Papa John's Pizza in Cherwell

Almost 2 hours to receive incorrect, cold food. On the tracker pizza was cooked within 15 minutes of ordering and took almost 2 hours to receive. Cold pizza, soggy box falling apart, missing toppings. Do not order from here. Domino’s is better, cheaper and delivers warm food promptly.

Ordered food, within 10 minutes it was on its way to me. Arrived piping hot, cooked perfectly and was delicious! Delivery driver was very friendly as well. Lovely team in the Bicester store😋

Had it been what I ordered I’m sure it would have been lovely, I picked off as many of the chillies that I could but I just couldn’t enjoy it, shame as this was the first time I have used PAPA Johns! A word of advise to PAPA johns please check what people order.

They provide pizza very quickly when I was in a rush which was convenient . And they have this 6 pound pizza thing which is really a good price for a folded pizza

I paid so much for this and it didn’t come I tried to contact before hand but I haven’t got a reply I’m so upset about this and I want my money back

Very late. Cold pizza. Rang 4 times to chase it. The pizza was expensive and worse than a £1 frozen pizza from a shop. Shame, as other stores are usually good. I've tried to give this store a few chances. This is the third time this had happened. I feel like, when you spend this much money, the pizza has to be good! I do not recommend.

They said it would be between 7pm and 7.30pm but said child corrected me and said it go here early, at 3 minutes to 7, always great pizza and great desserts, would recommend to anyone

Best service ever. Once placed order realized that chosen incorrect delivery address and it was delivered to that address. After a call with courier my order has been delivered to the correct address within 15 min. 10 out of the 5!!! Good job guys!

Tried garden party. Unlike other locations, they add green bell peppers (capsicum). The taste and service was good. Atmosphere, quite hot in the noon. The company must use AC for the staff and customers. Even if there are no customers, staff must have this facility i believe. Overall good experience.

Almost 17£ for a mini pizza with tomato and cheese, dry and not very good. Shocking

The pepperoni stuffed crust was not stuffed crust they forgot to add the cheese and the garlic dough bites was just plain dry bred with no garlic. The works was good as always.

Compared with dominos pizza papa john’s is poor in taste. ☹️

I Ordered for a collection and never received an update for my order and turned up to the shop to only find it was fully closed. I would like a full refund. I have checked justeat app and it has now said the order has been collected from a place that was not even open.

Great value in terms of toppings and very fast delivery. The food was very tasty. It's a 9.8/10 in my opinion.

The food is of great quality and you get quite a bang for your buck. Also there is quite a big variety of toppings and side dishes. Would recommend.

The food is usually great quality and is reasonable for takeaway especially if you're taking advantage of their offers. The delivery times can be slow at peak times and even sometimes outside of peak times. I think they need more drivers especially at busy times. Better range of side dishes than some other takeaway pizza places locally and a good range of pizza flavours. They also have a good variety of pizza sauces.

The steak fold was really good. The wings were not nice

I was given a "free pizza code" after a bad experience with papa John's in Brighton. I used this code to order my pizza at the bicester store for delivery. The app accepted my order fine. Received a call after 10 minutes saying the pizza was ready and they weren't going to deliver it and they wanted me to drink drive 2 miles to the store....lol. Why let the app accept my order if you weren't going to deliver? Never ever had this issue with dominos, the king of pizza

Rubbish. Ordered something on Uber eats through them and it never arrived even though it said it was being delivered. Restaurant refuses to give a refund as well. Absolutely terrible service.

Only place I will order from as they do amazing gluten free and vegan options without being too greasy. Always super speedy delivery and drivers are great at finding my house which is in a bit of an awkward location!

The price of the meal was very good. The time it took to get here and the easiness of the website was really good. I’m not a fan of pizza as I don’t like tomato or cheese but when my family chose papa John’s they advised me to have a bbq base and extra meat toppings so I wouldn’t taste the cheese and tomato and when I tucked into it I couldn’t believe how tasty it was, unlike any other pizzas I have tried. I will be ordering from yourselves in the very near future rather than Indian or Chinese. Many thanks, Nick.

Awful, no notice that the food was on route. Delivery driver didn't bother bringing to reception just dumped in the hotel foyer. Hotel reception confirmed this from cctv footage. Food was cold when it finally made it too me

I regularly use Papa Johns - and every time I place an order online or via phone call nobody can ever find the address I provide ( the correct one) I have tried numerous times to direct your staff members to my location to no avail, I thought that I would take some time to write this review as it’s a shame that such a big business cannot to get something so simple right, I will no longer be using this company due to it’s lack of communication regarding locations of customers, I look forward to hearing back from them thank you for your time.... Food was really good but the garlic dip doesn't taste of garlic, not very nice. Delivery time good and food hot.

Wait outside for your food it won’t be long they will keep saying what they stand right outside the front of the store smoking and swearing in front of my two children hasn’t been in our town long unless they change drastically won’t last much longer clean up your act

The issue was that it was early so cold by the time it would be eaten. Papa John’s is always great... just disappointed we had to eat it cold this time.

Been told to wait outside in the cold while my take away order was getting made. I had a face mask on. I was the only customer in the store but was politely told to leave. Every other take away let's customers wait as long as proper social distancing is maintained. Nothing against the staff.

It took over an hour for 3 cookies and 2 drinks to be delivered. Upon delivery the cookies are overcooked and delivery driver had no sense of personal space

On Sunday night we wanted to order some pizzas. The story too long what is happened I try to be short. I misunderstood the deal offer, and after the online payment I noticed something wrong. I called the Bicester store straight away and I asked about my order. First said nothing, later said 5 side orders. I tried to explain what I wanted. He said very sarcastic way how I thing I will get so much things for only £10.00. I said I don't want nothing for free but I don't need so much side, we would like pizzas,. He was a we can't do nothing type. I must take what I ordered. I asked a refund. Answer was how I think it, it is not possible because it is money for the company and my order is ready. During this over 20 minutes conversation they delivered for us 8 sides. Was 5 in basket. So we refused to take it. I still was on the phone with this very rude gentleman. This is NOT customer service. I am working in customer service about 10 years ago in UK, but I have never met so under the level service. This is demolish the Papa John's reputation. It looks anyone can work for this company from the street with any knowledge. This gentleman is not enough good here. He regards me a completely idiot customer, but didn't want to help at all, even we wish to pay more. At the end we got 3 pizzas, but definitely for us that was the last from Papa John's. In Bicester. No refund, no different order, no changes, what is it??? We are human, everyone can make mistake. He is the rudest man ever, and tell him don't work in customer service, he has no any knowledge for that. For this service this 1 star is too much.

The guy was so helpful. Even though they are closed for collection in this pandemic situation, where other competitors shop assistants are not willing to help, this guy was cheerful yet enjoying his work. 5 stars for his care and help towards customers. I cant narrate how he helped us due to me risking his job, although it was really nice of him.

Did not receive the dips we ordered ended up with5 garlic dips! Felt £43 for 2 medium pizzas and a portion of tops potatoes and dips not as ordered was very expensive and we were very disappointed.

This is definitely our go to pizza place in Bicester. Always quick delivery. Arrives hot. Not greasy. Could use a bit more topping spread out evenly like jalapenos.

Delivery took 1.5h the store wasn't really helpful, they apologised though. Pizza was ok but not much toppings, wouldn't order from this shop again.

There's barley a topping on the pizza , the base is nice though. Worst potato wedges (uncooked and mushy) Very bad experience

I do love a Pappa John's however sorry to say that despite the teething problems of starting up, the food is unlike any other Pappa John's. The toppings are very minimal compared to their other stores that have about 35% more in comparison. Also the food tastes synthetic something like washing up liquid. I hope that the teething problems settle & that it becomes a Pappa John's like the others.

Yesterday brownie from you guy's was excellent, today I was a bit disappointed. Pizza was good. Really great wings!

Those cheese bite things are so grim! What cheese is that 🤕😢 the brownie tasted a bit charred. I wouldn’t get either of those again so felt like a waste of money, but the man on the phone was very helpful when I ordered and the delivery lady was nice.

Arrived 2hrs after ordering, I rang after an hour and guy said that it was ready but waiting for a driver to pick it up and deliver it. So when it did arrive it was stone cold and 9.30 at night so was way too late to send it back and order from somewhere else! Will not order from them again!!
