Without doubt, the WORST bacon sandwich ever. £4 for sliced white, 3 slices of tasteless undercooked bacon, and a drizzle of brown sauce. I will feel ripped off until I die. AVOID. Absolute rubbish. Only 1 star because I can't leave 0 stars.

I visited yesterday to grab a bacon sandwich before catching a train. The staff were friendly and the service was fast. Unfortunately the bacon sandwich was very poor- the bacon was dry and had obviously been standing for quite a while, and the bread was stale. A shame considering they give you a good size sandwich on 'proper' bread.

The meal deals are very good value for money and the staff are friendly and helpful . Need more special choices if you are a daily customer as the menu is limited

What a rubbish experience. After queuing outside the door for 20 minutes finally I make my way into the bakery there was only 6 people in front of me and some only ordered a cup of tea. I was then met by a lady asking rather rudely right what do you want this came across that it was an inconvenience I had entered to make a purchase and then priced to tell me she hadn't had a coffee this morning, why tell a customer sounds like a personal problem to me. I ordered 2 sausage baps and a bacon sandwich I was then told they do t do rolls or baps, wow a bakery that doesn't do rolls, seriously what are you doing here then? Then I was asked if I would like sauce yes brown on the bacon, no issue till she starts to make my order with brown bread. Good job I don't need a morning coffee to wake up as I had to correct her on what to do with my order I had placed 30 seconds earlier. Once the ordeal of ordering was complete then came the awful experience of eating what had been made. On the way to the office a small 3 minute drive away I put the heated seat on to keep them warm. Well this was the closest the bacon and sausages had been to heat in the last 4 hours I would say. As I bit into my sandwich I was met with cold hard bacon and lumps of butter. Wow a bakery that can't make a box on sandwich and doesn't sell rolls. The bacon had no flavour how do you even do that? What is the magic you posses to remove the flavour of bacon. My advise avoid avoid avoid. Bad service, bad attitude & bad food.

We popped in for lunch and couldn’t believe how reasonable the prices were. The food is delicious. We ordered a range of food such as the pastries and baguettes and also had some cakes, the ice buns are the best I have ever had! The staff are so happy and friendly, have a chat with you and are genuinely lovely people. I want to go back just so I can go into Parsons! Would highly recommend this bakery to people :)

Went in today about 10.30am. Had the rudest service... Went in asked for a coffee was told 'yeah' with? Who runs a business like this. At no point was there please or thank you except by myself. Was glad to leave and will never give my custom again .

Best place to go in hungerford (much better than Squires🤢) Very friendly staff, service is always quick, sometimes only one member of staff and still very quick... appears very clean and everything is very fresh

Friendly and food it sort of ok but I don’t understand why the prices are higher than their shop in Newbury. When I asked why I was told because they could charge more in Hungerford.

Buy a cake most days for my little ones staff so friendly and and go over and above to make anything fresh you chose if not readily available. Well done to this team a credit to Hungerford. A smile and hello cost nothing other eateries take note. By the way baguettes and cakes delicious.

Good choice of delicious bkaery food to choose from, drinks and cakes are also very good and tasty. The staff were kind and helpful, worth a visit!

Loads of fresh homemade products and competitively priced! top recommendation for lunch! Cakes look amazing! Baguettes are so good and so big!

So I work in an office of 14 people. We have 14 birthdays each year between us. Office policy... You buy the bacon/sausage sandwiches in your birthday! Fair enough. Only this place moaned like anything at a pre-order of £40 worth of bacon/sausage sandwiches and told me "We do have other customers you know"! I couldn't believe that my money was not as good as others. Never stepped foot in the place since and now we use Squires.

Efficient service, freshly baked breads, cakes and meals.. Very good value, highly recommend for lunch on the go.

Great value meal deals which include a bap/bagette and a hot/cold drink as well as a choice of cakes which are yummy. Don't think is there is any where in Hungerford that I have found that does such good value. No-where to sit though so just take away and closes quite early about 4 ish.

Visited on a Sunday evening without pre booking and we were made most welcome The staff were courteous,polite and very efficient.had a lovely meal and will revisit soon.

I have lived locally for a number of years but rarely have the time to explore Hungerford. Two days ago I went to Hungerford and decided to get a snack at Parsons Bakery. What a pleasure it was. The Sausage roll was divine - probably the best I have had and the fruit and nut Flapjack was unlike any I have had before. Best of all though we're the staff, who welcomed me as if I were an old friend and even shared a joke. I will certainly return.

That's what the shop and the paper carrier bag I took home said. It showed in everything I experienced! The shop looked great, the staff were very friendly, polite and helpful, the food I purchased really did taste like it had been crafted with a great deal of attention as to how it would look and taste. I bought veggie sausage rolls and iced buns and they are seriously the best I've every tasted anywhere. There are several Parsons bakeries, so if you live west of Berkshire you need to search one out and try for yourself - I promise you won't be disappointed!
