Had a chocolate brownie today it was inedible. Hard and dry. Couldn't get fork through it. Disgusting.

Nice cup of coffee and cakes. But somehow only open 3 hours a day for three days a week 🤔

Have been coming with friends, family and two children (baby and toddler) for a few years now. Food - delicious, far too delicious! Generous portions. So much more value for money than your typical coffee shop. That goes for savoury and sweet. Drinks - more variety than you'd think, cold and hot. Coffees are lovely, plain or flavoured, tea is always spot on and the hot chocolate is my favourite. Babyccinos are very popular with my two but also great range of cold drinks. Service - owner and staff are all absolutely lovely. They can never do enough for you. They remember you, talk to you, make you feel so welcome even when they're super busy. Always a high chair available. They are all very accommodating and the service is always quick, handy with hungry little ones! Atmosphere - because of the lovely people there it's a very welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. Never had 1 negative experience. Such a great cafe, please give it a go! Can't recommend enough.

First time visit for me but local for my friends. Lovely little tea shop with homemade produce. The two ladies running were great, very friendly and attentive. My bacon and cream cheese bagel was yummy. We took orange and almond cake slices as a takeaway again yummy. I look forward to my next visit.

What an amazing little find when out doing deliveries. This place has a really chilled vibe. The staff were extremely polite. We went for a toastie Ham and Cheese and it was absolutely delicious. Was piping hot and very tasty. I would 100% return if i was in the area again. Thank You Betty Bee's 👍👊

What a wonderful wee tea shop. So unexpected in the area and yet so welcoming. We had the home made scones and carrot and walnut cake which were exceptional.

Just discovered a very friendly local cafe with good drinks and snacks.

Nice people, a homely feel and good coffee. I think some of the portions sizes, especially the kids ones, need reconsidering as it was only about a quarter of a full size panini, and just a pound less. Also, some work on some better sides other than just crisps/bowl of Hula Hoops for kids. Liked the time in there though but probably just best grabbing a coffee and a bit of cake.

Wow, wow, wow just enjoyed the most delicious afternoon tea delivery box. The sausage roll was superb and the choc orange cheesecake simply divine! Highly recommended

Lovely place to visit-a lifeline during the pandemic. Brilliant takeaways. Great fruit and veg box deliveries, delicious coffee, cakes and bacon and sausage sandwiches. Once a month hot beef sandwiches are amazing. I'm dairy free and they're very good about allergens/dietary requirements. Highly recommended.

Coffee shop closed because of the dreaded lurgi! However, Helen and Chris are doing deliveries in the area. Cakes, savouries, bread, eggs AND fantastic mixed veg, fruit and salad boxes. Just wow! Cross Betty Bee with the AA and what do you get - ABBA the fourth emergency service and a potential life-line for isolating people. Well done H&C. Good luck. This will not be forgotten!

I love this place! Always a warm welcome from the friendly staff, fabulous coffees and tasty, home baked savoury and sweet treats. I've enjoyed a selection of their beautiful cakes, soups, quiches and their sausage rolls are to die for! I love to browse at their selection of gifts etc for sale and have picked up some lovely items and at reasonable prices too. A lovely relaxing atmosphere and well worth a visit.

I think the strength of bettys is the sweeter treats as it is not one of those places that go heavy on breakfast. I visit bettys on a weekly basis as a midway stop on my 9 mile walk and I have to say that the coffee is the best I have had (americano). When visiting with my wife we found the cake selection and quality to be excellent. It is a small place but there is seating outside so enjoy.

Recently opened, a lovely little place with good homemade food and friendly staff. Definitely service with a smile! Menu isn’t extensive but what there is is certainly very good. I recommend the sausage rolls and scones.

First visit today, very pleasant atmosphere and staff. The food was excellent and would really recommend a visit. If i was to give constructive criticism, i would say the cafe would benefit from a wider range of savoury dishes for lunch service which would make them a high competitor with other cafes in the area. Saying this i really enjoyed my visit and food, i had 'posh mushrooms on toast' with a latte and salted caramel brownie and thoroughly enjoyed it. 👍

A lovely, child friendly cafe. Went for coffee, stayed for lunch. Will call again soon. A walk in shincliffe woods followed by lunch would be perfect.

Dynamic, engaging and excellent in its offer of food, customer service and environment. Beautifully converted old post office in High Shincliffe. Has space for all ages. The cakes and savouries are homemade, of exceptional quality and the StormTea had fab flavour. The young owners and sister in law love their business start up and it's spot on. Open decent hours. Loved our first time visit, and chats with Helen and young Zoe, all thanks to a word of mouth recommendation.

Have now visted here a couple of times. Very warm welcome and homely atmosphere. Have sampled a variety of cakes and scones and all delicious. Well worth a visit and some lovely gifts to browse Now visited here several times never disappointed. Attended great wreath making class, coffee shop with a difference. Well worth a visit

A really lovely little cafe with delicious homecooked food, great coffee & friendly staff! There’s a lovely little play section for kiddies which means parents/grandparents can enjoy a hot cup of coffee as the kiddies are entertained! The owners have put their heart and soul into this place and you can really tell. Would highly recommend!

A beautiful little coffee shop in a lovely location. The staff are extremely friendly and the freshly homemade cakes and scones are delicious. It caters for everyone and is very friendly for anyone with small children. The menu is ever changing and there are also plenty of unique gifts for you to buy. Always a joy to visit

Amazing service and beautiful interior

So pleased this cafe has opened in Shincliffe. We have been waiting a long time for such a place. Great coffee and super homemade cakes. Very tastefully decorated and friendly environment. It's a great meeting place for coffee and lunch. I look forward to many more visits.
