PAUL King's Road in Kensington and Chelsea

I walked in with a friend and asked if they had iced lattes and she shouted at me "no and that she had other customers." When my friend asked her a question her attitude was completely different, she was smiling and nice but to me was completely hostile and angry on top of this the hot latte I ordered was lukewarm. Terrible server, terrible coffee. The review should be no stars.

I always use the App to pay . Today, the lady made a mistake and she charged me the hot drinks twice (a latte and a hot chocolate extra). I asked for a refund and the manager (Kat) said it wasn’t possible, as I had used the App to pay. She told me: “ if you want your money back, you need to call the Customer Service”. I could’t believe it!. No service recovery at all, very rude attitude and a big lack of care to deal with the issue. Even, she said that she had other people waiting. Not to mention that we are regular guests since 2013.

The coffee, pain at chocolate and coronation chicken sandwich were fine. However, there were signs all over this store which were hectoring customers. There were 3 signs alone in the loo about not putting nappies down the loo. Why do you need 3? One would do. There was a bank of 3 signs in the main restaurant, one of which told customers they were being covered by CCTV and another reminding us that our property was our own risk and another telling us to order at the counter. And elsewhere, yet another telling customers they would be reported to the Police for fraud. I found this overuse of signs to be completely bizarre. I don’t want to be surrounded by this negative messaging whilst I’m having my lunch and I won’t be eating at Paul again. Let’s hope someone sensible from the company reads this and takes action.

Nice place over priced but for a special occasion, nice to treat yourself. Disappointed with the toilets , not perfect for me with toilet tissues everywhere. But someone did bother to clean them straight away. Food display was excellent, there was a lot when we arrived , when we left lot had gone , which is a good example it has a good representation. My Christmas tree chocolates was lovely .

Lorsque je vais dans un commerce, je souris, je suis polie, j'utilise les termes bonjour, pourrais-je avoir, s'il vous plaît, merci et aurevoir. J'en attends tout autant des commerçants. Nous sommes allés 5 matins de suite dans cet endroit, avons consommé sur place. Les vendeuses sont très peu affables, à peine polies, on a l'impression de les ennuyer plus qu'autre chose. Le dernier matin, nous étions les premiers clients à 7H30 du matin et nous avons constaté que des tables et des banquettes portaient encore les miettes de la veille. Pas vraiment acceptable, au vu des prix pratiqués, on attend un meilleur service. Quand on quitte les lieux, les serveuses ne lèvent même pas la tête, ne saluent et ne remercient pas. Pour mon prochain voyage à Londres il est clair que je privilégierai d'autres endroits.

I was buying a cappuccino for my wife (she loves them there) and I was surprised by how good-natured Gabriele & Lara were; this prompted me to leave a review as I don't encounter such good service in London

Four of us popped in for a late lunch. Nothing special but reasonably good value for Chelsea and the venue was clean & tidy. The food (filled sourdough sticks etc) was fresh and tasty. Coffee was OK. Some members of staff OK; one was very uncommunicative & inefficient.

The coffee, beignets and almond croissant were delicious which was the most important factor, marred by a trip to the toilet that can only be accessed by a code printed on the receipt and was a disgusting experience. They are apparently checked regularly, not sure what is classed as a regular interval judging by the state of them. Keeping out all and sundry to exclusively for paying customers doesn’t seem to ensure standards either.

Amazing coffee shop. Their sandwiches and pastries is a must try!! Delivery available on request. They also do platters and customise cakes for any occasion you may have. Staff is very friendly and the shop is always clean. It’s worth a visit!!

Paul has been a favourite of mine for years and when you find a well run one with passionate staff you cannot beat them for coffee and pastries Kings Road Paul this morning was at its best. Cappuccinos Rich & creamy hot and creamy until the bottom of the cup. Pain au Raisin fresh soft and full of raisins freshly made in the shop ovens. My favourites are the filled croissants ( ham & cheese) again fresh. They have now got up to date also with an app which gives you credits the more you eat & drink at Paul. Eating and drinking here is only a small part of the business as they do a lot of takeaway and have beautiful pastries & cakes. If you haven’t tried Pauls get in there.

Popped in on a Saturday morning for a drink and snack. We were greeted warmly by a member of staff and she served us swiftly. We found a clear table in the seating area and were impressed with how bright and airy it was with newspapers to browse. In the very short time it took to serve us there were a couple of couriers arriving to take packages away for customers so they have a thriving take away business too. All in all a great stop for us and we enjoyed our visit.

Rudest staff. It closes at 7:30 however if you go at 7 they are already cleaning up and won’t even serve coffee anymore or any drinks that use a machine

日本も大変お世話になっているPAUL。 日本と変わらないサービスでテキパキ仕事をするスタッフさんが入ってすぐに挨拶をして 下さって異国なのに安心しちゃいました。サラダとパニーニを選んでテイクアウト。サラダにはカットしたバゲットを付けてくれました。サラダのドレッシングがとても美味しかったです。パンは安定の美味しさでした。 お店も清潔感があって奥にはイートインスペースもありました。

Just arrived from an overnight flight from Philadelphia, this was the perfect place for a light lunch before a nap. Sandwiches excellent as was the coffee. It's a small place, not many tables, fortunately at 11.30 am it was not full, by the time we left there was a queue for our table.

We went in for breakfast, the cappuccinos were very good and the pastries were very nice too. We also got 2 sandwiches for a take away lunch which were fresh and tasty. The place was clean and the staff is very helpful!

Paul’s bakery at Chelsea area is one of my favorite spots. Perfect, to grab a sweat bite and coffee! Definitely try the lemon pie!

Visited Kings Road branch earlier today. Was served by a charming woman. I bought two loaf of bread which was yummi and four slices of cake - all different ones Rhubarb, Apricot, Mixed Berry ... at £3.60 a slice you would expect it to be...

I ordered a tuna sandwich, the bread was hard, the tray the waitress gave me was horribly dirty, than I had to ask someone from staff to clean the table - there was not one clean, even with more than a half empty. No napkins....

A very busy smallish coffee/lunch spot. Nice baguettes, pies, and a variety of baked goods are available to eat in or take away. We enjoyed the food selections. Pleasant space which is not too loud makes it easier to enjoy than some others. Recommended.

Mice in the cafe floor looking for food then go hide behind the couch. Manager has been informed. The staff knows about it but they are there.
