This place is close to a major attraction so we knew the prices are higher as usual. Which is okay, but the place was quite dirty. Tables were not cleared, garbage on the floor and we did not use the restrooms since we've seen better one. Coffee, tea and snacks were nice and very tasty.

Here mid afternoon for tea coffee and cakes after visiting the tower of London. Order at counter and collect items as you go. Tables and floor were a bit messy and had to ask for table to be wiped. Perhaps it had been a busy day but better attention to the state of the tables would be due.

After wandering around the Tower of London, we sat outside this little French cafe on the riverfront, enjoyed a coffee and cake, and watched the world go by. My hubby had so many choices of patisserie yumminess, me: not so much. The macaron (only vanilla: the others were not g-f) was however delicious.

I can’t believe the negative reviews about this cafe! It was excellent. Visited with my two adult daughters. We had coffee and wonderful cakes - they have a wide selection. The location is amazing overlooking the Thames with wonderful views of the Tower of London and Tower Bridge and great spot for people watching. The staff were friendly and efficient and the place was spotless. Definitely worth a visit.

Wow. Loved the sandwich, such great flavours. I always worry when sandwiches are ready and on display but I definitely didn’t need to, it was so fresh. The bread was amazing (an olive bread) and the sandwich had lovely fresh tomato and mozzarella with pesto and olive oil! I then could not resist getting the praline eclair with my coffee. It was excellent and not too sweet which I appreciated!

Worst coffee and bargain regret of my trip. Had a very long day sight-seeing and needed a coffee before catching my ferry back to my hotel. Saw Paul's and thought it looked like a decent cafe for coffee. Ordered a cappuccino looking forward to a caffeine boost. Received a half filled, frothy cup of milk and if there was coffee in it was extremely hard to find.

Noisy, very expensive, and unable to supply a pot of cream with a coffee. £11.35 for a coffee, a dishwater cup of tea and a tiny croissant. At this location this venue could have been so much more-it's just wasted on third-rate delivery and pretentious offerings.

All I can say is, if you don’t want to work there…just leave! Asked what we wanted by one miserable server, who put the cold toasties in a bag and went on to the next customer, giving our toasties to another misery guts who took our coffee order and gave me the toasties…the look I got for the inconvenience to actually have them warmed up was incredible, even after “warming” they were cold…decent coffee but I doubt I’d go again. Oh yea, a fiver for a chocolate eclair…I never had one, just saying

Paul is a good venue and this bakery at Tower of London is well-situated for visitors to the tower. There is a good range of products and although it was busy there was enough room to find a place to sit. The man who appeared to be the manager (was he French?) was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the young woman who served us was one of the most miserable assistants I have ever encountered. She cheered up for her lunch break when sat with a friend and enjoyed animated conversation. However, when dealing with us all she would say was, 'anything else?' It's a shame as her surly and distant attitude marred what otherwise could have been a nice visit. What a contrast to her colleague at St Paul's the next day!

After a long day of touring the Tower of London and Temple area, I looped back toward the Tower for a light dinner. PAUL Three Quays fit the ticket satisfactorily with its selection of pastries, sandwiches, and soups. Because I arrived near day's end (and no doubt because of the restaurant's longevity and popularity), many of the offerings, such as the soup, was sold out at that time. The croque monsieur filled my stomach, and the server even warmed it up for me. Because it was near to closing, the sandwich didn't taste as though it had come fresh from the oven but was still palatable. The super-sized macaroon served as the perfect dessert--palm-sized, soft shells encasing rich, cocoa filling--ending the entire dining experience on a sweet note. PAUL Three Quays has a great location near the Tower of London and even outside seating where you can enjoy the view of the river and watching passersby. If you're planning to be in that area for the day, it would make an excellent lunch spot!

No comment.

Dove mangiano i londinesi?

We popped in just before 6.30pm last night whilst we waited to board a boat at Tower Pier. My partner had a croque monsieur which was ok and I had a mozzarella and pesto olive roll which was also ok. What was disturbing, though, was the hive of activity of staff cleaning floors and clearing tables ready for closing some hour and a half later...they seemed much more enthusiastic about this than on serving people. Heerlijke Coppa Burger gegeten.

Amazing bread for a quick veggie sandwich! Loved the mozzarella pesto sandwich with the very fresh olive bread. Quick service as well.

Fresh sandwiches, great sweets, coffee, and lots of seating. Great for lunch after the Tower of London or the Tower Bridge. Great view of the Thames.

PAUL is always a good place for sweet breakfast, but this one is my favorite.Offering both Tower of London and Tower Bridge views, it is a perfect location for me. The food (slice of Black Forest cake and a pink macrone) was delicious and staff friendly.Great breakfast option if you are in the area.

Great ambiance, service, food and a very extensive wine list! Oysters were sublime, as were the sea bream, crab and asparagus served along with the best chips ever! We tried two desserts - rhubarb and the choux with hazelnut - both were delicious! Will definitely be going back again!
