Pavillion Cafe in Oldham

So wemt there after trying to find a menu online. Seen several photos customers had previously uploaded less than a year ago mind. These state several breakfast sandwich options, a flew pastures and chips etc. Walked down yesterday and no chips whatsoever. No egg for breakfast sandwiches and the icing in the eipnoff terribly awful choice excuse of a "menu" they asked for £4 JUST FOR BACON ON PLAIN WHITE CHEAP BREAD! £4!!! AVOID PEPPLE. Rubbish place, even worse options and terribly for kids or a vegetarian. Walk the couple mins to Martins bakers. What kind of cafe doesn't serve basics. They jandt sold out wither they never sell it. It's a joke and a rip off over priced waste of time.

Three of us went for a long walk down Rochdale Canal with our dog, Charlie, and called in here for some lunch. Lovely decor, friendly staff & the cheese & onion pie was lip-smacking tasty! Hubby had the corned beef hash & loved it. Great location & quiet just inside the park gates, plenty of parking spaces. We will definitely be back another time!

Went for usually coffee and bacon bap after Parkrun but it was cash only. I don’t know anywhere that’s cash only in 2024. We didn’t eat here

The menu has been changed not much choice and expensive for what you get. Very disappointed as used to go regularly for a good hot meal. Won't be visiting again unless more choice. Sorry.

Me and my wife ordered two cheese and onion pie,chips peas and two teas . All was lovely and it was nice to see locals using the place. Nice atmosphere and we had a lovely walk around the park after.

During Lockdown, we have been a regular doing a non parkrun on the Chadderton course ( that will make sense to parkrunners!). This cafe has become a regular feature of our post non parkrun run. The coffee is good and the attention to detail from the staff is spot on. We ordered 4 different drinks and they were put in the holder to match our place sittings. The customer service here is amazing. See you on Saturday for our regular order.

The Pavilion Cafe is really the heart of Chadderton Hall Park,i have called in on many occasions,this time i am writing as i have recently joined a walking group,that meet & leave from the cafe, Chadderton park steppers meet about 9,45am on a Friday,leaving 10am promt,taking a walk around the local countryside, for around one & a half hours,nothing to strenuous, before returning back too the Pavilion for a brew,bite to eat & chat..No better place.

Hade varit på lancaster park and farm med barnen och tog en liten promenad hit för att äta lunch och ta en kaffe. Bra mat, åt fish and chips och barnen Nuggets. Bra priser, ej dyrt. Obs! Är osäker på om dom tar kort. Tror det bara är cash som funkar.

had lunch here today, had the potato pie with beetroot, piping hot and plenty of it. super tasty and delicious. will be eating here again when passing through the area

We were staying with friends and did the Saturday Morning Park Run (5 km). The cafe had friendly staff, tasty food, cheap prices and quick service.

Lovely little cafe situated in chadderton park. Nice food, friendly staff. Just need to have proper opening/closing times as when you feel like going it’s based on pure luck that it’ll be open.

Love this little place. Friendly staff, homecooked tasty food and cheap prices. Situated in the park, it has outside space to dine when the weather is nice. It serves ice creams, sandwiches, cakes, does a great breakfast, always has home cooked food like pies, lasagne and stews available. Love going here for a coffee, lunch and a wander around the park.

A wonderful way to spend a Good Friday afternoon with my children and grandchildren food lovely could not believe the extensive menu and the reasonable prices lovely friendly staff we will definately be coming again

I visited the cafe today for the very first time. I took my mother-in-law and my 17 month old daughter. We couldn't believe the range of food on offer. The cafe was impeccably clean and the staff were super friendly and helpful. The food we ordered was delicious. There's a book exchange in the cafe and free newspapers. There are blankets to wrap up in when sitting outside and plenty of high chairs. We'd love to visit again soon and would recommend to everybody. Come and support a fabulous local business!

The range of food is far more extensive than you expect from a park cafe and it is all really good. Through the summer you can have afternoon tea whilst watching a game of bowls on the green opposite. Bring your own bowls and have a roll yourself if it's free
