First time visit to Paws for 5 , had an excellent morning Kaiser our 18 week old Rottweiler puppy throughly enjoyed himself. We both had a lovely fried breakfast, tea and Lattes at very reasonable prices.

I had my dogs 13th birthday party here. The dog buffet was extremely generous. They had party hats for the dogs, we had a great time. Her birthday cake was great fun. We really enjoyed it. They went the extra mile for me, with special menus for the humans. I highly recommend this café if you want to have fun with your fury friends and humans, INSIDE. Fantastic!

this is a very friendly cafe with snacks and doggy treats, customers and staff are very welcoming but nowadays follow the entrance and exit signs, they do jacket potatoes and bacon rolls, as the dogs are off lead you may get an inquisitive nose pushing in! has a decent size car park but I use my sat-nav to find it.

What a fantastic place! Visited here with husband, daughter and 2 of our dogs. Even though our dogs were a bit damp from the beach, we had a warm welcome and were even offered a towel for the dogs.Plenty of choice on the menu, food was fresh, tasty, good value for money and our dogs had a fantastic time roaming about the cafe. Plenty of fresh water available, toys for them to play with and even a little gated play area to keep them safe if the cafe was busy. Plenty of treats to chose from for the dogs themselves and even a little ball pool for them to enjoy. Staff were friendly without being intrusive and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Can not recommend highly enough!

Reggie and Jack our dogs lead us to this cafe. A great place, a true dog friendly place. The human food is good and reasonably priced, the dogs loved the sausage’s and woofens. Unfortunately jack had a pee on the floor I asked for a cloth to clean it up but before I’d finished the sentence it had been mopped up obviously a regular occurrence. It was great to be able to sit inside and relax with the dogs, everyone is friendly customers and staff alike as we all have one thing in common our dogs, and it has a 5* hygiene rating.

Such a lovely and friendly cafe for dogs and their owners to visit and spend time socialising. The food and drinks are very nice too, and there's plenty of choice of treats for your dog, along with other great pet accessories to purchase. This place is an absolute must to visit! All dogs and owners receive an instant lovely, warm welcoming from the owner. I have to say this is our favourite place to go! I highly recommend this dog friendly cafe to everyone! My little dog has so much fun playing with his other fur-friends (big and small)!

Visited this cafe with my partner and little Oscar our jack/yorkie cross on Friday afternoon. There were 5dogs already in there. We had a nice cuppa coffee and a scone with jam and cream very nice and very reasonable prices. The staff and customers already there were friendly and engaging all of us being obvious dog lovers. They made a fuss of my little Oscar and i was so impressed when for the first time ever i was able to let my little scamp of the lead after he settled down. Albeit he settled to much and i nearly died of embarrassment when Oscar did a tinkle on floor but to my delight we wernt told of the owner simply came in an instant with mop and bleach and cleaned up in the blink of an eye saying not to worry about it as long as u mention it i can clean it away a.s.a.p. Well we are always looking for places to eat and drink indoors with our dog and this cafe is perfect. No airs and graces just nice simply food and drink and friendly staff but also other dog loving friendly customers and a black fluffy dog called Barny i think had a run around chasing my Oscar and it warmed the cockles of my hart to see that. Well done and a must visit for any Genuine dog lover/owners. Thanks will be back.

Great little doggie cafe. Very friendly and welcoming, both towards humans and also my dog. Pedro the Puli loves coming here to play with the other dogs in a safe, warm environment. There are usually 3-4 other dogs for Pedro to play with.

It’s worth tracking down this friendly cafe in Seaham because it’s not in an obvious location. Food is tasty and very good value (making it possible to visit several times a week) and dogs get a lovely welcome. The cafe is big enough to let your dog companions off the lead to explore and socialise with other dogs (it’s amazing to see quiet, nervous dogs come out of their shell). There are also quiet areas for dogs to take time out. It’s open 7 days a week and I always get a warm welcome. Highly recommended.

Paws for 5 is a wonderful place. A dog cafe which is extremely welcoming of all dogs and their humans. The staff are exceptional, friendly, warm and welcoming. The food is great- both for dogs and humans. There is an excellent choice and very good value. Can’t get such good value anywhere else. I love visiting with my two dogs, Meghan and Poppy. They love coming and pull to go inside to see their doggy friends and enjoy a sausage! Staff and customers are all very friendly. I love this place.

This is our second visit to this cafe. Last year, it just happened to fall on Maisie's birthday, and we couldn't believe what 5* treatment we all received! Today was just an "ordinary" visit, but nonetheless absolutely perfect. Fabulous ambience, superb service, mouth- watering quality food, and absolutely unbelievable value for money. Any adverse reveiws can only have come from a competitor - except there is no competition... Our discerning dog gives this place the paws up!

My dogs love the place, if my dog ever escaped pretty sure she would take herself there! Perfect for a mid walk break, my puppy particularly enjoys a dog ice cream while the older one loves to play and say hello to everyone in between eating her chopped sausage all while we humans enjoy a nice cuppa ( And rather yummy bit of cake on occasion) You'd be barking mad not to try it sometime!

Great, friendly cafe where the needs of doggy visitors has been well thought through. Even nervous dogs seem to settle in well, possibly because they can wander round off the lead. Highly recommended.

An awful unfriendly environment, poor food and extremely overpriced.Dog treats are old stale and extremely expensive. The staff are rude and abrupt. One to give a miss!

We always get the warmest welcome when we come here.

Paws For 5 is a café designed to allow people to visit with their 4 legged friends. It's a lovely place to stop in for a drink and a small bite to eat after having a nice brisk walk with my dog on Seaham beach.

Called in while en route to visit our son as it has good reviews. They're well deserved. Good coffee and tea, nice toasties and ultra friendly staff. Felt more like sitting with friends than being in a coffee shop! Well recommended.

My daughter’s chihuahua Rosie won a gorgeous doggy afternoon tea at this lovely cafe. The owner is so friendly and owners and their dogs are made so very welcome. The doggy cakes looked good enough for us all to eat. I would highly recommend a visit.

I have already reviewed this place but had my dogs first birthday party there a few weeks ago...for 18 dogs and their owners ...and it was fantastic great spread put on by the owner who put herself out to make it really extra special for the dogs and us ....lots of little extras it was amazing ...will be going back for her 2nd birthday next year we had such an amazing time.....I hope this place goes from strength to strength....wish there were more places like this around the country ..well worth a trip for you and your pooch birthday or not!!

Large and great place my dogs had so much fun. Food was very nice too. Theres is a seperate pen for the dogs if you want some time to eat without them. Would reccomend to anyone 5 stars!!

Great cafe. Excelent food for both human and canines, and very friendly staff. Loads of room for doggy visitors, including quiet areas for nervous or shy pups. Well worth a visit,with or without mans best friend

I`m lucky to live very close to Paws for 5 its the best place to visit if you have a dog (or even if you just love dogs) the staff are so friendly and a have a warm welcome for all , the food is amazing for us and the dogs, its got a 5 star food rating, the place in immaculate ...they sell lots of goodies for the dogs too, hold special puppy social afternoons and fun days throughout the year...birthday parties too for your dog ..if you love dogs you have to try this place out...!!.
