Imbli started very unusual story n different. Why similarities with Apna time b ayega. Both girls from village n repeated scenes too. Why same writer?

Second visit to this restaurant. Once again meal was lovely. Staff are very pleasant and attentive. good value.

Great curry house but slightly on the price side

I felt the food didn't have much taste this time.

We were quoted an hour and 14 minutes and it took 2 hours 10 to get to us. And then when we received it the food was freezing cold. It tasted ok but after recieving it late we then had to reheat it which kind of lost the point of ordering food in 😕

same old same old!! we are busy and sorry that it has taken 2.25 mins to get you your food, not hot either, this is now the second time it’s happened, tried them again as manager reassured us last time when he ended up delivering it to us. go in and eat by all means but never order for delivery

Tandoori chicken biryani - tasted like masala rice not recommended, matar paneer, tarka daal - good, Tandoori chicken starter - good, mix - veg not recommended at all

Food was not fresh onion bhagi was soggy with grease,no flavour in biryani and mix grill was 4 bits of soggy greasy meat for 10! Ate in restaurant was nice but wouldn’t recommend takeaway

Delivery times have been getting worse with recent orders with the most recent being around 30mins late meaning the curries weren’t as hot as usual. On a weekend I could understand but a Monday night? The restaurant was also out of paneer meaning they had to contact us so we could choose a different option. Seeing as Paneer is readily available in major supermarkets we were really disappointed they didn’t go and get some and just let us know it’d be a bit longer.

Chicken tikka masala was cold, watery and flavourless and the chicken was chewy and definitely didn’t taste fresh! Rohan Josh was also watery and bland and had no spice to it at all. The nan bread was stone cold and the chips were cold, hard and soggy. We collected our order and it took 10 minutes for us to get it home so it shouldn’t of been cold that quickly. Restaurant were quite unhelpful when we phoned to complain and said we would need to drive back there to get a new one. We will not be ordering from here again!

Looking for a curry on a Sunday lunchtime we recalled seeing the sandwich board outside the Imli Lounge advertising their Buffet so gave it go. When we arrived only one table of diners were present and our drinks order was quickly taken. A starter of Onion Bargee and Pakora was brought to the table and we were invited to help ourselves to the buffet. The choice was reasonable with pompadums, chutney, salad and chicken tikka to start along with a chicken curry, vegetable curry, tikka masala, bombay potato, naan breads and pilau rice. The trays were not full and were being replenished so the food was freshly prepared and tasted nice. In summery at £9 pp + drinks its good value for whats on offer and although they add a 10% service charge its still worth the money. We will visit again however next time we will order from the main menu as we prefer different dishes to those on offer.

The meals were the usual high quality but unfortunately the naans were cold.

rude staff, poor service, this place has changed for the worse.?. strange smell in there.. smelt like drains... i was a regular, loved the Sunday buffet with family.. but not going back... that's a shame..because good value for money... p.s. don't use facebook to contact owner, it goes straight through to an employed incompetent waiter....!

Great food, large order arrived when it said.

The good - nice flavours with fresh ingredients and chicken tender. Nice sized naans. Arrived on time. The bad - ordered onion bhajee (3items) but got 2. One of the takeaway container lids had not been secured so lost some of the sauce from one of the curries into the bag.

We ordered a take away and were so impressed. The food was fantastic and the vegan options were brilliant. They made sure to send an extra vegan dish to replace the naan she couldn't eat and kept her food separate from our meaty feast. All dishes were tasty. Great take away that we will use from now on.

Ordered at 6:25pm, ETA 7:35 but arrived at 7pm. Lovely food, will definitely be ordering again from here.

Excellent food delivered quickly. I could not have been more impressed by how they catered for a vegan in our group. Great food and great service. We will definitely eat from here again.

Excellent food every time we order. The fish bhuna is fantastic. The only downside is they don’t do the crab dishes that are on their menu :(

asked for my food madras hot but my request was clearly misssed , very bland and disappointing as its normally great ........fingers crossed next time which is not how I like to get my food

Lovely meal last Saturday evening with friends.Very good food (esp the duck) and very entertaining waiter!

Went for a early meal about 6ish with the wife as was told it was excellent food, Was not diapointed superb all staff very polite so could not fault. Will sure be coming back. One very slight niggle please loose the forks the handles at right angles to the blade only a personal thing..

Very disappointing. Waited 1 hour 20 minutes to receive half a tray full of tasteless and lukewarm curry. Samosas tasteless too. I have previously had a decent curry from here but won’t be using again unfortunately. Still hungry!

Food arrived warm, however we ordered Three Pilau Rice and only received two. We live 2 mins from the restaurant so didnt expect the food to take the time it took to arrive, we didn't want to call and ask for another as the food would have gone cold! we made do with what we had. We wouldn't order again though

Me and partner were craving a curry tonight and so decided on imli lounge based on his mums recommendation. The place lived up to her review. The food was tasty and really hot the spot. We had onion bhaji’s to start and korma and tikka masala for mains.

the tandoori chicken biryani has no taste at all and chicken begum bahaar {chicken} is not good at all ...smells come from chicken....

The food was luke warm/nearly cold. swimming in grease will not be getting anymore food, nearly all of it went in the bin would not even give it to my dogs

The food was delivered an hour early. The delivery driver wasn’t interested in resolving this. However, once Just Eat got involved, the restaurant offered to redeliver at the correct time and collect the old one. Unfortunately there was a rice missing on the second delivery but the food we received was first class - delicious!

Impromtu meal out, with daughter and family we where a little aprehensive as it was our first meal out with our grandson! the welcome was great and 4.5 people seated! they where very good with my grandson the food and service was excellent.

Food was fine, but arrived 40 minutes late.

Food was almost 30 minutes late. When arrived chips were cold and very soggy so went in the bin. Came with dips for popadoms but no popadoms. Spent 25 pound so would pressume popadoms came for free like every other place but none came. Wa disappointed as ordered from here alot and normally nice but this let it down do will probably order from somewhere else next time.

As we were being seated I told the waitor I had a Tastecard which according to their website was 2 meals for 1 for up to 6 people (there were four of us).I was told that the tastecard was only valid for two people When I pointed out that the website stated it was for up to six people the waitor said that it had changed but the website had not changed yet!!!! As it was a planned night out we stayed there otherwise we may have left. The food was only average as was the service considering there were only four other people in there. The Management need to sort the website out because it is giving false information regarding the Tastecard.It was our first visit there and it will be our last.

Tries imli lounge as my regular Indian takeaway/restaurant was to far after I moved.so far every thing we have had has been delicious. Have tried the Sunday buffet which is reasonably priced and all you can eat from the set dishes.really nice atmosphere and helpful staff.if you do go in a Sunday can be busy at times but quieted down around 13.30 -14.00 ish.has now become my new regular and not dissapointed at all.

After being stranded in a city that we were unfamiliar with the staff went out of there way to help us find a safe way back to our hotel. The food was delicious!! Bonus!!

Food was meant to be with us by 21.20. Rang at 21.31 and spoke to a really panicked guy. Said it would be another 10 minutes. Food eventually arrived at 21.54. Delivery driver was half heartedly apologetic. Checked to see if food was hot, but as this was a birthday treat and it was now approaching 10pm kept food, served it up. Mostly cold. Today we've all had upset stomachs. Manager should be ringing me at 5.30 this evening as he wasn't about last night. Food wasn't even nice. Extremely bland. Frozen veg in vegetable curry, overcooked rice and really stodgy, greasy onion bahgees. Very disappointed. I will await a call from the manager.

Was really looking forward to the lamb chops. 2 of us had them and we both thought that they were really tough and chewy. Sorry the staff said!! The main was ok. Bill came with after eight type chocolates. They were inedible. Very old and the chocolate had gone whitish. Sorry they said! Nothing off the bill. There are much better places to go. You can’t beat the Lasaan at Whitehills

Barca very good banquet on Wednesday night for 4 people. We all loved what we got Think only one chef on as we waited 30/45 minutes for meal. But was very good And all of usecwill go back

Not that impressed, overly red tikka, over sweet, a strange yellow mint sauce. It’s all gone in the bin, should have not bothered, was looking forward to a takeaway as don’t have them very often and now I this has put me off having one ever again.

Friendly and efficient service of delicious food!

Food was great except not all items delivered and then asked, after several minutes of I'm assuming checking we weren't lying, after we'd paid for delivery, if we'd come and get them, 45 minutes after this finally got full delivery, shame as the food was good but won't use again

First time we have ordered but won’t be the last. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Definitely recommend this place to all our family and friends.

Great food, really good BUT... why oh why is it seemingly impossible to get a complete takeaway order delivered in Northampton??? Seriously... how do you forget a dish that is clearly stated on the order list... All local takeaway places in this town seem to manage this basic error. Sort it out people.

We have eaten at this restaurant for a while now, usually on a Saturday evening, and it has become our 'go to' Indian restaurant. The food is always good, the staff friendly and courteous and the restaurant itself is clean and modern.We have also used the takeaway service and the food has always been tothe same high standard as that served in the restaurant, delivered promptly and free of charge.

Not much taste. Got 3 sauses in tubs and a little salad. Not sure why as there was no popadoms. Couldn't find rice on the menu to order. Sorry but won't use again

I usually have a great experience when I dine in! however the last time I had a takeaway delivered it took ages to come and had the wrong curry in the bag. I thought I’d put it down to a mistake and reordered again tonight again it took an age to come and the starters were cold and the young lad who delivered was pleasant enough but for the money I’d expect it to have been much better!

We came here on a Wednesday - banquet night. Very good value - £10.95 for a starter,main,rice or naan and a shared side dish. All the food we had was delicious. Service was a little slow including getting the bill hence the 4 stars.
