When we arrived in store the cafe was closed due to staff shortages. It opened late with one member of staff so we had a long wait. However, the young man serving gave a masterclass in how to be unfazed in adversity!!! He was efficient, polite and diligent, a credit to your company. Well done, give him a pay rise!

Waited in the que for ages to be served ,one person serving. No one seemed to be helping with the long que. when we got served it took ages just to do two coffees. Either your coffee machine was on a go slow or the your staff was on a go slow. Finally got our coffee. It tasted very bitter was not nice. One was coffee was a sweet one it was awful. Will not be going back there again. I recommend you avoid this cafe.

Got there early so the cafe was quiet. Had a very nice bacon bap and outstanding lemon cheesecake and the coffee as usual was very good. Wait time was very good. I have always thought that Pausa food was underrated as it is always of very good quality. At busy times service can slow down but that is to be expected and food is worth the wait.

This used to be our favourite place for a light lunch or good cuppa before pandemic but after reading recent reviews almost skipped going. The menu has changed slightly but still good choices available. Delighted to see the same kind staff there. They certainly aren't rude and are always helpful, accommodating and make sure our table is clean. They had a good lunch selection as it was 12.15 but we went for a cake and latte. Very reasonably priced and the latte was one of the best we've had - and we drink a lot of lattes!! So well done all of you. We will be back!

Gor there at 12 15 pm ,just missed out on the bacon baps, thought I try the new wrap they are advertising, when asked what they were only to be told what's in the fridge ,looked to see there was none,what time does lunch start here if baps finshed at 12pm ,this was Wednesday and cafe was quite empty . Worst service I've ever experienced. Queued for ages as the staff bickered amongst themselves and struggled to handle orders. Tried to order a tea but was told there would be a long wait due to lack of tea pots, so ordered a couple of coffees instead. After standing around, we had to ask if we wait or sit down. Sat down for 15 minutes and eventually received our coffees (both of which were wrong). The cups and saucers has clearly just been rushed through the dishwasher as they were wet and filthy. Waited another 15 mins before I had to go to the counter and ask where our doughnuts were. Was told that they none left, despite taking the money and having them at the counter when we paid!! Stood around another 10 mins for the staff to figure out the refund. . Tables were also filthy and full of rubbish that hadn't been cleared. Absolutely terrible experience. Do NOT waste your time and money.

Never go around lunch time unless you want an hour wait for toasted sandwiches. The man was rude towards customers and did not seem to care! Tea was cold by the time my food arrived. And staff did not seem to care about us.

Todo lo que queríamos era 2 tostadas, una lata de pop y un café. Esto era demasiado complejo para el personal del café pausa en dunelm mill oxford. Primero, el lugar estaba totalmente vacío, pero aún había una cola, la pareja frente a mí se hizo eco de mis comentarios sobre el servicio. Cuando llegamos al frente de la fila, el personal decidió que tenían mejores cosas que hacer y simplemente nos ignoraron por completo. Cuando alguien finalmente nos atendió, nos acusaron mal dos veces, luego vi cómo se ponían las tostadas cerca del horno y se fueron hasta que otro miembro del personal salió de Dios sabe dónde y pensé que podría ser una buena idea calentarlas. . Entonces, en total, se tomó la mejor parte de una hora para dos sándwiches tostados (PRE EMPAQUETADOS) y un café decepcionante. El personal necesita una capacitación seria en servicio al cliente y un cohete donde el sol no brille.

Nos detuvimos en el café para tomar un bocado rápido, o eso pensamos. El miembro del personal fue muy lento y parecía haber perdido todo entusiasmo. Nuestro pedido fue un bap de salchicha, un bap de brunch y un bap vegetariano. Después de ordenar, nos aconsejó que no había opción vegetariana ya que no había tenido tiempo de hacer ninguna. Luego nos informó que sería una espera de unos 15 minutos, con lo que decidimos que podríamos vivir. Una vez que pagamos, dijo: "Ah, y no tenemos baps, por lo que será un brindis". Había perdido la voluntad en este punto, así que acordamos y tomamos asiento. El lugar estaba vacío. Después de que nos sentamos, entró otra pareja y ordenó dos pasteles de té tostados, ahora el nuestro tardó al menos 20 minutos desde el pedido hasta que se sacó la comida, por lo que la pareja debe haber esperado al menos 30 minutos para esos pasteles de té mientras comenzaba a tostar ellos después de que sacara el nuestro. Si mis hijos no hubieran tenido hambre y hubieran terminado una larga sesión deportiva, me habría ido. El lugar parecía limpio. La comida se veía bien, pero como no había opción vegetariana, me senté y vi a mis hijos comer. Los niños dijeron que estaba bien probar pero no lo volverían a comer. Creo que volvería a visitar para tomar un aperitivo o una bebida, pero nada más.

Entré para un rápido panini y café. No hay tal suerte. 2 jóvenes empleados haciendo todo lo posible para hacer frente. Cuando se ofreció el panini, se nos recomendó esperar por lo menos 15 minutos. . . . por qué, porque 2 empleados no habían llegado al trabajo y solo había un horno en uso para papas fritas y todo lo demás. Profusas disculpas de una joven. ¿Por qué el gerente / supervisor no está manejando esta situación? No solo perdieron 15 de nosotros, sino que otros 3 clientes siguieron su ejemplo y se fueron también. Costa, está justo bajando la calle y bueno, como alternativa. Vamos Pausa, necesitas mejorar tu juego, de lo contrario irás a la pared, lo que será una gran vergüenza.

Dunelm solía servir un hermoso y plano blanco en una "taza regular", ya que la restauración y el nuevo entrenamiento ahora están en una taza pequeña sin opción de pagar un poco más por la taza regular, ¿así que ya no la tendré? También los sándwiches siempre venían con una ensalada, pero ya no. . . . . Para rematar la decepción, esta vez tuve que hacer cola durante 10 minutos y luego no encontrar papas fritas ya que la entrega no había llegado. Desearía haber ido por el camino a la tienda de Waitrose.

Ha sido la costumbre para mi esposa y para mí después de comprar comestibles cerca (aproximadamente cada 3 semanas) llamar aquí para tomar un café a última hora de la mañana y un refrigerio ligero. Conocimos a un par de mujeres que nos servían regularmente y siempre fueron alegres y conversadoras dentro de lo razonable. El servicio fue al menos adecuado y fue una experiencia agradable. Recientemente, sin embargo, la cafetería ha sufrido una transformación, pero desafortunadamente es para peor. Al quitar los baños y la cocina del personal, han movido todo el café más hacia atrás, pero se ha ganado poco o nada a través del espacio para comer porque ahora hay un área adicional de pisos de la tienda al lado del elevador. Los baños están ahora en el extremo más alejado del piso. Con la pérdida de la cocina, el personal ahora está empujando en un espacio reducido para servir, lavar los platos, etc. Peor aún, el área de servicio de los clientes se reduce en longitud y el servicio es más lento, por lo que hay otros clientes que intentan ponerse sobre usted para llegar a la máquina de tarjetas (no es bueno para la privacidad) o al personal que llega a más de un cliente (por ejemplo, con tazones de té caliente) para servir al siguiente. Las buenas damas que sabíamos se han ido, y el nuevo personal más joven está demasiado ocupado como para reconocer su presencia. El café está bien y los bocadillos son justos pero limitados. Parece un título reaccionario y dramático para la crítica de caf. Piensa que es más como una "nota para uno mismo".He estado aquí antes y la espera en la cola es simplemente una manera, mucho más allá de cualquier otro lugar al que pueda recordar, en este momento exacto.Pero, no soy impaciente. El "insulto a la lesión" es cómo mi café con leche no era potable.Supongo que ninguno de los empleados tiene / entiende la cultura de los cafés. Se parecen más a los asistentes de una tienda del supermercado.Es una pena, el comercio existe aquí, para una cafetería, pero el cliente se está vendiendo muy poco.

Entró en un café festivo después de algunas compras de Nochebuena para ser atendidos por un joven muy malhumorado que llevaba un jersey Bah Humbug. La mayoría de las personas que conozco que las usan, lo hacen con ironía, pero este tipo claramente no lo hizo. Como tengo cafés de un solo disparo, siempre pido que se deduzcan 30 p debido a que un trago adicional es de 30 p extra. Nunca antes se me había negado a esto, pero en esta ocasión, me dijeron: "No hacemos eso". Bueno, sí lo haces, porque siempre lo has hecho antes. Cuando traté de aligerarlo con "Oh, vamos, ¡es Navidad! "El Grinch aún no pudo sonreír y confirmó con su colega que el servicio al cliente era aceptable. Afortunadamente el colega tenía un vestigio más de espíritu navideño y estuvo de acuerdo. El resto de la transacción continuó en silencio sin ninguna oferta de chispitas de chocolate que tuve que solicitar. ¡La próxima vez también solicitará una sonrisa, contacto visual y un poco de alegría navideña! Pensándolo bien, la próxima vez iré a otro lado.

Esperé mucho tiempo en un día relativamente tranquilo para una papa con gambas, sopa y un rollo. La papa de la chaqueta era pequeña y el relleno muy escaso! La sopa estaba bien, pero el rollo se había calentado durante demasiado tiempo y estaba seco y duro. Es una pena porque no hay muchos cafés alrededor de esa área.

i went here not to long ago the guy serving took very long to make a hot chocolate that tasted like water i've also never seen marshmallows go in the bottom under the whipped creme.. everyone i was with got a lotus biscuit on the side i diddn't despite ordering the same thing? we looked at sandwiches and toasties but as £3 at least, for a cheese toastie ... ill pass thanks. my mum wanted a scone the guy said you have to have a tea with it my mum said she diddnt want the tea and he insisted she had to have it 3 times...

Pack of sandwiches was dry on one side and soggy on the other. Obviously been in cold storage. Took back to counter, explained, for a refund, bought a cake. Not a word of apology or query from man on till. Nobody came out to us to apologise. Won't be going there again!

Not only can we catch up in a central place, but also can we both afterwards shop around and get some things we need in the household, nice interior or gifts. The cafe is well run and offers the most beautiful cakes (Please guys, don't change your ranges - they are soooo yummy), lovely coffee, unsweetened soya milk (huge PLUS) and other things you'd expect to find in a cafe. The staff is always friendly and helpful. They even have food with gluten-free options, which is anohter huge PLUS.

If you are shopping here eat or drink after as it will ruin you Dunelm experience. Some of the worst customer service you will see and experience can be found here. It is that bad you think they must just be having an off day but no, I have been here a few times and it is consistent. If it was not for the good food and nice cream tea I would not go back.

Good hot coffee whilst looking out over the shop. Nice hot toasted fruit bread thingee. BUT every time we go in here it takes FOREVER to be served due to the lack of staff. Come on Dunelm if you are going to have a cafe equip it with the correct number of staff!!

Came to Marks and Spencer for coffee, asked for our tea and tea cakes! They did not have any tea cakes, this happens frequently when going to their cafes. All they say is it’s not available on that day, but it happens frequently!!! I’ve complained for years about this, not having goats or soya milk in the cafe!! They sell it in the shop, so they do have it!!! When toast came it was warm to say the least!!! Also staff were rude, they seemed annoyed we even asked and asked why it happens a lot! We didn’t really get an answer! Also when trying to pay the lady was rude and told me I had to wait, but she was really abrupt!!! Made me feel like I was an inconvenience! If I spoke to my patients like that, I would be warned!!! When we walked to the tables not one was clean, we had sat down for about 10 minutes before they started to clear them!!! Inefficiency at its best!!!

I have ordered coffee 4 times there over the last 6 months, and everytime it has been undrinkable. The Americano in particular is bitter water with no taste of coffee. I noticed that their espresso brewhead is much shallower than most coffee machines, so they pack much less coffee than in other cafes. I had coffee with other people here and all have the same complaints. The cakes and pastries are fine though, that's why I give it a 2.

Yep, another day trip to Oxford having been introduced to Knoops last December. A range from 34% to 80% this time. Three out of four excellent. The 80% was rather disappointing, probably down to the fact that it was vegan ( had not spotted that) such that different milk was used and possibly more water. Will concentrate on the 70% for our next visit. Blueberry slices and Pain au Chocolat both fabulous. And great service. Hayling Seagoon

Actually, we had a number of dinners & breakfast during the 5 days in Oxford. The quality of food and service was superb! The level of cuisine is quite high -- especially the Tagine -- not to miss.
