Ordered a jacket potato with chilli con carne when it arrived it looked absolutely disgusting it was nothing like chilli con carne it was a jacket potato with lumps of burnt dry scrapings no sauce at all. I’ve worked in catering for years and nothing like that would ever have left my kitchen let alone served to a paying customer. I was offered another drink while I waited for a replacement (not chilli con carne!!!) which I refused. I was totally underwhelmed by the whole experience and won’t be returning any time soon. Only sorry I didn’t take photographs before I sent it back!!!

what is wrong with this cafe now? we used to really like this place and visited quite regularly as we do a lot shopping in dunelm. They recently advertised a cooked breakfast so thought wed try it... no sausage, no bacon ? at 10am... really ? it wasn't busy at all Attitude of a certain male server leaves a lot to be desired i think he needs some customer service training in manners...won't return

It’s been quite some time since I visited this establishment and will be a very long time until I visit again. Having been on a shopping trip we popped into this cafe for a cup coffee and hot sandwich. One male member serving behind counter. Full marks to him having to cope taking orders serving cold food making teas coffees etc and then taking payment. Three members of staff can be heard in kitchen area. One I assume to be manageress berating one of the staff loud enough to be heard in the cafe. Young lady bringing out food with long hair hanging down back long sleeves not totally hygienic. Totally to cap it all no white bread or white baps only brown. This on a Sunday morning. Enough cafes in vicinity can take this trade away.

Myself and a friend went for food , we ordered jacket potato tuna mayo salad and coleslaw , we waited 40 minutes for our food and it comes out with jacket potato and coleslaw so it got sent back (the lady behind till said sorry about wait it’s all made fresh) then we waited another 30 minutes at this point we were going to go and get refund but young lady came with food and said sorry about your wait and said it’s taken so long because it was still cold in the middle (eh) so was food made fresh or was it frozen! Also the coleslaw was rotten and salad , will not be going for food again .

A solid 2 out of 5......2 for the coffee and the millionaires slice...... And then a big fat 0 for service, wait time and sandwich! Where was the tuna in the tuna slice? How did it take 10 minutes to heat up our bread? On the other hand the coffee is fair

Had lunch here when shopping at Dunelm.Panninis were fine but the tables were not being cleared and people were having to clear the plates and rubbish to get a table. Not very good unless there was a staff shortage when we went.

Visited twice within the past month mostly out of convenience when out shopping and hunger hits. First visit we ordered toasted sandwiches. By the time they arrived we had finished our put of tea. Plenty of staff around busy clearing tables but slow food service at a very quiet time. Second visit - order included a pure prepared sandwich and a toasted sandwich. Again a very long wait for the toasted sandwich. Nice pleasant staff but the ordering and food delivery system just appears to be out of kilter! The cafe is in a fab location within Dunelm and could be an absolute gem with a few tweaks and changes.

Just called for a coffee, but offered a cream tea - the scone cream and jam were excellent, but coffee I found a bit strong. Very VERY good value.

When Dunelm first came to Cramlington the front of house staff mainly Lesley and Stephen were first class-excellent service, good personalities, very quick in serving you and was an enjoyable experience-we went several times a week and at last there was a decent café to go to,even took my mother on occasions with 25 years catering experience behind her, however, the above seem to have been put in the kitchen and you are served now by 2 men, whilst the one is pleasant the other's service is so slow as they both seem to serve you at the same time thus confusing themselves and causing queues, you are not given the cutlery unless you ask,the last 3 times anyway, free side biscuits are not given, last twice-the counter is not stocked sufficiently thus leading to us going elsewhere. The receipt you are given to enter a draw asks online for feedback and if you want someone to contact which they never do - great shame.

We often come here as its good quality food and serves a nice coffee. The cafe is popular and can get busy at times. The cafe has a nice atmosphere. Always good to have a look around Dunelm afterwards too.

We often come here for a coffee and bite to eat. A nice cosy cafe in the Dunelm shop. Quite popular and nice food and coffee is ok too.....Only thing I would say is at times you wait a while in the queue.

we regularly go here on a Saturday morning following a Library trip (who says my wild days are over?). Toast is spectacular, we're not talking 2 slices of Mothers Oride her, it's proper sliced bread usually perfectly golden and served with butter & optional preserve (extra cost). Cakes are pretty good too and not at all pricey.

Small café within the Dunelm Mill store. Plenty of free parking. On first floor, steps or lift to access. Breakfasts till 11:30. Limited lunch choice of pre-prepared sandwiches, toasties and paninis, soup or jacket potatoes, all done nicely. Side salads small but fresh. Coffee really good. Not enough staff manning counter at busy periods (should have one person dedicated to coffee making while others serve food). Nice range of good-looking cakes. Staff always polite and helpful

Amazing Sunday dinner, served so quickly by wonderfully friendly staff - the beef was beautifully tender and the vegetables were well seasoned. The place was full of happy customers!

This cafe in Hexham has a great atmosphere for a supermarket cafe. The staff are friendly and the food is great.
