Belvedere in Kensington and Chelsea

I have now been to Belvedere on 5 occasions and the consistency is what strikes me! Really great food and wine with nice cocktail selection too. The staff are always friendly and it’s great for a casual but intimate dinner.

Mario our server was spectacular! His service was top-notched. So glad we celebrated our anniversary here. Highly recommend their crab pasta. Lovely venue, like we’ve been transported to Italy. Too top it off we were presented with an anniversary tiramisu at the end. Thank you so much!

Lovely restaurant in the beautiful Holland Park gardens. Great interior, well frequented by regulars, excellent attentive staff and fabulous food.

Disappointed with the service. Host welcomes us to seat us for teas/coffees but others - who arrived at the same time - were served before us and given a proper table. We were being moved from table to table a few times. Understand that we came in between the lunch and dinner shift but this should have been made clear to us by the host instead of making us feel unwelcome in the restaurant

Loved everything from arrival to departure! Definitely coming back. A lot of Italian restaurants only have great decor and then the food is meh so I’m happy they also pay attention to the actual quality of the food and drinks 👌🏼 excellent wine list as well!

Pretty much every aspect of Belvedere: location, ambience, service and food is immaculate. It feels posh, but not pretentious. New owners and head chef have set the bar for high-end Italian so high I’m never ordering vitello tonnato or burrata anywhere else, and pasta for that matter too. Great wine list and a very knowledgeable sommelier 🍷

wow, what an amazing experience I had, the food was amazing. Chef Lello came out to greet me as well as the manager Jessica. I ate the fig salad, beetroot ravioli and the filet of beef with a perfect red wine to enhance the flavors. The food was amazing the flavors just came together and melted in your mouth. I had been to several other restaurant this week, Ivy Cafe and Santa More which were both good but the Belvedere was a class in it self. The service was impeccable as well, all the staff works together so you can enjoy yourself. I had a great night which i hope to repeat when I come back to London in June.

The location is extremely beautiful, the food is excellent and the staff is attentive and courteous. It bothers me when music is played so loudly in a restaurant that it is no longer possible to have a conversation at the usual volume. At my request it was turned down, but then it became clear why the music was necessary because the conversations of the other guests could then be clearly heard. Better sound insulation? The chef is inspired and cooks interestingly combined dishes. We are excited.

Thank you for the beautiful diner. The place is magical, the service impeccable and the food delicious. It’s rare in London these days to find a restaurant that well staffed (both in quantity and quality). Came there twice already and can’t wait to come back again.

Belvedere is a thing of beauty! Such a tasteful restaurant, from decor to lighting, tableware, music… Cuisine is very much produce-led: amazing ingredients and flavours that truly shine. I personally have the utmost respect for chefs who put their ego aside and don’t overdo it chasing all the latest trends. An elegant take on the classics will always win. I would come back just for that langoustine carpaccio alone! And even without any stars the restaurant is worth a detour, a special journey even.

Had a splendid time at Belvedere! The location and interiors are definitely a wow-factor. But their hospitality was what really won me over. We felt welcomed from the moment we stepped inside. Everyone was super nice and friendly, yet not at all intrusive, each with their own style and character. Awesome to see a team that is so diverse and charming! A delightful experience at Belvedere for our friend's birthday, food and service were spot on and we're glad to have found this hidden gem in Holland Park. The service was friendly, attentive but not intrusive. Before our meal I had contacted them to specifically requested a table that would suit our dog and they gladly accommodated it. One of the staff was super nice to our baby girl giving her a treat and giving her attention. For starters we had the Japanese Kingfish Carparccio, Calamari Fritti & Crispy Kale, Hand Dived Grilled Scallop. For Mains we had Spaghetti with Cornish Crab, Beef Tortello and Fillet Steak with porcini mushrooms, hand cut chips, purple broccoli and tomato salad sides. For dessert we had the tiramisu, cheese plate and cannoli. The meal was tasty with quality ingredients and the flavours were not too overpowering. We also tried a selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. The only minor thing I would say is that the music when we first arrived was quite loud and the heating could have been a tad higher, but other than that the venue really is a magical. On menu is on the pricier side but definitely worth it for the service and quality. Would recommend and come back again.

Hidden away in Holland Park, this restaurant is beautifully decorated and it truly feels like you’ve stepped away from London and been transformed abroad. The food, although on the expensive side, is delicious and mouth watering. Meeting friends, we got a selection of starters and then mains to share, which was the perfect amount for the four of us. I’d highly recommend the tuna starter and veal for main, which was beyond delicious. I certainly will be visiting again!

The food was very good. Definitely on the expensive scale, but the scenery of the restaurant makes up for it. The service was also top notch. It is perfect for groups or family gatherings as the ambiance is more on the elegant laid-back side of things.

Top quality ingredients. Handmade pasta was delicious. Truly the best pasta i have ever had even after having been to italy for 3 months. For me personally it was precisely al dente without being undercooked and without being too soft. Just perfect. Wine selection is great also. The atmosphere and interior really enhances the experience.

Celebrated a birthday there and the staff and event staff were all amazing. Extremely helpful, friendly, quick to communicate and managed to make it very special. Special thanks to Giulia who helped answer any questions and did a wonderful job organising this event. The food was delicious and the service was perfect. Highly recommend!

Of all the places within this group Belvedere is definitely my favorite. It’s just one of a kind: the history, the ambience, the setting. And while food is similar high-end Italian as in the other two (Wild Tavern & Wild Notting Hill), the overall experience is way more special. I felt like in this location, these interiors and with the level of service we received prices were totally justified. We even found pizza to be a very friendly addition to the menu, our daughter was delighted. Big plus for the extra care in creating a true holiday spirit too! Highly recommend for weekend lunch if you don’t mind lots of little ones around. Otherwise - a perfect spot for a romantic dinner.

What a grand restaurant! For tourists it’s sometimes hard to come across these hidden gems without a local’s recommendation. Belvedere is located inside Holland park and if we weren’t there for the Kyoto Gardens we wouldn’t have learnt such place exists. So glad we did! And even more so that they found a table for us without a booking. I’d reserve in advance though, it looked very busy as the evening progressed. Dinner here was a perfect finish to our weekend in London and truly one of the best dining experiences in a very long time. A big thank you to the entire team, and especially to the fantastic sommelier!

Absolutely stunning restaurant with delicious Italian fare - the tuna tartare, langoustine carpaccio, tagliolini with truffle, pear pizza and beef ravioli were divine! The servers were rushing us a bit and constantly coming over, which wasn’t the best experience. But the decor and the food are well worth the price, will definitely be back!

Good food, nice atmosphere if you are seated away from the open kitchen. The chef was shouting very loudly the orders and spoiled the evening. The service can definitely be improved, we waited a lot and waiters should have taken better care of us.

The Belvedere is an amazing place to go for lunch, dinner but also for a special occasion. We had our wedding reception lunch at the Belvedere and we couldn’t have wished for a better venue. Staff was very helpful, friendly and every dish was simply delicious! Even vegan and gluten-free requests were taken care of. The whole atmosphere at the Belvedere is just one of a kind and we could recommend this beautiful restaurant more! A wonderful evening at the STUNNING Belvedere Restaurant in Holland Park. I highly recommend this to all who are around Holland Park/Notting Hill/Kensington area. Price is £100+/pp so at the higher end, but incredible location, venue, food and staff, so worth the money in every way. Thank you for such a great experience.

Ridiculous prices and portions for pasta. If I was the owner, honestly, I would be ashamed to bring such small pasta portions on the table and charge somebody from £30 to £50 (!!!) for it. One of the pastas had literally 5 tortellini in. It really costs you less than £2. Stop taking so much advantage of the financial capabilities of a human being. If it wasn’t for the atmosphere and the kind, helpful waiters I would have given 1-star. I feel like that some restaurants belittle our abilities to think and understand certain things.. it is disappointing sorry.

Definitely not your ordinary restaurant. Even considering the area, this looks and feels different. Posh doesn’t describe it; rather an understated elegance and something from a bygone era...the interior and atmosphere are those of an old Tuscan villa. Naturally prices on the higher end, but so worth it for a special treat.

Stunning location & setting! It’s probably one of the most beautiful restaurants in London. Perfect for a romantic date or special occasion. Raw bar seafood was a delight. I’m not a big fan of tuna, but here even I enjoyed the tartare. Kingfish carpaccio was my fav, as well as the scallops.

Our daughter and son in law held their wedding reception here in August. The Belvedere made the day so special. Such a beautiful venue, such pleasant staff and as for the meal… it was delicious! All the guests commented on the fab venue and wonderful food. Special thanks to Valentina who made sure everything was perfect😊

My main course was ONE langoustine for £50 It's the most ridiculous thing. Criminal really. I shall not be returning. Ever.

A beautiful setting in Holland Park. We went for lunch today. Slow to seat us, slower to get us water, even slower to bring us menus, unbelievably slow to get the food to us. £222 for 2 starters, 2 small mains and 2 glasses of house wine each. Terrible value for money. The food was OK. Not great. I won’t be back….

Lovely place. It is very expensive and doesn't cater well to people with allergies. I would have loved to have tried a pasta dish, but all their pasta contains egg. What I did try tasted very nice.

On a sunny day take cocktails on the terrace overlooking the gardens. Like stepping into an Italian Tuscan Villa in London.

The restaurant is beautiful an Oasis in the middle of Holland park. The service was impeccable. The ingredients used to prepare the food were of the highest quality. The veal was probably the best I've tasted. I took one star off because we were offered Bolognese as a special........I'm finding it hard to write the word bolognese and special in the same sentence! We went early evening for a quick one course dinner before going to Opera Holland Park so it was too early to get the full flavour of the place and it’s food offering but it was good enough to warrant a return trip where we allow enough time to enjoy everything they have to offer

Nice place and nice food but my friend (Ukranian refugee) asked for a small glass of house red and got charged £32 for a glass of ordinary Chianti! That seems very unfair! At least the waiter could have warned her! it is more than she earns in a day!

I went for a pre-opera meal, much changed since before the pandemic although the same name. Amazing service and food, would definitely recommend for those whose budget allows.

Nice receptionist. We were seating upstairs, terrace doors open which is nice in summer. The service was friendly but haphazard and not focused. The sommelier lady and the bar man were good. The food was average, fish reasonably well cooked, the sauce below average closer to poor. The saffron sauce for one fish dish was watery and tasteless, the tomato sauce for the other fish dish with a couple of olives and small capers was inedible more like diluted tomato ketchup sauce. One person had chicken which was awful-sorry! The rooms downstairs and upstairs are very nicely done and have flair. For £100 per person the food should have been much much much better. Maybe it’s new so needs time. Hope it works out. The last relaunches didn’t. Focus on the food.

Really enjoyed visiting Belvedere - it's a beautiful building and setting within the park, and we had some delicious food. Portions were a little small but nicely presented and very tasty. The only suggestion I have is for better signposting to the restaurant - I had to walk through the car park as I couldn't see a pedestrian path.

The transformation from MPW to an Italian is amazing ! It was always a great venue with fabulous food but with the new update it is surprisingly better - highly recommend for food, service and ambience

The restaurant decor is so pretty with understated Mediterranean chić. Service was excellent, as was the food. Rather expensive for what it was, but sometimes in life you pay for an experience, of which, I believe this was and warranted the price tag. Lovely food and atmospher, will definitely dine there again.

Food is always great. Top notch ingredients is a big guarantee of quality. Love their cocktail bar, there are so many things i want to try. Service this time was a little off. Can tell the server was kind of inexperienced. But when he knew I'm a regular customer, he's more attentive.

Pictoresque place with stunning surroundings. Jessica the manager was super helpful and kind with us, helping us through the menu and suggested us the best choices on the menu. The bartender, that looked like Troisi, the napoletan actor, is super funny and attentive. He gave a personal touch in all the classic cocktail we have ordered. We literally had fun from beginning to the end. We will defitinely be back!!! The Holland Bee cocktail is a must for everyone

This is the exact definition of the phrase “You can’t have everything in life” I mean, Holland Park is fascinating, the restaurant is outstanding inside and outside, beautiful interiors, furniture, lighting, views, every details is appealing. The staff is so charming. But, unfortunately it is so overpriced for such ordinary food. I read it was expensive, but I thought I’ll discover new flavors. I was wrong, the food is ok, but definitely not worth the price. What you pay is the place, the attention and the views. I surely recommend to go and have a lovely date there. If so, I can say that the wild sea bass ceviche and the tortello with lemon and ricotta are good.

Amazing place during a nice summer afternoon and evening! Alfonso, the waiter, was amazing and provided excellent service. To be fair, everyone provided great service and made us feel welcome. We will definitely be coming back again.

Words alone cannot adequately describe the Belvedere restaurant. We had never dined there before but decided to do so as there was a great deal of traffic about it on social media. This restaurant is a hidden gem of London. We dine out a good deal not only in the UK but around the globe and this restaurant is now amongst our top twenty. The warm welcome at reception, the friendliness of all the staff, the food, the ambience, and the wine were second to none. We were made to feel welcome and important throughout our stay. We were wholly at ease throughout. The quirky but classy decor and atmosphere made for a perfectly romantic evening. Thank you to all. We will be returning.

Very romantic and sophisticated ambience. Ilya, our waiter, was charming and provided us with excellent service, as did the whole team. They were very friendly and made us feel like honored guests. The food was perfectly prepared and the presentation was just right.

Utterly gorgeous decor and atmosphere, and in my experience, the most romantic restaurant in town. Lovely service from our waiter, who had the perfect manner and was very helpful in explaining the food. I asked which pasta dish he would recommend (choice for vegan/vegetarian/pescatarian/meat eater)...

Attentive service, nice vibe and ambiance, food was good, hovewer choice on the menu is super basic and no originality. Live music was a great touch!

The look, location and atmosphere of this place is absolutely incredible, and cannot be compared to any other place in London really. The service is very friendly and attentive too. The only downside is they don’t have the best vegan/vegetarian options, and the food is quite pricey. Still would recommend though

Avoid this restaurant at all costs! Overpriced with shocking service. They also overcharged us all and had to refunded x3 people in our party of x6 - It was NOT a mistake sadly. Disappointing doesn't even cover our experience.

Like linguine with Lobster but the service is unsatisfying

A truly enchanting setting and fabulous dinner, made all the more special by the immaculate attention of Desiree who looked after us so wonderfully and with the utmost detail.

This place is a real gem. Beautiful location and stunning interiors to start with. The staff were all really nice and made sure we were taken care of throughout the meal. The overall experience was fantastic: the food was great, the service was on point, and the ambiance - perfect. Do yourself a favour and go there! Oh, and the Holland Bees cocktail is a must, pre or post dinner.

Lovely dinner spent at Belvedere with my wife. We had such a good time! Francesco took really good care of us. The food and cocktails were fantastic. Perfect place for an anniversary 🤌🏼
