I cannot fault my visit to Paprika, it was nice inside, the service was fantastic and the prices very reasonable. The poppadoms and sauces were the best I've ever had and my main meal was also amazing (garlic chicken), would highly recommend and I look forward to returning.

Brilliant curry house close to town. I couldn't face the overly sugary Masala at the Bati King any more so we tried a few others and this has been the best. Really good Masala. Friendly staff and you get to bring your own wine.

My partner & I visited Paprika yesterday evening fir the first time. The food was full of flavour & very delicious. The naan bread was the best I have ever had and the service was fantastic. The manager came over to greet us and was very personable. We will most certainly be returning! Thank you to the chefs and all of the staff, see you again soon!

The meal and the experience was better than average.. food and service was all ok and they were very accommodating. Everyone in my party had a nice time. I have had better Indian food in other places though.

Went last night, with 5 friends & had a very enjoyable evening. The food was delicious & the staff were attentive. We accidentally dropped a bottle of red wine on the floor & the staff cleaned it up without batting an eyelid. A couple of issues with missed items on the order were rectified quickly.

New Management have ruined this place! Missing dish - when we called about it we received a barrage of abuse from the staff! They had no manners and accused us of lying instead of trying to rectify the problem! No dish was sent out. Stay away.

This WAS one of my favorite places to eat until last night. I ordered 2 butter chicken and they were far away from a butter chicken. I will never be ordering again. The food used to be really good and tasty, I have previously had their butter chicken before and it used to be amazing. I don't what happened to this restaurant, only thing I can think of is new management maybe. Very disappointed!

I had heard it was OK but I can't say I was impressed. Nice to see an open kitchen and the interior of the place looks alright.

Doesn't look like much from the outside, but don't let that put you off. The staff are friendly and more than willing to offer suggestions of dishes or make up dishes that aren't on the menu, the food always tastes fresh and delicious, the prices is extremely reasonable and you're able to bring your own booze. What more could you want?!

I have been coming to this restaurant over the last year for a takeaway and I must say I have never had a bad meal, the owners of this restaurant really care about there business and the chefs are amazing to watch in the open kitchen.

The food here was amazing as it had wonderful flavours. My friend and I both had the chicken biryani and lamb jalfazi which was delicious. The restaurant is nice and clean and has a lovely atmosphere. The service was good too.

We've visited this restaurant more times than I can remember as we are in Northampton quite often! The food is delicious, we prefer it quite spicy and children obviously don't so the chef was quite happy to cater to our needs. Lovely clean atmosphere, child friendly and attentive staff, couldn't ask for much more to be honest!

Our usual restaurant was closed for refurbishment and we opted to eat here as had our hearts set on an indian meal. The staff were welcoming and the restaurant is airy and modern with an open kitchen which I always feel lends itself to cleanliness and transparency. Started with onion bhajis which were delicious, not too greasy and just right. The popadoms were served with the usual mango and yoghurt dips but also with a delicious red hot chilli sauce. Mains were a mix of korma, rogan chicken and a house special. The whole meal was delicious and the naan breads were not greasy but just perfect. My Mother who is fussier than me ate her whole meal which I have to be honest, I have not experienced in years. This is better than any food critics approval, let me tell you. Overall good fresh food, tender chicken, great staff in a modern setting. We will defiantly be returning.

Absolutely lovely food. The best food i've tasted- on par with Bradford !!! With a combination of great food and attentive staff you can't go wrong. I come here everytime when I am in Northampton as I know I won't be disappointed. A must try for anyone who loves a good indian! A+++

Our local go-to restaurant. We've been several times (as well as using the take-away service) and have not been disappointed. The service is very friendly and efficient. The food is freshly cooked in an open kitchen. We have sampled a reasonable number of dishes on the menu and have always found them as described and very tasty. They serve an excellent hot tomato dressing with the popadoms. I love the Tarka dahl and the fish dishes have been excellent. It's good value for money and has some slightly more unusual dishes

I tried to phoned up to booked and they soo rude me... Saying I am not interested and then hang down phone... So I called up again told me to go away! Is that how you talk to customers! How pathetic service! I read other people comments and find out service are soo rude everyone!

Booked via email as I had a Groupon deal that I wanted to use up, always love to find a good new curry house so thought we'd give it a go. Received a conformation email for the next day, so far so good.

Four of us visited for first time last Saturday night. we had amazing food especially the bengal flame chicken!

Was very good before when it was Zam Zam but unfortunately it's gone to the dogs. A chicken madras, chicken balti, chicken jalfrezi or whatever you order is the same. This was my favourite place to eat in Northampton but I won't eat there anymore. Such a shame the standards have dropped from sky high to rock bottom

This place is well and truly one of the best in town. I have been to Paprika numerous times and each time it just gets better and better. The food is tasty and the quantity is more than sufficient. The staff is also very friendly and patient at all times. Overall a great place to eat out with friends and family. Moreover, you can take your own alcohol/mixers! Also, Paprika has the best lamb chops!

A good curry house with a wide variety of dishes available. The food is very tasty and is very reasonably priced. I recommend the lamb Jalfrezi and chilli rice. Service is very good and the staff are friendly. There is the option to take your own alcohol in, which makes it even cheaper. I've also had food to takeaway and that is of very good quality too.

This restaurant was fab when it first opened and I used it regularly. Over the last six months I've noticed a steady deterioration in the quality of food and in customer care. In the restaurant itself, incorrect dishes have been served up (including meat dishes to someone who has ordered vegetarian food - unforgivable). With the take away/delivery food, the quality has been variable - some dishes have lacked taste, and we've had stale poppodums and undercooked onion bhajis.

We tried to book a table over the phone. After finding out that we had an offer through Groupon, there was suddenly no tables available the whole night.

Really nice food. Clean place. Nice staff. Bit daunted about where to park initially, but was fine. Parked at the racecourse. Ordered the biriyani and lamb curry. Was cooked nicely. Will be going back.

So my wife & 3 children visited this restaurant today to be greeted with an unwelcome attitude, as it's open plan kitchen and the 3 chefs were cleaning, we was told just sit wherever you like. The place was empty so we took a seat under the air conditioner as it's pretty cold outside and inside wasn't much better. They advertise Sunday lunch with children under 11 only £5. So after 5 mins waiting we ask for a menu to be snarled at your children will be charged full price, this shocked me and I asked about the advertised price but was just grumbled at with no actual explanation as to why we would be charged full price. My children are aged 8, 7 & 3 so as you can imagine they are hardly going to eat them dry. The mans attitude was abrupt and rude at which point my wife and children got up and walked out. I must have asked this rude chap 10 times his justification however he had no actual response just "full price" there were other waiters there that said it's ok just sit and don't worry but after this mans rudeness all appetite was lost. Strongly recommend that this place is avoided and will also report to local trading standards as they are miss leading

We had dinner on a Saturday evening with the benefit of a Groupon voucher. Nevertheless we were not made to feel like second class citizens. The service was polite, professional and smiley from our arrival to departure.

I collected a takeaway for dinner a few days ago on a friends recommendation ,it was only OK I was hoping for better .

Worst meal me and my wife have ever had the misfortune of tasting.From the faulty towers service (all but 1 member of staff) to the hovel of an area/astablishment.Was booked through groupon as a birthday meal couldn't be more shocked on arriving IT'S A KEBAB HOUSE.With some awfull tacky,cheap decor with dirty seats & tables which can only be described as in the style of an American diner.Food was undercooked and the portion sizes were only enough for children.We are not big eaters nor are we from an affluent area but if you can't serve value for money meals in a KEBAB HOUSE No surprise the place was empty (always a bad sign)Should scrap the diner and focus on being an average kebab/chip shop.

I am now a regular customer (often through its delivery service) at Paprika. The food is superb, the restaurant is clean and the service really is second to none. I recommend this establishment, it is first class. Lee

Disgusting customer service. My husband and I had a meal booked which someone obviously didn't write in appointments and they turned us away on a Sunday afternoon, hardly anyone in there . It was with groupon and when he realised that he lost interest in looking to help and basically told us to go !! Can't believe it !! Poor

A Groupon voucher tempted us and we are glad it did! We received a warm, friendly welcome and help with choosing our dishes.

Well where do I start the food was absolutely lovely full of flavour staff very friendly and polite as I was sitting down I could see the chef cooking as paprika have a open kitchen I recommend this indian restaurant to anyone thats looking for a beautiful indian meal thank you very much paprika and see you Friday

Stayed over in Northampton while visiting a friend and we took a punt on this modern, clean looking establishment, which neither of us had tried before. Liked the open front of house cooking arrangement and couldn’t fault the food. A more than generous helping for my vegetable biryani and Bombay potato, which would have fed two. My associate with eyes bigger than his stomach had to help me out. Certainly tasty and noticeably cheaper than what I’m used to paying in London. Friendly, attentive staff and I fancy that we’ll be returning at some point in the future. It would take something very special indeed for 5 stars but this place comes pretty close.

Me and my partner fancied some Indian Cuisine and we called to order at 20:13 pm. The guy over the phone said the food will reach us in 45 mins and we live exactly 4 mins by car from the restaurant. We ordered Shawarma and Veg Briyani as main. So we called back at 9 pm to inquire about the delivery and the guy already knows that it was my partner calling and he said that the driver has not returned to the restaurant yet for our delivery so he must reach us in 5-10 mins. So they already know that they were late in delivering our food. So we waited and we got our food around 21: 20 pm. We expressed our disappointment nicely to the driver but he was so rude and he said no it is not his fault as we ordered at 20:18 pm so it's ok for us to wait for one hour different from what we were told earlier on. He was trying his best to justify himself and he had a very bad attitude whereas a simple sorry/ apology would have been accepted as if that would have taken long we would have ordered something else and he said the food at the paprika restaurant is not fast food but different ..lol we have been eating out for long and we know the difference between eating out and ordering food that is why we chose Paprika as it was the closest to our place. We then called the restaurant to say that we got the food but the driver is rude but the guy lied and he said he got the order on the receipt at 20:20 pm...when we called at 20:13 pm. So the next guy I would speak to will say that our order was placed at 20:22 pm? This would be our last order from that restaurant as they are not very nice people working but just people who lie to the customers. We are paying for the service and they are not doing any charity or favour and we expect to be treated in a fair manner. It is like we are begging for them to bring our food. Would not recommend it to no one as it is not worth it. Sorry

There are many Indian restaurants in Northampton and I have frequented a lot of them. I can honestly say that Paprika stands head and shoulders above any of their rivals. There are no frills with the style of the restaurant itself, all the focus has gone into delivering a great meal. The food is cooked from fresh in their open plan kitchen which is there for all to see. There is no hiding place! Not only is the food excellent but so are the staff. Very hospitable and nothing seems too much trouble. Have already been there a few times and will be back again soon.

Amazing meal, outstanding value for money. there was not one aspect of the meal we could fault. attentive staff. all in all a great night.

While in the UK for 6 months we try to visit at least every other week. The other 6 months are in India. Food service quality and value the best.

Have been searching for a really good Indian restaurant for a long time and thought they had all disappeared. Best Indian meal for years at Paprika this evening.

At an event nearby and fancied a quick snack- I had Chicken tikka wrap and my son had chicken poppers and chips. Both were very tasty and very resonably priced. Would like to visit again for a full meal to eat in

The restaurant is well set out with an open kitchen and a friendly service, food was of a very high standard and quality excellent choice of food would highly recommend and will definitely return

This restaurant was previously named Zam Zam Grill - Zam Zam is holy river in Mecca and the owners appear to have disassociated the name with religious connotations and renamed it as Papkrica - Now you are allowed to bring in your own alcohol.

A real hidden gem, food is all cooked fresh to order by specialist chefs who really seem to know what they are doing. We visit here often and also get a regular takeaways. Whether you eat in or take out it is always exceptional. Owners are very friendly and accomodating and although they don't have a drinks licence they allow you the bring your own alcohol.

Me and my friends tried this place for dinner and the food was okay - nothing special. Some of the food did lack a little spice, we ordered lamb chops as a starter and it was very very chewy (that was the only downside). I ordered a chicken fillet burger with masala chips and the chips were lovely! The chicken burger was a little dry. The service overall was great, waiters were really attentive and made sure we had all our food and didn't have any issues with it.

I visited here with my young son (6) & Family to celebrate my father in laws birthday.

5 of us went here on a Friday early evening which include myself, wife, 6 year old son & my parents and was my dads's 72nd birthday. We have had a previous delivery order from Paprika and thought we would try eating in as it was a special occasion and we wasn't disappointed. The staff were very friendly and the food was lovely. Me and my wife even shared a mixed starter. My son had fish fingers and chips and for the price was a fantastic portion so great for families to go as well, and the added big benefit of being able to take your own alcohol. Will definitely return but also looking forward to having another delivery order next time we want indian food one Saturday evening.

Food was brilliant and just beyond what I expected. Very well cooked and rich in taste. Staff are very polite, helpful and cheering. Seats are comfortable and very clean

Went for the Sunday buffet and was surprised by the choice of the menu.
