Ordered a takeaway for collection. When we got the food it was cold( we collected food before we had a text saying it was ready) so wasn’t left waiting for us to collect. Got the food home only to find out the chips were missing for the omelette. Took over half an hour to get through to them about the missing food to be told we could have them free with our next order. What a joke

The service was disgusting and the food was terrible the chips were horrible and dry and the rest of it was horrible and dry I won’t be ordering from there again

Horrid. Absolutely horrid. Threw up the food was that bad, fish raw chicken undercooked. When refused a refund I packed it up and took it back. Didn’t even fully get a refund. Horrid. Don’t go here unless you have a death wish.

I’ve been coming to this Chinese for years and it’s been steadily getting worse. This time it was by far the worse I’ve ever had. The food took 1.5hrs to arrive and when it did it was cold. We won’t be going there again.

Extremely rude customer service from the young women on the phone when I questioned where our food was after waiting 2 hours for it. After waiting this length of time our order was wrong therefore had to call again to get the right order. When we called back they said we could come and collect the missing order despite having paid for delivery. I would not have minded this if it wasn’t for the awful customer service on the phone when questioning when our food would arrive which I feel is a valid question after waiting for 2 hours. I was rudely hung up on after the young girl say “well this is out of my control and I will tell the driver to hurry up then”. Won’t be ordering from here again!

Two hours for delivery and the food is average

Absolutely disgusting food, turned up over an hour and a half later than expected, this is the 3rd time this has happened, no communication from the restaurant, extremely rude customer service from the young woman when I called to ask where my order was. Final time I order from here and put up with their poor excuses. No compensation or apology when I spoke to a member of management. In his words "I haven't got the time to sort this out tonight as we are so busy" Please do not provide any custom to this place.

Ordered a takeaway with Just Eat. Food arrived on time. However the food wasn’t good. Everything was far too sweet. Hot and Sour soup shouldn’t be sweet. Chicken with ginger and spring onions shouldn’t be sweet. Beansprouts shouldn’t be sweet! It’s a shame it isn’t authentic at all.

Probably the best chicken omlet I have ever had, the only let down was the chips. But fantastic service and fast delivery, would have given 5 stars if the chips had been better.

Food was soggy the chicken was uncooked and the bloke on the phone was very rude telling me to go in wheelie bin to get food out to give back so can have refund

Worst chinese around chicken was rubbery rice was like play dough duck tasted and smelt off sweet and sour sauce was watered down was more like a tub of red water than sauce worst place ive eaten... Kenichi Chin is turning over in his grave right now disgrace of a place

The rice was like it was sat for 3 days. It was pushy and sticky. The chicken was like rubber, the prawn crackers was stale and soft. The sweet n sour source was like it was watered down. The duck spelt off. We spent nearly £70 this wasn't worth a 1p. Disgrace

Used to use this place loads but food has gone downhill massively. Never warm, bland and gloopy sauce. Avoid.

Service was rude and took 2.5 hours for delivery but I have to be honest with the food and I have to say that it was delicious and the best Chinese takeaway I have had. The delivery driver was really nice and polite and was apologetic for the delay. Hopefully the receptionist can be more polite in future

Throughout lockdown Dragon City gave us great food and great service. We used this take away regularly. Sad to say the standard of food has dropped the last two times we ordered. Wanted to allow for a one of bad night but after a second try we were given salty sweetcirn soup, watery sweet and sour and watery green pepper and blackbean sauce. Such a disappointment. Please serve your better food and increase your prices if that's what it takes.

Chinese for 5 of us starters and mains. Everyone was very complimentary about their meal 5* Highly recommended.

The food was off, the ribs especially, smelt and tasted horrendous. Other parts of the food wasn’t fresh and turned our stomachs instantly. Rang restaurant who just denied any issues and told us it was fresh and they were busy. Plenty of other Chinese takeaways in the area

Ordered numerous items, ribs were completely off, texture, smell and taste horrendous. Other food not fresh and strange tasting. Usually very good but the fact so much was not fresh and past use was surprising. Tried to ring the takeaway however they were defensive and denied anything wrong. Pointed out the ginger had black edges showing it was not fresh but told that they were very busy

Absolutely awful, duck was just fat, ribs old and beef chomping smelt rank, needless to say all went in the bin, wouldn't even feed it my dogs

Worst dumplings I've every tried. Rubbery , dry and taste less. Salt and pepper Chips was not fresh so by the time the take away arrived tasted like yesterday's warmed up chips. Only thing enjoyed was the duck. Will not be returning, sorry guys.

Fast delivery, food was nice to eat. Unfortunately as soon as I had finished I felt ill and spent all night hugging the toilet. Had to take today or work because I still can't even keep water down. Will never go back and has put me off Chinese food for a while.

Normally a visitor to an elworth based Chinese but this was superb.

We use dragon city often. Food always lovely. A genuine mistake was made with a wrong order on a delivery and was quickly resolved. Will continue to order from them.

Disgusting food quality, when I contacted the lady on the phone screamed at me and was incredibly rude. Certainly won't be using again, that disgusting it's inedible!!

The food is always good from here, but the service is appalling. The food doesn’t arrived at the time you order it for and once they got the order wrong and called me a liar. The woman on the end of the phone has been rude to me on several occasions. She really is not a nice person.

Food was preordered for 6pm delivery after numerous calls from 18.50 it arrived 19.30 and was stone cold and inedible. Tried to call them to give them the chance to rectify to no avail.

I love the food from here but tonight I found a long black hair buried in the seaweed. I had to throw the whole lot away. Its a shame because the food is good but I'm put off now.

Regular choice for take away, and we are working our way through the menu. Delivery is always on time and hot,, and the selection on offer is fab. My favourite is the pork in yellow bean curd,, mmmm,

Order food online, it said 50 mins but after 75 we rang up. They seemed confused then said it would be another 20 mins. When food arrived it was luke warm and didn’t look good. The food seemed to be under cooked and tasted bland. Should of read other reviews, won’t be ordering again.

Ordered some food along with spring rolls, however they forgot the spring rolls. I called them to tell them they hadn't put these in the bag as we only live down the road and hoping they may off dropped in the delivery drivers car. Anyway to cut the long story short, they Chinese lady on the phone was very rude and basically started calling us liars - (Yes, over £2.50 rolls) after a lot of persuading they did come and re deliver them. We will not be ordering from these again - Especially not spring rolls.

best Chinese i have tasted. and i seen some disgusting comments saying food was late during this covid 19 . people need understand that most fast foods are shut. so dont order unless your willing wait longer 😎

Had food from here many times, always great. Hence why I’ve still given it a 3 star. However, placed an order for a collection as we needed it quick then a delivery usually takes on a busy Friday night (roughy 60mins), collection stated it would be 20mins, placed the order through online and it changed to exactly 1 hour pickup time, the same as if I’d of ordered for delivery... not brilliant organisation, paid already too or I’d of rang and cancelled it.

Could have gone to china quicker. Ordered food at 6:30pm and my food arrived at 8:50pm. when I rang they said it was on it way. 40 minutes later still no food so i rang back, they would answer the phone then hang up, after withholding my number they final answered me and my food arrived with in 10 mins. No apology or anything!

Delicious hot food that arrived faster than expected. My whole family throughly enjoyed the food. Would recommend for those Thursday takeaway nights.

Poor food, spare ribs were overcooked, CRISPY seaweed was soggy the chicken chow mein was bland and overall not worth the money I spent. Usually don't like to write bad reviews but a solid 80% of the food went in the bin... and as I seem not to be the only one to notice but the "man" on the phone was quite short and rude with the quite young girl working there.

Ordered chicken in cantonese style and pork ribs tonight. The chicken was cold and didnt taste like meat at all, the pork ribs were so hard and chewy they were inedible. We are regular customers here but will not be coming again. Disgusting

Poor poor service,ordered our food at 8.20pm and it finally arrived at 10pm. We were told at 9.25 that the order was on its way for it to arrive 35 minutes later and look warm at best with zero taste. Every dish was bland and to be honest totally unacceptable. We have used this Chinese for many years but the service and food has just gone downhill to put it bluntly so we will certainly not be using them again....🤬

We ordered food it came 1 and half hours later . I ordered plain chow main and it was just noodles . When my husband rang to complain , she argued and shouted at my husband saying “that is plain chow main” . He said he wants them to bring another one with bean sprouts and onions etc. It finally came and again it was noodles with a few bean spouts, which went in the bin it was horrible. Long wait, bad customer service and rubbish food.

food ordered at 7 o’clock to come for 8 o’clock, which the restraint confirmed. although I did get a call at 7:25 which I missed and a text following to say they were very busy so the need would arrive around 8:30/8:45. so overall 1 hour and 45 minutes wait for food... not acceptable. no apology for this when the food arrived and just our standard order, nothing to make up for this, e.g. a drink. however the food was up to it’s usual stranded and amazing however just a shame about the wait.

Second time at dragon city tonight and the food is just LUSH! Recently moved to the area. The staff are friendly, delivery is amazingly quick only took 20 mins from ordering for my food to come. They text to confirm my address. All round amazing service! Thank you!

Resteraunt Service it’s self was perfect, however the food was awful. It was very very salty, and greasy, it was very disappointing

Chips looked like they had been reheated, salt and pepper chicken was just pieces of batter and tasted like there was no chicken. Only nice part of the meal was the bbq sauce.
