Some good food, but expensive. Half the menu was not available on almost every day of the stay. Had some lovely waitresses but the ones on the kiosk were disgusting and so rude.

Really disappointing experience. Came here at the start of our weekend to nice friendly staff. However, today they were blunt, unwelcoming, and generally really ruined the experience as the food was not bad. Not the service I would expect anywhere and definitely will not be risking coming back here again.

Great staff, excellent service. The waiting times are low and if there's an issue with your order they will rectify it promptly. The portion sizes are just right for me but my friends, who are used to larger sizes commented on it. For a family orientated diner I'd say it's about what I'd expect

The food was nice but the drinks were really bad. Their digital menu was not kept up to date with stock and everything was decanted into plastic cups. Additionally they did not refund us the difference in drinks when they run out of stock and we ordered something else. Dissapointing performance from the bar staff especially as the kitchen crew obviously put a lot of hard work into the presentation of their food.

Unfortunately both our meals were poor. Chips lukewarm and the gammon steak tough as old boots. Poor quality all round. No chefs here!

Far too expensive for what you get £24 for a mixed grill. Lowest is £15 for fish and chips.

Very expensive for really poor quality food. Grilled chicken was full of gristle, salad was brown and kids mac and cheese coats £8 🤔

So far, I've had the lasagne and traditional breakfast. A personal highlight of mine was the mushrooms, nice and buttery. Prices are a tiny bit steep but that's to be expected at a holiday park. Overall, I'd definitely eat here again!

Went to eat there with family while staying at the caravan resort. The place was clean and decor is ok. The staff there were friendly but very busy. Having family in the hospitality sector, I think they could do with one or two more staff during the peak times. Food was ok. The burger 🍔 I had was nice but nothing special. My brother had a mixed meat thing which was also ok, but the sausages that came with it were burnt and very black. We asked for new sausages to be cooked as they were black but then they came with sausages that looked white not even browned. We gave up with the sausages and gave them to our dog 🐕 instead. The kids had mac and cheese which was very oily. Never seen this much oil in mac and cheese before. That’s one of my little girls favourite dish and she too found it too oily. We visited as a family of 6. It’s an ok place to eat but I personally wouldn’t want to eat there again.

We waited over an hour for food and when it arrived it wasn’t up to standard. One calamari dish arrived 40 minutes before the other dishes. We ordered two portions of calamari, both portions were pink, gutted improperly and seemed undercooked. The pizza barely had any toppings on for the price ( five pieces of pineapple and even less ham for £15) the pizza was dry almost stale feeling. onion rings dish didn’t have enough in the bowl for the price either. Onion rings don’t take over an hour to cook. Also a pint of thatchers gold was £6.05

Decent restaurant on site at the park. Prices are reasonable, what I would expect from a captive audience at a holiday park. All the food was tasty and prepared well. The staff are very attentive and the place is very clean. Reasonably quiet during the day, unsure what it is like in the evenings.

Our third visit to the Angelbury. Very good food, very reasonable prices and very friendly service. Interesting history to the building with connections to T E Lawrence (Lawrence of Arabia).

We'd read the mixed (mainly bad reviews!) before camping at next-door Primrose Fields and couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised. The family that ran the pub were lovely; warm, welcoming, accommodating and friendly. It was a super hot day and I didn't fancy a hot meal which is all they had on the menu - so I asked if there was any chance of a sandwich - no fuss, no bother - I wasn't made to feel difficult at all! Sandwich was big and delish; tuna crunch with salad on fresh tiger bloom and a side of tasty chips. The rest of our party had a mix of burgers, scampi, more sandwiches (I set a trend!), all of which were very well received. Not a morsel left. After lunch, I went to see if they might have any ice creams, and very kindly, they sold us six cornettos which were evidently from their family supply - I was really impressed with their above and beyond attitude. In addition, the pub garden is lovely; big mature trees, a wildlife pond, big lawn with sun and shade seating options, mini play park for the kids - all set way back from the road so you really feel you're in the middle of the country. All in all, it felt more like going to someone's house than a pub which I really liked. Would definitely recommend to any campers or passers by.

Thought I’d give this place another go after my first experience and it’s no better and is more expensive. Burger was so soggy that I couldn’t even pick it up! The roll was so soggy it had disintegrated! I had to eat with knife and fork and it made me feel queasy due to texture of it all! The chips were over cooked and the oil they were cooked in tasted cheap! For one person to spend £17.95 on a meal that was more like burger soup with very brown fries, I will never be trying again. Thank god I decided to try when my partner was out as the whole meal would have cost double! Why oh why can’t Swanage do things right! Is it where people come who can’t make it anywhere else? I’m not happy!
