Park Life Cafe in Tower Hamlets

I simply asked for a coconut chai latte. I was given a half full cup and simply asked why it was this way. I was literally scolded. I asked if they had a price difference if so I wasn't told and can pay the difference. Again I was scolded. I'm sorry but the serve staff inside very very rude. All the other customers inside at the time commented. I didn't ask for anything particular and I wasn't rude or demanding. Instead of remaking my drink the staff chose to simply as they said fill it up with milk. And I said I'm sorry but that isn't acceptable. The female staff then in turn said in the loudest voice okay I'll do take two on the late then filled all The way to the top. Sorry again I paid for a latte. Why shouldn't my drink be the size I paid for. she had the most awful attitude and again multiple people commented on it. And I still haven't been rude in anyway. If you have a small business like this. Hire pleasurable people. Rude staff will break this business.

Visited the cafe in the newly opened Britannia leisure centre in Shoreditch Park. Very expensive for what we ordered. I ordered the salt beef on a bloomer, the bloomer was rock hard with no butter and the beef wasn’t salt beef but very dry roast beef and I mean very very dry and a few leaves thrown in for decoration. I tried to order a bacon bap but because it was on the breakfast menu wasn’t available at 12.30 but there was no time restrictions on the menu. Would I eat here again? Definitely not it was a waste of £22

Really lovely staff. We had a nice latte and smoothie. Would be better if wasn’t raining, but now you can sit inside.

Menú limitado pero delicioso respaldado por un servicio personal y servicial. Buena relación calidad-precio y la porción de fichas era lo suficientemente grande para 2. Si viviéramos localmente seríamos clientes habituales.

El personal aquí es siempre muy amable y agradable, un alivio para los problemas de la pandemia. He venido aquí con mucha regularidad durante los últimos meses y el servicio siempre ha sido 10/10 y el café siempre delicioso. Muchas gracias por hacerlo tan cálido y acogedor.

Semplicemente strepitoso..Ti aspetti di mangiare un panino e trovi una cuoca fantastica,cucina italiana di tutto rispetto,esci e dici sono stato in un ristorante pentastellato. Veramente ottimo,la maestria di Maria è ineccepibile. Torneremo presto.

I’ve been coming to Burgess Park for years and the cafe used to be ok but not great. Well, what a change! It looks clean, modern and the coffee is great now! I have to mention the wonderful staff who always have a smile on their face and kindly made me one more coffee even though they were about to close. The cafe is situated next to the playgrounds so great if you have kids.

We came here after a Saturday parkrun. It's a lovely cafe, the muffin and the tea were great. The only bad part was the long wait. It only had one person behind the counter, so the service was very slow.

Have been here a few times but iam sure it has changed management. The decor has been updated and its fine but this time the food was undercooked and the staff must have been over busy as our drinks arrived after the second prompt when we had nearly finished our meal.

A great place to take old and young alike as I visit with my elderly parents, uncles, one in a wheelchair and children. Enough space for a wheelchair to be easily fitted in. A good choice of food on offer to suite all tastes. Place is very clean and the staff are very accommodating and friendly. The food portions are good and the food is well presented, hot and very tasty. I all a great place to go. The park is lovely too, and a walk around the pretty cottage gardens behind the café is a must.

Always excellent quality food and service with a smile! Happy to accommodate requests and they have a great range of food. Secluded garden behind is beautiful to easily forget you are in central London.
