Curry chef made me my favourite dish. Was awesome.

I had lamb tikka takeaway very disappointing Lamb very tough...sauce old have been from a jar onion salad roughly chopped ,& thick won't be returnjng

This has to be the most terrible copy of any Indian food. The meals we ordered were different but all tasted the same…very sweet, not one discernible spice, and extremely sweet. This is clearly a joke! No spices, no heat! Avoid big time!

Great Indian food,apparently they also serve english food ...beer was excellent as were the locals who made us feel at home

garlic chicken was really nice . Had better naan breads though.

Me & my dog love it here! Very dog friendly & the pub garden is great for people watching in sainsbury's car park!

Seems like it would be an okay pub but felt a little unwelcoming. People sit right at the bar in the way of the pumps and order point, and only seem willing to move for people they know. My beer was also in a dirty glass.

Great little pub, great priced drinks, all you need for a meet-up with a few friends. Pool, music etc. We had a great evening. Thank you guys . We will be back.

Went in to use the toilet and a guy came in shouting telling me and my friend to get out. Honestly so rude said we only wanted to use the toilet and that we were of age and slammed the door and shouted okay be quick

Took Mum out for a meal today, we chose a curry at 'Parish Pump Pub' On walking in as usual was greeted with warm smile & welcome by all staff.Dining tables clean , food was nothing short of spot on cooked to perfection presented beautifully & im very picky lol.Lovely atmosphere/decor and a great pub feeling about the place to, would not hesitate to recommend to anyone families friends old and young.Get ya self down there & enjoy.🍻

I used to drink here a few years ago on a regular basis and it was clean looking with quite a few choices of beer, lager and cider. Having just been in there I couldn't wait to drink my beverage and get out of there. There is a distinct lack in the choices of beverage. The interior paint work needs serious attention. The tables and chairs look like someone has gone to the charity shop or the dump and said sod it that will do. I honestly felt like wiping my feet on the way out. This pub needs a complete overhaul.!!!!

Nice garden in the warmer weather

Have not been in there for a quite a while I found it quiet just as I like it it's just a place to go to watch sport but unfortunately I'm not a sporty person, the landlady was pleasance and friendly, the only disappointing was that they didn't have any alcohol free beer, but as I said that one stop me going back.

Slightly seedy and run down but under new management so things looking up. Currently cash only

Popped in for a couple. Has a very 'locals' vibe but the bar maid was friendly and chatty, very dog friendly place and the lager on tap was good 👍🏻

It's not a bad pub and wouldn't of known about it if my cousin hadn't taken me here kind of last place you'd expect a pub. Watched a larger chap come a cropper, after his mates stood up from the outside table leaving him sat on one side....shame looked like a full pint he ended up wearing

Went for a bite to eat but they don't do food so sat in garden with my dog for a while with my drink...but it didn't help my hunger!

Good comfortable pub, brilliant for watching football while the other half looking at the shops.

Nice enough place, friendly staff, good cider choice, but let down by annoying garage music being played constantly, making it difficult to have a conversation, or relax. Had to leave after one drink but would have stayed without the noise. Definitely would not contemplate eating here, no matter what the food was like.

Played bingo there great laugh bar staff superb bingo caller could of been better but Dennis the dab was there to keep order Great little pub.

Friendly pub. Dogs welcome. Comfy seating and nice and warm in there.

My family and I dropped into the Parish, driving through to Cheddar. The pub staff were welcoming and were fantastic with my children. There's a great range of drinks and reasonably priced too. They also have sky sports, which is always an added bonus!

Obviously a local boozer with it's regulars. Nevertheless, easy access and parking clean and effective service and a good selection of whatever you fancy.

Visited for a Christmas Day drink with the family, was a little unsure at first but we'd heard it was under new management, the Facebook photos showed a clean and tidy pub and it had some nice comments. It was great, really glad we tried it, the staff are really friendly and welcoming especially as we walked in as complete strangers. It had a good atmosphere, a great local pub, my stepdad lives across the road and said he'll be a regular! The management are trying really hard to change the past image of the pub, we'll be returning soon to try the food 😉 thanks for a great couple of hours!

Stumbled across this pub in search of technology. They just so happen to be one of the only establishments near the train station with WiFi. Even as an ignorant American tourist, the keeps made me feel like one of their own! Great beer and they graciously helped my mates and me find a place for the night. Would definitely stop in again for the friendly vibes and to enjoy an ale! Cheers!

New management have really changed the atmosphere here. Quiz nights, live music and sports nights. A good new menu with vegetarian alternatives. Excellent place to visit!

Parish pump is a great family pub and the beer is great

This pub is actually owned by my brother but I can see how hard he is at making it work. Good sized pub and very welcoming. Need to have more choices for vegetarians and could do with gluten free and organic beers.

Visited on Sunday with my family and despite the slightly unusual location it is a lovely, comfortable and welcoming pub with tangible friendly feel as soon as you walk in. There are all the pub favourites like a pool table and dart board, plus an outdoor play area. The menu is being revised, however this does not mean the quality of food has been sacrificed. Good home cooked fair, not a 'ping' meal pub. It's location makes it a great place to leave your other half while you go shopping, and a perfect place to recover after you've loaded the car and maxed your credit card! 100% worth the visit!!!

Lovely friendly, welcoming pub with great facilities and great beer. It's location makes it a fabulous 'man crèche' and meant I could shop without the usual huffing and puffing. I wouldn't hesitate to visit again or recommend it to family and friends. They have pool nights and entertainment so something for everyone. The new owners have definitely brought a new dynamic to this lovely little local.

As from today 20/09/17 the Parish is under new management. Joe and Paul are really pulling out the stops to get this pub back to how it used to be. They have already created a very friendly and happy atmosphere. But as we all know Rome wasn't built in a day. Those people in the past that have given the Parish a bad review and sometimes guite deservedly come back and have another look.

The Parish is now under new management. They have created a friendly and welcoming environment for all. Not only for the customers but also for the staff!! There are still issues with the decor and the toilets but they are being looked at!! They have only been here for just over a week, these things take time!! There has already been improvements in the kitchen and an updated menu will be available soon!! But don't worry the favourites will still be available!! If you have had a bad experience before please try again. I am a member of staff here and I strongly feel that the new landlords (Joe and Paul) should be judged on their own merits.

I took my mum for lunch and the lunch was extremely tasty. There was a good choice of meat and fresh vegetables that were cooked lovely (they were not stewed), you also had a choice of the size of your meal. I would definitely go there again so would my mum the staff are friendly and the prices are very reasonable.
