Second time of using this provider , despite leaving a poor review last time . So , to counterbalance my last review and AVOID the hot spiciness with chilli in some of their dishes , i selected dishes with no chili mentioned. ALL WAS GOING GREAT UNTIL i started to eat my main course with special fried rice. The rice looked nice and i could see the red peppers in it . HOWEVER, whilst eating , they were not red peppers, they were chilis ! Who on earth puts chilis in to special fried rice? LOADS of it. After just one mouthful , had to throw the entire main course in to the bin. This restaurant is obsessed with chilis ! If you are going to put heat and chilis in to ANYTHING , please mark this clearly in your menus. Thank You

First time ordering from here. It was all very nice.

Poorly on their service time to schedule plus navigation ruined my evening relying with them when I could of had egg on toast happy bunny

Overall , good quality food and flavoursome. HOWEVER it was too spicy hot (chilli type hot), for me. i dont expect Indian food to be spicy hot at all. It might have even been the lamb filled bread (keema nan) that had the chilli in it and not the dishes ? i could not tell. i could not place the hot dishes, as my mouth was too hot to savour individual dishes.

Very lovely food, but don’t get tricked into the mixed platter starter. We only received a few small pieces of chicken tikka and kebab. We did not receive samosa or bhaji. I hope this was a one off mishap, but we didn’t receive compensation.. otherwise good food!

The lamb curry was good but the vegetables that came with it wasn’t very nice.

Even after multiple enquiries into the delivery it was still over two hours late. The service here has been good before but this was outrageous, food was warm but not hot and not as good as usual too. Will be asking for at least a partial refund

Food was nice, except the potatoes were a bit undercooked. As usual the estimated delivery time was over an hour AND they were late.

food was ordered at 18:50 food was delivered at 20:40. the time was delayed, after the delayed time passed I called the restaurant they said my "hot" food was in a car and on the way. They were very apologetic about the delay. Food arrived and it was lukewarm at best I had to reheat everything in the microwave. I wouldn't order from them again.

Order placed at 5, with an estimated delivery of 5:45. Food was delivered to the WRONG house at 6:48! Replacement was agreed at 7:04 after talking on the phone. It's now 9:01pm, still waiting....

Never received, restaurant promised a refund but didnt get it

Got the 15.99 meal deal, everything was great. No criticism, everything was very tasty Big big plus was the lack of huge coriander leaves floating around in everything (I hate it when resteraunt do that!)

Other than the delay in delivering, the food was good.

ordered Keralan Salmon and the curry delivered was 100% not with Salmon though the curry was ok!! disappointed.

One hour and 15 minutes late... Lukewarm obviously at that time. No answer from the restaurant telephone number. Complained to Just Eat who were great. Sadly this restaurant cannot cope with the orders and are understaffed. Great as long as you order about three hours in advance! Otherwise not so good...

Would have given Zero stars if at all possible. Late, Cold, Bland. I was given an estimated time of arrival of 2:30, it arrived at 3:15. I tried calling the restaurant four times, each time being told it was no more than a few minutes away, and that they’d call me back immediately once they’d spoken to their driver - they never did, I had to call back myself, each time to hear more excuses. When the driver did eventually turn up, he was unapologetic, even as it became clear the food was now barely above room temperature at best - which he tried to dispute “it’s not completely cold” As I complained to him, he tried to tell me it was JustEat’s fault - despite the fact I had spoken directly with the restaurant several times, and the food was cold. Will certainly not be ordering from this restaurant again, and would advise others to avoid!!!

6 dry, overcooked pieces of chicken, in a bland, wet and textureless sauce, with further wet rice. Never again.

only place that make a tikka masala how I like that I’ve tried, but always having to wait 2 hours to get the food! going to have to start trying new places again

Food was good but arrived 1 hour later than what expected. Besides, they said on the app that they had delivered it on time, so that added a mystery element to the whole ordeal. Finally, the food did arrive and was delivered as I opened the door and found the driver getting ready to leave my food at the threshold of my flat.

The furry was rather bland and the pappadons obviously came out of a packet.

The tandoori prawns were over cooked and there was more onion than prawn. for a main dish that was VERY disappointing. Garlic nan, lacked any colour... I won’t be ordering from this restaurant. quality of food isn’t worth the price.

The poppadoms were Stale. But everything else was really nice

Upon placing the order, initially said order would be delivered for 14:25, then got a text to state delayed by 20 mins. called the restaurant and said would be any minute but food was delivered at 15:15. Food arrived cold. The naan bread container something solid metallic particle that got stuck in my teeth and I had to spit it out. Overall really poor experience. On top of not delivering food on time, they didn’t take care in preparing and delivering it. Will never order again.

I didn't get my requested food. I was promised a refund from just eat staff and didn't receive anything, I'm thoroughly disgusted and will be pursuing action for a refund.

The food is so amazing. simply delicious. but make the order like 2 hours before you actually get hungry otherwise you might die of starvation waiting for the food to arrive.

Food was lukewarm. Masala sauce was VERY spicy - couldn't enjoy my meal which is a shame because it's usually good.

I ordered parara and it’s not cooked, Lamb curry I just put in bin.

Our food is 3 hours late and still hasn’t turned up.

i was not happy that my food was late & the customer service was very bad

and they charged £37 for a bottle of rum that they bought for £14.49 because it had the price on it over 100% profit and 1 hr late terrible

Hangry (adj) - a mix of 'hungry' and 'angry'. A state of rage induced by hunger. Over an hour and a half late - stone cold. Absolutely livid. Good job I didn't have to be anywhere today.

Food is quite nice especially the sag paneer and chef special rice. Please add more meat to your curry portions. And actually add cubes of lamb to the tikka masala rather than kebab style lamb. As it was a nightmare to cut huge slabs of lamb. Everything else was really good

Ok I have to first start with the amazing service the gent I spoke to the phone is so lovely. IM from up north and I was hesistant where to order and when the food arrived it looked quality and tasted amazing. also their chicken tikka does not look artificial like many other Indians everything is authentic! And rich in flavour. If am ever back in London again I will order again. I reccomend the chicken tikka and lamb curry! So tasty!! Value for money!

Missing rice and chutney, and bread was cold. Great food otherwise, sad not to have filled our high hopes!

The food is always excellent but the wait tends to be long. This time we waited 2 hours, although the app had said 50 minutes. When the food was due, the restaurant called and said the food would be there in 15 minutes, but it was more than another hour and involved me calling again. They have promised us a partial refund but this was still a bit extreme for a Tuesday night, which shouldn't really be that busy. Or if it was, they shouldn't have accepted our order.

Food is good. Just annoying that the delivery guy didn't deliver to my front door I had to go down to the car park to get my food.

The team failed to let me know that my order would be late. I had to call twice. However the chap I spoke to was helpful and provided 15% off my bill for the inconvenience so I guess that made up for my food being an hour late and cold 🙄

I have been ordering from Pappadom for many years now and needless to say the food is very tasty and most importantly authentic! The quality of food is the best I've eaten from the local takeaways and portion sizes are generous. The delivery guys are lovely and always arrive within the time quoted. Customer service is great here, above an beyond what you would expect. This is the only curry house I will be ordering from now and in future!
