Patty & Bun in City of London, Westminster

Badly made burgers with products of dubious quality. When I made a complaint, I was met with an impertinent and bad response from the waiters, who were very rude. This had never happened to me before. Absolutely not recommended.

Great find while wondering around - fab location, decor simple but so effective. Staff were great and food was amazing. There are option of type of burger as well as how its cooked. Mine was so tender, thick, tasty and meaty. Also the vegan burger was equally as great (so I'm told :-))

Décoration très sympa dans ce restaurant où l’accueil est chaleureux. Les burgers sont excellents, cuisson de la viande pour le bœuf bien maîtrisée. Les frites sont à tomber. Très belle adresse

It was very average. Burger was okay, tasty but small and "juicy" - aka soaking bum. Chips were poor. Chicken thighs were soft and saggy, not crispy, and lacked flavour. Overpriced burger in a crowded burger market.

The main reason for writing this review is as a warning to those with dietary requirements. I had a really poor experience at this place, which was such a shame as I'd been wanting to go to a Patty and Bun for years. I would recommend all customers to make sure whoever is serving you is 100% aware of your situation - the person who served me did not take my request seriously and almost made me ill. I was very clear in my request (and the other people dining with me could vouch for that), but instead of apologising, they called me a liar and then refused to serve me further. Eventually, the manager came over who was very helpful in finding me something I could eat, but it was a good half an hour after the rest of the table had eaten and the atmosphere didn't feel good. Overall, we weren't that impressed with the quality of the food and clearly improvements need to be made regarding the behaviour of the staff.

Food was great! Absolutely delicious and the range on the menu was great. All the staff were super friendly! We had the Smokey Robinson and the Rebel without a Claus, with rosemary chips - absolutely delicious! A couple things let them down - we were sat right by the door and every time it opened it got really cold. P&B are super busy (and that is great) but it meant people kept coming in and waiting with the door open... once someone was free they would tell them to wait outside or that there was no room, they'd often leave and not close the door properly - so we were pretty cold! A sign outside saying "please wait here" would have been really useful. Additionally, our table did not have a QR code on it - so we were sat for a while waiting for someone to take our order - as they were so busy it was hard to get anyone's attention! Not huge issues at all and we still really enjoyed our lunch and understand that busy = good! Just something to be worked on :)

I've been to the Soho location twice now. The portobello burger is so delish! But I have to say over priced for what it is. £13 and change just for the burger and service charge! No drinks, no sides. Also not really sure why there is a service charge when you are meant to do that annoying order on a QR code thing...which I tried several times and could not get to work. It's a small venue. Proper table service wold be nicer.

Service was ok, but that was it. My son has allergies and I always appreciate a restaurant which pays attention to it. Unfortunately, this is one of the worst burgers I’ve ever had. We ordered medium burgers and got uncooked meat in buns. Margaritas were horrible. Just bad food. The two stars I gave were for the kind staff.

The food is very good and tasty, more salty. Good food for who is not hungry as the food small bun. A lot of sauces; good fries. It is just burgers that have eaten. That only what will you remember after. It is very pricy with services fees.

Hadn't heard of the brand but popped in as it looked inviting and was fairly busy. Really pleased. Had to order through an app which is a nuisance but the food was very good, the atmosphere was great and the service was good. Also had a very nice pint of Forest Road something which was lovely. Will very happily go back next time we are local to Regent St.

Good burgers and the rosemary chips were really nice. We waited quite a long time for our food even though it was very empty (another table complained) but the staff were helpful and friendly. They also have vegetarian and vegan options which are good. I’d recommend.

Great visit at Kingly Today. Our server was a lovely girl with nice dress and black hair. Spanish accent and really help us to choose our meal

Amante degli hamburger, con qualche ricerca, trovo questo posticino in pieno centro che successivamente scopro di essere una catena. Così, prima di tornare in Italia, Decido di venire per ora di pranzo, e prendo un hamburger classico con formaggio e bacon e patatine come contorno. Allora devo direi che il panino non era così male, ho trovato la carne un po’ secca ma per il resto mi sembrava un panino come tanti altri quindi senza lode ne infamia.

Locale piccolo ma ben organizzato, anche se alcuni posti sono un po' stretti. Personale cordiale ed efficiente (gentile e simpatica la ragazza che parla anche un po' di italiano!). Hamburger buoni, peccato la mancanza di dolci, ma nel complesso ci siamo trovati bene e lo consiglio.

Hele familien valgte burgere til frokost. God smag og alle blev stegt præcis som bestilt (Well done, medium osv). Ventetiden var lidt lang og toiletter var noget ildelugtende.

On Saturday the 29th of Jan we decided to go to Patty & Buns, having recently moved over from SA we have heard amazing things. The restaurant was full which we understood, the very aggressive member of staff told us to sit outside until a table became available inside for us. With the outside seating area having tables set out and the heaters on, it can come across as manageable to sit through a meal in the “cold”. We placed our orders online because we were happy to sit outside for a quick meal. We were then met by the same aggressive, rude member of staff, raising her voice (we were 1/2 a meter away) she the proceeded to tell us off and point their finger at one of us saying “I told you we are not seating people outside” which is false. If that is the case then I recommend the tables be packed away or the heaters turned off and perhaps a sign stating that. We were then told that we could not dine there and that a refund would be issued. No confirmation email or reassurance of this, only the word of the staff member saying I will do it at the end of the night. This is very disappointing and we would appreciate a formal apology from management, also the staff member needs to be spoken to about their bad attitude. NOT ACCEPTABLE!!!! Never going back to Patty & Buns Kingsley Street again.

This was slighty disappointing. I had the 'hot chic' chicken burger, which was slightly overcooked and not as succulent as I would expect. We also felt abit rushed because as soon as we arrived, we were constantly being asked if we were ready to order.

Just wanted something light for lunch stumbled across this little restaurant. Staff welcoming really friendly nothing too much trouble. Will be back

My SMOKEY ROBINSON was delicious and the place was nice and cosy. We needed to ask for a glass of water a second time as they didn't bring it to us with the burgers (as requested). Plus chips were a bit salty.

Didn't get a chance to eat, no welcome, menu only offered on way out the door. A very busy location for tourists, it shows by the way the staff are nonchalant! Only dine here if you have a lot of time to spare

Stopped here and had a chilli burger with my friends, really well priced, tasty, quick. Highly recommend you stop by.
