Large portion barely served 1 person. Chips stale and overcooked. McCane are much nicer and way way better value. 4 meals ordered... Had to cook extra...so much for a cheap night off....could have had a meal deal for 4 with wine x 2.

We use Papas occasionally as the food is okay for the price. A few weeks ago we were given a £5 voucher which could be redeemed between Sunday and Thursday on orders over £12. Tonight I decided to use it. However the delivery man refused to accept it as our order didn't include a pudding. No mention of this on the voucher. Papa's puddings are overpriced and vile so the vouchers are going in the bin. Sorry Papas. We won't be ordering from you again.

We decided to try papas for the first time this evening and we ordered there mixed kebab and on arrival could see that all the meats had been overcooked the kofta was charred black as were all the other meats except donner meat. the meat was so overcooked it was dry and hard to eat so disappointed i would not entertain going here again if thats what there knocking out.

The best take away around. Very professional and tasty food! 1000% recommended to all. I had the 2 piece value box with nachos!

We order the milkshakes on a regular basis, we love them never had any complaints and we always come back for more. Tonight we ordered 3 milkshakes and an ice cream sundae and on the way back to the car I dropped one of the shakes splitting the cup, to save it leaking I went and asked for a spare cup, only for the boys to offer to replace my shake completely even though it was my fault! So lovely x

Nice food but not worth the hassle, gave them the benefit of the doubt but after messing us about 3 times now it clearly wasn’t a one off. Poor customer service, not very helpful even delivery man told me to complain!

Ordered our food, it took two hours to come.. our pizza was cold the burgers had no cheese on and one of our milkshakes had hardly any chocolate in, I understand they might of been busy but you want good food for your money

When we order from papas which is most the time we get a takeaway they always come through with great food and service. never had any issues and always reliable

Back again whilst visiting freinds in Alsager, first night ritual has to be a chicken kebab was dreaming about it on the plane, will be back when we are back in Alsager, well done team.

Papa's fast food is hands down the best take away this side of the UK. We have been ordering there once if not twice a week and they never disappoint. My personal favourite is the house special cheesy'o burger, simply insane, the Nuggets are perfection, and the shakes !!!!!!!!!! We get it delivered in Audley and always get it within the hour.Honestly not worth going anywhere else, but don't just take my word for it ;)

The atmosphere is dirty and gassy but the food is quick, reasonably pricable and the values okay. Not many parking spaces still.

What has happened to this place? It was our favourite takeaway. Now the worst. Greasy food, poor quality ingredients. We won’t be using again after 10 years custom. Food is awful. No curries now. Pizza awful. Base not cooked. What’s with the big green pickled chillies? Yuk. Poor presentation - it’s just thrown together. Tried three times to give benefit of the doubt. Not again.

Ordered milkshakes and cookie dough. Arrived within the hour and it was all really good. Daughter can’t find milkshakes as good as these in Leeds. Will definitely use again.

Every time a restaurant lets us down papas is there to give quality service and tasty food . Fast reliable and very well priced.

Had my normal chicken kebab whilst visiting friends in Alsager, daughter bit upset they don't do curry dishes anymore but all good as normal.

A massive shout out to papas tonight. Ordered many of there new deserts and I must say everyone was amazing as food from there always is. This place has served me many years of great service and lovely food. So once again thanks papas.

We went to order today and I can't believe they don't do curries anymore. This was all we ordered from here as they were lovely and good value. we won't be using this place anymore now. Such a shame.

Had 2 take aways whilst visiting friends, always love their chicken kebab's, will be back when we are in Alsager.

When in the area visiting friends always like a chicken kebab from here i just love them, phoned the order in and collected 20 minutes later, piping hot, will be back next time were back in Alsager.

used papas for 19yrs but very poor tonight,tasted like a curry out of a jar not traditional at all,rice wasnt cooked enough as it was hard?

Popa’s fast food ... ordered online waited about 1 hour and 20 minutes called them up they apologised and said it would be with us in 5 minutes.. 30 mins later called them again ... another apology and was told it would be a further 5 mins ..25 minutes later called them again and was told another 25 minutes .. what can I say terrible service

Used to be very good in 2002/3/4 but I haven’t used it barely at all recently. Thought I’d try it again. I had a shish kofteh kebab in nan bread. The shish kofteh was very tasty and tender to eat. Ive has a lot lot worse and not much better. The nan bread was disappointing - it was undercooked and floppy. They used to do it crispy and bubbly and crunchy here. I would go back. The pizzas looked nice but I didn’t order one.

We have given this place 5 benefits of doubt and each time the food more disgusting than the last. The curries are the worst and most bland I have EVER tasted, the kebabs horrible, just nasty bland inedible food. Just all round slop

Everywhere else I have tried does not come close to the burgers I have from papas. Always very good, juicy burgers and best chips. Love it! And very cheap, always a bonus.

Papa's is our nearest takeaway and has been going for over 15years. Is it the best Pizza place, no, is the best curry house no, is it the best kebab house no. However for the value and the fact you can get all under one roof means a great customer experience. It is extremely busy so do order if you can - they have their own app.... and if you are waiting why not bob the Lodge next door for a pint :-)

Look, I get that it has been made illegal to put card charges on orders in the last few weeks, but a service charge for all orders?! If you don't know what I'm talking about, Papa's has now implemented a 40p service charge to all orders (at least they have for online orders, one of the main reasons I've used them in the past), whether it be collection or delivery - surely service charges are for additional service, above actually just making the food and giving it to you. This step seems greedy from my perspective and despite me generally appreciation for the standard of food that Papa's has provided in the last few years. I feel that this recent decision to charge 40p on all orders on top of delivery etc. reeks of complacency on Papa's part - very disappointing.

Had a take away delivered, it arrived on time, was hot & all correct, food was very nice, everyone enjoyed, nice salad not soggy, good quality meat too, will order again.

We've been ordering from Papas for 12 years and we've never had a bad takeaway. We've had pizzas, kebabs, chicken and chips and it's always been delicious.

,I remember when the food from Papas was excellent as we were regular customers,but i am afraid whoever is behind the the food needs to go back to skool and lern 2 coook we will not be back.

Visited many times in 3 years and always been good. Pizzas and curry's are decent, tillage ma'am kebab is big and good value.

Had a variety of food over the past few years and would recommend this restraunt above the others in alsager. The prices are reasonable for the food which is of good quality. The staff are generally pleasant and the food consistent.

Had a delivery pizza was cold chips soggy an luke warm with salad on top that looked like mushy peas it was just mush yuck!! The onion rings wilted when you picked them up, garlic bread was like dough totally inedible an when i phoned to let them know my dissatisfaction they were just rude definitely never ordering again

We have been here for a number of years and find that the food is consistent! You get what you pay for it isn't 5 star but not much fast food is! Haha. If you fancy some dirty fast food this is your place!

Food was delivered on time. Sons meat feast pizza was too spicy ( no mention that it was on menu) garlic bread was soggy, Husbands kebab was far to big and no smaller option and my chicken korma was 6 lumps of chicken and 75% sauce which was flavourless and a cheese and garlic nan again flavourless. Chips soggy and undercooked. May as well have bought a microwave curry and nan from Sainsburys or Asda and saved a fortune!!

We ordered a takeaway curry, and we were offered a deal which gave us 2 starters, 2 main meals, rice and naan bread for under £15. It was ready quickly and we were very satisfied with the quality of food. Great value and tasty fast food.

Fast, great value and a surprising variety of foods - from classic 'fried foods', to Pizzas, and curries..

There are several of this type of kebab takeaway in Alsager. This in my opinion is the best of them. The burgers, chicken and milkshakes are all very nice although not tried a kebab. If your looking for this style of takeaway you wont get better especially in Alsager.

The food varies between lovely and bloody awful but the most annoying thing is if you order off your mobile you get endless texts off them with no option to opt out, my advice is to avoid this place like the plague

Over an hour and 20 minutes for the wrong order, what came was dried out and disgusting. Kebab had a weird waxy aftertaste. Very odd. Will not be going back

Me and my boyfriend ordered from here on a busy Saturday and the service and the food was still great!! We ordered some milkshakes to which looked very advertising on arrival. They were delicious and both for just under 3 pound each. I had the Oreo and my boyfriend had the billionaire we were both impressed. Would recommend this takeaway.

It isn't very often that we have a take away but thought we'd give it a try as nobody could be bothered to cook.We had a variety of dishes, pizza, chicken, burger and kebabs. The only dish that I probably wouldn't have again was the chicken, it was a little greasy, other than that it was lovely, although they did forget our chips they brought us a fresh portion.If I fancy this type of take away again in the future I would eat here again.

Had a takeaway from papa's for the second time this week. Had the chicken tikka on nan bread with spicy chicken wings and chips and was an excellent meal again. First time we ordered the chocolate fudge cake as well which they forgot to pack. Phoned up to say they missed it on delivery but did mention the food was gorgeous. Within 5 mins we had our chocolate fudge cake which went down a treat. Would recommend the food and service has always, they always seem happy to take your order not like other kabab houses in Alsager. Keep up the good service.

We've had food from here many times and standards are very mixed. Sometimes it can be good, sometimes it can be poor. Too often, things are missing from orders but because everything is wrapped up, you never know until you get it home which is too late to do anything about it.Can be handy but not worth making much of an effort to visit.New milkshakes are good although quite expensive.

This is a really nice take-out and it's always freshly cooked and piping hot. My daughter always has the chicken and I love the pizza's, delicious food and on time for the delivery. If you want fast food this is the place to go.
