Great coffee and pastry, was a very warm welcome and they looked after me. Thank you. Will definitely be back again when I am in area.

Met up with friends for morning coffee. One ordered hot chocolate but it was cold and most of it was in the saucer. One ordered earl grey tea but there was no milk. One ordered coffee which was barely hot. All in all a very disappointing first visit which will also be my last

I visited the Bakery and the staff were really friendly. They made a special effort to speak to my 5 year old and make a fuss of her. The cakes were absolutely delicious as was the coffee. The environment was clean and presentable. Overall, I would highly recommend visiting this bakery.

Great coffee in this amazing bakery along the high street. My favourite Pasty is the Chorizo one and also the Cornish Pudding is divine - a must try!

Visited today for the first time. Rather disappointed - we ordered food and drinks to eat in and were told they had no plates.. the place was under a quarter full… we were given our food in paper bags.. I had a pot of tea and was told there were no judges for milk so it was in a paper cup… If I am paying to eat in I expect a plate at least - no idea how they will cope when it’s really busy. On a good note the food was nice but eating it out of a bag spoilt the experience.

disappointing. Both pasties virtually cold, but with long queue and slow service didnt want to wait to replace. Also declined a brown sauce small sachet at 40p!

We popped in here for a very light lunch on a Saturday. It was very busy. Lots of lovely looking pastries, pasties and the like. We had a cheese scone (not very cheesy) and a so-so pane de chocolat. My tea was fine as was my wife's coffee.

We have been here a few times and each time the service has been poor. The coffee is great hence why we have returned but after today's visit we will not. The service is always extremely slow, always dirty plates and crockery on tables that you have to remove before you can sit down. They do have enough staff but they seem to be just stood behind the counter chatting to each other. Today I was served by a young gentleman that spilled all my coffee and with no apology just walked away. I feel this coffee shop needs better management. Very disappointed.

The coffee was lovely and the home made scones were amazing the customer assistant Rachel was very friendly and welcoming , Ash made a lovely coffee !!

If you're in Salisbury and fancy a cream tea, come here. Having been disappointed on a visit to The Red Lion Hotel, I opted to try here next time and it was like night and day. Big scone, three cups of tea from the pot, lovely ambiance in the place - really can't knock it.

My wife and daughter like the cornish pasties from this shop, so I get magged to get them one occasionally. They - I dont like pasties - say they are nice. However ... (and I came here to see if others had noticed the same. They have) The service is dreadful. Everytime I have to queue for 15+ minutes to pick up two pasties. On each time theres only been a few (less than 4 in front) but the queue does not move. It should not take 5 minute to process each order. And todays experience was even worse. Turn p a ~12.15 and they only had ~5 pasties left FFS. Its not like midday moves around everyday. How on earth can a shop go into midday without making sure theyve got a batch of pasties prepared. Its not a shortage of staff -theres always a few behind the counter. They just dont seem to do much, or quickly. The shop is severely lacking any competent and present management.

Popped in here for a coffee and some work. Really nice setting and good service plus a great location. Definitely worth a visit

Looks good and clean, pretty slow service even though it wasn't busy. I will not be going again, the Large Coffee was medium at best, and I can't get on board with the NO CASH policy, the incoherent excuse did not wash. Disappointed and completely underwhelmed. Food looked OK although I didn't bother.

Yet again awful service today at approx 12.30. Ordered 2 pasties and 2 small cappiccinos. Asked for pasties to heated up. Given a service number. Food heated and then I moved on the the drinks service end of the counter. Yet again drinks not dispensed in order of when purchased. Two people served before me even though I was first in line. No sorry, or any comment at all except for the drinks to be plonked down in front of me, one spilling into the saucer. This long delay at the drinks end means any hot food is always cold by the time you finally get to the table. Don't issue service numbers if they are not going to be done in order. Also the cappucinnos never really hot only lukewarm. Lots of tables covered in dirty crockery and trays. It is evident that more efficient staffing is required. Also noted Fire Door propped open into kitchen area!

Service is terrible It took me 20 minutes of queuing to get fully served and the door wide open making the sit down area like a fridge

Wonderful pastries but appalling service. The wait for coffee - there were 7 people ahead of me- was endless. Just one machine and one harassed young man making one cup of coffee at a time. Not acceptable. When I complained about this a lippy young man 'overseeing' the young man was arch bordering on rude. Not good enough. Barista training and a machine that makes more than one coffee at a time would be a great improvement.

Nice enough pasty and reasonably quick service. But to pay 40p extra per sachet for condiments is completely unacceptable. After paying nearly £5 per pasty and an extra c. 40p to eat in I would expect complimentary condiments. Whatever happened to a bottle of sauce per table? Or some sort of dispenser. Shame really but that’s enough to ensure I don’t visit again.

Nice coffee place, and certainly very busy. good atmosphere and reasonable price. Its perfect for after shopping in the town centre

Have been visiting CB Salisbury for years. Best coffee in high street. However, our recent experience at the new location was disappointing. Dreadfully slow service - young man polite, barista morose. Tables full of dirty cups. No one to clear them away. Lovely new toilet, but it does need to be cleaned all day when busy. Obviously a shortage of staff. Experience similar to Gunwharf Quay - queue outside door, tables not cleaned. So bigger, but definitely not better.

Visited its new location in Salisbury. All started well, with an engaging and polite guy taking orders and serving up the cakes etc. Waited for the coffees and took them to our table. Then noticed that my mocha cup was dirty - had burnt on coffee marks on the rim and outside. Took it back to the barista girl, who said it was probably just chocolate powder (it obviously wasn't), but did I want her to wipe it off? - Well not really, I'd like my drink in a clean cup. Then another in my party noticed their cup was also dirty. Took it up and asked the same barista if the drink could be transferred to a take-away cup. Was told that it 'looked clean to her'. The total lack of acknowledgment or apology that the cups WERE dirty was astounding. Will not be returning. (A shame, as we'd visited the Cornish Bakery at its old location, and always had good service.) Perhaps this girl was new - but she needs some further training in how to deal with customers..

The decaffeinated coffee was the worst I have had in Salisbury. It was cloudy and bitter. I raised this with the person behind the counter who said that there was nothing they could do. That’s how their decaffeinated coffee is. Needless to say with the plethora of coffee shops in Salisbury I/we won’t be returning to this one.

Cold coffee and cold 'hot' chocolate. Complained and got another two tepid drinks. Perhaps a thermometer for the milk jug would be a good idea. On the plus side, nice decor

New cafe just opened around the corner from the old one. Now on the high street. Great good and drinks. Friendly happy cheerful staff large space with lots of light and soft background music. Best place for a lovely large pasty and chilling with family and friends. Highly recommend lots of soft chairs for lounging and going nothing but watch the world go by. Love the new store and layout.

Popped in on their first day opening there new store, all the staff were friendly and welcoming. I enjoyed a oat milk flat white and a chicken and chilli jam toastie which was delicious. I’ll definitely be back regularly to grab lunch to go!

Visited the new Cornish bakery premises today and it was excellent. The new venue in the high street, Salisbury is very stylishly laid out with a very choice of seating ares and a good mix of traditional tables and chairs and more relaxed low level seating. The food range has increased with some delicious new additions. The staff lead by the always excellent Ashley, were efficient and clearly enjoying their new environment. I’m sure it will be a great success.

We visited on its first day of opening and were very impressed with the delicious bakery item, the friendly staff and the comfortable surroundings.

Went in 15 or so minutes before closing, felt the staff was a bit short with me. Had a large Cornish pasty and a flat white. The Cornish pasty, despite being very generous with the beef was not very good. Quite dry in some spots and was very close to being cold. The coffee was beyond burnt and downright awful. Binned it after the first sip and went to cafe Nero. 6/10 pasty. 2/10 coffee.

I had one of the best croissants I have ever had - light, buttery - and the coffee was very good, too. But the bathroom was awful. I came shortly after it opened, and it hadn't been cleaned since at least the day before. The sink was filthy, and the toilet so disgusting you wouldn't have wanted to use it. Not good.

Delicious cream tea and very pleasant staff. Went in “on spec” after disappointing reception at Côte Brasserie. Scones were light and fluffy with jam and Rodders Cream. Well done!

Lovely fruity scones light & fluffy cooked by Ash. They were hot out of the oven. Didn’t even realise they did scones ( had the pasty range many times and always good). Asked by chance if they had scones and they had just cooked some....

Hot, fresh from the oven scones and pasties of all flavors make choosing just one item so difficult. Everything was good but the cheese scone and chicken masala pastie were my favorite. The coffee is strong and flavorful too.

Had a lovely catch up with a friend at the Cornish bakery. The staff were super friendly even if it was busy! And the coffee was beautiful and the sausage rolls were incredible!! I would highly recommend and would come back again!

Five of us went to the Cornish Bakery for lunch. All the food was great, however the service was very very slow. Seem to be very short staffed.

The BEST coffee shop in Salisbury! Delicious food great tasting coffee and friendly professional staff. There is a wide choice of pasties and pastries. The spiced cauliflower pasties are a firm favourite for me and I rate their coffee the nicest I’ve ever had.

Popped in for a coffee and pasty on lunch break,the coffee here is exceptional and the pork and apple pasty was top notch.

Visited today with my wife and had coffee which was good but the Pasty and Sausage roll were hard and overbaked. I have eaten at other outlets of this chain and found them very good especially in Swanage! But everything here is poor even the scones which are smaller than average and also overbaked. Don't know who's running this place but it needs looking at as quality of produce is poor. Wont be returning soon.

Excellent service, despite to have a narrow local, there was any problem to eat in with a baby trolley. Pastries were simply delicious. A place to come back definitely.

Been here a few times now. There's a great team working in this establishment, extremely friendly and helpful! The pasties are top notch, especially the Thai Chicken. The Coffee is also delicious! I recommend the latte and both the white and regular mochas. Will continue to purchase from this establishment in the future.

We were in the area to check out Stonehenge and of course had to check out a traditional pasty shop! The shop was quaint and small. We waited a short bit for a table to open up. We ordered a few pasties and couple coffee drinks. The traditional pasties are so delicious!! Juicy and flavorful with a flaky buttery shell with a crispy edge. We also tried a cheese and onion as well as a sweet baked tart. The latter two were very mediocre, but definitely worth a stop in for the traditional. It comes in two sizes and you can take it to go. If you arrive as they run out though, be warned, it's another 20-30min wait!

Happenned to be walking down the street when their pastries caught my eye. Went in and ended up walking out with a big bag full of treats. They were all excellent! The croissants are gigantic yet flasky & buttery. The stuffed meat pies delish...and the best find was the Pastel de Nata as good as what you find at the restaurant that invented it in Lisbon! Went back today for more, but unfourtunetly closed, but I'll be back tommorrow!

Llamamos a este café por primera vez hoy 30-10-2019 y las empanadas en las que tuvimos que comer estaban muy cocidas, frías y secas, los cubiertos estaban sucios y el servicio era terrible. Pedimos la comida y el café y no nos dijeron que teníamos que esperar para llevarlo a nuestra mesa, así que después de sentarnos notamos que la comida estaba parada en la caja registradora y las dos damas estaban paradas sin hacer nada. No se molestaron en llamarnos o, como no estaban haciendo nada, nos lo trajeron. No se molestará en volver a esta tienda.

Popped in for a quick bite to eat and a coffee! We were not disappointed! The Cornish pasty was to die for!!! And the white chocolate & fruit bread pudding was heavenly! The coffee was really good as well. Staff very friendly! Highly recommended

Quaint little place with good quality food to eat in or take away. Friendly and helpful staff.Lovely atmosphere where you can relax and even have a little chin wag with staff who are happy to listen when they have the time in what can be a very busy place with customers return time after time.

Pedimos el bistec / stilton y empanadas tradicionales y estaban bien. Estaba muy ocupado y había pocas mesas disponibles, pero era agradable sentarse y observar a la gente mientras tomaban nuestras empanadas. Pero si usted es alérgico, como mi esposo es o tiene un problema con los perros que están en el restaurante, esto no es para usted. Algunos dueños de perros son atentos con los demás, pero había dos en el restaurante con sus cachorros y los dejaron pasear y olisquear otras mesas, mi esposo comenzó a estornudar y toser poco después de llegar, así que tuvimos que sacar nuestras empanadas junto al océano y eso también estuvo bien.

Popped in for a just out of the oven cheese and bacon scone and drink. Scones are very good and even better when warm with butter and we had timed this just right. However visit was marred by the staff member who sneezed into her hand and then carried on arranging the clean cups on top of the coffee machine without washing her hands first. Unpleasant and unnecessary.
