Having visited the Sunninghill restaurant many times and never being disappointed and not being able to get a table, we decided to try the one in Sunningdale instead. Considering the issues we are all facing with COVID-19, and being the night before lockdown, I have to say I was extremely disappointed with this venue. Firstly, the restaurant was not spaced out for social distancing, it was as if social distancing was not a requirement! The place was full and it even looked like they added more tables in areas you would not expect to see a table (i.e. on the steps going up to the upper part of the restaurant). The men’s bathrooms did not have any hand soap or sanitiser. I brought this to the waiter’s attention, but nothing..It was extremely noising in the restaurant and this was mainly to a large group of woman (they certainly were not Ladies!!) shouting, cackling and screaming for the entire evening. There were more than 6 people on that table on and off for most of the evening. They were of a rather large build and hanging off their chairs and spilling into the other tables. Bracknell’s finest (not). The language was disgusting! We ordered our food and then the problems began. The lamb was ordered as medium rare, when it arrived it was well done. This could be due to the fact that it was overcooked or sitting under the heat lamp for 20 minutes. We sent the lamb back and I asked if they could keep my dish warm while they cooked another dish of lamb cutlets. They insisted on making mine again. Within 5 minutes the lamb arrives back on the table with cold jus. The jus goes back and 5 minutes later a hot one arrives, by which time the lamb has gone cold. My dish arrives back, not recooked, but kept under the heat lamp. We had to keep asking for cutlery, condiments and a glass for the wine. The service was absolutely abysmal, so much so that we did not pay the gratuity. They removed this from the bill and deducted one of the main courses. Sadly, I will not be visiting again.

Visited Pazzia(Sunningdale) off the back of some really great reviews of the Sunninghill branch from friends and family, but we were quite disappointed with both our food and service. One of the party had ordered the Gamberoni starter (at £14) and received a measly 3 prawns and some rocket on a plate- though delicious. Quite the rip off to say the least. My starter ( flat mushrooms and goats cheese) and my main (Linguine Gamberoni) were delicious, more so the starter. The main had a slightly off taste but the prawns themselves were very nice. The core downfall was with the service. Receiving dirty cutlery is an absolute no at any time, but particularly during current Covid circumstances. I had received a dirty fork with my starter and didn’t get so much as a sorry for the inconvenience when I asked for a new one. Let this slide as I know this can happen on the odd chance. When my main arrived, I was given yet another dirty fork. This time I asked for a new one from the lovely lady who was working behind the bar (beautiful Afro hair if this helps Identify her, as I didn’t catch her name but she was so great) I had stated this was the second time and she was very apologetic. Overall service was quite slow, we didn’t receive one of our Side dishes and we had to ask multiple times for drinks. Quite a shame as I’ve heard such great things about the branch itself. When it came to paying, we also noticed a service charge which was added to the bill (not stated as optional) this was calculated based on our full bill price not the price once our eat out scheme discount was applied which is quite cheeky. When asking one of the servers how this charge worked (how it was split between staff) we were informed that is wasn’t at all split between the servers but instead went to the business. So not only is the business claiming back discount from the government for the scheme, they’re charging max for the service charge and keeping this for themselves (not a fact but presumed based on what we were told by servers). Before leaving we saw our Original waitress Francesca. After learning of the service charge situ, I wanted to thank her for her service and give her a tip of her own, she was full of banter and very informative about questions I had with my dish (linguine gamberoni) and so friendly towards Everyone on our table. Before leaving we saw the general manager put this tip into a glass (presumably split between everyone on shift) which is fine, but not only will our waitress not see any of the service charge designed to be collected for servers, she’s likely to see very few from the tip I gave her. Quite disapointed with this system.

We spend so much money for food and drinks but at the end Manager came and said they are leaving in 10 minutes so we should leave too. We enjoyed the food but at the end very disappointed with this disrespectful behaviour and attitude. When we said that guests are important to the business then the Manager and his staff came together to argue with us. This was ridiculous . Is this how you say THANK YOU to your guests for visiting your restaurant !!!

As it happens, we could. After enduring the largest carpark in the world, the M25, we arrived as a three at a time when I'\d usually expect massive reluctance to be served, with no reservation, not a problem. The place was empty - quite naturally - notwithstanding we were received with courtesy and assured we could indeed have a lunch. We did, and it was produced with some grace, the food of good quality and service friendly and not obsequious...a bonus. The wine list varies between reasonable and frankly outrageous, but this is Berkshire and to be expected. We were able to order a respectable red for 'drinkable' money - the bill for 3 was less than £ 100 including wine.Worthy of your patronage.

Visited here earlier in the week, expected a bit more from it to be honest. We arrived at 6 with a seating at 6.30 so we sat at the bar which felt quite hostile, had a drink and were then moved to our table. The place feels run down and could do with a lick of paint as we noticed where food and drinks had been spilt down the surrounding walls around our table. I had the prawns for starter which were nice and had a pizza for main, I asked for extra chilli’s but I didn’t seem to get any, we asked a further 3 more times - they eventually turned up but I only had 1 slice of pizza left. We felt disappointed and will not be returning.

I don't regret being upsold the lobster spaghetti at Sunningdale's Pazzia (there is a sister restaurant with the same name in nearby Sunninghill). Nor do I regret being seated next to the resident singer / guitarist. Both were excellent and the latter even had people dancing next to their tables in this friendly local trattoria. In general, the food steers a course more towards hearty and classical than super-innovative and fiddly, but is all the better for that. There's quite a lengthy wine list with options to suit all pockets. In all, a much better experience than is offered by most national chains serving up homogenized Italian-style fare.

One thing that is worrying is that I have recently heard the staff don't get to keep their tips, but rather the owner takes the tips and uses it to pay their wages(!) which is very disappointing to hear. Our first visit here for a double birthday celebration for our two husbands. From arrival we really felt that the Manager wasn't terribly interested in us. We were shown to our table, no one bothered to take our coats or make any real attempt to welcome us. Menus arrived, no drinks order taken for a considerable time and when the Manager came to take our order, he thought we weren't ready and walked away saying, "no problem, we close at midnight!". We were actually ready to order and it was some time later he returned to take our order after we managed to get his attention.

We sat at the bar and drank which was nice as the decor is contemporary and drinks are of good choice (albeit expensive!) Some of the pasta dishes were ok, however, the ravioli was not fresh. It looked and tasted like glop. The pizza was not fresh and tasted like a frozen pizza. Parts of the jumbo shrimp were raw. The waiter offered to make a new dish but at this point we were almost finished with the meal.Staff were incompetent, frazzled even though the place was not busy. So disappointing as Pazzia Ascot is rather good. We will not be going back. If you are to go, have a glass of wine as that is what everyone seemed to be having.

We visited as a family. We have been here a few times and always enjoyed our meals. There is a lobster promotion now on Sundays, a whole lobster for £19. Myself my son and wife all had lobster for our main course. For starters we had beef capaccio, Mussels, and a small dish of Penne pasta. All the starters were really tasty and the portion size was good. For the main we had Lobster Linguine and Lobster thermador. They were all good. The only point I would make is, include all the whole shell and claws on the plate. Its hard to know if you have a 'whole lobster' if you have the meat and only part of the shell. Service was okay but a bit slow and surprisingly it wasn't busy. I think the B team were on duty though because I did not see the normal team who serve us. Maybe because it was a Sunday lunch time. But we enjoyed it and price including two Prosecco and one one glass of white wine and coffees for three was about £120 including service charge,

This place really needs to decide whether it wants to be a Nightclub or an Italian Restaurant. The food was good, service patchy. but why oh why the deafening guitarist? Now I like music and he was OK, but so loud we could not hold a conversation. Asked to lower the volume, they did, for 5 minutes then up it went (some fairly wrist slashing choice of tracks too). No wonder the front of the place was deserted (2 of 6 tables occupied). So we skipped desert, coffee and liqueurs and left.

I wanted to try this as this building has been a bit of a white elephant with different restaurants opening and closing . I arrived with my friend and there were only two other people in the place , but it was a Monday night . I had booked just in case as it is near Christmas and we were shown to a table in a little alcove . I didn't want to sit there a it was a bit claustrophobic and neither did my friend. I asked if we could sit somewhere else and the waitress shrugged her shoulders and did a funny gesture with her hands as if to say please yourself . We were a bit taken aback and sat at another table , our other friend then turned up and joined us and the waitress asked if we wanted some water and went to walk away and my friend said could we order some drinks to which she replied in a very rude manner about coming back , again we were all taken aback and didn't feel like we wanted to stay . We had a conversation between ourselves about if we should leave as it was a horrible atmosphere. I am not sure if she heard us but her attitude changed a bit when she came back with the drinks . We decided to stay as there is not much else around there . I have to say the food was very good , but it was a weird experience . I can honestly say I have never got to the point of nearly walking out of a restaurant , but that young lady needs some training in customer service !
