Good Wetherspoons pub. Didn’t eat but enjoyed good Doom Bar at cheap prices. Nice buzzy atmosphere. What’s not to like?

Blonde idiot manager told us to pay for food he accidentally gave to us. His fault made us pay or was going to kick us out. Food was crap too.

I came to your pub on 1st January 2024, which was new Years Day and it was very busy in there and got a seat on the platform, in a booth. I had a lovely Chicken and chilli wrap, but ordered Chicken wrap without the chilli. When it came over there was sweet chilli sauce in with the chicken and lettuce, however, it was very tasty and delicious. I have Kidney disease and have to be careful with fluid in sauces and drinks, that is why i ordered a chicken wrap without the sweet chilli sauce. I did enjoy my lunch with friends and sometimes we come in and have to sit on the ground level, as i come into the pub in my wheelchair, if i have banking or shopping to do in Winton, because my Kidney disease makes me very tired when walking a fair distance. We usually find a seat and somewhere to put the wheelchair, as i sometime move into a chair nearer to the table or sometime when have not a lot ot time I sit in my wheelchair at the table. My Husband uses the app. or my Support Workers come to the bar on my behalf and make my order, as i am Serverly Sight Impaired, which means Registered Blind. I sometimes get a children's glass of lemonade, as i can only have small glasses or cups a drink 4 times a day dues to my kidneys. We hope to be in again soon?

The double American cheese burger. Well I'm not sure what's American about it. Tiny little burgers(this would be a starter in America) ,burnt to a crisp. Chips ,burnt too. The change on the new menu for burgers at this place is terrible and simply not being able to cook a burger and chips is staggering. From our table. Numerous orders came out wrong. My daughter's chips so burnt and hard the NHS will be forking out for new teeth for the poor kid. Having to advise your child to suck the chips first to soften them, is a tad of an issue. Long and short of it.. if you want at proper burger . Don't go here or any other spoons. If you want your order to arrive as you asked... Don't go here. If you want it cooked properly..don't go here. Fyi... I know I'm at spoons. But even for them, this is staggering.

so we had our food delivered to the table with a few things wrong and when we complained about the food the first shift manager short with black hair was the rudest man i have come across how ever when we had nearly finished our food a manager called luke came over to our table and asked if everything was ok and we explained to him our concerns and he made sure everything was put right and couldn’t ask for a better experience from a manager it’s just a shame i couldn’t say the same for the shift manager at the time however i would just like to say thank you luke you did a great job

We have just moved down to Bournemouth and today was able to visit the spoons in Winton. Have to say what a beautiful establishment it was, one of the best I have ever come across. I had the large full english breakfast accompanied by a steaming capuccio and a glass of chilled orange juice. The lady, BECCA behind the bar and serving us the food was exceptionally good, very friendly, compitent and made us feel really at home. As far as cutsomer service concerned she raised the bar to the next level!. The breakfast, freshly cooked, by a wonderful young chef was utterly delicious, very tasty and came promtply. Can't wait to return to this fantastic establishenment.

This is a Wetherspoon pub, so you're getting reasonably priced food and drink. The range of drinks is good and there's always new ales on offer. The food is also good. We had the ramen bowl which was delicious. What always impresses me about this pub though is how good the staff are. Helpful, personable and quick. This isn't budget hospitality. Give it a go. You won't be sorry.

The staff were welcoming, bright happy clean atmosphere, and very good food. We ordered a breakfast and a main meal, both cooked as requested. Will return again.

Visited with friends to do the pub quiz on a Sunday night, great atmosphere in the oub, the host was very entertaining and a great all round quiz. Cheap drinks and food and staff very friendly. Would recommend to friends and family.

Never got the full menu. Tables need a good clean . Hate to think what the kitchen looks like. Staff always look rushed off there feet. Should hire more people. Food cheap enough. But a bit bland.

A bit different in there now. More tables, everyone was very friendly and happy to see me. Had some good conversations with staff. Quite busy and great prices. Lots of people eating. We had a great evening.

Manager is and his cronies are rude, and food was so cold it still had a heartbeat. Any other Wetherspoons is better, period.

They have a quiz on a Sunday and the batch of students think it’s ok to cheat and they do and they win so if you want to win the quiz pot bring your phone

This is a Wetherspoon, so you know what you're getting: a good range of food and drink at a good price. It's a nice pub but what really distinguishes it is the staff who are professional, good natured and helpful. Recommended.

Food arrived promptly and the staff were lovely esspecially the blonde manager behind the bar !! 5* service !!

How can you get a simple cheese and tomato panini wrong? No cheese in it, bread like leather, thinnest slices of tomatoes ever, no taste whatsoever. Took it back, was bluntly asked what I wanted them to do about it. "Replace it by a panini which does contain cheese". Replacement came, slightly more cheese but inedible too. I have been to other Wetherspoons and have had the same cheese and tomato panini, which turned out to be delicious (try The Imperial in Exeter), this has to be the worst. Tables dirty, floor dirty, nobody cares.

Paid for a round of drinks and had them taken away after being wrongfully accused of accepting other drinks. The manager then proceeds to refuse a refund for that round and accuse us of “stealing” right after he stole from me by refusing a refund....

I know that there are a lot of negative reviews, but I can honestly say that every time I’ve been in there, I’ve always had a good time. Is this the best pub in the world? Of course not - the prices maybe rock bottom,...

Primera visita aquí para mí. Una de las Wetherspoons más pequeñas en las que he estado. Interior no muy emocionante. Tuve un par de cervezas que tenían un precio muy razonable. También probé las nuggets de pollo frito del sur con papas fritas. Totalmente promedio y creo que debería haber ordenado algo más en su lugar. Me senté en varias mesas durante mi visita, y todas estaban pegajosas y necesitaban una limpieza. El personal fue amable y eficiente. Probablemente volveré la próxima vez que esté en la zona.

This weatherspoons is deffinately a drinking place and not a place to go for a meal. They have a small kitchen apparently so no fryer. I didn't mind this too mucj but the burgers were awful. The bun was soggy and they hadn't melted the cheese like usual. The server gave us the burgers the wrong way round after asking who's was who's and we had to clean our own table and the highchair.

Well when we arrived it was plan to see that the place was under staffed. One on the bar, one on app drinks. Lots of dirty glasses around. Had to wait 15 minutes to be served after bar staff let others push in front of me. When we received our food, children's meal cold, three meals had cold chips. Added cheese to a burger not there, in the wrap instead. Garlic pizza burnt. When I asked to see the manager he finally came over said what do you want the meals redone or a refund. No proper apology. Then after a sort of replacing of this food. We ordered a dessert one came out still frozen. It's a joke. The staff were trying their hardest but not good for the whole chain as it has put us all off. You pay for what you get. But this meal should have been they pay us. Very disend hearted.This is not the same across the whole chain but one can let the rest down. I and my wife are both in the hospitality tread. And feel let down on our sons 40th birthday.

Apenas entramos en el pub y comenzamos a escuchar muchas palabras que "salían de la boca de alguien". Eso, junto con aquellos de los Houston que sienten que todos los demás quieren escuchar todo sobre su vida privada (grita en lugar de hablar). Es obvio que este pub en particular se está convirtiendo rápidamente en un área prohibida para familias decentes.

My husband and I went to Winton Wetherspoons to meet my cousin and his partner. The ladies were disgusting toilet paper non existent except on the floor and smelt of stale urine. They closed the windows and told everyone that was sitting outside to come in at 9.00pm even though it was still hot. It closed at 11.00pm (I thought we had 24 hour trading now in the uk) the pub is on a main high street for goods sake! When it came ti closing time the bar staff who were very rude couldn't wait to get rid of us. We had your money now get out attitude. I definitely will not going back to this pub.

Cuando entramos por primera vez en el pub, pensamos que era un poco rudo. ! ! Gran error fue encantador. Nos sirvieron enseguida de Margarita, que era encantadora y mientras esperábamos, nos pidieron de nuevo a otro miembro del personal si nos hubieran servido. Era un ambiente encantador y cuando fui a los baños me quedé impresionado con 5 estrellas, muy limpio y con un alto nivel. Pensé que parecía un palacio con el sofá, definitivamente volveremos y lo haremos con todo el personal que trabaja duro. Volveremos otra vez ?????????

The only wetherspoons that don’t have fat chips. They were skinny, soft and undercooked and my brownie was rock hard and burnt and made me gag. Fuming x

Came in for a small meeting and very impressed with the Parkstone and Heatherlands. Welcoming atmosphere, very friendly and chatty staff and amazing value for money. Food was great, can tell they use ovens as opposed to fryers here but no complaints about it from me. Would definitely recommend and will come again.

Just popped into this pub for a quick pint on Bank Holiday Monday.After waiting for the barman to finish arguing with a customer he eventually turned to me. What a rude,obnoxious individual. No welcome,please or thank-yous, just a nod. His interaction with other members of staff led me to conclude this guy was on drugs of some description. You have to see this guy to believe it.

Service was fine but we had to walk through a cloud of smoke to get in. Dear Mr Martin please can you put a stop to smoking in the doorway. Sadly this isn't the only 'Spoons where this happens.

I travel the whole of Europe and great Britain as a tour guide I often take groups and tourists to weatherspoons and recommend them for extremely good valve and the fact they have renovated so many historical buildings however I feel Mr Martin has let his self down badly with the Parkstone and Heatherlands. I can honestly say the attitude and lack of service is disgusting there is only one member of staff who is pleasant which being Lydia and don't know how she can work with the other members. I feel it is a great shame that when I'm home I cannot visit this venue due to lack of hygiene and attitude.

A whetherspoons is always busy especially around lunch and the evening so cannot fault them on that.

Came here for food for a friends birthday and was excited to find they had a new 'Gourmet Vegan Burger' on the menu,

We visited over this weekend. I had a look at the menu before arriving and I decided to get Eggs Royale. I stood in the que to make an order for our table, when it got to my turn I made an order and I was informed that 'you ran out of poached eggs' I found it quite bizzare and I asked 'but you still got fried eggs?' I got a reply that you do and it's just poached eggs. When I told the lady at the bar that I have to go and double check who wants what she rolled her eyes and when I went to make an order again she pretended she did not see me and served other people. I'd understand if I was explained that they don't do them for whatever reason but it wasn't even that busy. It would've been okay if it was closer to finishing serving breakfast but I tried to make to order just before 11. Not happy about the whole experience at all. At the end of the day both fried and poached eggs take 2 minutes to cook. Dissapointed.

Went to meet some friends for quiz night and decided to order food. I was the only one eating and ordered the all day brunch. it didn't look very inviting when the plate arrived, the sausages looked horrible & tasted horrible. The eggs weren't much better.

The pub is cheap and cheerful and I really enjoyed my visit. Came in with my husband and daughter and had a lovely evening. Bar staff were great.

We don't usually eat there but often pop in for a coffee or drink. Today we went for fish and chips. I don't think they do Fish and chips Fridays like other Wetherspoons. However we had the two breaded fish and chips which were very nice. The staff there work very hard but often the tables don't get cleared at busy times.

Called in here for a couple of pints today. Beer was OK, but served by probably the most miserable bar maid in the world. I appreciate that Spooons are always understaffed, but at least try and be friendlier, to those that pay your wages. Or alternatively work somewhere else

Food is dead, staff are dead, atmosphere is dead. Full of +65 year olds so the staff kick off when we make a bit of noise. My friend william and I were both yelled at for moving a table from one table to another. The lady, who I presume was the manager, was giving it beans and she’s lucky she didn’t get a slap tbh. Only positive is my friend jack Michaelson very much enjoyed his BBQ chicken pizza which he described “I really liked it however the onions were raw and the base is A3 paper thin and I had to cut the pizza myself with a blunt knife. Also I had to ask my kind friend Kieran to politely cut it after wrestling with my food other than that it was okay”. After further review despite any other birthdays I shall never attend this spoons again as it’s a disgrace to brand name. I will point out there are some naughty slot machines at the back of the pub which I wouldn’t reccomend to anyone experiencing addictions.

The worst spoons I’ve ever eaten at, the service was awful came for nans birthday and they were disgustingly rude, the pints were mid warm and also the food is the worst I’ve ever had I ordered chips and a burger got given the wrong burger and they didn’t refund me and the chips were so cold and uncooked.

On a rare visit here I was disgusted by the service of some of the staff in particular a short lady with long blonde hair who was really rude I complained about my food and she was less than sympathetic, I overheard that she is known as “the poison dwarf “ by the other members of staff due to her bad attitude.The place has no atmosphere and the flies outnumber the customers in fact they enjoyed my food more than I did!! I won’t be returning.

Food came out a mess, asked for the egg in particular to be replaced.. 15 minutes later and they bring out a egg uncooked on the top and say “sorry it’s busy” Waitress had a bad attitude and was less than helpful.

Having had many breakfasts from different spoons before, my friend and I decided to go out for one this morning. Having just moved into the area we hadn’t had food service from this spoons yet. We just made it in time for the breakfasts and ordered at 11:55am. Half an hour later and our food still isn’t here. We decide to ask a waitress working here if she could check our order for us. Seeming uninterested she asked anyway. 5 minutes later she came out and said they’ve been busy this morning and still have breakfast orders waiting. With no apologetic manner or sincerity she continued working. Not understanding our frustration of having to wait this long for a breakfast! Having waited a total of 50 minutes we decided to get a refund and go else where for food. Waiting up at the bar for service took an additional 5 minutes, once we were served it appears our food was sent out to our table. The woman at the bar who served us seemed very irritable by us and didn’t say sorry or show any sympathy. Having worked in customer service as a waitress for two years it’s not hard to smile and apologise which is something essential when working in this field. The only thing said by this woman to us as an excuse was that it was a busy morning and all the orders came in at once. However we could see multiple empty tables and a stream of food coming out to tables that had got there after us.

Visited with 3 friends on a Thursday evening. Pub was very busy many students. We hadf a few drinks & as it was curry night had a curry. Good choice of curries & we had Chicken tikka masalas. The curry came with basmati rice, 2 papadums & a naan bread all for £6.90 including a drink. Great value & the curry was pretty good. Drinks are very cheap as well. Highly recommend this place.

Decide to pop in here for a quick late lunch but decided against it as the chairs were filthy and the menus were sticky and dirty. If the management are happy for the public area to be unhygienic then I don’t hold much hope for the kitchen. We got up and left. Sort it out Wetherspoons!!!

Thought we'd try here for a lunch with friends and overall it was good but such a shame because we hadn't been before we didn't understand about the "drink included in the price" . We ordered our alcoholic drinks and sat down to look at the menu. On ordering our "including drinks meal" we weren't asked what drinks we wanted and we didn't worry as we were going to have coffee after our meal which we thought was included. When we had finished our meal we went to order desserts and get our "included drinks" only to be told that we should have been asked what drinks we wanted at the time of paying for the meal and that we couldn't have our "included drinks"!!!!!

From the outside it looks drab and dreary but through the door and you are in a clean and tidy pub. Great service, quick and friendly. Spotless tables. Would certainly return.

Arranged a catch up with some friends and grabbed a large table that seated 9 of us easily. What a range of drinks they had on offer! So many gins we lost count. Great beers and a whole massive fridge of cider! Everyone was well pleased. Staff were great and very polite. Seemed really busy even for a Thursday and the atmosphere was spot on. Very broad mix of customers. Table was a bit sticky but someone sorted that pretty quick.

i m italian and i really like the pizza very tasty and great value ..great staff too very welcoming and very attentive will go back shortly

Been in here a few times and always good food went in here yesterday and the menu has changed all the good things we liked I.e. mixed grill, steaks have been taken off, instead of fish which was always nice has been changed to 2 oven baked fish! The chips which were always nice have now changed to fries which were horrible and under cooked, onion rings wasn’t nice either. I presume the menu has changed all across the board if this is so I won’t be eating in any of the weatherspoons again!

We couldn’t be bothered making dinner. So we went to Spoons for a curry. We are regulars here and it is a friendly bar.

I am a regular visitor to this pub and I have to say I’m really enjoying the cider festival that is currently on . There are some great varieties a wide choice and all at a really good value . Also have to say I’m served by some great geezers including Reece , Gary , Josh & Jack . My top tip is to check out the managers specials board for some great eats

Standard Wetherspoon menu, good tasty food, and of course a great selection of beers, including some local brews. Staff were very pleasant despite being busy, and food came quicker than they had said.

I visit this pub very regularly and have made good friends with the staff for many years now. I love drinking here I always feel relaxed and welcome. Thank you all

Great value and drinks served properly by super friendly staff , we particularly like the gin and are spoilt for choice . The curry is our regular favourite on a Thursday and includes a free drink !!

Afternoon beers with Dad who loves his ale. He was wanting a dark beer but happy to drink some 49’ers instead. I had a mix of largers and ale which were good. I appreciated the offer to bring the beer to the table when changing the barrel

The toilets in the pub, it is very smelling and disgusting as there are no windows there.

Al usar la app, particularmente útil whetherspoons las camareras tomó la decisión de servir en la forma más atroz. Ella prácticamente pasa a la mesa, cerrándose por las bebidas y salir mientras intentamos preguntarle por algunos permitamos. Entonces ella trajo la última copa y nos las arreglamos para preguntarle por permitamos. Ella trae suficiente permitamos para todo el pub combinado y nos da un aspecto sucio. En la honestidad que encontrar este tipo de spiteful, servicio frustrados, cansada y espero que otras cucharas patrono es forzado a experimentar este nivel de servicio.

Este es un local para mi y para ser sincero, por el precio no me puedo quejar. Gran selección de bebidas a precios razonables y la comida decente por el precio. Servicio rápido - ish dependiendo de cómo muchos de los empleados. La única crítica que tengo es que en las horas pico podrían utilizar uno o dos más personal en el bar. El personal hace un gran trabajo para lo que es.

We regularly eat here for breakfast and I can totally recommend the breakfast wrap and the porridge, but sadly the food we had yesterday was inedible under and over cooked raw soggy chips and soggy and burnt onion rings rock hard sausages and sloppy eggs I no it's a cheap place to eat but my £13 might as well have been thrown away

Fuimos para el almuerzo (1:00) como en la zona por primera vez. El pub está un poco destartalado y no muchos clientes que debería haber sido una señal de aviso. Pedimos un arroz y frijoles sencillo tanto para nosotros. Esperamos alrededor de 10 / 15 minutos que por un número de clientes de unos pocos fue largo. Llegó y terriblemente presentado y no muy caliente. El arroz era un desastre y se sirve en un plato frío. Frijoles también desordenados. La mayoría de la izquierda. Que no volveré.

En general, buena relación calidad-precio, el desayuno con mi familia de 5 adultos y 3 niños. Encontrar una mesa que cabíamos todos nosotros. Las dos sillas altas para bebés sin ningún problema. Menú de desayuno. Ordenados todos los alimentos y bebidas y tenía de 30 libras, lo cual es una excelente relación calidad-precio. .

The last two times I've been in here the food has gone down hill, this time I had the Chicken wings and dips, the wings were over greasy and anaemic with black burnt bits from the grill or pan stuck to them. Blue cheese dip was not one of the best either 'Not impressed'.

To think I used to come to this place quite regularly, I would never set foot in the place again. The manager is very rude and un friendly, and if you so much as make a little bit of noise, talk loudly than expect to be barred for life. Ridiculous!!! Fast and friendly service with a smile! Food came out really quick and was great value for money. I had a pizza which was delicious. Huge range of drinks available with meals that include a drink, and lots of options on menu for people with dietary needs too. Will definitely be coming back soon.

I have visited your pub with my family and couldn't be happier with service we received. Great atmosphere and great staff followed by really nice hot food. Myself and my family really enjoyed our dinner at your establishment. Definitely will come back again.

Went here with a large family group. They were very accommodating and helped us set some tables together. Lovely, polite staff. Excellent value food with lots of deals/ offers. There's a very big range of craft beers including some great Belgian gems. Catered for a wide range of appetites and even had gluten free and dairy free menu options.Oh, and they do pizza!!

Where do I start!!Our group are regular "Spoons" users but this one is one of the worst we have ever been to. The server, with long greasy hair, was far from friendly or polite and kept touching her hair then serving our drinks ( yeuch). We returned to place our food order ( different staff member) same unfriendly attitude.]Food when it came out was at best tepid and looked like it had been thrown on the plate. By the time we managed to get some assistance from a server the food was cold!This is one "Spoons" we will NOT be returning to or recommending

We came here i had the bbq burger doubled up, wife had gourmet chicken burger and we had a bowl of onion rings as extra, it came out the chips were well and truly burnt, and the onion rings were just black all around the outside, wont be back here again

Ordered pie, mash and peas. This was cold. Brunch burger awful. Dry burger. bacon, chips and onion rings were oven cooked and burnt. Fried egg had been absolutly cremated. Very unhappy table of 4.

I pop in here quite often usually for a coffee & breakfast & also the odd evening. The staff are friendly & polite, a special mention to Kevin, Reece, Jennie & Kim who always greet me with a smile & go above & beyond. The food & drink prices are really very reasonable & food comes out usually in 10-15 minutes. A great range of cocktails which are delicious & very reasonably priced. My only criticism is that I wish they had more booths to sit in & they are unable to have ' steak ' night like other weatherspoon pubs due to the equipment in the kitchen, but this isn't down to the staff.

Went in for just a simple plate of fish and chips... At no point at all in the hour I was there did any staff make any effort to clean or clear tables. Old food and glasses on many tables, and they were very quiet in terms of new customers arriving whilst I was there. Staff at more concerned to chat between themselves at the end of the bar. Not the best.
