Amazing takeaway best by far in the area! Food had loads of flavour and offer a wide range of dishes and is also adding extra special dishes! Would 110% recommend!!!

Usually our favourite Chinese takeaway in Witney but tonight we ordered 1/2 duck and it was pitiful. Definitely massively reduced portion more like a quarter. Disappointing. The rest of our takeaway was good but felt ripped off.

What a disappointment and complete waste of money. Absolutely revolting takeaway. Pale, sloppy, tasteless noodles and the beef with cashew nuts was much the same with chewy disgusting meat. Also with the added extra of a few hairs thrown in!! Nothing like a bit of great customer service to top it off, with no apology or offer of a refund in any form. She simply told me to send a picture to the environmental agency.

Food was awful, really slimy texture. Chow mien was inedible, everything just really really bland. So disappointing!! Don’t eat here!!

Totally and utterly disgusting. BBQ sauce watery. Spare ribs so tough inedible. Beef curry meat extremely tough sauce again watery. Spring roll uncooked and predominantly all garlic. Nothing authentic about the taste of this takeaway. The whole thing was so disgusting it went in the bin Never ever order from there you will be totally disappointed and waste your money. Will never venture near there again

I have ordered from here for ages now. Always quick service and when ever I ask for a specific request, they always deliver. Ie ~ spice the curry up, extra garlic etc. I had a chicken curry tonight and would say I had the equivalent of two chicken breasts. Loads of lovely chicken. Definite must try!!!!

I love peking chef, they are always so friendly and pretty fair prices. Sometimes getting orders wrong or mixed up but overall the food is delicious, a great Chinese takeout place.

Fantastic service. Lovely food and very accommodating to any specific requirements, ie make something hotter, add more garlic etc.. The food is always hot on arrival, tastes lovely and plenty of it. Definitely up there with 1 of the best Chinese in Witney.

Visited today for a take away with my family. 5/5. I think this was possibly one of the best, if not the best Chinese I’ve ever had. Could not say one negative thing about it. Food was piping hot, not greasy and decent portion size. Fed a family of 4 for £29 and had some left over. Everyone said how full they were however did not want to stop eating as it was just so good! Thank you for a fabulous meal. We will be back!

Used for the first time today having tried other “better rated” Chinese takeaways in Witney and can honestly say this is the best we have had, quite a long wait for the food but worth the wait, defo would recommend giving it a try!

We’ve had a few takeaways here and have been happy with the food quality. Service is quick enough and you don’t wait too long.

We ordered and received our food within about 15 minutes - very convenient. We had prawn crackers, the new mixed starter and chicken pieces with fried rice. We thought the chicken pieces had been prepared sometime before, and so weren't as nice as they might have been when first cooked. but overall a good meal.

As my normal Chinese is closed on Mondays, I called in here for sweet and sour pork with egg fried rice. Although the food tasted fine, the portion was frankly absurd - enough for more than 2 people even though I was on my own. Pork balls of 50mm diameter are too large for chopsticks, unless you've got a mouth like a politician! I hate waste, but I ended up having to throw about half my meal away - it was way, way too much for one person. Disappointing.

Revolting. Hadn’t had a takeaway from here for ages and now I remember why. Had a set meal for one @£14:50. 4 chicken balls in gloopy inedible batter with a side of sweet and sour fluorescent sauce, a thin layer of tasteless even more gloopy beef and mushroom which sat on top young chow fried rice which tasted as though it had sat around for weeks - avoid at all costs.

Chicken and mushroom soup was very watered down chicken stock and 4 small strips of chicken and a few button mushrooms floating on top, no Chinese mushrooms to be seen, tasted awful so I threw it away, will not be ordering that again.....you would think if it's a Chinese takeaway they would use Chinese products ie shitake and oyster mushrooms etc in their soups, but nope just cheap English ones....dietary restrictions are very limited, I ended up with the soup and a very small sausage as Im diabetic and most of their dishes are not suitable to eat for me.

I used to go to the dragon house regularly 15 odd years ago, circumstances changed and I hadn't been in over a decade. Decided to pop in for a quick and easy lunch. Really tasty food, good selection, and very reasonable price. Had chips rice and sauce. Enough to be really filling and less than £5.

I stopped using Rainbow House about 15 years ago after a few bad meals. Decided to give it another go earlier this week as I read it was under new ownership but this may have been a while ago. Its a shame as the Capital Spareribs sauce was a lovely sweet and sour sauce with added punch, but the ribs were way over cooked and dry. I had the chicken battered balls and sweet and sour sauce but this lacked flavour and the batter was awful - not crisp and slightly sponge like. The chicken inside was very bland and over cooked. . A waste of £24
