Papa John's Pizza in Windsor and Maidenhead

We ordered a delivery for Sunday lunch and decided to try the Tabasco based (limited edition) pizza. It was delivered fresh, generously topped and tasty. It packs a punch as well! Not overly hot in the pepper stakes but a pleasant warming heat.

Barely any sauce on both pizzas so they were very dry, garlic cheese sticks just tasted like cheese and dough. Ordered cheese potato tots which came with jalapeños on?? Very expensive for low quality food

They over charged my son and refused to give me a refund. I was told that I had to go through the website. Absolutely terrible customer service do not use the store.

I have ordered from here regularly for over 2 years. I stopped 6 months ago. Reason is pizzas are full of cheesy gunk and ingredients almost non existant. My favourite ingredients mushroom and black olives and almost none on the pizza. Literally found 2 specks of mushroom. The crust was paper thin - had to eat with a knife and folk as we could not lift it! !Staff are never friendly but I endured it as the Pizza was good but, even after complaining to head office and getting a voucher we could not endure another disappointment.

The driver got lost and kept me on the phone for over 10mins while he walked to my home. He said the GPS didn’t send him to the right place but I’ve never had issues before.

Pizza was great but the cookies were burnt! Not really good enough to be honest. Used to be much better.

Worst pizza I've ever had! The pizza was so oily it soaked through the box. No wonder they had a good deal displayed on their website. First and last time trying Papa John's. I want to return it! I'd feel bad giving it to a homeless person. I called to inform them and the guy who answered saying 'We're busy, I'll call you back in 10mins' then hung up. Disgusting.

The food tasted fine but the delivery driver held the box badly. The pizza was completely squished into one half of the box.

Ordered this evening. Waited 1 hour and still no order. Called and was advised I would be called back. 20 minutes later still no call. I called back to be told no order had been placed. I had received an e mail of my order and payment had been taken from my bank too. Store said no food as no order placed. Had to send my husband to the Maidenhead store in the end to get our order. Will never order from Papa Johns again. Awful service and useless website

I wish they would give you the choice of choosing your own sauce with the unfortunately they always give you that horrible garlic one.

Asked for thin crust. What was recieved was a soggy base and a very greasy oily topping. Revolting pizza

Buffalo wings should be crispy. These are soft and cold. Completely inedible. I’d like a refund.

Didn’t arrive with the dips I ordered and the pizza box had been tipped to its side so the pizza was a mess! Wouldn’t ordered again.

I ordered extra pepperoni but instead they removed all the pepperoni including what would have been on the pizza as standard. Some of the chicken poppers were undercooked inside the chicken. I think the pizza may have been medium when I ordered large but not sure. Seemed small. Bit slow delivery. Below normal standard.

They tried to deliver... 15 minutes before the 45 minutes arrival time...not a bad thing ... we weren't expecting early delivery especially on a Saturday night so didn't hear the phone telling us they were here. They called us (my bad - phone was on vibrate). I called them about 5 mins later and got a mouthful from the branch manager... "will not accept any more orders if it happens again ... they've tried to deliver and call you etc etc .. wouldn't listen to me when Ibtried to explain ....previously their driver has reversed over my front lawn leaving massive tyre dents when trying to turn around & we didn't complain and we order from them at least 2x per month (if not more).. their driver when they did deliver was VERY rude & didn't know how to get through my front gate - so clearly hadn't tried to knock on the front door as they had claimed.... they need a massive overhaul of staff and attitudes .... maybe the main office needs to reallocate the franchise ....customer service rating is ZERO Shame as the pizza is very nice

Got my order wrong and what I received was disgusting. Asked for Hawaiian. I got pepperoni covered in chillies. I have a pic. Yh never had a problem till now 🤮 wasted 20£.

We usually receive great food and great service, but the last few times have been terrible. Our pizza was not made the way that we ordered it, and when we called and asked to have it remade we were told NO! The man that we spoke with said that he personally made our pizza, and that there was nothing wrong with it. He refused to remake our order, argued with us, and then told us that if we were unsatisfied we could contact the manager the next day. No worries...we will not be ordering from this location ever again. To the rude man that we spoke to on the phone..."THIS IS NOT HOW A PIZZA WITH EXTRA CHEESE SHOULD LOOK!"

This is the worst pizza for taste price and staff rude Ill mannered, whom confronted me from behind the counter when I disputed my order

They basically forgot to deliver the main item on the order and when I called them there was no answer. Shabby service all round.

Basically didn't deliver the main item of the order so all the adults went hungry. the kids had the one pizza they delivered. Tried to call them and see if they could deliver it later, but no answer on their phone number during their advertised office hours despite ringing 6 times. My wife took the delivery as I was on the phone, but the driver didn't bother to check what he was handing over compared to what the order was. Sloppy and ruined our evening.

Every single time I order from anywhere else, I end up disappointed. Papa John's is in a different league. XXL is vastly bigger than anything else available and the quality DEMOLISHES everyone else's. The numpties rating low on here are likely those who don't have a job.

Got a large with extra cheese and it was awful. 2nd worst pizza I’ve ever had. Cheese was like plastic stuck to the bread and chicken smelt old.

Pizza was perfect, nice and hot, great flavour, will definitely order again when we can’t be bothered with knives and forks.

Was super fast and the pizza was as lovely as always but there wasn’t enough pineapple on it.

Would not go to this place if I was starving! I live above them and you see everything they do at the back of the shop it's disgusting! They have no hygiene touching there privates whilst holding utensils, spitting around the back of shop smoking and rubbing beards totally disgusting

The two bacon and cheese sticks were dripping with grease and almost soggy, and the ice cream tastes off or as if it’s been completely melted and then refrozen again. Disappointing as out of £25 worth of food I can only eat £6 worth. Won’t be ordering again!

Both Pizzas were hot and tasty but ordered anchovies as extra but had to hunt to find them and only tasted one. Rather an expensive and very disappointing extra. Will avoid extras next time as don’t want to be disappointed

Never turned up no fone call nothing

The pizza today was below standard. The pizza was soggy and the toppings were hardly any, compared to usual. And toppings that there was were on the center of the pizza mainly rather than evened out throughout the pizza.

Ice cream was not in original delivery but the driver came back with it a short while later. Piping hot pizza!

Way too expensive. Rip off. £31 for a small margarita and medium garden party. Do not use this app. Order direct. The 2 star is the for the price. The pizza was ok.

First time trying this restaurant, ordered the works pizza. Food was still hot and the quality was amazing. Food had arrived earlier than was expected, would definitly recommend and will certainly order again in near future!

Ordered ‘all the meats’ with extra chicken & sweetcorn. Received chicken & sweetcorn pizza, no other meat. Usually they’re very good but not today. We ate it because it was ok although not very hot, but not what we ordered and very expensive when it only had two toppings.

Great take away only. My personal favourite pizza in the area. Clean premises and online booking is simple. Thanks Papa!

Hi all just to let you all know my first hand experience of visiting this Papa John's Pizza l heard an Asian in red T-shirt shouting at a customer who was inside. l could hear and see the high rated spitting employee with his hands raise high confronting a customer this is appalling what managerial skills has he got none. Could not resolve the issue lasting more than 10 mins l walked off would not recommend visiting or placing an order. there Staff do not know how to park their vehicles taking up two spaces. Unsatisfactory totally shocked felt ill. Paul'a

Arrived late, cold pizza and the chicken poppers I paid for were never delivered.

I have not receive my order, I am still waiting after 30 minutes. I am trying to call the restaurant and ‘user busy’ so I cannot talk to anyone... No one sent a message or call for an update. But the payment was made straight away, they are good at charging quick. very disappointed and still waiting for the food...

I order today but you didn't deliver any food yet. I tried calling you atleast 35 times but the line is busy. On top of it the order status changed to 'delivered'... pathetic service

Save your money and order from papa johns directly - cost an absolute fortune. Wasn’t until after I checked the papa johns website that I realised there were loads of good deals on there and none on here

Always a great pizza with good delivery. Easy to use online menu and hot food arrives.

Pizza was alright but nothing extraordinary to be honest. The special garlic source it came with was basically oil and butter and smelled of garlic very little.

We ordered a pizza following my wife successfully passing her exams, but only to be MASSIVELY DISAPPOINTED by our PAPA JOHNS experience and pizza - this experience real upset my wife, which is unforgiveable – SHAME ON YOU PAPA JOHN I opened the pizza boxes during collection only to discover, this PAPA JOHNS franchise was short changing its customers on the toppings – I KNOW THIS BECAUSE MY BRO-IN-LAW HAS BEEN IN THE PIZZA BUSINESS FOR THE LAST 15 YRS AND I HAVE HAD MY FAIR SHARE OF PIZZAS SO I KNOW A GOOD PIZZA FROM A BAD ONE; ALSO THE TRICKS!!!! When we confronted the store manager, he simply shrugged the lack of topping on both pizzas by ignoring us and ignoring the situation – CLEARLY DID NOT CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE!!! @PAPA JOHNS or store manager – can you change the Papa John slogun to 'Better Ingredients. Maidenhead Paola John's , run by careless staff, never get the dips I pay for or the wrong ones if I'm lucky, sometimes the meat tastes off and I've been ovwrcharged, the staff are rude and have no customer service skills. Would not recommend.

I've ordered several times from Papa Johns and the delivery was always great but this time it was terrible... I've answered the call, I've went down the building and didn't found anyone and my food was out side the building, on the cold and ON THE FLOOR!!! Unprotected from anything... This is unbelievable worst service and delivery ever... couldn't the guys waited a few minutes??? Very very disappointed.

Ordered for delivery, paid extra for toppings to customise an existing pizza on the menu, rather than adding more toppings came with less! Only added a few of the extra toppings I selected. Called and customer service was fine, polite and said they’d send a new one out, except half the order was already here and fam had to start eating! Speed of new pizza was not bad, they delivered fast however again very stingy with toppings considering I’d paid for extra mushrooms and extra...etc etc . Some slices looked so bare it was ridiculous- what was the point of paying extra? Used to enjoy papa john but not likely to order again. Dips are also very artificial tasting. Tater tots not cooked well
