Par Beach Cafe in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

Hemos estado aquí un par de veces, incluso antes de la nueva gestión. Es una gran ubicación, asientos por dentro y por fuera y los perros son bienvenidos también. El menú anterior era mejor, sin embargo, una amplia selección y mejores precios. Para 2 de nosotros el precio que pagamos por el almuerzo podríamos haber conseguido algo por la mitad de eso de Costa café, e incluso más barato la cooperativa local. El personal es muy bueno y amable, la ventilación de la cocina podría ser mejor - olor a grasa cuando sales no es genial! Sin embargo, aparte del buen servicio, la comida no era increíble para justificar el costo ¡PERO sí cartan helado de dor que es malditamente delicioso! ¡Volveré por más de eso!

El personal es amable, la comida está bien, pero muy caro. Una tostada de queso y cebolla costaba £ 9. 75 ! Tienen una audinece cautiva pero se siente bastante malo.

Me alegro de verlo abrir de nuevo el gerente del café max era genial y James que es un nuevo gerente del parque estaba en el lugar. ¡El menú de comida se veía genial!

Precioso café que admite perros. Una joven encantadora haciendo todas las bebidas y helados que siempre estaba sonriendo un crédito para ella. Realmente podría haber hecho con otro miembro del personal, pero ella era excelente. Mientras estaba allí, una anciana muy grosera fue extremadamente grosera con la joven. La jovencita siguió siendo muy educada. La vil anciana dejó la nevera de helados y helados abierta cuando claramente decía por favor cierre después de usarla. Así que lo cerré. Todo fue tan bueno que espera a la anciana grosera que necesita aprender algunos modales.

El servicio era muy lento. ¿Cuánto tiempo se tarda en servir una pizza? Estaba bien cuando llegó, pero estaban tranquilos. ¿También comimos panini de atún y llegamos a la conclusión de que fueron congelados? El relleno era indescriptible. La presentación fue terrible. No se hizo ningún esfuerzo. Todo fue muy complaciente y pobre.

Mientras completábamos una caminata, yo y un grupo de caminantes decidimos venir a la cafetería en lugar de un pub en la calle, y lo decepcionados que estábamos. Había una opción limitada en el menú y el servicio por una chica sola era muy lento (no es su culpa). Pedí el pastel y y una pinta y encontré que todo lo que tenían para ofrecer era cerveza y Guinness. Cuando llegó el pastel de carne cervecera noté que era un pastel procesado, la porción de papas fritas era exigua y soportaba unos guisantes pero había salsa en abundancia. Durante los últimos 3 meses he comido todos los miércoles carne y pastel de cerveza de una variedad de pubs y puedo decir esto con mucho lo peor, aunque me lo comí ya que me moría de hambre. En comparación con el mismo precio he tenido un pastel, el triple del tamaño y que estaba recién hecho en las instalaciones en otro pub de Cornualles, y la cerveza era genial. Nunca, nunca más.

Familia de cuatro personas cenaron el sábado por la noche y todos nos encantó nuestra comida con el servicio de ambos miembros del personal siendo de primera clase; comida y bebida de gran valor también! Cometí un error con una orden de batido y esto se rectificó inmediatamente sin gastos ni molestias, un gesto muy generoso y profesional. Fantástica ubicación junto a la playa con un montón de aparcamiento; un montón de asientos interiores y exteriores. PS ha vuelto a por un helado hoy y los niños han dicho que son "los mejores de la ciudad! " PPS mi hija tiene un accidente en el parque de al lado y el personal era brillante en el suministro de hielo y toallas. ¡Gracias por todo lo que fuiste genial en todos los sentidos!

Buena comida. Excelente servicio. El personal era muy agradable. Indy era nuestro servidor. Nada era demasiado problema. Sin duda volveremos de nuevo X xx

Waited a hour for a luke warm latte. Only 2 staff on & a beautiful day. Felt sorry for them. Also knew people there having food who were disappointed with the quality. Ready made & not appetising at all. Such a shame as could be a little gold mine here. Also take no cash. Won’t be back.

Visited for just a coffee on Sunday 12ish. Was told there would be a wait as they had so many orders. 1 piece of lemon cake in the cake section so didnt bother. Whilst waiting I visited the ladies toilet. The sanitary bin supplied by Initial was completely full and overflowing on to the floor. The floor in the restaurant was very dirty under tables and needed a good sweep. Coffee was good when it arrived but no biscuit accompanied it as is usual. Will go again and hopefully it will have improved.

I had a terrible experience. The food was inedible and had to be returned. The service was absolutely horrendous and clearly requires some training. It was a major disappointment.

Service ok but pretty slow. Wouldn’t replace fried egg with scrambled and substitute other items. No hash brown on the meat eaters breakfast only an option on the vegan. Small breakfast consists of 1 sausage, 1 bacon, fried egg, beans or tinned tomatoes and slice of toast at £6.95 I would have ended up with 1 sausage, 1 bacon, beans and toast - pretty poor. Never been told at a cafe that they were unable to mix an egg up and scramble it on the hot plate. Baffles the mind. Menu also states Belgian Waffles - plural - but what you get is one waffle with about 6 berries on. Wouldn’t return or recommend. Wish I’d gone to one of the garden centres on the way to St Austell.

Popped in after a morning on the beach. Cannot fault the place it was spotless, the service was great, the food was superb and really good value for money. Will certainly be going back on our next trip to Cornwall.

My partner and I went on a Sunday hoping to have lunch here. On ordering our meals (2 fish and chips) we were told there wwere no fish and chips. My second choice was a prawn jacket potato, no prawn jacket potato either! I now had a very limited choice, being intolerant to cheese, so we each ordered a sandwich thing with chicken breast and bacon. Our drinks came after about 10 minutes, not the quickest service seeing as they weren't busy, but they came. After 3/4hr the waitress came out to say that there would be a delay as my meal had come out with cheese on it and had to go back! My partner had clearly stated I couldn't have cheese (hence why the waitress spotted it) and there was NO mention on the menu that it came with cheese. The food, when it eventually came after waiting for an hour, was very ordinary, the chips very over-salted. The one star I have given is for the polite waitress who was obviously trying her best in a very badly run establishment. Other people were waiting for a long time for their food too, so it wasn't just us being overlooked. We won't be going here again.

Found this gem quite by accident today. We’d packed a picnic to take to Par Sands Beach but managed to leave it by the front door! I needed a lunchtime solution and I was so glad to discover the beach cafe. I had three pizzas to take away and all three were exceptional. I really should have taken a photo of the ham and mushroom pizza - I’ve never seen such quality toppings on a pizza before. I was also pleased to note that dogs were welcome inside as well as outside. The ice cream looked good too with a wide variety of flavours (£2 a scoop). We shall definitely return.

This is a new and young enthusiastic team who have only recently taken over. The manager is friendly and eager to help. Had a lovely coffee and panini for brunch. I would urge locals and park residents to support this new venture as it is a pleasant change to have such a lovely bunch of people who want you to enjoy your visit.

The staff here are super friendly and enthusiastic and go out of there way to keep the place going and customers happy. We stayed at the park next to the cafe for a few days and had several hot drinks to take away and a lovely cooked breakfast. All the staff were amazing and really lovely to us :) Would definitely recommend popping in if you are near Par beach ⛱️

Fourth visit, again remarkable. Shout out to Ryan, Frankie, Evie and Sophie. Great customer service. Brilliant food. Coffee is amazing, tastes Italian!! What staff, service and food.. if you. Haven't been, try it!!

Just eaten here for first time, service impeccable, good banter and pizzas amazing. Thankyou to Ryan and Frankie for making the first night of our holiday so enjoyable. See you tomorrow morning for breakfast.

Ok so having been visiting this cafe for many years now and let down so many times by its constant opening and closing staff shortages unreliable hours and poor service we were again surprised on our last visit to find all the old staff had been replaced yet again with a new dynamic team promising better But alas same old thing called to check if they were still doing breakfasts and are open to be told yes of course turned up 20 mins later to be told run out of breakfasts no pressed same old think also witnessed several other people being turned away and were clearly unhappy Never mind I thought maybe just changeover problems and made a note of the new opening times which were open all week Turned up on Tuesday for a bite and yet again found them shut hours had changed and now shut on mon and tues Infuriated yet again I now vow to never go there again ever No wonder this place has such a bad name I have seen so many locals Lea this place and go elsewhere and heard so many bad tales This company could not run a bath between them let alone a cafe everywhere else I go they are always busy this place dead as a dodo Don’t bother going here they will probably be shut anyhow
