Always get a good coffee from here!!

Deux serveuses extrêmement désagréable qui s'exprimait par gestes en riant car notre anglais n'était pas parfait. La moitié des tables étaient vide mais pas débarrassé de leurs précédentes commande. Une des serveuses fumait à l'intérieur, face à la porte des toilettes!

We usually meet at the Caffe Nero in the station but decided to meet here for a change. We found a table that hadn't been cleaned with a dog bowl next to it and a puddle of water on the floor which I cleaned up. The coffee was good but the cafe gave an impression of being dirty.

Positives: staff are extremely friendly and accommodating so props to them! They were really sweet to me and my friend as we were looking for a place to pray, and they gave us a quiet space without hesitation. The seating area was also kept very clean. Negatives: picked up two toogoodtogo orders, sad to say that the pastries were not up to standard at all. 4 small pastries stuffed into a tiny paper bag per order, clearly had been left out for a long time as they were a mixture of soggy and stale, as well as all squished together (please separate the different pastry types in individual bags next time as it would help witht he soggy-ness). Would not have paid any money if i knew we would get so little, and such low quality. Definitely disappointed as cafe nero is otherwise really nice!

Pretty awful attitude of Nero in general, I'm at Windsor along with 5000 other police and military personnel working during HRH Funeral, in a rare break during our duty, and its freezing, we go to the nearest place for a hot drink/food, no discount offered in any capacity to any of the services,(which is being offered by all other drink/foods shops) poor show Nero! I'll be looking for the nearest Starbucks from now on

The service was abysmally slow and serviettes clumsily placed on my cheese toast ended up taking half the topping off!

Good enough spot to get a cup a Joe. If you randomly end up in Windsor, like me, with not too much to do, this caffe has some nice tables and chairs if you can get one cuz they fill up fast. Good place to kill a few hours comfortably. Coffee is fine. Prices are exactly what you’d expect, I didn’t get any food, but the atmosphere and cleanliness was nice. Conveniently located near a side street if you need to escape the tourists, or conveniently located directly on the tourist street if that’s what you are doing in Windsor. I’d kill more time here for sure.

Just a regular mocha nothing special. Try to focus more on quality of coffee not on upselling things.

Very sadly, the barista should know that they are there to serve customers and not argue with them. Perhaps the young lady needs more training

Staff are rude. Strange accents shouting over you before you even speak.

Popped in for quick brunch with a friend found the place to be dirty particularly the lavatory. My friend was waiting outside lavatory and saw customer and huge dog exiting the facility she did go in but found the floor was wet and filthy made her feel physically sick. Also I understand customers visit with dogs but think it's totally unacceptable and unhygienic to sit them on chairs surely this shouldn't be allowed.

It's a good reasonably priced café. Coffee is much better than competitors

Nice tea but very unfriendly staff. I am a German Tourist and ordered a tea, they straight Up Made fun of my english because I didnt understand them. They also Made Jokes behind my back. I Hope that they get a punishment.

I have just visited this cafe Nero and wanted to say how lovely the ladies serving were. Especially the lady with the glasses, she was so friendly and helpful. We had coffee and scones with cream and jam and she heated the scones up. Made the start of our visit to the high street much more enjoyable. Thank you

Jody the covering manager gave us exceptional service, at a time when we were tired and chilly from the walk from Windsor Castle. She highlighted the Colombia roast and honey oat latte which were perfect for this March afternoon. Ambience with music, ample seats, friendly and proactive service is what makes this place stands out 😊 wishing the best for this location for the upcoming tourist season! I use this Nero very often. The food is great and they serve the best coffee in town. The staff are warm and friendly, I'm always greeted with a smile and friendly conversation. The service is brilliant and they recognise their regular customers and are able to remember your coffee order which is awesome. They truly do go the extra mile. It has to be hands down the best Coffee Shop I've ever visited and the staff all deserve the highest praise for everything they do.

asked for an iced cappuccino and received a 20% drink and 80% foam drink . I told the lady at the counter and she made me a new one exactly the same without change. Maybe even worse than before. Felt bad the place is nice but terrible iced cappuccino

The staff definitely need more training. I was in the cafe at 2:30 pm on Tuesday, 22 August 2023. The cafe was not busy at that time. A staff at the cashier (a lady with black long hair) did not take any orders until other staff reminded her that people were waiting. I ordered a cappuccino with coconut milk and no chocolate powder on top. In the end, she gave me a cappuccino with cow milk and chocolate powder on top, and I developed a milk allergy one hour later. Very unprofessional! I like Caffè Nero, but this was a bad experience.

Good coffee and this shop is generally well maintained. Since I stopped going Costa and Starbucks due to their foreign policies that are unethical. Nero is definitely the one

Excellent Ham & Cheese toasties to accompany our coffee. Had the Winter Blend and a standard Americano, I still preferred the Americano but my partner says she preferred the Winter Blend. Great service from the staff, and a worthwhile loyalty rewards programme gave us useful discount.

Fabulous coffee and excellent service. I was served by Dave, who was very friendly and made a very smooth latte. The staff in the place are always cheerful and helpful. Would definitely recommend this place for some soulful coffee and for its ambience.

I have lived in Windsor for 5 years and used to come here frequently but am sad to say it has gone downhill a LOT in recent months. The coffee tastes burnt and has done for some months (not as good as other Caffè Neros, which is usually good for a chain), and the service is pretty slow and quite rude/abrupt. The facilities are also dingy - toilets frequently dirty and smelly. A shame as they have nice space/seating. Many other better coffee establishments in town now.

Staff are quite rude and not friendly at all. One staff was cleaning a toilet 15 mins before closing time. I asked how long the cleaning will take and she answered “I don’t know”. So I waited for 10 mins in front of the toilet. Another customer came up and asked her again about the toilet and the staff said “the toilet is closed. You can’t use it.” The staff definitely saw customers queuing for the toilet but didn’t say anything. I always liked Cafe NERO in other towns. But I wouldn’t recommend this one.

Inexperienced staff member, ask about my order three times. It took a long time to prepare the drinks, foam on the cappuccino wasn’t proper. The single origin coffee I tried it was watery and tasteless. The toastie wasn’t properly cooked. Usually I love Nero and I am usual customer but this one at Windsor failed to delivery the usual quality of Nero.

Dass mich für einen Cookie so begeistern kann, hätte ich nicht gedacht. Perfekt austariert zwischen klebrig und krümelig. Die ältere Dame oben im Schloss interessiert mich nicht, für so einen Keks komme aber sicher nochmal nach Windsor.

Went in to say farewell to a my mentor. Met young and caring staff. The smiles were effortless

Nice, decent sized, coffee shop down the road from Windsor Castle. We stopped here for a drink before heading home when we visited the castle. The staff were lovely, the queue went down quickly and the shop had a nice atmosphere. Would visit again.

It was just the cozy place I needed on a windy afternoon, comfortable seating and optional location. The coffee is well done and rich and the dessert I had was very tasty.

Capachino not that hot, had to take it back

The coffee is good but not the place to go in Windsor as there's a lot of local coffee shops that serve better and cheaper options. The location is really great though but staff could be more attentive to customers. I feel like the purposely blow the air conditioning on tables to let people leave quickly.

My friend & I popped in for a light lunch & coffee.. I had a toasted ham & cheese sandwich which was very tasty & black coffee... My friend had toasted pinni with tuna& a flat white coffee,we found the staff very pleasant & welcoming...if we were in Windsor again I think we would pop in again!☕

I tried Freppe creme from here and had high expectations but was disappointed after the first sip. It was WITHOUT sugar. How can you make it without sugar?? Asked the staff that it's without sugar and she told me that they don't add sugar in it. I asked her to add sugar so he charged £0.50 cents and added artificial sugar syrup. Which made it horrible. To my surprise she put the coffee in the blender, obviously I told her that it has no sugar so it's implied I have tasted it. NOT SUCH MUCH FOR COVID SAFETY AND HYGIENE. It was a let down.

I would of probably given the cafe a 4 or 5 as on entering we were greater by a nice barista who made an effort to compliment what we were ordering and offer an additional flavour. We then sat down easily and went about enjoying our cheesecake and lattes. Here was when the stars were lost. After enjoying the latte which the first barista had recommended, I approached the next one who had appeared as what seemed like a handover. As I thought the first had given a name to my newly discovered beverage I started to describe what flavours were inside the drink. The way the barista responded was listing the ingredients and saying that's what it is. The tone and look was simply quite derogatory and almost made me feel like "why are you wasting my time with this" Luckily I'm only visiting Windsor because if it was a regular occurance I might find a cafe shop with more than 50% of what I consider as general etiquette with a guest in a hospitality venue.

Not a bad Nero in the heart of Windsor.

Usually Cafe Nero's standard's are stunningly high- milanese perfection brought to your door. However I'm shocked to find that I as an Englishman have been served a scone... with French Jam. One would have thought that the Italians may have sold either local or indeed their own jam.... but no. French. Jam. Mortified.

Don"t know why they do not expand as myself as a coffee lover (tons of coffees I've had) can tell that the way they do coffee is WAY better than Costa.

Algunos de nosotros nos encontramos aquí para una reunión matutina. La planta baja al entrar es muy bulliciosa y ruidosa, pero la ventaja del café Nero es que tienen muchos asientos en el sótano, lo cual es realmente bueno si necesita sentarse un rato y conversar. Solo comimos tés y cafés, pero a pesar de estar ocupados, nos sirvieron rápidamente.

This cafe has become a victim of it's own success. Lovely coffee and cake, helpful staff but lines get too long and wait can be impatient.Great place though. Avoid lunchtime.
