Absolutely disgusting service ordered a burger and a slice of cheese cake. Been waiting over an hour and it’s going be another hour. Asked son pick up said he had to wait 30mins as not started to make it yet. Trying cancel order.

Got two kebabs off here and it was shocking don’t know what the meat was because it was chewy and weird and the dinner meat was stale this place is proper bad for the price too 40 quid 😂

Ordered on a Monday evening so delivery was pretty quick. Food was very nice and fresh. Shame the pizzas don't have a stuffed crust option though.

NO just no! £8:50 for a double cheese burger and fries, this place was decent years ago. However it’s terrible now. Over priced small portions. Should be ashamed of themselves!

For those that are unaware there are many different qualities of donner meat and this is possibly the worst kind of slush glued together with wood shavings. Cheap chilli sauce and bland pitta bread. Just about passable after a gallon of vodka but you will regret it. No thought to the salad with a lot of lettuce, very little amounts of soft tomatos cucumber or onion. No red cabbage, no lemon no pickle. Absolute 80s crap. Dunno about the pizza

Lovely customer service from Babylon, 10/10 food and amazing customer service from the delivery driver Ali K. Amazing food and quick delivery. All the workers are amazing and always ask how our days been. The workers at Babylon provide amazing service and top notch food for the price. I would highly recommend if your passing through knutsford to try this kebab shop as the food is amazing and so is the customer service. We always have a joke with the staff and they are very enthusiastic about their job. Definitely would recommend this store as the food is fantastic and so is the service. Babylon in knutsford if definitely worth the try and delivery driver Ali K is always welcoming. 5 stars out of 5 amazing food.

Waited nearly 2 hours for a delivery. Called 3 times and was told it was 10 minutes away. Complete lie. No problem with the food but 2 hours is ridiculous considering I live less than 1.5 miles away.

75 minutes for delivery, well over the promised time, rang when overdue to ask why but no reasonable explanation given, not even a "we are very busy" on a Monday evening. I wasn't even asked which order it was that I was calling about. A decent looking burger arrived but the rest of the food was clearly rushed and it went in the bin as very unappetising, delivering wet under cooked chips is a sign that it shouldn't be eaten. I live 5 minutes away and I've been a regular customer for years, even more so during lockdown but I won't be ordering again. They have been advertising new management... Sorry but you are no longer for me, I have deleted my Babylon account, but please feel free to respond with an explanation or apology

Haven't used this place for months after being disappointed. Used it out of desperation but won't go again, over priced and has a weird chemical taste to it. Threw most of it away.

Appalling service, extremely rude and condescending (sexist) delivery man, low quality ingredients and the food is just dreadful. Should be shut down! Avoid!

Unfortunately it seems that Babylon are unable to respond professionally within an appropriate time scale to any issues/complaints raised. I have attempted on multiple occasions over the last two weeks to discuss the chemical taste of the food I received. In addition the incompetence of salad instead of fries together with chilli instead of garlic certainly did not help! Needless to say we are limited for good takeaway food in Knutsford and this is not it! I will not be back!

I’d recommend the owners visit a decent takeaway in Manchester or even Macclesfield - Garlic bread with cheese didn’t taste of cheese or garlic, just bread. Pita was stale for chicken kebab and hardly any salad.the saving grace was the burger was enjoyable and the fries quite good. My last visit here was 8 years ago and it was bad then.... think I’ll stick to going to elegante pizza in grappenhall. Further to drive but much better VFM and quality

Delivery speed is very slow. Food is in the boxes that long that everything goes soggy. And when you call to talk to someone get told that ‘food goes soggy on delivery’. Absolute rubbish service

If I could give less than 1 star I would. The food is very nice, but last night they were horrendously rude to me, near enough threw my food out of the car window and rhe had the cheek to ask me for a tip. Apart from that they were somewhat racist to my girlfriend over the phone.

Have had food from this place few times during my stay at knutsford. Have tried donor kabab, burgers, large vegetarian pizza and starters .. the food is good, only if you eat hot ... if it's cold not that tasty anymore. The kebabs are filling so order accordingly. Pizza was good so were the starters, have tried chick wings, onion rings etc... have had delivered few times.

I've been using this take away for some time. It's very hit and miss with the quality. Tonight was the absolute worst. I had chicken and lamb kebab. The lamb was inedible. Tasted like it was well past it's sell by date. I couldn't eat it. The 'salad' was a few limp, soggy bits of lettuce. The chicken was ok but the lamb had really put me off. The only thing I could eat was the pitta bread. Absolute waste of money. I will not be eating here again!

Ordered a donner kebab, lamb kebab, chips and chicken and chips. Arrived late. Donner meat over cooked. Chips under cooked. Not enough salad. Chicken hidden under chips and sauce in a cardboard box. Very disappointed. Just moved to the area. Won't use again.

One of the only delivery places in Knutsford and has decent food and a wide variety and is good for when you need a nice meal to grab when you are out and about on the time. Would recommend.

Use Babylon a fair bit. The app can be good unless they get your order wrong. The live chat is rubbish.

Pale undercooked chips, flabby chicken, everything underseasoned. Also, they charge 50p for ketchup - albeit a reasonable portion. No card payments (?!) Unless you're incredibly drunk, don't bother.

Finished work tonight at 11pm and was hungry. Last two times (over 18 months) I ordered a donner kebab & a mixed kebab. Food ordered out of necessity rather than a beer fuelled night out.Both times it was dire. Tonight I tried my third chance luck on a chicken kebab I now completely give up and will never return.Overpriced massively but more to the point the food is terrible and some Girl guides and Boy Scouts could do better from a tent on the common.Add to the fact that there were 15yr old girls in there behaving like they have no family or upbringing makes it even worse - sadly one of the staff entertained them which was very worrying (the rest did not to be fair). Appalling food, praying staff and a napalm strike wouldn't go amiss.Don't touch the place.

I go to Babylon's pretty regularly both on nights out and occasionally after I finish work and I have never had a bad experience with them.The food is always great and the service always comes with a smile. Babylon's will forever be a fave of mine!

Bought a Kebab from here on the evening of 12th June 2018 very overpriced and the food itself was absolute rubbish, had to throw it away what a waste of money . Glad I did now as looking through window the next morning the place is very very dirty, sauces uncovered and work surfaces cooking areas and overall flooring was thick with grime and had 2 dirty dishcloths on work surface. But would you believe it it has a hygiene rating of 5 !!!!

After paying nearly £20 for a lamb and chicken kebab and some nuggets and a can each what showed up was unbelievable...a box of poorly chopped, old iceberg lettuce with three pieces of seriously over cooked chicken and three gristly pieces of lamb...when I rang up to question the price I was laughed at and I assume from the foreign remarks unbeknownst to me I’m guessing insulted...just to finish it off it took over an hour for the replacement to arrive...but I had to return the other poor excuse for a kebab....amateurs and effing rude...worst greasy excuse for a kebab house I’ve ever used!!!

I happened to frequent this establishment on the evening of Saturday 22nd April 2018.The venue professes to offer a plethora of fast food delights including pizzas, burgers and kebabs.I will admit that my past experiences in visiting this style of operation would normally be preceded with the imbibing of some form of libation. The evening in question was no exception having made merry at the annual Knutsford Beer Festival prior to this visit to ‘Babylon’Unlike its namesake this outlet did not hold anything resembling a ‘Seventh Wonder’ – but I did order a ‘mixed meat kebab’ – it actually says on their website “Mixed Kebab in Pitta” (checked as at the date of submitting this review).I waited some time for my food to be prepared and was asked nearing the conclusion of the transaction whether I wished for ‘Salad?, Garlic Sauce? Chilli Sauce?’ – to which I replied in the affirmative to all three questions.I was then provided a package which felt like a styrofoam carton wrapped in fish & chip paper and so I carried on my merry way, opening said package as I did so. To my consternation and disbelief I discovered that the pitta bread had been folded within the fish & chip paper to the effect that it resembled a poor pass the parcel prize that is received as another layer of paper is removed. This was not expected since I had ordered a “Mixed Kebab IN Pitta” and as such I very nearly dropped the entirety of the parcel on the floor as I attempted to catch the pitta bread. I managed to salvage the pitta bread before it made contact with asphalt but it was a close run thing.I was incensed that I had been put through this ordeal given that the food that I had ordered was not as described and I repeat “Mixed Kebab IN Pitta” - and further, that no warning had been given that the pitta bread was surreptitiously inserted within the folds of the paper wrapping, so as to run the risk of losing the casing altogether.I could have gone back to ‘Babylon’ to complain about this ‘Wonder’ but I was in such a state of famishment that I resolved to consume what I had been given, in the state by which I had been given it.The meat was overcooked in the middle and overly charcoaled on the outside, the salad at least was fresh tasting, the chilli sauce was tepid at best and the pitta bread such that it was, was also overly charcoaled – I would not go so far as to call the food disgusting but I think ‘repugnant’ will suffice.I put the whole debacle behind me for the moment, but later that evening I frequented a public house with my companions that was in the immediate vicinity of ‘Babylon’ and I could not prevent myself from entering that namesake of the great Kingdom of Mesopotamia and remonstrating with the attendant ‘front of house’ at both the failure to produce the food that I had ordered in the manner by which I had ordered it (i.e. in Pitta) and their failure to produce it to a quality that was above abominable. The person attending the till responded along the line “well you didn’t bring it back?” and shrugged his shoulders – his attitude did not improve my mood.As mentioned at the beginning of this review, I have some relative familiarity of this type of dining experience and I am under no illusions on the character and quality of food to expect – but the abject failure to be able to place the kebab in the pitta as advertised on their own menu is a fundamental flaw outside the piteous offering that they interpret as ‘food’Thankfully I live about 180 miles from this establishment and so I hope it unlikely that I will ever have to experience Babylon again – I just hope that this review prevents those of you out there considering a ‘kebab in pitta’ at Babylon from experiencing the same fate is I……………..

£10 for a kebab BEWARE! Menu says 2x Mixed kebabs £6.90 each. ordered 4 mixed kebabs On collection a family member was charged £40. The reply was, "the way we ordered the food on the phone"

I ordered a 7 inch margarita and two piece chicken and chips .When my sister was picking the chicken off she suddenly said " There's blood in the chicken" I had a look later to find she was telling the truth. I also had issues with my pizza as half an hour later I was forced onto the loo. DO NOT ORDER THEIR FOOD!! This was the last straw as lately the food has not been up to food hygiene standards AVOID.

You can always rely on Babylon to provide reliable good quality pizza, kebabs and chicken. I have used them many times and have both collected my food from the premises and had their punctual efficient home delivery service.

The food was disgusting... stuffed in the box with and completely covered in mayonnaise. Absolutely vial, the chicken looked old and reheated, soggy chips, hard garlic bread. the only good thing i paid for was the ice-cream, as it wanted cooked from Babylon.

Good tasting kebab but quite dry. Others said this ... I know why. Could mean they use better quality lamb in their donner but there again dry.

Called in tonight due to there being no chippy left in Knutsford. Customer service was appalling no please, thank you, smile or eye contact. Ordered a salad kebab and some fries. Fries were good, pitta bread hard, salad had a bit of lettuce, one small piece of tomato and was packed with onions and chillis. Both of which I removed. You will be glad to know I will NOT be back and I won't be recommending,

What a shame, having used this place for over ten years the place seems to have really gone downhill. Rude staff, rude delivery personell and no attention at all to the actual customers. Really wish this hadnt have happened but it seems to have some very arrogant owners these days who seem to thing they can survive within the Knutsford trade, when to me they can not especially with Domino on the horizon.

Popped in to pick up a pizza and Donna and chips, well service was good but when I got home and tried the pizza there was no taste despite the fact it had chicken salami and peppers and onions Ithe only taste was the tomato sauce. I can only assume they boil all their ingredients. My mates chips were cold on the inside and as for the Donna meat well only a fool could mess up that. I suggest these fellas start using fresh ingredients and learn how to cook. I would never eat here again no matter how drunk I was. Tasteless crap

Babylon is the place to go for a great cheeky dinner. The staff are always chatting to us and its such a well known place to grab food. Unfortunately its not very healthy but its just a bit of a treat. Some things are a little expensive for what they are but the food it so tasty!

Waited over 90 minutes for a delivery so of course the food was cold, sweaty and inedible. I'm not stupid enough to eat that rubbish, it went straight in the bin, £25 well spent and the delivery driver was away faster than anything so no chance of a face to face complaint. 2 items I ordered were unavailable so was given some coins by the delivery guy. Given this place so so many chances but this is the final straw. Last time I ate from here I had chronic stomach pains. Don't be as naive as I am and just DO NOT EAT FROM HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's disgusting. Seriously do not eat from this takeaway
