Clean service food excellent full of flavour and cooked fresh waited half an hour but definitely worth it, would recommend it

We have used this Indian takeaway several times now. They have a wide ranging menu. The dishes we have tried have been delicious and the portions are a good size. the meals have been ready on time for collection.

It’s my local takeaway curry and has been running for over 20 years. I enjoy every meal I have from them. Good quality food, good service, good prices. I would recommend them to anyone who enjoys curry.

Tried for the first time at the weekend. Ordered enough for three adults but only two main meat dishes. Total was £38 which feels expensive compared to other similar Indian takeaways. Also we ordered vegetable samosas and received at least one lamb. My wife discovered this when biting into it. She’s a vegetarian... Order errors seems to be common based on other reviews. Not sure we’ll use on a regular basis.

This is our local takeaway I order a couple months ago and when I got home I’d received the wrong order couldn’t be bothered to go back and change the order so just didn’t order for a bit then fri we decided to order again , once again got home wrong order phoned them went back to swap for correct order they gave us a couple poppodoms for the inconvenience, we made an order again tonight get home and once again it’s wrong on the ticket was the correct order but why they again did the order wrong I ordered lamb I received chicken it’s been a long day can’t be bothered to go back again think we’re just avoid again 😕

Good quality Indian food at reasonable prices. Takeaway only. They have a reward card which gives you money off after a certain amount of visits.

The food at this takeaway is consistently good, and excellent value. Always service with a smile. Large orders are always catered for efficiently.

Well, the good thing about this place is that it serves Indian food as well as pizzas- so that's useful if getting food for a large group and some people do not fancy a curry. The food tastes nice. I personally prefer takeaway food in metal dishes with cardboard lids rather than the plastic microwaveable ones because I am scared of BPA but that's not a major issue and I daresay some people prefer the plastic containers. We call and order ahead and it's very convenient. You can get stamps on your loyalty card.

I find the food here consistently good, very clean and professionally run. Would highly recommend it for a good value, good quality takeaway.

Been off take-aways for 9 months on doctors orders, but late October 2016 really fancied some of Pathila's magic tastes. Unfortunately, after 16 years of excellence in this field, I was disappointed with their current offering. OK, meat portions have been trimmed since my last visit, but the younger member of the extended family that now seems to run the kitchen is short on ability when it comes to great flavours and, sadly, I will be in no hurry to return.

Probably like other satisfied customers I am amazed that some people would give this restaurant one star. We have ordered food here for several years and they have never failed to deliver in all respects. Great flavours and consistent.

We've used the Pathila for more than 15 years and I thought it was time I wrote a review. Always good quality, consistent flavours and heat. Probably easy to underestimate, but this takeaway has been run by the same guy for all the time we've used it. Try it.

We recently moved back into Prestwood and had friends visiting so I was really looking forward to trying out the local Indian take away. Unfortunately the service I received was quite frankly shocking. My friend is gluten free and therefore to make sure she wasn't sick when I called to order I needed to check if her preferred choice was gluten free. The person who answered the phone didn't understand what gluten free was, then after trying to explain, instead of giving me a confident response he told me he was very busy and I was taking up too much of his time! He told me to refer to the menu, which I explained didn't give this information hence the need to ask! I continued with my order, and again told I was wrong when giving a number for one of the dishes even though it was their menu that was wrong. After 30 minutes I went to pick up the order, hoping to find a friendlier face in the restaurant. What followed next I'm actually upset and disgusted about. How can a local (or any) business talk to their customers in the manner they did. The bill included 3 Bombay aloo's when I had only orders 1. He almost insisted it was my fault and and I needed to pay for them. At this point I mentioned that I understood he was busy but I wasn't very pleased with his tone over the phone when I was just trying to ask a genuine question. Comments that followed from him after included "I do not need your custom", "I have enough customers don't come back" and "how old are you?" (I'm unsure other than being extremely rude how this is relevant. I'm old enough to own a house, have a child and have had many professional jobs where customer service is the first priority). Credit where credit is due the food we had was nice, I'm just sorry that one guy gave me such a bad experience that I don't feel welcome back and felt the need to make this review.

We have been using Pahila for many years and we have never had a disappointing meal. We have chosen many different dishes and they have all been good, and the food has been ready to collect when they said it would be. If I were to have one comment, it is that the portions are very generous. The upside of that is that there is always something to nibble on the following day!

Use this place as our regular "go to" curry house, always get good curry there, they also do a fair Pizza.

Siempre muy satisfecho - siempre delicioso curry. Lobia y cordero de pollo jalpai especialmente bueno pero así son los platos estándar.

Uninspiring gloop. I use every now and then in the hope that things improve, but always end up regretting it. Food is bland and no matter what you choose fresh ingredients seem to have been overlooked. Meat no matter what is also always lacking in flavour, something the sauces are trying to disguise.

We have had many takeaways from here and up till tonight I would have agreed with the other reviews. But something must have changed. Because tonight I had a plate of what can only be described as chicken with a hot sauce poured over it. Take the sauce off and the meat was bland. My wife said the same about her chicken bhuna. Have they gone down the road of cooking up lots of meat and then just pouring over a pre prepared sauce in the interests of speed and profit. If they havn't then they need to get a better chef. I really hope this was a one off.

Run by a man who has owned Indian restaurants for decades, this take-away outlet offers truly authentic Indian dishes with the full range of family favourites to an inspired range of exclusive dishes, all beautifully cooked with fresh ingredients. In 15 years I have never been dsiappointed

Never had a bad Indian from here. 5 years and counting. Highly recommended. Boss seems very focused. Shame about the Al Jazeera on the TV though! Ever-changing specials are usually excellent.

This place has quickly become my favourite local curry take away - generous portions with plenty of meat, really fresh ingredients and with some interesting specials, we have never been disappointed.
