I love coming to this café, the staff are always amazing and smiley and their memory is on point! The food is always fresh and tastes amazing! The coffee is always refreshing and the cakes are to die for! I always without a doubt have a very pleasant experience whenever I visit! Which is why I return! I recommend the Valerie club sandwich and the chocolate gateau! So yummy!

We have been to this cafe many times and it was always been excellent. Lovely cakes and coffee. Over the weekend it was my sisters hen do and I ordered a cake from here to pick up end of the day. Unfortunately our plans overrun and we were running late and wouldn't have made it for the pick by 6. I called and asked what we could do, I did have a booking for dinner at a nearby restaurant. The lady on the phone was very helpful (Sorry I didn't get her name), I asked if she could drop the cake to the restaurant so we could still have it there. She agreed and dropped it off to the restaurant, which was really close. THIS SAVED OUR EVENING!! THE CAKE WAS DELICIOUS!! SO THANK YOU FOR THE SERVICE!

If you ever wanted a sunroom for the winter months, save yourself some money and visit Patisserie Valerie at The Lexicon. Clean and tidy, great selection of treats but why so expensive?

Amazing lunch the other day. Decided to try the Vegetarian Menu for a change and it was yummy. You can't go wrong with crushed avacardos on brown bread topped with a variety of seeds, tomatoes, mushrooms, roti salad and baked beans. I passed on these but had an extra flat mushroom instead.A pot of English tea and a Vanilla Slice for afters. My friend had the same which we thoroughly enjoyed.Service was excellent, ambience warm and welcoming. Thank you Patisserie Valerie for a super lunch.

Try this place a few times, never had a great experience. I thought I give it another chance. The cakes on displays are always beautiful so I went for a delicious looking raspberry tart and an espresso. The coffee was one of the worst I’ve ever had, sour and burned taste. The cake was so cold it almost felt like frozen , the shortcut pastry base was so hard I wasn’t able to cut it in half with my fork, just like a brick, inedible. I mentioned it to the lady behind the counter and the response was that they know about it and it caused by a temperature problem of the fridge. Maybe don’t sell it or fix the fridge?!

They bent over backwards to accommodate an awkward party for afternoon tea (some wanted coffee, some other beverages etc. There are free refills on tea, coffee etc too.The tea is fairly typical: finger sandwiches, scones, cakes and is more filling than you'd expect. It's 25 pounds (per couple) which is probably fair but I'd prefer 20 quid for 2.

Warm welcome and decent coffee which had a free refill and take away cake slices with the afternoon tea were delicious but the tea itself was a little average. Around 8 finger sandwiches and 2 mini quiches for the savouries, a fruit and plain scone each with jam and cream and served warm and around 6 mini cakes to finish and these were the most disappointing part. We traveled here because the Guildford shop is so bad and this was better if very small inside. The tea wasn't too big so we managed to finish it all

Small little store within The Lexicon shopping centre in Bracknell Coffee and cake was lovely, the cake especially so. This is a very small establishment but has seating outside too for when the weather is a bit better.

We had a really nice afternoon tea with warm scones, jam and clotted cream. Their hot chocolate was also tasty.

Mixed experience as the almond croissant was one of the best I have ever had but the capucinno and dexaf lattee were weak and lacked any depth of flavour. Wish they served Union Street, or Cornwall Coffee or indeed Rememption any of which provide an excellent coffee. My partners g/f chocolate marble cake was nice but there was not a lot of cake options for g/f. Place to go for takeaway pastries and cake then head off to Costa or Brown Bag for the coffee.

Popped in on Saturday to buy two cakes to take away for that afternoon. Paid via contactless and was not offered or given a receipt. Got home and found only one cake in the bag. Contacted head office who asked for a receipt! Useless.

This is a fantastic place for coffee and cake. The staff here are so friendly and the cakes are to die for. Hot chocolate with whipped cream and a slice of black forest gateau just what you need after shopping.

We bought my birthday cake from the Sutton High Street area, not really from Bracknell but the cakes are delivered to all Pattiserie Valerie stores so this review is generally for the cakes you can buy in any Pattiserie Valerie store. The looks of the cakes are really eye-catching and looks really delicious too. The icing and the coatings are also alright. My real issue is the bread itself - it's dry and not soft at all. It makes the whole cake taste not-so-good. We weren't able to finish the whole cake, it was just not good enough, sorry! Plus, the cakes were really pricey for a price of Gbp30+ for the bigger size. BUT in fairness, the staffs in the store in the Sutton High Street are all really nice and helpful so kudos to them!

The best I can say was that this was an average experience. I got what I expected a coffee and a piece of cake for more than I would have liked to have spent but both were good none the less.

Lovely short notice afternoon tea at a reasonable price. I do wish the view was better but nothing they can do about that. Nice service and lovely food.

First ever visit to one and the last! Popped in for a ‘quick bite’ which turned out much longer than planned. Shop wasn’t overly busy, but service was terrible. Communication between staff evidently non-existent. Happy to take your money, but clueless as to what you ordered. Having been served drinks and cake had to ask whether our rolls were coming. During which time the cake went very soft. Food stuck to the wall beside the counter should have been wiped off immediately, but looked like it had been there for some time. Rubbish trolley wheeled passed as we were eating. Staff spraying cleaning product onto a cloth whilst walking by our table. Shame he missed the wall! OK food, but over-priced. Should have gone elsewhere. Will not visit again.

Wow, just called in for cakes as we saw a beautiful selection in the window, we odered a slice of cake & J2O, sat down had it delivered to our table and WOW was it delicious, Yes it was... they even allowed us to share a bottle of J2O by bringing us 2 glasses without even asking! Very good manners, not pushy at all, good prices and very clean venue, smashing little pattiserie, well worth a visit.

I have visited Bracknell for long time and saw this shop closed . Very nice place and lovely atmosphere but sadly managed poorly. No surprised its been permanently closed.

Very busy and was told there was a 35 minute wait for food so I got a meal deal sandwich and had a coffee with it. Three self-service screens out of order on a Saturday! The staff were putting the round alerts for food orders next to non-working screens!🙄 Coffee was nice when it arrived. No healthy milk options like oat or soya, and only semi-skimmed milk listed. Maybe it is better on weekdays but not recommended for Saturdays if today was typical of what it is like.

Good food, not rushed, friendly staff. The haddock was spot on as was the ribeye. A very pleasant and relaxed Saturday afternoon. Good parking.

Always pleasant. Has a great local crowd. The locals are welcoming. Not really a food establishment, but a good range of normal food snacks.
