Park Bistro, Windsor in Windsor and Maidenhead

A very pleasant surprise in the heart of Windsor, just a stone's throw from a convenient covered car park and the castle. There is a children's menu, which is always appreciated, and the general quality of the food is very good. In addition, the staff is very friendly and the service is fast, everything is really great.

Lovely pizza, great Spaghetti, friendly staff, good spot on a sunny corner. Great altogether.

Fish and chips wasn't great at all worst I've had. I'e had better oven food. I'm shocked by the good reviews, I think they're fake. Tourist trap.

Amazing birthday meal with family!

This place was just the best, service was kind and timely, the food was amazing, absolutely the best Bruschetta I have ever had. The pizza was perfect, crispy and tasty.

The bruschetta starter was delicious. It is a must if you stop in for a snack or wake up your appetite! The pizzas were great (my family were loving them), but I wanted the chicken and mushroom linguine. The wonderful, subtle flavors were divine! The pasta was perfect by itself, and adding the rest made for a tasty treat this afternoon. Luigi greeted us and was very attentive. He was very nice and helpful with all our questions. Thank you Luigi!

The food was okay, my steak was a little bland but cooked well. Kids had pizza which was good. My wife's vegetable casserole was quite oily and a bit disappointing. My dad really enjoyed his lamb chops and the sea bass was cooked really well. Dessert was decent too Staff were great, really friendly and accommodating.

Considering the location, and how some places might exploit it, this was good value for me. Music played was a good mixture of genres and at a nice volume that added an atmosphere but didn't ruin the dining experience. The gentleman serving was very polite and even I was dining alone he did not expect me to be on a smaller table. I would heartily recommend this place, and delighted to say I had a Lovely Lamd Lunch in the Centre of Windsor.

Wow, that was the best burger that I have ever eaten!!!! I popped in for a quick cheeky burger after reading google reviews and I was very pleasantly surprised. I received a very warm welcome and the waitress was very pleasant. I ordered the burger (cooked medium) and a black Americano. The Americano came and it was a pleasant medium roast, very well made with the water at the right temperature (not burnt). The burger came shortly after and I was not expecting a full-on, thick, 8oz slab of locally sourced beef that dwarfed the brioche bun. With the first bite, I was in heaven. This was the best and juiciest burger that I have had around this area by far. I was able speak to the owner who proudly told me about the history of the restaurant and that all their dishes use a local butcher for their meat. I will return to hopefully try their Italian dishes providing I can resist that wonderful burger (of which I will be ordering again). Thank you so much for taking so much pride and care of the food that you serve. I will be back.

Lovely place. Went there with family and friends. Very friendly staff. Wonderful singer that evening. Tasty food: Lovely juicy fish and chips, good tasty steaks with chips and wonderful appetisers. I might have perhaps spiced up the kofta a little more. But the squid and the calamari were delicious and we ordered them twice.

However the kitchen didn't produce, my steak was very mediocre, the lamb shank came out without mint sauce, the pizza was terrible tbh, better pizza from a supermarket. The starters were nice though, just the mains were very mediocre. But really in considering the price point.

Not too bad, had a dinner here on a Thursday evening. No one else in the establishment. T Bone steak ordered x 3 which were okay, quite thin for the value. Probably wouldn’t return - good service however.

After touring the castle we were ready to eat. This was the perfect place to sit and dine!

The absolutely best dining experience during my trip to the UK. The manager (could be the owner), greeted us at the door and made us more than welcomed. He kindly answered all our questions and made great suggestions. We got the lamb chops and sirloin steak. I’m not a lab chop expert but it has been one of the best chops I have ever had. Perfectly seasoned and cooked. The inside was clean and soothing. I will definitely dine here again when in Windsor next time. Hidden gem not to be missed.

The experience that my friends and I had here was wonderful! The food is amazing, but the people running this establishment are what made it phenomenal! We were visiting from the USA and could not have asked for a better meal experience after walking hours through Windsor Castle. We ordered the 3 course meal option. The appetizers, lamb chops, steak, apple pie, and tiramisu were mouth watering. Luigi and Serge (not sure of spelling) were fantastic hosts. I loved the fact that this is a family owned business and they took care of us as if we were family. Delicious experience and a must visit. We will certainly be coming back when we visit again.

Such a sad place! I stopped using TripAdvisor as it’s plagued by fake reviews. Until today, I hoped Google reviews were more immune to these scams. This bistro is rated 4.8 but the quality of food is far below any acceptable average. I feel actually sad as their service is rather pleasant as if the waitress was totally unaware that the food she serves is mediocre. Budget supermarket freezer comes to mind. Nothing fresh, nothing tasty and sadly I don’t think this bistro has any future in the culinary scene of Windsor.

We had lunch after seeing the restaurant's high rating. I ordered Dolma, a Turkish dish which is rice stuffed peppers. The food was tasteless, but I didn't mind as I was hungry until I found a thick black hair in the rice stuffing. My partner who was halfway through his plate couldn't continue eating either. They removed that dish, dolma from the bill when I showed the hair to the waitress, though. In short, I don't recommend it.

I ordered the Pesto Pasta Alfredo for my lunch dish. It was a perfect light and refreshing pick-me-up after walking the castle. For dessert I ordered the cheesecake and it was delicious. Overall, my experience at Park Bistro was nothing short of exceptional. I wholeheartedly recommend this charming gem to anyone visiting Windsor. I’m already looking forward to my next trip to the UK so I can return and savor these dishes again!

Definitely not the experience I expected from a restaurant with such a high rating. The food was average at best, and the service was lacking. I informed the staff that I could not eat onion or garlic and specifically requested that my linguini with prawns be made without onion. Unfortunately, the dish was served with onion, causing me significant discomfort for the rest of the evening. It’s quite unprofessional not to accommodate dietary requests, especially when I’ve been clear about my needs. Most places communicate clearly when modifications aren't possible.
