Best Thai restaurant in Nottingham!!!

Wow! 😍 Food is delicious, service is very attentive and polite. I haven’t been before only because the place looked empty from the street, most of the guests are sitting in the other room that can’t be seen through windows. I will definitely come again, 10/10 🌟

The best restaurant I have been to for a while. I cannot recommend highly enough. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food looked better in real life than on the menu. Prices were reasonable. They got the spices just right.

We ordered a Tom yum soup as a starter,there is no lemongrass,lime leaves in it,it taste completely not sour and spicy,what a shame.

The most authentic Thai food I’ve had since travelling Thailand - this food was amazing the customer service was wonderful, welcoming and a lovely atmosphere was highly recommended by a few friends who live in Nottingham - I’m gutted this is not closer to where I live otherwise i would be in everyday I will be recommending this restaurant to everyone Do not hesitate to go!!!

Great place in a great location only a minute walk from Lace Market Tram stop. The staff were friendly and helpful. And the food and drinks were full of flavour. Will definitely be returning.

I came to Nottingham to visit my friend and she brought me to this restaurant. Off the bat, the ambience and vibe is fantastic. Everything is pastel and olive green, it’s so soothing and calming. We were tended to well, got the food fairly quick. I got pad kee mao and my friend got the red curry. The pad kee mao was pretty spicy like I asked and I was not disappointed. My friend’s red curry is THE BEST I’ve ever had. I would fly back from the US with my partner for this red curry. We asked for mango sticky rice and even though it wasn’t on the menu, they still got it for us. It was a little pricey (£10) but that’s alright. The server at the end got us chocolates and said “shukriya” since we are Indians and it was so so wholesome. When we exited, everyone thanked us :) Overall, it was a great experience. 11/10 food and atmosphere. One of the best Thai food I’ve had in a while. Cannot recommend it enough!!

I'd call it to be a modern take on thai cuisine. I've had thai food in thailand as well but the taste and fusion that these guys have brought into their food really hits the spot for me rather than some of the other thai places I've tried across different places. Must give this one a try!

I have ordered kow mun gai take away. I am very disappointed as the dish did not turn out what I am hoping for.

The restaurant was busy so the food wasn't served on time which is understandable but at least serve the people good food. I got a super salty plate of noodles with vegetables in which the cabbage was extremely fibrous (more like the layer which is supposed to be discarded). The Thai chips were extended dry. Wouldn't recommend for a Thai Food experience.

Delicious authentic thai cuisine located in Nottingham city centre. Portion sizes are good and the menu has tons of options to choose from. Very peaceful atmosphere inside with chill music and a small water fountain, and the servers were very kind and helpful. Would definitely revisit!

I think the salad suitable with prawn cracker than sticky rice. A little spicy but acceptable.

Best Thai I've had (coming from a Londoner), no complaints at all. Friendly and accommodating staff, fast service. Got the mixed starter platter to share, everything was so good!! Amazing marinated duck dish, tender, soft and juicy. Thai styled chips were good. Got a Thai red curry to share, amazing flavour and good ratio of spice. Egg custard and the vanilla ice cream blew my socks off at the end. Will definitely be back.

Such authentic Thai food and lovely friendly staff. We had the Som Tam and Panang Gail, absolutely delicious. We live 3 hours way from Nottingham and came up for an arena gig but this restaurant is a reason we'd like to find another excuse to come back 😊

Would really recommend the Khao Soi special, an amazing noodle dish that's hard to find in the UK. The staff are lovely too

I honestly can't recommend this place enough. We went for dinner and the staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, and the food was absolutely amazing. It was so unbelievably tasty and such reasonable prices. We will absolutely be back.

The food was literally swimming in oil. The mixed veg at almost £8 was a small amount of cooked lettuce. Awful! What’s happened? Used to like this restaurant. Not anymore!

A really fab Thai restaurant! Super authentic and tasted exactly like when we were in Thailand 😊 Would definitely recommend the fresh spring rolls, green curry and tofu sweet and sour! Lovely friendly staff too and very reasonably priced!

The food was excellent. Portion sizes were generous, and because the mains were so good, I made the cardinal mistake of eating it all and sadly didn't have room for dessert. Service was attentive without being overbearing. Highly recommend. Went with a party of 4 adults and a child for a birthday dinner. The place was already busy at 17:00 so I recommend you book in advance on the weekend to avoid a long wait time. There were no negatives. Perhaps there could be a few more options for young children? Though the little one with us enjoyed the Thai style nuggets and a more picky eater you won't find. Met a great couple seated next to us that offered to take a photo for us, which just topped off a really nice evening. I will visit again and will be sure to leave room for dessert.

This is a fantastic place to eat, and it is without a doubt, an upmarket contemporary Thai restaurant. The food was delicious, freshly cooked with Vegan and Veggie options, we tried the vegetarian set menu for 2, there was plenty to eat and served in a relaxed atmosphere. We also tried a bottle of Monsoon Valley, a lovely crisp and dry Colombard white wine. The staff were friendly and attentive too, we came away feeling satisfied with our dining experience and will return again.

Brilliant thai food, we came here on a recommendation and were not disappointed. Quite loud when it was busy but service was prompt and efficient. Food itself was excellent, they had the classic options but also much more interesting and authentic dishes. Vegetarian choices were also varied.

Treated myself to a takeaway. I had the Prawn Tom Yum paste and asked for extra spice which was delicious. It would have been even better if it included some veggies but I would still definitely go there again! Quick waiting times for collection and very helpful staff ☺️

Went to Paste on a Saturday Night. Mock Red curry was good. The Tom Yum was not what I expected but the staff were helpful in creating a vegetarian version not on the menu. The Aubergine stir fry was so sweet it was like a dessert and super oily, I would not recommend it. Generally the atmosphere and service is really good just slightly disappointed on some of the food.

Authentic Thai food and really friendly staff. The Green and Red curry with rice was sweet and spicy. The colour of the Tom Yum Soup with noodles were lighter and not as spicy and sour as we thought but we enjoyed the flavour nonetheless. The beef with fried thick noodles were full of flavour and protein. The restaurant has a wide selection of cocktail, mocktail and imported beer. Great value and portion.

Absolutely delicious food served by the most polite staff. It's a small eating area which means a more personal experience. Price is reasonable for what's offered, and there are lots of veggie options.

Came from Manchester on a road trip on New Year Day and wanted to eat Thai Food and found this restaurant so thought lets give it a try. Was NOT Disappointed. Service was amazing, very friendly guys, kept looking out for us and helping up top up water, one of the waiters asked if we were from HK and after answering YES, he kept saying some Cantonese phrases. very nice touch. The fish was amazing, pity they dont do the fish soup refills but it was ok, we were nearly full by then. Full and not looking forward to long drive back to Manchester LOL

Food is good but only eat in, don't order for delivery, took 2 hours to come from Uber Eats as was unable to order from website direct (they don't have their own delivery drivers). Service was really poor in dealing with the issue from Paste directly ('not our problem, pal' basically) and food lukewarm by the time it was received.

Excellent quality food. My Red Thai Curry was to die for. Easy to walk past but a hidden gem. Great value for money especially when the Christmas fare was charging £11 for a burger!!

Went there for lunch as a walk in and felt really welcomed. The menu is really well designed with a lot of choices and great options, we even asked for suggestions and the waiter was very friendly and helpful! Amazing food and quick service! Would definitely recommend!

A secret garden in City centre, I believe it is one of the best Thai 🇹🇭 restaurants in Nottingham... 📝 what we ordered - TOM YUM SOUP 冬陰公湯 Authentic hot and sour soup with mushrooms and mixed Thai herbs, served with chicken - PLA MURK HUA HIN 脆炸魷魚 Hua Hin beach style crispy fried squid topped with spring onions, served with sweet chilli sauce - MIANG MOO KUM WAN 燒豬頸肉配米粉 Marinated slices of pork collar served with rice vermicelli noodles, salad, Thai style chilli and garlic dressing - PAD THAI BORAN 泰式炒河粉 Pad Thai noodle recipe passed down by chef’s grandmother, served with a choice of chicken or tofu - PLA SEABASS YUM MAMOUNG 脆炸鱸魚配綠芒果沙律 🌶🌶 Crispy whole seabass served with Thai style spicy salsa and cashew nuts The environment is so comfy and the staffs are so lovely !! ❤️ We asked for the mild level of spicy when ordering🌶 They reminded us again that the sauce is 🌶. “Be careful,, it’s very dangerous ,, very spicy 🤣” We are glad that we have ordered some ice drinks to neutralise the spicy 🤣🤣 My favourite dish is PLA SEABASS YUM MAMOUNG (even though it’s hot 🥵) Because we haven’t had a whole fish 🐟 for ages... the fillet was so crispy and fresh!! Highly recommend this Thai 🇹🇭 restaurant and I would love to go again !!

Had the vegetarian set menu and it was amazing! Food was some of the best Thai food I've ever eaten. The service was also superb with attentive, professional and knowledgeable waiters.

I ordered some take away today but I was really disappointed. The service is great, but the food need some improve. The flavouring of the food is good but the freshness of the food is so bad. The king prawn in the soup is really stinky and the chicken in the curry is bad, I can tell it had sit in the fridge for a very long time taste like plain rice paper. The carrots in the curry were sour ( not because of the curry).

Thai cuisine is my favourite food and I thoroughly enjoyed eating at Paste Contemporary Thai. The food was excellent, service was quick and the staff were attentive and very accommodating. There is a wide variety on the menu and two set meal options that in my opinion offer very good value. I will definitely revisit and will recommend to others to eat here.

Absolutely exceptional food! I couldn’t fault the meal. The best Pad Thai I’ve ever eaten, the restaurant was beautiful and the staff were so friendly. I’ve recommended Paste to several friends since visiting and I’ll definitely be back again soon. Make sure you try the Khan Tok!

Really poor food. All microwaved. Almost made up for by delightful staff but in the end, really, you can do better with supermarket food microwaved /ovened at home. The staff were so nice I regret this review but we had 2 starters and 3 mains plus 2 sides so we gave it a good go
