Paprika in Allerdale

Just ordered. Very disappointing. Sorry to say that the food was very tasteless. No spice. Just bland on all off our curry's. Will not be recommended or ordering again.

Very tasty! We had a Lamb & a Chicken Pathia from here last night. It was very enjoyable, nicely spiced. The lamb was fall apart succulent in mine, the Mrs enjoyed her chicken too. Only down side was the garlic naan bread was overdone, hence the 4 star instead of 5. Will definitely be back though, saves a trip to Matyport harbour, about £5 cheaper per curry too!

Food arrived quick but the madras was watery and tasteless. Phoned and complained. They sent me a jalfrezi replacement it was better but again watery. Must of been a bad night as the last Jalfrezi I got was really nice :-(

Not impressed. Hard lumps of chicken covered in sauce. Didnt give the impression it was cooked korma , just chicken covered in sauce. Looked more like soup

We bought the set meal for two and had plenty of food with a good mix of dishes. Delivery was fast and friendly.

Potato Aloo Bread was completely raw right through and small portion of rice...1 poppadom for 50p with a whole tub of chutney.....no idea whats going on in there but...I won't be eating from there again!

First time order tonight, food was delivered on time and was delicious great quality ingredients very tasty will be ordering again 👌

We have ordered from Paprika for the last few years and it’s always been good and tasty. However tonight’s order was a shock! Korma sauce very watery and bland, chicken was extremely dry and the poppadoms tasted strange! Sadly I won’t be ordering from Paprika again 😕

I ordered to the wrong address and I called over 40 mins later and they corrected my mistake with no problems!!brill service

Items took a while and were cold upon arrival. Was also missing some of the order. Had to ring again to chase missing items.

Nothing special, delivery cost too high given that shop is in Workington. Not buying from here again

This is the best Indian takeaway in Workington that I've had in ages. I ordered Buhna, rice, and chicken tikka starter. Quality was good. Sauce in the curry was very good. Will order again. We'll done Paprika

not up to the usual standards tasted different not sweet or creamy as usual (chicken tikka massala) and the jalfrezi looked and tasted different not the same as I've had off them before

Took a long time to deliver and was luke warm on arrival. Bhajis were hard and inedible. Naan and curry tasted lovely just not very warm.

The order got lost in the restaurant but the staff quickly replaced it and added extras in to make up for the wait, would highly recommend

A little spicier than usual and the poppadoms were a little stale but they're always good. Just this time it was slightly lacking

Gorgeous food! Paprika special starter! Delicious! Chicken tikka Biriani! Delicious! Paprika special curry! Delicious! Would definitely recommend. The portion sizes were very large, 2 curries enough for two!

We ordered the set meal for four and found it to be really tasty, authentic and excellent value for money. The chicken & lamb was tender and the sauces had authentic spices and vegetables.

Just had a delivery of a meal (arrived on time!). I ordered the salmon tikka which is not on the published menu but they made it for me. It is divine! Still have a lamb balti, rice, bahji and rice to go but I'm so impressed! Well done paprika.

Real shame they left 2 things out of my order. No Biryani sauce and no Saag Aloo. Tried calling through link given on Foodhub and they said no record of my order. Not wasting time chasing as ready to sit down and eat. Disappointing service.

Delivery driver was extremely rude, called once and claimed to have called multiple times, almost threw the food at my sister and ran off. Very intimidating and scary. Not a good representation of the restaurant because Paprika is amazing but driver was terrible.

Informed restaurant I'd be unable to collect. They declined to cancel due to the food "already being ready". Was supposed to collect it at 9pm but got a text at 10:30pm saying it was ready to collect. Moreover, the order was marked as collected when it never was. Completely unsatisfactory.

Food was warm, delivery was late even after an hour delivery slot, delivery driver wiped his nose on a grubby tissue before getting bag out of his car to hand to me

Paprika is our go-to Indian. Staff are always courteous. The food is very tasty, the portions are more than adequate and the prices competitive.

ordered salad and 2 sauces which didn't arrive. phoned to tell them, they were very impolite, said salad and sauce in wrap ( always separate when I've had before) and put phone down !!way too dry to eat the rice without the sauce so a complete waste of 15 quid .At least the delivery driver was nice unlike the food I couldn't eat

I often get this meal deal and enjoy the food. Delivery is often bang on time from my experience too. However, last night’s meal was not to par with the onion bhaji’s leaking oil everywhere and with a foul taste that meant I couldn’t eat anything. The curry itself was ok but also not as good as usual, which sucks as I usually really enjoy their curries. I hope they improve as I have had good orders from them in the past, but I won’t be ordering from them in a hurry after this experience.

Tray was heaped with cream- had to drain most of it off as it had spilt over inside of bag and the raita tasted like spicy cottage cheese. Normally love foor from here but this time i was not impressed

Never in my life been to an indian that serve french fries.. sorry, rock hard and cold french fries! When i opened the bag i thought it was an actual joke! Tikka was bland and garlic naan was stale. Rotten a pot noodle would of been more substantial- right in the bin.

Second time I ordered from this place. Food arrived 30 minutes late (only 5 minutes from the place). Stone cold and the tandooric chicken was anorexic. No meat on it what's so eever for £10.50 proper robbed. Won't be bothering with this place again !!!,. Total order was £30 quid and was not worth the money !!!.

I don't even know where to start... tarka Dahl was like water and had no taste. Keema nan had no keema inside, the curries we ordered were shocking. One was tasteless, the other too hot to eat. We love our Indians. This isn't a good one. Avoid. We spent £35 on this abomination when a supermarket curry would have been 50 times tastier. The poppadoms were nice though 😶
