain where they were but they decided to stop answering the phone.

Just what we wanted , very good Chinese food and well cooked and not too greasy, food tasted good and was cooked well. We were well looked after by staff, very attentive.

We have been eating Chinese food the world over for over fifty years ( my wife living in HongKong for five years ) find some of the poor reviews hard to understand .I doubt that those who compare H K food to this restaurant have ever eaten the real thing as many dishes do not suit the western palet ( chickens feet ,fish heads anyone )no I guess not !My review is based on fact, we have many Chinese friends who own restaurants both in China Town and across SouthManchester / Cheshire and have eaten with them many times .This restaurant rates very well with them all.Six of us for dinner .great welcolme on arrival promptly seated ,drinks menu presented immediately ,just as it should be we like to order and take our time over the menu .Very comprehensive menu with several unusual dishes ,not your average bland choice .not sure about the pictures but it's fun and the text is large enough for people of our generation to read with ease ( other restaurants take note )we have stopped visiting some just because the lighting is poor and the text is to small! Service was fine very pleasant staff could not do enough for us not rushed and felt very comfortable .All of us enjoyed every thing we orded and the wine list was comprehensive and very fairly priced (certainly no rip off ) there are restaurant in Wilmslow who do try to take advantage but not here .All in all a great evening and at a total cost of two hundred and twenty pounds with four bottles of wine and a gratuity which is already included ( saved us working it out ) fantastic we will be back !!!!!

Decided to give it a go. Rarely eat Chinese outside of Manchester City centre and I should have stuck to my rules. The place only had a couple of occupied tables when we arrived but by 3pm it was almost full, Nice table and very attentive if somewhat amateurish staff. Drinks expensive and slow to arrive. The buffet looked ok at first glance but it was mainly downhill from there on. Hot and sour soup was mainly thickened fluid with a few bits in it. One of the worst I have ever had. The ribs (two styles) were very good as was the unexpected choice of shredded duck with pancakes etc. The rest was a mixture of the usual spring rolls, salt and pepper mushrooms!!!!!!, chips and greasy prawn on toast. The bland main courses included a curry of sorts and a nasty sweet and sour. One choice of rice and one of noodles. The poor sweet selection dumped on a small table near the door looked very sorry for itself.At £13.50 it wasn't expensive but it isn't worth the effort. The final spoiler was a service charge on the bill. As I had served myself I was so insulted I was speechless. Would not recommend the buffet and will not return.

I have just returned back from a wonderful evening with my family at this very nice restaurant. I very much disagree with the last comment which was very negative, my thoughts are very much positive, it was my first visit and we all thoroughly enjoyed the food, the staff were very welcoming, very kind, and very helpful in helping us to choose the correct dish. The food arrived in time, it was very nice and hot and there was no issue with feeling the freshness in the vegetables, the fish and all the types of dishes we ordered. I have taken many photos with the dishes before we started and the dishes after we had finished, as you will see nothing was left. We were 3 persons and we ordered enough food which was all finished. I am a local residents and I enjoyed the short distance from where I live, I will go there again, in fact I will take a larger party.

Good speed of delivery however disgusting food cold frozen food no flavour will not be ordering again.

We’ve just come back from here after a lovely meal. We were a bit hesitant after reading the reviews but it was convenient and we wanted some Chinese food. I’m glad we did because it was absolutely gorgeous! We will be back again soon. The best Chinese outside of China town in Manchester!

Just called into this place on our trip over to Manchester for a flight tomorrow and really didn’t know where to go to eat.But chose here ... so glad we did had a fantastic meal with massive portions the staff were absolutely lovely definitely recommend the salt pepper chicken

Be ready to pay for everything you order even for additional hot water for Chinese tea. The food is good, but not like Chinese food in Hongkong. We are avoiding going to this restaurant as we find it so pricey and it's like the restaurant just want to take advantage of the affluent residents of Wilmslow.

Ordered from here as my usual takeaway is closed for 2 weeks, and a friend recommended as she orders from the hazel grove one, I normally order salt n pepper chicken from red lantern and can’t finish it, I’ve just ordered salt and pepper chicken and bbq ribs - salt n pepper chicken had 6 little pieces of chicken and crispy bits no chicken in and the ribs had 4 in ridiculous for £20.......still hungry very unhappy customer, called to tell them with no empathy all they said is no one else has ever complained.... not what trip advisor says!!!!!! Sort it out or you will close down soon

Great food and brilliant service. Really pleased to support their new venue in Wilmslow as we usually go to their other restaurant in Hazel Grove. The good has always been fantastic and the staff are very friendly, helpful and attentive. The owner is a lovely friendly guy who can’t do enough for you.Went on Saturday night and had the chicken satay starter which was lovely followed by salt and pepper chicken which was incredible.

The food at Peking Garden is 11 out of 10...I also think the service is fantastic, and although i have only been twice so far, i shall be a regular patron for certain...The menu is really varied, i had some of best dumplings i have ever had, and the Fillet Steak in Ginger & Spring Onion was phenomenal...I can only presume the poor reviews are from competitors; ignore and go this is the best Chinese in the North West... barring YU in Alderley Edge which is in a league of its own.

My friend and I booked a table for two at this restaurant on Friday, the 22nd of March then tended to ordering the food we ordered scallops which came and were quite frankly very bland didn’t look Chinese like at all just scallops put in the shells with a bit of dressing not very good then we ordered a main course Peking duck I fear the duck had been frozen terrible meal and then to the bill which was £100 now £50 ahead is very very expensive for a non-Chinese meal we asked who the guy was sat at the table near the bar and he was a Polish man who was the chef there so you’ve got a Chinese restaurant with a Polish chef oh on top of that it was completely empty I wonder why on a Friday night at 8 o’clock we will certainly be going there once only.

I don’t really understand how people can complain about the slow service, and food. We had a great experience, helped with the Gluten free options and found the service to be very attentive, speedy and full of character. Food was superb, and we all came away having enjoyed the evening. All the food was very enjoyable, but the duck was outstanding. Thanks to all, be back soon. Mark. Leeds!

Ordered a takeaway from here, service was good as the food arrived quickly, but the quality of the food was really disappointing. So much so that I ended up ordering another meal from elsewhere. The portions were also really small, only 2 fillet steak rolls as as opposed to the 4 stated on the menu. Will not be going back.

Ate here for the 1st time last night (23rd Feb) since it was Yangs! 1st impressions walking in were favourable and the restaurant was buzzing! Unfortunately that’s where the initial impression ended! We were seated pretty quickly, menus given and drinks orders taken. We then had a considerable wait before our food order was taken, and we had to repeat ourselves several times before they grasped what we wanted ( I’d had the same problem on the telephone when reserving the table....so I think that some of the staff’s understanding of English isn’t very good) We waited an absolute age for our starters to arrive, and then just one was delivered to the table with the promise that the rest were on the way. Over 10mins later we had to remind them about the other 3 starters, when of course the one that had come had long been eaten! The wait wasn’t worth it....my Peking ribs were dreadfully overcooked and hard, very little meat on them either, and at £7 for 3 small ribs in a bit of sauce very overpriced! The prawn crackers were very greasy and again poor value at £6! One of our 4 mains was not what was ordered, but we’d waited far too long by this point to wait again for that to be put right! One thing I do have to say is that our complaints were handled very well and apologies given! A price adjustment was made and a round of drinks brought to the table! This was much appreciated, and will probably ensure us giving them another chance!

Ordered a takeaway from here and was fairly confident that it was going to be up there with the better Chinese restaurants/takeaways in Wilmslow. However we were a little underwhelmed and disappointed. The salt and pepper ribs were chewy and lacked any real flavour. The same can be said about the salt and pepper chips. The sweet and sour chicken was very vinegary and the crispy chilli beef lacked any real crunch or kick. Really disappointed and I’m afraid to say I won’t be ordering from here again. If you’ve got a Chinese takeaway/restaurant you’re already happy with then don’t be tempted to try here...it’s not worth it!

This restaurant has just opened up in Wilmslow - there is another branch in Hazel Grove. My wife is sensitive to monosodium glutamate (MSG) so we have to be careful as most Chinese restaurants use this a lot. The staff here, especially the owner Raymond, were most helpful and indicated which dishes were OK and which might not be.The quality of the food was excellent and we will be back again.Total cost including drinks and service was £57-40.Definitely recommended.

As with the peking garden in hazel grove it is amazing. The staff are so friendly and kind and the food is the best Chinese around. Today we tried the Sunday buffet and it was just as good as the evening food. Great staff. Great locations. Great food!!! 5* A+++++++

We have known the Peking Garden from it's days in Bramhall and having noticed that they had taken over this restaurant we decided to see if the food and service were still as good. We actually arrived just before the opening time, but were immediately made welcome with a Chinese New Year greeting!We found that our food was excellent and all the staff very pleasant. The manager told us that they had started their Sunday Buffet, which we used to enjoy previously so we look forward to trying it out shortly.

We arrived for our 7pm table on time to be told that the table wasn't ready yet and had we booked for 8pm. After standing at the bar for about twenty minutes, without being offered a drink, we were finally shown to our table. Raymond had befriended us at the bar and told us he wanted to give us a "nice" table hence the short wait and that he would make our son, 14 yrs old, a special drink. Whilst waiting, we asked for the drinks menu to choose a wine for the meal. We chose a nice bottle which Raymond commented on and said he would open for us.We were finally shown to our table and shortly after our wine arrived, unopened. We then had to find someone who was capable of using a corkscrew to open it! We asked for some water which arrived but no sign of our son's "special" drink.After looking at the menu, we decided to order a couple of tapas, one of which was Tea infused Quail's Eggs, some prawn toast and hot and sour soup to start, followed by a couple of mains and egg fried rice.After about twenty minutes, the starters arrived, minus a soup spoon and the quail eggs.We waited about ten minutes for the missing items to arrive before asking a waitress for them. She disappeared and returned with a spoon but no eggs. We reminded her that we were still waiting for them and off she went. Another ten minutes passed so we asked again, still no eggs arrive. One of the waitresses then told us that Raymond wanted to tell us something about the eggs. After another ten minute wait, he informed us that the eggs had finished yesterday but that we could order something else. We chose the salt and pepper ribs. These were the worst ribs that we have ever eaten! They were tough and chewy and hadn't been cooked for long enough.By now we had been in the restaurant for nearly two hours and had nearly finished our wine. Our son's drink had never turned up. We decided that if we hadn't got the main courses by the time we had drunk the wine, we were going to pay and leave. The mains arrived just in time and we ate them. We paid the bill and left. Our son had been looking forward to a dessert but we couldn't face the wait! He never got his drink.We were very disappointed and went to bed, putting it down to experience. However, in the middle of the night, my husband was woken up feeling sick, with terrible stomach pains and diarrhoea. He was up most of the night on the toilet.We will never go back again. This is the worst meal out that I can remember and we eat out a lot! I don't think they will last very long in Wilmslow, unless there are some very major changes.

Could not fault the place! Food was excellent including the ‘crispy duck’ and a truly fantastic ‘soft shelled crab’. Staff were efficient and very polite. Front of house was very obliging and professional. Good Luck on your new venue. We’ll be back

My friends and I were in Wilmslow on a work trip and went to this restaurant, the staff were so friendly and made us feel very welcome. The food was excellent

Ordered for delivery, customer service on the phone was great then the food was delivered and it was absolutely delicious! Will highly recommend!

We went on a Saturday evening and were sat straight away at a lovely table and within 5 minutes had our drinks delivered. The menu surprised us as it offered “home made” dim sum, as well as dishes such as beef pak Choi and more unusual Chinese dishes not generally found in the average Chinese. The food arrived promptly and was exactly what we expected. I was amazed that the wine list which had my favourite French wine which I’ve never found in England before. Really. I mentioned this to the manager who told me he selected wines which he had tried and tested and knew from his 30 years of being in the business. I believe him. What a nice chap. The whole dining experience is pleasant and the food is good. If you are looking for better than good or want to impress your companion I would go to Yu in Alderley Edge, otherwise this place is ok to satisfy that appetite for Chinese food. I will be going back.

We popped into the new Peking Garden in wilmslow to give it a try. Fantastic food, fresh and interesting tastes, excellent service.

I loved Yangs & I was really sad when it closed. I was prepared to be disappointed by its replacement but I was pleasantly surprised! The service was excellent, the staff are really friendly & attentive. We had one of the set menus & it was lovely, amazing duck, fabulous prawns & excellent sweet & sour. We’ll definitely be back & ordering takeaway!

Most positive thing I can say is that the service was prompt . The steak rolls were the most disgusting thing I had ever tasted. The whole meal was sub par quality .We used Yangs all the time and were never disappointed. Will probably use one of the other take away in future

Came with husband - had duck and was a generous portion and really tasty. Service was quick when restaurant was busy on sat night. Main courses Chicken Schezuan and crispy beef in ok sauce. Amazing food lovely staff - couldn’t do more to help you. Very reasonably priced

This was the second time we have been here. The food the first time was ok, but the wait was intolerable...we thought we would give it a second chance...Big Mistake. We had a 70 minute wait for starters. To add insult to injury.. box after box of takeaways were going out while we waited and waited. Their second chance was also their last chance...never again!

The worse meal for a long time ate in yangs for years tried this place greasy poor tasting food don't give it a long time to remain open once the honeymoon period has finished I am sorry to say

Tried the new peking garden and was very disappointed with incredibly dry duck. Also a very salty small portion of chicken lettuce wrap with a swimming portion of lettuce all for a very dear price tag

I believe we were the first customers of the day at 5pm, not just because we were given free cocktails to celebrate this fact but also because the chefs were the only one sat eating in there.The place looked nice and the staff were super friendly in welcoming us, but we felt slightly like we had caught them unprepared. Oh, how that turned out to be an understatement...40minutes in and my Cantonese-speaking partner heard the staff discussing how they didn't have a certain food item. 20mins later, turns out it was her order and she had to pick something else. At 70 minutes we got our starters. Two other customers had been, eaten and gone at this point.At 90 minutes, we finally got our mains but had 20mins to eat it before we had to leave for a train. What a disaster.I give this 2 stars simply because the Manager was very nice and apologetic, even though the rest of the staff seemed to act like everything was fine, and because the food was rather enjoyable once we got it. Not great food, but not bad food. I had hoped this was teething problems, but either way I will not be going back again.

Can’t fault the place good food good service good portions, I would say it’s better than the Hazel Grove branch. And as good as the Tai Pan in Manchester which was our go to Chinese until now No complaints from all 5 of us, every dish superb. And the rest of the diners seamed to be enjoying their food John Cavanagh Dec 2018 9/10

Taken over from Yangs and what a disappointment. Rang to make an order for collection. First of the all the member of staff was extremely rude on the phone and the line went dead, when we called back we made the order and was told 15 minutes. We arrived to collect and sat and waited for a further 45 minutes. We constantly kept asking what was happened and no one would help. We got an insincere apology and waited another 5 minutes. After an hour we got up and left with no food. I appreciate that this restaurant has just opened but it has zero organisation and rude staff and it isn’t ready. Will not be returning.
