The cakes are delicious, the meze cake selection is very good, if you can't decide!! A garden centre with lots of interesting plants and products, very clean and tidy..would recommend to others...lots of parking ..

We go here regularly for a morning coffee before a wander around the garden centre. There is a large selection of cakes, scones, etc - most of which are reasonably priced, good quality, and reasonable sized. The scones in particular are very good. In addition, the patisserie is very fancy and delicious - yes, it’s expensive but we occasionally succumb as a treat! You can watch the skilled pastry chefs at work behind the counter. Service can be a little slow when busy however we’ve always found it friendly and efficient.

The woman who runs this cafe is just awful. She needs a lesson in customer service. A smile wouldn’t go a miss especially when paying the astronomical prices for cakes.

Visited for a drink and cake, prices are a rip off and the quality of the cakes is very poor. The bakewell slice I had was tiny, fell apart when I put it on the plate and did not taste in the least bit of almond. I was with a friend and didn't want to create a scene so didn't make a fuss but when I got home I reflected that this was a dreadful experience and decided to add this cafe to Trip advisor to give everyone a chance to review it. Please note this is a separate cafe to Stooks which is on the same site.

Just awful. Terrible service, always late, pizza tastes like it’s been hanging around for ages (and it has, you can see that in the pizza tracker on the app). They now charge and unreasonable £2.49 for delivery and also won’t let you collect after a certain time, which makes no sense. If you call up to say your order is wrong, they don’t care, and are reluctant to refund - even if they agree they will say if there’s a slice gone you won’t get a refund. How are you meant to know it’s all bad unless you eat some?! Just overpriced crap. Avoid.

Bishopric Link RoadThe food was appalling. The kebabs were overcooked and like charcoals , the bags were leaking when we got them home that contained the food . The person serving and cooking was miserable, unfriendly and grumpy. All in all , a terrible experience. Avoid

North StreetMet my family here today for coffee and lunch. We were not permitted to sit on one of the three long vacant sofas inside to avoid the rain outside. We therefore decided not to have proper lunch. Sitting outside, one toasted sandwich, two milkshakes, one coffee and tea cost me well over £30. My French is very good but to describe my Cheese and Tomato toasty just in the French language was absolutely ridiculous and PRETENTIOUS. The person who took our order had no sense of humour and could not have cared less. Owners of this place please note, the most important asset a company has is its staff - and yours looked so overworked. I will not be returning to your plush sofas which customers are not allowed to sit on!
